Chapter 11, Nothing's easy is it?
After all of that... I've got plans now... If Celestia can't keep anyone safe from others, and says she does... I will, and she's now on my shit list... Under only two others... Those two get they're own personal hell in my mind.
I continue my walk to Eclipses house, the... I guess foal is still trying to eat my hands, and I'm fuming inside.
This place is supposed to be peaceful... And I find griffins trying, and succeeding, on killing someone... Oh those Griffins have now made a very powerful enemy, who will hunt them down... And show no mercy... Exactly how a Space Marine would say it... No Mercy, No Remorse, No Forgiveness.
I walk through the town which is pretty much empty, since it's the evening, and it's a sleepy town. I go up to Eclipses door and knock, after a few seconds, the door opens and she's standing there, she smiles at me, until she sees what's in my arms.
"What's that?" She asks, to which I'm silent as I walk into her house, she moves aside as I do, and she shuts the door before following me.
"It's a foal Eclipse." She stops as I say that, and she looks at me with wide eyes as I stand in front of her.
"I need you to take care of her... Her mother was killed, and I was to slow to save her." Her eyes widen and she looks to the blanket in my arms, to which I bend down and give her to Eclipse.
"I don't know what she is... But I know she is a foal... She needs someone to take care of her." As I pass the foal to Eclipse, she starts to cry as she leaves my hands, and Eclipse is quick to try and calm her down, but to no avail.
I only sigh as I get up and get ready to leave
"Wait!" I stop and look back to Eclipse
"I was wondering... You look really tired, and I wanted to know if you wanted to stay the night?" She looks at me with a hopeful look on her face, and after a few seconds, I sigh.
"Fine... Only because I really need to sleep."
Her eyes light up like the sun, and the foal stops crying and starts to laugh, weird child...
"Oh! I'll get some blankets and pillows! Wait... Are you hungry? I'll go make you something." I raise my hand but she just gives me the foal and walks off, I look down at the foal, and she just smiles at me.
-1 hour later-
I'm now just sitting in a recliner... And god it's huge! I mean, seriously! Why the hell does she need this big of one?! It is literally able to hold me and the weight of my armor, yes, I am still wearing my armor... It doesn't feel right to take off.
She did give me some salad which was probably the only thing I've eaten for awhile, and now I have a blanket covering me and my armor... I think she forgot I'm wearing armor, she just had this... Look on her face, I don't know, she looked... Very very happy for some reason, well I ain't gonna say anything cause that's how I get into awkward situations.
She went to bed a little while ago, the foal fell asleep, I need to think of a name to give her... Something nice... And I'm actually really tired, so I'm probably about to nod off... Well, dreamless sleep here I come!
I closed my eyes as I thought that, and sleep took me, aw shit, I forgot to check on Acid... Hopefully she isn't upset... I'm just tired and need sleep.
-Dreamscape-
Well... This is new... I'm standing in a field, looking out to a forest, the sky is dark, and the moon and stars are shining... Eh, I still prefer Earths stars, so much better in the right place.
I look up to the sound of flapping, and that's when I see a Dark Blue Alicorn flying towards me, she looks content, that is... Until she looked and saw me, her smile turned into a scowl, and she starts towards me.
Well shit... This isn't going to end well... I just know it.
When she lands a bit of a distance away in front of me, she looks none to happy to see me.
"FOUL BEAST! YOUR KIND HAS TORMENTED ARE SUBJECTS FOR FAR TOO LONG IN THE PAST! YOU WILL REPENT!"
Is she serious? Repent? For what my kind has done?
I start to break out into historical laughter at this, and her scowl turns into a look of confusion, before she scowls again.
"WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT BEAST!?"
"You just- you just expect me to fear you and repent because of things my kind has done, and that you will, what? Throw me into a dungeon or something? Turn me into stone? Hahaha! That's rich! You expect that shit to work on me?"
Her scowl deepens, and she glares at me.
"THIS IS ARE DOMAIN! AND WE SHALL-"
I didn't even give her time to finish as I snap my fingers, and we're now in a metal hallway, she turns and looks around with surprise.
"H-How did you?"
"This is my dream... And I'll do whatever the hell I want!"
That's when a window beside her starts to have banging come from it, she turns to see a man begging her for help.
