After losing every semblance of a normal human life, the human-turned pony Silver Script turns to the study of alchemy in hopes of getting her life back on track. From there, she can start making friends and build a life for herself... Hopefully.

The fourth wall protects me from hairspray unlike those idiots.
Speaking of which, is Silver aware of Discord's supposed reform? I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere in the fic.
3507287 I think I mentioned it in one of my more recent chapters, just in passing though.
XD Peeping colts... Nice way to handle them.
As soon as you talked about being taped to the ceiling I was grinning like a cheshire cat xD On my 17'th birthday I asked my friends to tape me to the ceiling so I could pretend I was a spider, DON'T JUDGE ME!
So she's 100% pony now. I'm a little surprised she didn't bemoan or regret, just a little, loosing the last of her humanity. Still, I suspect she might have also been wanting to stop waffling, get the buck off the fence and pick a side to go to for good, human or pony-- rather than the half-life she's been dealing with.
Still. The real question is, where did the unknown pony template come from to fill in the blanks once it purged her "garbage" DNA? What exactly was in that template and what consequences will it have for her in the future? No, I'm not expecting her to pull a Bruce Banner and turn into THE HULK when exposed to gamma rays or get angry. But again, that freeky deeky magic again. What did it do to her poor flank this time.
Actually, now that I think about it. Having her Hulk out would be properly ironic and fully approved by Discord.
3507491 It gave her the ability to have cutie mark... and babies.
3507506And of course she herself went off on her own little mind tangent when it came to that topic. You know, I'm half expecting to have to edit a clop chapter where Blossom turns into a stallion somewhere before this story ends. Knowing you, that may just very well be the case.
You know that moment when one of your favorite stories updates in the middle of the day just before your lunch break? At least we weren't busy so I could spend half an hour lazily reading and eating. I was expecting so much worse from that first scene; falling off the ceiling into all that mess while Twilight Velvet was there felt pretty mild. I was expecting more yelling and screaming from the faculty or Aqua Regia to show.
I would like to say that the first person present tense that you like to use still sounds very weird when I read it.
3508557 She smiles, referring to Beat. Anyway, you're actually a chapter off with the Aqua Regia appearance. Needless to say, the event is going to be a big one.
Edit: Oh, I kinda see what might be wrong with that. Gonna touch that up right now.
3508597
Eh, not really needed. The implication was strong enough to get the message across. It really is the present tense parts that sometimes read strangely.
I think it's only for parts were I'm expecting a past-tense version. For the above quote I would expect it to be:
"Unfortunately for Gale and I, everybody else involved in last night's drunken revelry never showed up."
Because in my mind she's technically describing an event that's already happened (nobody showing up) for our benefit. There are a few of these in every chapter, and in the first story too, so it would be hard to go back and redo every one of them now.
3508750 Would you believe that sometimes I actually narrate things like that to myself when ranting about a past event? "Unfortunately for me, nobody shows up to tell me that school's canceled until I've been sitting in the cafeteria for half an hour." Like that.
Oh god yes. The bathhouse scene. Wait ... there's something missing ... oh! The rest of the bathhouse! Where is the hot steamy stuff in the bathhouse?
I'd like to imagine that there's a fourth colt (a respectable one at that, who Silver will probably never meet), and he picked up on the peepers' behavior and hung out with them to maintain looks, but never actually peeped. And when the HAIRSPRAY ATTACK happened, he just laughed at them before finding the owners and informing them of the hole. He is temporarily deemed a traitor by his male friends, and telling the tale to his female friends earns him more respect from them.
Well, that certainly explains a lot in terms of why Silver originally turned out the way she did. It would be cool, though, like Morphy mentioned, if we get a little soul searching later in regards to that, to explore Silver's individuality and interiority a little bit instead of just having her react to external events.
Glad to see Equestria also has a tradition of playing pranks on blacked out people. I'm relieved there wasn't anything written on/shaved into her.
Run Run Away is a great old song. But yeah, what the hell is it even about?
3510371 Ah, so you caught the Slade one, but what of the others?
I imagine Silver getting turned on by this...
This feels oddly worded.
Towel would usually be plural in this case.
And this is why you don't drink tequila. I have had fun and bad experiences with that stuff.
Gale is a good friend. I like her.
I feel some commas are needed in this one. Though I could just be going crazy.
I fought the law and the, law won.
And cry in shame while playing with yourself.
"help with my". I don't think Blossom is helping Silver's back do anything.
I thought Beat didn't know about that. I thought the only ones in the know were Gale, Dash, and Blossom; in that order.
'Let me sing you the songs of my people!' Did you switch to the black out version due to the newly enforced song rules?
Don't know this one.
Bath houses are rough places. Though I am sure there was ample opening for a "your mom" joke in there. Especially with the whole flashing part.
3511049 The blackout version of the rules? Nah, I just didn't want to write whole scenes of drunken rewrites of human songs. XD
The mare taking names? Johnny Cash - The Man Comes Around.
I'll fix up a few of the things you pointed out.
3511060
It has annoyed me how some authors straight up copy paste entire lyrics, even ones they have made themselves. For me it is a slow point in the story and does not add much. A part that can be mostly skipped.
That's why I didn't recognize the reference. Never much liked Johnny Cash. Any mention of Led Zeppelin or AC/DC I probably would have gotten however.
Glad to point out little things. I see it as me helping to make a story slightly better.
3511142 Yeah. For RIAA reasons, you can't even have actual song lyrics unless parodied or public domain now, so even though Silver sings two songs at that little concert in the next chapter, I'm only actually involving the lyrics of one of them, for emotional reasons.
3511149
I love how so many things have been changed about copy write laws that almost nothing can become public domain now.
So...she can get pregnant now?
Good morning, Ponyville!
I approve of this story, though you already know that. Here's looking forward to Silver x Blossom x adult toy.
3515501 Thanks for being my 999th comment here, Kaidan. Yoinking the 1kth.
Typo. It should be need, not lead.
Damn, Twilight Velvet could have at least let her shower before cleaning. That's just cruel.
Also, I get the same feeling that Nightmare Knight does:3507645 I'll almost be disappointed if it doesn't happen.
Should have used any of that sex changing potion... it there was any left.

