After reaching an accords with the other pony tribes Commander Hurricane, finds herself out of a job that is until a dragon attack brings her out of retirement. This dragon is a behemoth of a beast though, and even with new allies helping, beating it might not be possible.

Being left for dead in Trottingham was a major disappointment for the little changeling prince, this is true. Being adopted by a paddle-happy pony wizard, this ‘Star Swirl the Bearded,’ was also a bit of a downer at first. But Stasis still manages to appreciate the savory side of things.

Unfortunately, not all pastel prey are as soft and as chewy as they may appear. Stasis has seen the golden soldiers and their goddess’ wrath, and if he can’t keep his true nature a secret, he may see them yet again.

And of course, not all changelings see fraternizing with prey in the same light….

The problem with historical narratives, as Clover the Clever can attest, is that the reality is rarely so cut and dry.

Star Swirl the Bearded, exiled by Princess Platinum and worried for his continued survival, sends a letter to Clover the Clever briefly detailing his views on ponykind's origins, the nature of the physical world, and the future of his species.

On a day that changed everything, Star Swirl vanquished one last enemy and paid a terrible price for it. That price was his own life.

This is where the history books conclude his long and eventful story, but the truth is there was another price. One that was still being paid long after his demise, in the form of six ponies, each living one after another and each living through various times in Equestrian history.
