Good news-I got an extension on the eviction, which puts me about...thirty seven days out from having to move out of here.

Bad news-the new apartment hunt has been eating up everything that can remotely be called free time.

Better news-Dawn of Dusk Shine's next chapter, Festival...I figured out the gag to make it work. It's all about timing, location, and scrolls.

The next chapters? Festival, Exchange, and Epilogue. The ending, so far, is happy with a touch of bitter, sort of like a good dark chocolate. And, it leaves options open for future stories.

The range of an excuse is zero meters.

The Celestia chapter of "The Dawn of Dusk Shine" has taken me much longer to write than I care to think about.

It's been restarted at least twice, revised at least three times, and I'm stuck at this one spot that might mean restart #3.

Add to that personal problems in my life. I might be moving for a new job, if the job will pay enough. If not, I'm still looking for new employment from where I am currently now.

Inception is the Princess Luna chapter. Expect dream logic and Princess Luna somehow working the line of "You musn't be afraid to dream large" in somehow.

The next chapters in The Dawn Of Dusk Shine, "Agápe", is at the editors now.

The story has been coming out very, very fast...and, I'm very proud with how it's been coming out and where it's going.

That, and Dusk Shine is just so very fascinating to write for...

It's a very interesting chapter. It's where Dusk Shine meets Cadence and Shining Armor, and a lot of neat discussions take place.

There are at least three discussions, and they'll cover a number of issues that people have brought up in previous chapters. Not the least of which is the stallion/mare ratio in Dusk Shine's Equestria. I've given some hints in Confections, but this will be the one where I dive deeper into the subject matter.

Oh, and Cadence has The Talk.

The next chapter in "The Dawn of Dusk Shine"-Confections-is ready to go and ready to be shared.

The only thing I'm waiting on is Taranth to finish his Rarity chapter for "One Of Those Days" and we're good to go.

Ran to 6600 words once it was edited, and I'm very happy with it.

Next chapter (to be finished when Taranth writes his Rarity chapter to One Of Those Days) is the Pinkie Pie chapter, titled Confections. It's the Pinkie Pie chapter, and I promise she won't uncurl from the roof like a xenomorph, going, "Hhhhhiiiiiiiii" in a hissing tone...

...is off to the editors and pre-readers.

Clocked in at about 5500 words, and roughly 2/3rds of it is in second person perspective.

Hopefully, it'll all work out.

I'm of two minds. Right now, I'm writing the next chapter. It's motivation, fuel...

But, still...a thousand people plus is a scary thing to impress.

More writing, and more work.

I'm now starting to worry that I will either have Rainbow Bob or John Perry read the story...and review it in their own unique style.

The suspense is terrible.
