After Rainbow Dash loses a wing in an accident Twilight finds herself to be the only pony capable of restoring it. But can she reconcile the month long treatment with her suppressed feelings for the pegasus?

I wanted to change a lot in this story before submitting it here, but then it took longer than expected and I had other things to take care of. So, after only the most basic revisions, here it is in all its imperfect glory. And in chapter form, too.

Gummy is the best pet in the world! He always listens to me, never moans or complains when I talk too much, and always comes along with me without any resistance. Sure, he isn't much of a talker, but he's a really swell listener. Every day I spend with him is super fantastic!

Yet, Mr. and Mrs. Cake always look sad every time I play with Gummy. Those sillies! Don't they know that Gummy couldn't hurt me even if he wanted to? He's all gums! Duh! Even my friends have been showing "concerns" about my relationship with Gummy.

I don't know why they're being such party poopers all of a sudden!

Rainbow Dash spends her Hearth's Warming alone.

This is a quick one shot I wrote which takes place before What We Lose.

"I think everything is perfectly set today? Yeah. Everything is good. Just gotta get those flowers."

Flowers hold very special meanings in the world of Equestria. Yes, they're food, but they're also symbolic gifts. They have their general meanings, but some flowers hold very special ones for certain people.
For Rainbow Dash, she buys blue bells every year for a special somepony. Someone she knew since birth.

Ever since she could barely talk, Scootaloo has always looked up to and admired Rainbow Dash. Simply seeing the daredevil mare puts stars in her eyes and butterflies in her stomach. Scootaloo wants to be like Rainbow Dash one day, but has convinced herself that she could never be as awesome as somepony like Rainbow Dash. Perhaps the brave pony has some important words for her.

Above and beyond the clouds is where her true place lies. Beyond that place, however, an even more desirable bounty awaits. Rainbow Dash wants to go past her limit; breach her entrapment and explore what lies beyond the sky. She wants to fly higher than anyone, or anything. She doesn't want to stop.

But as we all know, everything has to stop eventually.

Every story has its beginning, every song has a start, and every love has its first date. For Twilight and Dash, this is theirs.

Rainbow Dash isn't bitter about the whole Mare-Do-Well incident. Or at least that's what she tells herself. Either way, she's not going to miss this chance for some harmless revenge pranks, and so she constructs a plan to prank all of her best friends, starting with Twilight Sparkle. All Dash needs is a quill and some paper.
