This story is a sequel to Uncongenealogy
Having finally regained her memories of Apple Bloom's true origins, Luna decided that, in the interest of all of Equestria, action had to immediately be taken to prevent the potentially catastrophic consequences of the filly's secret nature.
So she called the six bearers of the Elements of Harmony, along with her daughter, to Canterlot, so that they could rid the filly of the dark magical essence within her.
It did not go well. Not in the least.

Correction, AB is Twilight/Shining's Mother in Law. Which in turn makes Luna there Grandmother in Law, which thus means that both Shining and Twilight are Double Prince/Princesses respectively.
For further thought this also makes Cadence AB's Cousin as well as Twilight/AJ and perhaps most importantly/awkwardly Shining Armor's Aunt. Which ultimately puts Flurry Heart as both Twilight and AJ's Cousin and Niece at the same time.

Apple Bloom saying "Mum" really sticks out to me. No one anywhere in the US says that, especially not in the South. That's strictly a Commonwealth thing.

It's not a matter of pronunciation, if you write 'mom' and do a spell-check it'll mark it as an error, it's just not how the word is written.
Also, how much do you want to bet there's now going to be a scene of them eating aubergines because of these comments?

its a pretty common one, along with mummy, mumma and other such switch ups

This implies Cadence erased future Apple Bloom's memories after popping her back in the future. And Applejack got dropped off randomly.

That still wouldn’t be correct; that would mean that she married Night Light or Twilight Velvet, which she hasn’t. There is no familial relationship between Apple Bloom and Twilight Sparkle or Shining Armor, whether genetic or legal; the only relationship is through their half-sister Applejack.

Not a fan of how you played the relations straight, but you got more than a few laughs from me, probably because of the absurdity of how you treated the situation, regardless, it was well worth the read!