Going on what that video explains, on a technical basis, this entire site (or at least numerous parts of it) violate copyright laws.
Now I know it can be argued that the various authors make no money off of these "parodies" and fanworks, thus making them legal. (I'm not 100% sure on the laws regarding parodies and/or fan works. I'm also too lazy to check), I'm still fairly certain that copyright is being violated in a dark alley somewhere.
3549207
I think copywrite should be violated more, the laws go too far and stanch creativity and new content.
3549674
I completely agree.
I can't really not agree as my own story here violates two separate copyrights
3549730
AW YEAH! Stick it to the man! Whoever that man is... stick 'em!
3549738
Of course when I agree that some copyrights should be violated, I mean in the creative sense where no profit or income is generated. (ie: fanworks, like the contents of this site) If income is generated or if it halts income for the original owner, it counts as piracy, which is wrong. (I say this yet I still pirate games. I know its wrong, and I'll often buy the game legitimately later if I actually enjoyed it. It doesn't mean what I did is any less wrong though)
In the case of commissions on a place like DA, one is paying for the artist's time and effort (at least that's how I view it) and often the artist states that (s)he does not own the characters represented. (which in my opinion makes it fanworks)
I have questionable morals
As for sticking it to the man. What adhesive would be best? I personally like Epoxy but it is tricky to work with.
I loved it all so much it was awesome it reminded me some of the movie hangover .And this hole chapter had me LOTF.It was just awesome without a doubt.I can't wait to see what happens next to them and I liked finely knowing not only way Silver was a dorf but how she fixed it.But the puck and piss was nasty and gross I fill sorry for Silver.Epic party's are so unforgiving .I know from experience don't ask .
“Well, there was the one about fighting the law,” Beat comments, flipping her mane out of her eyes. “That was a pretty popular one. Once everypony figured out the chorus, they were pretty into it.
Were they referencing this song...

What the...
oh.
I honestly enjoy the story less now that she's full sized. I feel like that was a core part of her personality.

Same here I really liked that part of her
