Matthew was a normal child when the end of the world happened. Darkness erupted from the Earth, casting demons onto the people of Earth. Matthew should have died when the demons poisoned his soul with darkness, but he survived.

He fought for humanity for years alongside others of his kind.
Humanity in return, cast him out and into the void with no hope of returning home.
Now Matthew will remain in the realm of Equestria for the rest of his days.
With some luck, he might just find the happiness he has always longed for.

The tale of a long forgotten being who returns to an ancient, familiar world in the form of a young man. As his journey takes him across vast landscapes, he discovers more about the nature of his new reality; more than any thinking creature could hope to know.

In the aftermath of a huge explosion in the Everfree Forest, Ponyville soon finds itself as the new home for Lucario, an "Aura Pokemon" from another dimension. While he avoids explaining what has happened to him and where he came from, he repays his new friends' kindness by protecting them from the evil forces that suddenly appears around Equestria.

Meanwhile, a certain princess of the night watches his every move, unable to judge if this new visitor will bring safety or utter destruction upon the land.

(This story primarily takes place between season 2 and season 3. Elements from season 3 and beyond may occur, but won't have a significant impact on the plot.)

His evil was legend. He was an entity of incalculable power and unparalled malice - his icy soul utterly consumed by his plans to destroy all of life, until he was stopped and defeated. He had butchered and enslaved thousands, spit in and stepped on nature's face with the necromantic horrors that were created aboard Naxxramas, and was a generally annoying raid boss, all while under the cruel tyranny of Azeroth's previous Lich King, Arthas Menethil...
