//------------------------------// // The Lost Hypnosis Book // Story: Princess Trixie's Revenge // by Chris-Cross13 //------------------------------// We start our story, (If you can call it that) inside Twilight’s house, with Twilight frantically searching her bookcases and drawers for something “WHERE IS IT?! WHERE IS IT?!” She screams as she looks around. At that moment, a knock is heard at Twilight’s door. Twilight is too busy searching to care and continues looking. After a few moments, Twilight’s door gets broken down by her guest, Christian. “Hey Twitlight, what’s WHOA! What happened in here?!” Christian exclaims as he eyes the mess of books and papers covering the floor. Twilight turns, looking frantic and restless as she greets him.“Oh, hey Christian. Sorry about the mess, I’m looking for something.” “A broom?” Christian says, in his sarcastic tone. He loves making Twilight mad. It’s his favorite pastime. “Ha ha! Real funny!” Twilight replies in her sarcastic tone, “No, I’m looking for a book.” “In your library? No way!” Christian replies, still annoying Twilight. “Knock it off! It’s a certain kind of book, a hypnosis spell book.” Twilight finally answers, hoping to stop Christian from bugging her. Today is not the day for him to be annoying her. “So, what’s the big deal about a spell book? You have a million of them!” Christian asks in a confused manner. Twilight is already good with magic (As much as he hates to admit it.) Why is she so worried about one book? Twilight turns looking angry. “CHRISTIAN! If that book falls into the wrong hands, who knows what could happen!” Christian, shocked by the intensity of her voice, stumbles back. This was unusual even for Twilight! “Ok, chill. Where did you last leave it?” He asked as he regained his balance. Normally, he didn't help Twilight. But seeing how she was desperate for help, he decided to lend a hand. Twilight thought to herself for a second. “Last time I saw it, it was in my backpack.” “Ok, did you check your pack?” Christian asked, with a bit of annoyance in his voice. “Uhh…” Twilight was stalling, and he saw right through her. “You didn’t check, did you?” He knew Twilight too well, she may be a genius, but simple stuff like this flies right past her. Twilight sighs in embarrassment, “No, I didn't.” Twilight walks over to her pack. As she lifts up her pack, pencils and paper fall out of a huge hole in her pack. “There’s a hole in it! The book must have fallen out!” Twilight starts panicking. Who knows when the book fell out? She hasn't used her pack in weeks! For all she knows, the book could be on the far side of Equestria by now! “Oh, snap.” Christian was surprised. He figured the book would be in an obvious place that Twilight would never think to look in. He quickly thought of something assuring to say, it was obvious Twilight was either going to have a nervous breakdown or start crying a river. The way she started running around her house in a frenzy was pretty much a sure sign for one of them. While Christian loves seeing Twilight act like an idiot, this was a little pathetic “I won’t worry about it Twilight, the book will probably turn up eventually.” Twilight stopped dead in her tracks. “Christian is trying to calm me down? That’s rare. He must really want to help me.” Twilight thought. “You’re probably right Christian.” Twilight smiled. Christian was right, “What do I have to worry about?” Twilight thought. “I bet if I clean up this mess, I’ll find the book!” Twilight said. She thanked Christian as she started cleaning up. “You have fun with that Twitlight; I’m going to go see the others.” Christian said as he went to leave. “If you see my book, tell me!” Twilight yelled as he left. As Christian walked to town, he thought to himself. “If that book is outside, it would be ruined by now. I bet Twitlight put it in a drawer or something and forgot about it. It’ll turn up eventually.” he said aloud. Meanwhile, on the far side of Everfree Forest, a light blue unicorn treks through the trees. The unicorn was confused, lost, and filthy. She must have followed this river for miles just to find a way out! “And to think, none of this would have happened if Twilight didn’t ruin my plans, again!” Trixie was sick of it. Thanks to Twilight and her friends, she was stranded in this forest with no idea on how to get out. As Trixie walked through the forest she ranted about her rival. “Twilight Sparkle, Element of Magic. Twilight Sparkle, Celestia’s star student. Twilight this, Twilight that! I never hear the end of it! I need to think of a new plan. A plan of revenge! And this time, I’m going to WHOA!” Trixie was too busy ranting to watch where she was going. Trixie tripped on something and landed flat on her face. “Stupid rocks.” She muttered as she got up. Trixie went to throw the object that tripped her. But when she picked it up, to her surprise, it wasn't a rock. It looked like some sort of book. “What’s a book doing all the way out here?” Trixie pondered as she looked at it. The cover was too ruined to read, but other than that it was in great condition. As she walked, she opened the book to read the title page. “Hypnosis spells, tricks, and how to cast them. It's a hypnosis spell book! But, what is this doing out here?” Trixie thought about this for a moment, and then she saw some writing underneath the title. Trixie read it aloud, “If found, please return to Twilight Sparkle. Thank you!” “This is Twilight’s book? The idiot must have lost it!” Trixie laughed at the thought of Celestia's "Star student" losing a spell book. “I could use this for my revenge!” But as she thought about this, she realized Twilight would see this coming a mile away. Trixie grew angry. “I’ll never think of something! Twilight’s too clever to my tricks! Everyone is! The spell would never work!” Trixie went to throw the book in a tree. It was useless to her. But to her astonishment, when she looked up, she saw Ponyville. The river she followed had led to a small lake on the outskirts of town. As Trixie looked toward the town, she saw that new human, Christian, walking with Twilight’s friends. Trixie knew all about Christian after the Chrysalis Incident. “Hmm, I don’t think Christian has ever seen me or any of my tricks.” Trixie thought about this as she looked at the book. All of a sudden, Trixie got a huge, evil looking smile on her face. “Ohh, I think I have a plan coming along! And this time, I’ll make sure Twilight; no… All of Equestria, pays!” Trixie quickly ran toward town, she had work to do.
