Surprisingly, Cadence's part didn't surprise me in the least though I'm curious on who these ladies she had intended to set up as Spike's harem. Betting more than a few are some very eager crystal ponies.
Thorax...I wanted a spit take but his reaction was actually funnier that way.
It blows my mind that this is what the first impression looks like on a story that hit the feature box. I would understand if it was meant to intentionally be a crack-fic. But the story itself is written really well!
Okaaaaaaay...I mean, I knew what I was getting myself into when I decided to read this, but still...
Not entirely sold on Spike and Chryssie being a thing for a lot of the usual and obvious reasons, but setting that aside for a moment, it's a decent tale. Sort of wish we saw the full aftermath of whatever it was Celestia planned to do in response to this, but, you know, beggers can't be choosers.
Thorax was perfect in this, though, I'll admit that.
This was actually a good story. Could use more editing, and you would probably get better feedback if you stop calling Spike a baby dragon! He's not a baby dragon, he's just short. So a young dragon would be more accurate.
