This separate ways chapter happens after chapter 14 and runs parallel with the first Separate ways.

Fluttershy lowered her head, "The day after tomorrow is…"

"Is what?" Babe asked.

"The last day…"

Babe put a hand on Fluttershy's back, "We don't know if it will be the last day. Princess Celestia just wants to meet us."

Unfortunately she didn't feel any better about the situation.

"Even if it is a meeting and a farewell all in the same day, we'll always be friends Fluttershy. You know that right?"

Fluttershy looked at him and nodded, her expression shows she contradicted her understanding.

"When you were all depressed over us leaving I couldn't help but feel sad." He admitted showing that he was truly sad for the first time in Equestria, the world he would've loved to live in without regret, "I'm sure André would love to stay with Twilight, Rainbow, Applejack and everypony but he knows it too. He doesn't want to leave but he has to. Like I said before 'let's just make the most out of it', ok?"

"….Right." Fluttershy agreed, still a little saddened herself but she decided to not let time be her enemy and instead chose to use it as much as possible until the day actually did come. 

"Good. I think I'll give you a passing grade too."

Fluttershy was puzzled, "Grade?" 

"Yup. This was another test, you passed. An actual simulation with real environment and interaction, your lessons still aren't over though. I'll think of something else."

"I'll be waiting then." she said with a low yet confident voice.

Babe smiled, "That's what I like to hear." he grabbed a cup of water and held it into the air, toasting to his and André's friendship with the mane6. 

He took a sip of the water while Fluttershy went into into her bag, "I wanted to give you something." she mentioned to Babe.

After digging into the deepest part of the bag she was carrying she finally manages to pull out a gold star, the star accessory dangled around her hoof as she extended it to her date. The star had a picture of a few butterflies in the center that greatly resembled Fluttershy's cutie mark.

Babe took the star, "This is nice." he complimented before turning to Fluttershy, "What is it?"

"That's a friendship charm I made for you. I wanted to show you how much I appreciated everything you've done for me." she pointed at the Star, "I carefully made it from stained glass. They say if you give them to a very special friend you'll be friends forever." she turned her head to hide her blush, "I figured it'd be perfect for you, so when you go home you could just look at the charm I made you and think of all the good times you've had here in Equestria."

Babe didn't know what to say right off the bat, "This is really nice Fluttershy." was the best he could come up with but despite a simple sentence Fluttershy was happy he said it.

"Do you really like it?" She faced him once more.

He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her, "You have no idea. Thank you so much."


The sudden hug caught Fluttershy off guard. She closed her eyes and hugged Babe back. Afterwards he placed the charm in his pocket. The two continued on with the night, enjoying every minute of it.

After an hour of laughter, bonding and talking Babe and Fluttershy packed up. 

The two eventually reached Fluttershy's cottage after a graceful walk back, on the way back Babe thought that Ponies should really appreciate the night more. He knew Princess Luna would certainly love it if her subjects did that a little more, and the fact that what he and Fluttershy just experienced was something only the night could provide.

Fluttershy walked up to the cottage door, "Thank you so much for walking me back home." she said to Babe as she turned to him.

"No need for the thanks." he politely said, he picked up her hoof and held it in his hands, "It was my pleasure. I love spending time with you."

Fluttershy only smiled as her cheeks turned red.

Babe released her hoof and was ready to take his leave, "I'd better head to Rarity's. It's getting pretty late." he noticed while looking up at Luna's moon. He started walking down the cottage walkway.

Fluttershy nodded, "Be careful, ok?" she called out.

He turned around, " I will." he called back, "Don't worry about me. I'll see you tomorrow." he started waving to her.

Seeing him wave she waved back with a smile, "Ok. Bye."

With their final goodbye's Babe watched Fluttershy enter her cottage before making his way back for Rarity's. As he walked down the dirt road he pulled out the charm Fluttershy gave him. He looked at it and grinned. He placed the charm back into his pocket, anticipating the next time he and Fluttershy will get the chance to spend another day together.
