Based on the ending to Discord vs Bill on Death Battle. Watch it before reading,

Equestria was in pure chaos, but thanks to Discord, harmony returned. Unfortunately, he did not.

Upon being banished to the moon, Nightmare Moon found that she was able to communicate with Discord, also sealed away as a statue.

The two despise one another, but compared to an endless monotony, even two hated foes would rather talk with one another. Over time, Discord and Nightmare Moon begin to fall in love, right up until tragedy strikes.

One thousand years ago, the princess of Sun was defeated by Discord, who has since ruled over the entirety of Equestria. His royal advisor, Pinkie Pie, help him fighting his most terrible enemy: boredom!
With the anniversary of his reign coming soon, he has an idea to shake things up a bit.
But he is not the only one unsatisfied with the status quo. Hidden from its eyes, some ponies are ready to take action. The celebration might end up much more exciting than Discord thought, after all...

Though the events of Discord are behind them, Twilight still thinks about the spirit of disharmony. Thoughts kept to herself, she realizes that some of the things she does remind her of him...and how she DOES miss him. Thoughts kept to herself, hiding it from her friends and even the princess, Twilight wonders what could have been if they never had turned Discord into stone. Would he still have been trouble? Would he have been someone able to be compatible with in time? Even Twilight wonders if his cotton candy clouds were actually as delicious as they seemed! Here's a story from the unicorn's perspective during many scenes from "Return of Harmony" as well as her opinions after the events.

Twilight for the past few weeks has been questioning herself about how she truly feels about the Lord of Chaos. When she finally realizes her own feelings, it is hard to let Discord know, especially when she has competition with one of her best friends.

When facing Twilight Sparkle, Nightmare Moon was given a choice: redemption or revenge. What if she had chosen the latter? A grim fate awaits Equestria, but in a time of greater strife and conflict, Discord's return is accelerated. While he expected to bring chaos, he did not anticipate that he would end the Longest Night and bring hope and joy back to the land.

Discord struggles to reconcile his nature with his desire for admiration. While Twilight's friends strive to carve a new life in the ever-shifting Equestria, she searches for Celestia, the only one who can bring harmony back to her lands. But Nightmare Moon also seeks her sister in a desperate attempt to find her place in the world. New dangers lurk in the wild and more threaten to fall over Equestria. Nightmare Moon's decision broke the balance of the world. Will Equestria ever turn to peace, or will the spiral of chaos and destruction be the end of everything?

(An alternate history, this story takes the universe established by the canon and explores one possible outcome if Princess Luna had not been redeemed.)

Dr. Scarabew Ballentine(Ponyville's resident Psychotherapist) has time & time again proven to most likely be the best Mental-Health Professional in all of Equestria, but after Discord defeats the Mane 6 in the Hedge Maze, then goes to turn Ponyville into the Chaos Capital of the World, he'll really put her skills to the test, can she solve Discord's problems & convince him to not bring all of Equestria into Eternal Chaos, or will she just end up becoming another one of his chaotic victims, or will something else completely unexpected happen between these two?

As you can tell by the title this story is a "What if..?", meaning that it takes place in an Alternate Reality, so it is Not Canonical with any other story that I or Anyone Else has already created.

Within the Seventh Universe, there are many extraordinary beings that thrive and preform duties none could imagine. One such being is no exception, though he is greatly feared, and rightly so. It comes natural when your job is to destroy worlds to make way for new ones, this being is known as The God of Destruction, Beerus. His power has no rival and he makes the very cosmos quake with utter fear at his name. The fear mostly stems from the fact that Lord Beerus's temper is something to be avoided. To draw his ire is to usher forth certain death, this was learned the day he did battle with the hero of Earth, Goku. But despite the Earth coming close to destruction, Beerus parted ways with the heroes of Earth as an uneasy friend. And since then, he has decided to slumber for three years.

But there is one thing that even a god can do that mortals are known for, sleepwalking. So one can imagine the mild worry and annoyance when Beerus is discovered missing by his keeper, Whis. But the God is not missing, he merely moved his sleeping area. His current bed? The topmost chamber of an ancient castle on a world full of talking Equines. So how well can a world known for it's magic and wonder, house a god known for his temper and penchant for the destruction of worlds? Who knows....but let's find out.
