Ok, so here I am in Equestria, AWESOME! Living the dream my fellow bronies! The minor problem? Instead of the ponies in the show the inhabitants are all anthro versions of themselves. Good news? Twilight and her friends are willing to give me a benefit of a doubt. Bad news? Celestia and Luna despise me, the reason for that? I was brought to Equestria as one of the awesome ones in video game villain history, complete with triforce of power and immense dark magic, the powerhouse, ganondorf! As a result of our first meeting, I wound up petrified for 1500 years, thankfully I figured out a way to keep myself from going insane. But now that I am awake, I have one goal.... "Twilight? What does this symbol here say?"

A confrontation with a strange merchant lands Dark Souls fan, Revan Eckley, in a world of technicolor equines as none other than Ornstein the Dragonslayer, the very character she had cosplayed as! Now she must set out into this ancient Equestria, and face whatever horrors that she comes across. Her arrival could not have been better timed, as it seems dragons are ravaging this land, and the Dragonslayer must rise again.

Hello there, my name is Thomas Cutler. I used to be human, but after a chance meeting what I understand to be a God decided to lift me out of my life and drop me into an amazing world I never thought existed.

The catch is, I am no longer human, but instead a spriggan. Also, I have to play an unexplained part in some kind of game, my role in which is supposed to become clear in time.

I don't know how much time I have, but I get the feeling that testing the patience of a God isn't the greatest idea, so I'd better get to it.

In the depths of Equestria's archives there is a song. A song of a legendary hero, who would keep evil at bay, and rout even the most fiercest foe. Not much is known about this song or it's origin, but when a curious purple unicorn discovers it, she decides to put on a performance for her closest friends and her beloved mentor. Little does she know the power and significance of this song. For better or for worse, this is the Ballad of the Dovakhiin.
