On Equis, in the land of Equestria, Twilight Sparkle makes a discovery that could change her world's history, for better or worse.

On Earth, in New York City, a young musician and metalhead, named Kenneth Marshall, makes a pact with a strange man after a complicate night.

This transports him to a mysterious forest full of magical creatures. But he soon discovers that he can sing and play all the music he wants, like songs from his favorite artists.

As an ancient force awakes, two worlds are about to collide. Trouble will ensue, but also some laughs, tears and a lot of music. And, from all of this, a truth lost in the abyss of time may be revealed. A truth that some wants to keep hidden.

Bronze Pocket is many things: a clever earth pony, a wealthy landowner, and a father of three children—Cluster Tale, the eldest and most intelligent son; Nova Steel, the brash middle-child; and Airglow Sky, humble and fresh-faced, as well as the youngest (and only) daughter. Very few of them like or trust one another, and would rather take their time and energy to other places, to simply avoid any blood-tied complications which always seem to arise from their father's antics.

And when they're together, as fate would sometimes have it, things escalate into volatility and resentment. It all starts when the siblings find themselves back at their father's house for vastly different reasons. What good, one may be inclined to ask, can come of it?

The world is vast -and it's life even more so- but what happens when creatures seen by the world to be little more than a blight by most sapient creatures are taken in as pets; taken in and cared for like one would a do for a lost cat or dog?

The world is cruel, and runts experience this reality starting the moment they are born. One night, a young foal hears the cries of a pup and runs into the forest behind his home to find it and rescue it. This pup though turns out to be a timberwolf runt, abandoned by its pack. However, the little colt doesn't care, and he convinces his parents to allow him to keep it.

Most creatures of Equis see the creatures known as timberwolves as a menace that needs to be controlled. But one pegasus knows otherwise; Forrester. Forrester has the special talent of being able to communicate with and care for any timberwolf he comes in contact with. One day, he comes across an injured timberwolf that's larger than him while exploring the forest near where he lives in an attempt to find out if the rumors he'd heard regarding strange behaviors of the timberwolves that live in there were true. He is able to convince the injured timberwolf to allow him to help heal it. Will Forrester be able to help this strange timberwolf, or better yet, will he be able to gain something he had always been hoping to acquire since he was a colt, his own pet timberwolf?

This "story" will be a collection of stories, all taking place at roughly the same time, and all involving the adoption of timberwolves by creatures of all stripes.

The year was 2134, and the planet went to hell. America and Japan were locked in a large-scale war, neither side backing down. To make matters worse, the EU fell to rising terror threats, and the same said threats killed the last reigning monarch.
That's when IT, landed. Scientists overlooked it at first, believing it to be a comet colliding with earth, but in truth, it was much more sinister.
Whatever they were, they caused an eternal winter to blow across the globe, freezing the Atlantic Ocean in a matter of months.
What remained of the worlds governments came together to find even the smallest glimmer of hope.
Enter project; Horizon, a scientific breakthrough in both cryogenic and rocket technology that would allow us to send a select few away to a new world, one where they could remake the human race from the ground up. The only downside being we could only send 12, and that they needed to be within a specific age group in order to survive the process.
So, with no other options left, we sent them off-planet. God bless their souls.
