The ninth story in The Journey of Graves.

Graves is gone, departed for parts unknown without so much as a backwards glance. A quick farewell and a cold goodbye is all the marshal left before severing every tie he ever had to Ponyville, including those with Rarity.

Why? He's a soldier and it was obvious he'd one day have to leave. But the way he left, so abruptly, even callously... it just doesn't seem right. Could it be that there's something more to his departure than meets the eye? Or are thoughts like that merely fancy and wishful thinking? To find the truth, Rarity and the girls start down a long, winding road that will hopefully bring the grey eyed soldier back. Hopefully.

Three comrades are in the middle of a war on Earth when three equines appear in the midst of battle. Can the warriors get the mares out and home in one piece? And what are the mares' first impressions of these seemingly dangerous creatures?

American tank commander, Alexander, along with his crew members and his M1 Abrams tank are transported to Equestria in an accidental magic teleportation spell, but the spell also transports Russian tank commander, Vladimir, his crew members and his T-90. One commander deems the Equestrians a major threat and proceeds on a rampage. The other pledges their help to the ponies...

A story that I, Rustling Leaves, heard related at Sugarcube Corner this past week, and it wouldn't leave my head. I have dramatized it some, collected journal entries, and conducted a number of interviews.

Our protagonist (who wished to remain anonymous) is pulling late hours in a little diner, pouring himself into the MLP comic he's editing, to avoid thinking about his troubles.

He's spared from his problems by a little, pink pony who can violate the 4th wall.