"PLEASE! Help me!" She raises a hoof to her mouth, then reaches to the window, That's when a Necromorph comes out from behind him and spears him and tears him apart with absolute ease, and she backs up to the other side of the wall, as she watches it look at her, roar, and climb into the vents.
"Wh-What was that?!"
"Oh... Something that's not as worse as some other stuff that I'm gonna show you." She looks over to me with wide eyes, as behind me, and door is torn apart by multiple Necromorphs, and they come charging.
I turn to them and pull out an assault rifle, and open fire upon them, I take only a few down, and they keep coming, relentless in they're frenzy.
I pull out a plasma blade and charge at them, and when I reach them, I lash out, cutting two down, then four, then ten, only to be stabbed in the chest by one, I tear it's arm off, and stab it with its own arm, and then proceed to cut it down. After about a few more seconds of this, I'm eventually overwhelmed and stabbed multiple times until being torn apart.
Her eyes are so wide they may just roll out of her head, she just watched a warrior who could take on armies, be taken down by a horde of Necromorphs, and they then turn they're attention to her, and come charging, she steps back before firing a spell off that only stuns one before it charges again.
That's when I end the scenario and we're both in another metal corridor, she looks at me, and I at her, and she watches as the metal floor under me is torn apart, I look down before whipping out my magnum and opening fire at a Genestealer that grabbed me from underneath, the bullets deflect harmlessly off its carapace, and it drags me down, I fire the entire time, trying to kill it, but to no avail as it then puts a clawed hand on my helmet, and promptly tears off my head with a flick of its wrist, and it drags me the rest of the way down the hole before we both disappear.
She just stares in horror, and looks up and sees a Deathwing Terminator looking at her, he lifts his stormbolter, only to have a Genestealer get onto his back, and start tearing at his armor, he slams it into a wall, killing it, before turning around and being clawed across his helmeted face by another Genestealer, he falls back, dead.
And the Genestealer looks up at Luna, and starts to crawl on the wall to her, and I end the scenario there, and we're now standing in front of a horde of flood, she stares in horror again, and I look to her.
"This Luna... Is what I'm trying to prevent... What my kind was trying to prevent... Until your sister killed them all."
In the midst of the flood, pony looking flood stand around the human, elite, brute, grunt, jackal and all other kinds of flood, there's even a foal who is now one of them.
"This... Is not even the worse... As I said..." The flood charge, and I pull out a SAW and start to mow them down with ease, they keep coming, but keep being cut down before even getting close.
"Luna! I can fight these things with ease! So don't worry! I can handle them!" I yell over the constant fire of my gun, and the howls of rage from the enraged flood.
She only stares in horrified fascination at the abominations, as they're cut down again, and again by my hail of bullets.
"This! This is only the beginning!" I yell to her as I finish off the last of them, and turn to her, and she can only stare off into the distance.
Oh, this is gonna be a great dream!
After waking up, I stretched my arms, and quickly left Eclipses home before she got up, I needed to check up on Serenity, and when I finally made it back to base, she greets me with a simple "Hello" I tell her about what happened with Luna, and she was silent as I went to another terminal and start to type on it.
'Dad?'
'Yes Acid?'
'Why did you do that to Luna?'
'Hey! It's her fault for coming into my head, I just showed her a good time!'
'But... That wasn't very nice!'
I stop typing and just stare at the screen.
'Acid... You have to do mean things to others when they deserve it... She may not have, but she came to my dream and started yelling... I don't take too kindly to that.'
I resume typing, and that's when a file comes up, and Serenity knew I wouldn't be able to understand Forunner so she translated it to human for me, and it says something about another facility... Underneath Canterlot... Fuck...
I stand up and walk over to the armory, and sigh.
"It's gonna be one of those days..."

I think you're mixing Warhammer 40k with Halo a bit much. Not that it's bad. I just think that if your Displaced is from a certain game or source that you should stick fairly close to that game or source. That's just a personal opinion, though. Keep up the good work. I look forward to the infiltration of Canterlot.
Also, my displaced is available if you need/want a powerful ally.
Why not show her something simple and easy to understand. Like the glassing of Reach while telling her the basic history of the war. Then inform her that it's not the worst form of death dealing out there. Then show her the stages of flood infection. Then the Forerunners response of wiping the Galaxy clean of even microbial life to simply starve the flood. It's only eight hours, but that should be plenty of time to show why you do not mess with a Spartan on a mission.
