Well, now I must ask thee for a sequel. This is quite a fun story and I wonder if indeed Minuette is going to reciprocate them.
So my shipping side is playing it out like this.
"You totally think of me as your marefriend?"
Marble of course responded with a nod and blushing mmhmm.
"You are really cute when you do that. Well, I think we need to go on a full date for that! I'll pick you up at 7 on Friday, so prepare for full out picture sessions!"
Of course Marble was melting over the fact that Minuette was very much reciprocating.
Bleh, I know, I am terrible, but that's just a little of what I see could happen. Minutte being the photo bomber, I quite imagine she'll want lots of pictures to enjoy Marble when they can't be together, and pictures Marble can have whenever they're not around each other.
Of course, the stone of shipping will be, interesting to say the least if it were ever involved.
So Rambling but, I DO love how you've characterized them both and brought Marble 'out of her shell.' so to speak. It was also a good rendition of someone being shy being given an outlet. Shyness isn't easy, but it can bring out beautiful things.

I like this. You gave Marble a personality, characterized everyone very well, and the dialogue was never stilted or boring or cliche'd. The character's personalities, Minuette especially, shone through. It's far more interesting than the usual crop of "A meets B, falls in love" stories.
