This story is a sequel to Moonrise

Living as exiles in the Everfree Forest, Luna and Scrivener Blooms are nonetheless content in the sanctuary they have found for themselves. Yet they are not safe from the meddling of both outside forces, and the rising tide of darkness threatening to once more drag Equestria down into the dark ages it had once escaped, and soon enough find themselves struggling to help protect a world that reviles their existence. Takes place after the events, confessions, and changes of Six Broken Ponies.

Action, adventure, high fantasy and romance all comingle, pitting a confident, mischievous, and sometimes foul-mouthed Luna and her eccentricities against forces of light, forces of darkness, and a unicorn with a special talent for irritating other ponies.

Their son has grown up. Their world is intact. And in spite of old wounds that refuse to heal and new frustrations, everyone is moving forwards with life. And too late, Luna and Scrivener discover they're being watched by a so-called 'brother' who claims to need their help... and is willing to go to any lengths necessary to get it.
Takes place five years after Absolution. Eighth story in the Blooming Moon Chronicles.

This story is a sequel to Reddux the Tyrant

A threat is forming in the underbelly of Equestria, a threat whose true nature remains disturbingly elusive to Equestria's Night Princess.

With her millennium-old confidants long dead and gone, the newly-returned Princess Luna calls upon a dangerous but loyal ally to gather the ponies she needs from her sister's unfamiliar Equestria. Together, they seek out the underdogs and the overshadowed, the second-place and the unappreciated, those who's virtues are not so readily visible in the light of day. Ponies among whom she has much in common.

They are not like the Element Bearers.

They are no heroes.

With the exception of chapter three, you do need to have read Rites of Ascension to understand what's going on here. If you skip that part, you'll be severely lost.
