Last night, Dusk Shine-favorite student of Prince Helios and newly ascended alicorn-went to bed in a Ponyville where all of his friends were stallions and a major event was about to happen the next day. When he woke up, Dusk Shine had swapped placed with an alicorn mare named Twilight Sparkle. And, all of the friends and ponies that were male in his Ponyville were now female.

But, with the Princes (or is that Princesses?) coming tomorrow, Dusk Shine has no time to figure out what happened or what went wrong. Preparations need to be made and friends need to be consulted to get ready for the event. After all, everything else was just like his Ponyville. Surely it shouldn't be a problem, right?

Right?

Having never seen the wonder that is the circus, a young Twilight is taken by her big brother to have the time of her life.

Twilight and her five friends are transported during a botched spell, across dimensions to... Ponyville, Equestria? But not the same one that they knew. Sitting on a bench is Harpsy and Babar. The Doctoress avoids apples from an aspiring Applebuck. And in a library across town, six stallions join their forces as they try to decipher the appearance of filly look-alikes of themselves around Ponyville!

When Canterlot has to be evacuated for a week Twilight offers her parents a place to stay.
Trouble is, while Twilight is a grown up, independent pony who has saved the world (At least three times) Her parents still treat her like she's a filly.
Her father is going through a mid-life crisis.
And her mother is trying to set her up with every single stallion in Equestria.

This is going to be a LONG week.

What happens when someone who doesn't like My Little Pony ends up in their universe and is stuck there? Basically, a lot of freaking out, swearing, and irresponsible things... Who would have guessed?!

What starts off as my first lucid dream turns into a living nightmare. Everything I thought to know as common sense is thrown out the window. I am now in the body of the white unicorn known as Rarity. How did this happen? Why is this happening?
Of all the worst things that could happen this is… terrible. (I cannot and WILL not use her catchphrase lest I actually become Rarity and lose all sense of myself.)

Edit: Well... after giving it a few re-reads and seeing the little bits of positive feedback, I've decided that I'll try to continue this again when I have time and inclination that overlap each other.

Being Rarity has never been easy, but what could possibly make dealing with flank-pinches, wolf-whistles and constant flirting worse? Being an alcoholic human who inexplicably found himself in the body of an animated horse from a children's cartoon he's never watched, of course.

This chapter was written in two hours with no edits, no reviews and no f***s given whatsoever during a bout of extreme boredom. Based on a concept by Revolver and expanded upon by myself.

Princess Celestia tires of constantly being surrounded by decorum, deference, and formality, and decides to take a day off from being Princess. But visiting Ponyville incognito is harder than she expects. Will she be able to fit in and make friends without blowing her cover?

Suppose you found yourself in a strange body and on an unknown planet, with only a lonely dentist for company. What are you willing to do to get home? How hard would you fight? Does it matter if you're a princess or just a person?
