Simply adorable!

Very cute and funny, I'm glad I read it. I had to read it outloud to really get into the rhyming structure, but it was worth it. Near the end I had a bit of trouble with the rhymes, though I'm not sure if that's just me.

The sleigh and the guards were juuuust a bit Metal .

Made me laugh way harder than it should have, I love it!

Given how Luna kept telling her thestrals to 'Dash' for some reason I kept expecting Rainbow to pop up wondering who was calling for her.

Claps with enthusiasm Bravo, my friend. Marvelous read from start to finish. It had me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside, and there are quite a few zingers in there that had me chuckling. Honestly, just so much to love, as usual. I really need to sit down and read more of your stories.

Happy Hearth's Warming and thank you for this excellent piece of art. :derpytongue2:

:derpyderp1: "This isn't how I remember the poem going!"

Though you are not as slow as a turtle or snail,
You have never been lost while delivering mail.

Except for that time she went north instead of south to fetch the birds for Winter Wrap-Up, but we'll just overlook that. :derpytongue2:

Do birds count as mail? That's an interesting philosophical argument! :rainbowlaugh:

11069842
The point was that she definitely has a past history of getting lost. :trixieshiftleft:

But why can't a bird be mail too? All you'd really need is to slap a postage stamp and an address on it! :trollestia:

What a lovely story! So glad I stopped by to read it.

As our certified postal pony of the group, I have it on good authority that we do, on occasion, deliver live birds. If I remember, they were doves, to be released at a wedding. :derpyderp2:

11069842
at one time because the US postal system is so weird you could mail literally anything, children, bricks, cars, just as long as you had enough postage and they'd have to deliver it.

This is amazing stuff man! Bringing the best of both holiday spirits in and you did it wonderfully! All of it is so cute! Hope ya don't mind, but I just had to make a reading of this spectacular fic/poem of yours!

(I don't mean to offend anyone with this comment in any way!)

This was fun. It makes me nostalgic for the version I made based on the Mentally Advanced Series.

That was Ditzy Doo. Totally different Pony. Totally. :pinkiehappy:

(I have a sort of a semi-demi-headcanon that there are at least three grey, cross-eyed ponies running around Ponyville: Ditzy doo, Derpy Hooves, and Muffins. And possibly Bubbles.)

smiles wide, steps aside, then starts laughing with joy

Need anything else be said?

I mean, they do all have different voices.

11070508
I suppose that would explain a great many things. :rainbowlaugh:

I was smiling warmly throughout -- well, until I busted up laughing way harder than I should have at

And away they did fly, with Derpy in the lead.
Which while great… lead to some problems, I’ll concede.
By morning light, the damages were substantial,
And led the crown into debts quite financial.
Sixteen roofs were shattered by the rampaging sleigh,
As were some trees that did not get out the way.
The sleigh’s rails scooped up festive roof lights by the yard,
And over the ocean, lost one of the guards.

Happy Hearths Warming to you and your family :derpyderp1:

An absolutely delightful and festive story. And just...

Your sense of direction is that of a pigeon!

wheezes I don't know why that's so funny! XD

I doubt even Zecora,
With her rhymes galore,
Could make this story
Intriguing any more.

You know? I personally felt like I struggled with the beginning, and the ending flowed super well... but you're like, the third person to say the latter part's rhymes were odd or gave trouble, so... huh. Perhaps I should have done another check there. :applecry:

Dangit! MISSED OPPORTUNITY!!!

That makes me happier than any other comment could, knowing the present landed well with its intended.

Headcanon Fix: Derpy wasn't working for the post office yet. Yeah. That... that works... :rainbowderp:

How could you offend? THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

Your comment was perfect. Adorable! How sweet!
At the risk of sounding ungrateful... Keep working your side of the street! :raritywink::twilightblush::trollestia:

What?? I never said anything about this story's flaws.
I think you misinterpreted my intents.
Or maybe I just need to work on delivering my messages.

No worries! Just admitting I’m no poet! :rainbowlaugh:

Well, it might also have to do with the fact that I'm really not that used to reading verses
