Twilight's crown has been stolen by a mysterious thief from another world, and she has to go and get it back! But when Discord learns that nobody else can go with her, he decides to give her a secret item containing magical power... just in case she winds up needing it. But when Twilight runs into Discord's human counterpart in the other world, will she regret bringing Discord's magic into the other world?

Reading The Fugitive Draconequus is not be required to read this story, although reading it anyway will provide context to events in this story, and it would also be much appreciated.

Sunset Shimmer has a pretty good life. She has good friends, a nice apartment, she's back in the good graces of most of the student body at Canterlot High, and she has a hotline to the Princess of Friendship back in Equestria.

But Sunset Shimmer has always had a temper. And there are so, so many things that annoy her.

Like FedEx. And crabs. But she's already dealt with those things.

Lately, a lot of the human world's little annoyances, oddities, and even things that have somehow popped up that shouldn't even exist are getting under Sunset's skin.

And she's had enough.

It's time to fight back.

After an accident in his Grandmother's attic, Silver found himself stranded in a world unlike anything he had ever imagined. Finding himself trapped in this new place, he has no choice but to learn to adapt and grow. They finally revealed themselves in the mid 21st century. After hundreds of years of clandestine observation and experimentation, they admitted defeat in their quest to prevent the genetic death of their race. Thus, they gave us their knowledge and technology in the hopes we could avoid their fate. But the gifts came with a responsibility: we had to assume their role in overseeing and protecting the various worlds they had taken under their wing, or in some cases, had outright created as experiments. Amongst these is, of course, Equis, the one experiment world with a full ecosystem complete with non-human sapient natives, and we can't exactly wear a body suit and expect to fit in.

If there's one thing that King Sombra misses most, it's being inside his old Empire. Sadly, both Shining Armor and Princess Cadence currently rule there in his stead.

Chrysalis has a small purple filly named Twilight in her castle, and it looks as if she's going to be adopting her for a long while. Can Twilight's love change her, or even the entire hive?

Only time will tell, though Chrysalis is determined that she could never find something so fuzzy and energetic in any way cute.
