YES!!
Good chapter, as always.
There are so many epic things just waiting around the corner, cant wait!!
One mistake i noticed:
I do not what Celestia suspicious about what I am doing.”
what.
I don't know how to describe it, but I love the politics you constantly put in this story. It keeps the whole thing so rich and interesting.
I've never been fan of the political game (who has?) but this makes me want to Wikipedia the whole damn thing now.
i1257.photobucket.com/albums/ii516/Klutzybear/2187822469248781769216847.gif
Hmmm, your whole story makes me feel mixed emotions. Every I see a new chapter, I feel weird, because I know that a new chapter can either mean a super happy me or a super depressed me at the end. This chapter happened to end with a happy me.
Funny stuff...
Luna is best pony, but not in this fic...
1752768
Fixed it.
1752774
Politics are fun, but hardly worth getting into. If you want an easy lite version, I suggest trying out the Wheel of Time books
1752808
It amuses me that I can so easily manipulate emotions. That just makes one of the chapters coming up even more fun.
1752819
I don't know about all that, now. Celestia is clearly best pone.
Am i the only one who thinks that if nav makes a gun he will kneecap Celestia?
1752825
Meh, how else am I going to negate my emotions if I don't do emotional things. It doesn't really matter anyway, everytime I sleep, I get a new blank slate.
Love it.
How often do you update?
1752896 One can only hope... I can't wait for Nav and the dragon to get back together, for the life of me I can't remember her name and its bugging the shit out of me.
Hah! Pranking Luna, fun stuff. Although, what happened with Celestia? Didn't they change her room and such aswell? I guess that will be resolved in a future chapter.
Was nice to see Gilda's father get his ass handed to him by Taya.
So the king wants some human government? Gonna be interesting to see what happens when Celestia finds out, especially if the peacetreaty goes through. Can you say "To the MOOOOOOON Biatch!"?
And the plans for the ship seems to be coming together. Although I can foresee some trouble with the unicorn mare that hates him. Something tells me she might be the one that finally reveals Navs plans, causing the shit to hit the fan.
Anyway, great chapter as always!
1753154 Her name is Kumani
awsome as always my good sir^^
1753153
Not nearly as often as I'd like, but given that my updates are usually pretty large I say it's understandable
1752896
I don't think any handmade gun would be that accurate unless it was less than three or so feet away. The best he can do with it would be to point it at the torso of an enemy and pull the trigger, hoping for the best. The noise and smoke would be enough to scare most people enough for Nav to recover.
1753234
Let's just say that this chapter did a lot of foreshadowing.
1753683
Actually assuming the shot and the barrel is made correctly, it can be surprisingly accurate.
Even smoothbores have greater accuracy than 3 feet.
The reason why rifles (guns that have rifles [grooved] barrels) were not uncommon during the early ages was because of the difficulty of mass producing them. Since he is just making it for himself, it should be relatively fast. (note I did not say easy or simple)
1753744
That's useful to know, but good luck telling him that. Navarone knows how to make guns that can't be made without special gunsmithing tools that he doesn't know how to make. He doesn't know how to make old-fashioned rifles. He could probably tell Celestia or a pony what some of the tools look like and get a reasonable approximation, but then he would have brought guns into that world. He just wants an emergency weapon for himself, he doesn't want to give everyone a gun.
In this chapter, Navi gets hurt. A lot.
As cool as Bloodbeak seems to be we still haven't confirmed or denied if he is a pedophile.
1753770
Honestly? Just making a pneumatic pump 'gun' would help him tremendously over his crossbow with a greater refire rate.
Not to mention the shot would be relatively easy to make and simple: a simple, small spherical ball.
Just think of Metro 2033 weapons. Of course the disadvantage of that would be the pumping times and possible lack of penetration, but that is outweighed by the weight of fire.
Of course he would probably not like that because it would introduce weapons into the world.
What about a simple explosive bolt with different loads? Such as smoke, concussive, shrapnel, caltrops, etc. Of course those are dangerous on their own as they would require contact fuses, ridiculously dangerous. I guess he is better off using regular bombs with those loads. Which he already has, although I'm surprised he made flashbangs on his own. How?
