An interesting glimpse into the sourest Pie sister. Hopefully she'll try to escape from the rut now that she's aware of her designated driver. And Cheese's inclusion leads to some interesting questions. Questions that sadly won't be answered here; this wnded up feeling more like a scene out of a larger story. Still a good read, though. Years ago while still with my ex I had a short stay near Houston (hated it)
The store manager, dishwasher and one of the hostesses was from Bosnia.
On one particular slow day me and the dishwasher were having a nice conversation after a brief game of wiffleball with a stale baguette when one of the younger hostesses overheard us. She sincerely thought gypsies were royalty. Or something. Me and the dishwasher had to explain that no, that was not the case. Exact opposite actually. Fond memories, there.
