Sup, the name's Mark. Or was Mark, anyway that's not to important anymore. Just know that while I lived on Earth, I was constantly under pressure to follow the rules and fit a mold that didn't fit well with me. My life was constantly controlled by a system I despised.

Well since getting sucker punched into Equestria by a goddess those days are over. Being the one and only Winged Wolf in the known world is a huge help to being able to make my own rules. I'm finally free to do what I want, when I want, and how I want and that's exactly what I'm planning on doing.

Set in the same universe as The Ballad of Echo the Diamond Dog and Griffin the Griffin.

I did get permission from both Rust and BlackWing to use the same setting as their characters. Go read both of their stories. They're awesome. Reading them is what made me want to write this story in the first place, so if you liked this, you'll fall in love with those stories.

Added the Dark tag just in case. There will be a decent amount of violence later on. Will add character tags as they become important to the story.

Being chosen by a God to act as his champion is pretty cool. Being sent to Equestria, even cooler. I just wish I hadn't pissed off the guy before he told me what I'm supposed to be doing here. My name is Paul O'Brian, and this is my story.

So, this is my first submission to Fimfiction.net, and I chose to start with a Chess Game of the Gods Story. These stories are of great interest to me, so I decided to try one of my own. All events within this story occur during the plot of The ballad of Echo the Diamond Dog and Griffin the Griffin, as well as the other CGotG stories, and all credit for this universe goes to Rust and Blackwing.

After dying in a plane crash a human awakes in ancient Saddle Arabia, as "Coin Smaug" a fan-made version of the terrible dragon from J.R.R. Tolkien's famous book series Lord of the Rings,
Becoming a savior of a kingdom running out of gold, a dark unicorn who wishes to bend all to his command, and then ending up thousands of years into the future after a battle against said dark unicorn??
Hopefully I don't end up turned to stone like everyone else, uh B-Kitty why are you grinning like that?

Attention: Celestia, Luna and Main Six will not be in story until a long time, as OC's and other characters will be used as I do not want the "character and main show characters friends early/instant" as most stories do it and can be annoying.
I am giving OCs and background characters the spotlight.

No alicorn/mary sue OC's are accepted as they have no place here.
Preferably colt/filly characters for story later on.

I felt like I went through a grinder, then a wood chipper. It sucks... And all I have is Pathefinder armor, a DMR, and magnum. I also have Master Chiefs cloak from the Halo 5 trailer... What? Hey, my name is James and everything was going great for me. I had a nice job, great house, loving family and the bestest friends you could have, but it all changed when I went to comic-con dressed as the legendary purple dragon himself, Spyro.

There I was checking out the different booths when a man called 'The Merchant' came literally out of no where and tried to sell me a power crystal from the Spyro games. I hesitated at first, but the price was reasonable so I bought it, but right when I grabbed the crystal I started to feel dizzy and that's when everything went black.

Now here I am stuck on a strange world, not knowing if I am ever going to find a way back home. Did I mention that there are also technicolor ponies that may or may not try to kill me?

"Scales" He said. Daniel really should have been less vague. Now, thanks to a two headed god of choice he met in an internet cafe, he's stuck in Equestria a very unusual form. Oh, scales he got, though. Scales in abundance. Along with killer eyes and venomous fangs. Will he cope with being one of Equestria's deadliest animals? And how will the ponies react to it? I think you know how to find out...

The newest addition to the game leaves Earth with a blast, literally. Now placed in a whole new world how will Jack fare? With murderous dragons and dogs terrorizing this world and other humans running around the place and doing their best to change the world (for the better or the worse is up to you to decide). Armed with nothing more than a bag and some special powers he will set out for the world to travel, but danger always lurks around the corner and Jack will soon learn that dragons and dogs aren't the only things that he should watch out for.

This fic is set in the Rust and BlackWing universe of Chess Game of the Gods.

Getting kidnapped by a black van seems terribly clichéd until it happens to you, and you get thrown into a spiraling course of events, which seem to make no sense and end up in you getting sent over to the middle of Nowhere, Not-even-Earth.

Nathan got caught in this situation, and now he must learn to cope with the fact he isn't home anymore.
