It's official, I have caught the plague known as writer's block. I've gotten maybe 300 words written since I declared the unofficial hiatus over. Yes, I've got it that hard. So, in an attempt to rectify things, I'm sadly going back on hiatus to swap my focus to another (rather similar) story in an attempt to maybe spark my creativity again in regards to Rise of a Dragonslayer. I'm going to start this with how much I hate hospitals. Words can't describe my hatred for them. On to more important news, I have just been discharged from the hospital, and kinda sorta got caught back up with my life! What does this mean for you guys? It means Rise of a Dragonslayer is FINALLY going to get its controversial (In my mind) rewrite that I spoke on last blog post.

So, I've had a problem lately. Specifically, I desperately want to rewrite Rise of a Dragonslayer. I don't want to change the ultimate 'goal' so to speak, or the line of events that occur, rather I want to change how everything that's happened comes about. See, I've had a set of goals and ideas I've wanted to achieve, but the problem is that with the way I've handled things so far, I think what I want to accomplish would take a backseat for so long, it would be utterly unnoticed.

So, a thought occurred to me a while ago, and I felt like putting out a blog about it. If humans supposedly evolved from apes, then would that mean the different pony tribes evolved from horses at some point? I mean, it's something to think about at least. Perhaps they're just beasts of burden? It could even be an insult to call someone a horse rather than a pony.

One thing has been getting to me ever since the Realization chapter of Rise of a Dragonslayer. It's a question of how the universe of the story functions, and ultimately decides what's going to happen. As some of you may know, I have recently rethought some of the elements of the story. Nothing that will affect what's already been written, just what's to come. As well as some of what I've explained in comments, but oh well. Anyways, that said, the next chapter will be a bit slow in coming while I work on finalizing the new thoughts that I've had. Hopefully I'll have it done and published by tomorrow, though I can't gurantee anything.