Also how is his crossbow operated? I know it is hand operated, but is it via lever or actually pulling back the string?
I'm asking because there is such thing as a repeating crossbow that the Chinese made that is lever operated and has a 'magazine' of bolts for rapid firing.
Oh fuck this is such a good story. Nav wants to create a pistol huh? Why do I get the feeling its going to be like the one in Assassins Creed 2?
1753895
It's lever operated. And I was planning on getting him a pneumatic weapon like the ones from Metro, but he doesn't know how to make them yet. He will get one, but it'll be a few months. I know there are such things as automatic crossbows, but just because we know there are doesn't mean he knows how to make them. Nav comes from America. He never had to do much research with Medieval weapons. He can get some upgrades later, but as of now he's stuck with what he has.
The flashbang was a container of flash powder lit on fire by sparks hitting cotton drenched with lamp fuel. He took the basic concept of the fire starters the naga gave him so long ago and made a number of those, putting the flint on the pin and the ribbed metal inside of the container. The metal and flint were surrounded by cotton so that when he pulled the flint out quickly enough the cotton would catch fire. That would spread to the flash powder and set the grenade off. You can google how to make flash powder.
He has no desire to put explosives onto a bolt. Yes, they would do damage if they hit the enemy, but that would require a lot of special aiming that he doesn't want to risk in a battlefield situation. Besides, he honestly doesn't get into fights that would require something like what you said, so he wouldn't see the need for it anyway.
1753915
Think more like Pirates of the Caribbean. There's no reason for him to try to hide his pistol since no one will know what the hell it is. It won't be very accurate since he doesn't have any kind of machining or practice with gunsmithing, and there's no pony that does either. It'll basically just be an inaccurate fire and forget emergency weapon.
1753998
If it is lever operated, then most of his work is already done.
All he would need to do is put a box on top of it that contains the bolts.
I have a book here that has a picture.
Of course accuracy will suffer due to the fact that the sights would be unusable... so lets not do that.
Also the ballista he is making for his naga teacher could incorporate metal sheets (read multiple bronze plates) on the 'arch' ( I don't know what it is called) of the weapon to give a bigger punch and range. Of course the recoil will be massive so it may be better to use it as a siege weapon instead of a personal one. Of course since the naga really don't fly, they can afford to have hand-cranked ballistas. Not that hand loaded versions for his size wouldn't hurt, but you dont necessary say no to extra firepower.
Of course Nav may not know that so...
( I just want to have a discussion about weapons and how it will impact this world)
Also: Flashbang design? genius.
1754087
The biggest impact would be whoever can make the weapons quickest on top. Guns are faster and stronger than magic, assuming you can make them accurate enough. Hell, even crossbows would give every other race but the ponies a big advantage. If you ambush a unicorn before he can get a shield up and shoot him in the head before he knows he's under attack, you can take out the rest of his squad with ease. I think in the end the griffins would still lose in an actual war even with guns and crossbows, but the casualties they inflicted would be immense. But if the griffins would ally themselves with other groups and keep the pressure on the ponies, using advanced technology... Let's just say that if the other races could get their shit together they could wipe the ponies off the map. Of course, that raises the question of whether or not they would actually want to do so. That would probably completely wreck the economy, as the ponies are able to use their magic to regulate climates and presumably grow food in some places all year long. There are a bunch of reasons it would be a bad idea, honestly.
But if humans showed up and decided they didn't like the ponies? Celestia and Luna would be dead in an instant. A single sniper team would make sure of that. The princesses would be dead before they realized they were being shot at.
1754228
Well I was wanting to talk about how to reinvent the wheel regarding weaponry.
I already knew the political ramifications regarding what will happen with free-arms development.
All I wanted to talk about is what is possible for Nav to make, if he knows how to make it, and the difficulty of making them in the current technological era.
Also who made him his current metal crossbow after his wooden one broke? If someone else made it for him, then the design for the weapon would be out there somewhere.
1754288
Twilight made the original one based off a description from Nav. Celestia had the second one made from giving the plans Twilight used for the original to actual engineers. So yeah, the plans for the crossbow are out there, but that doesn't mean they would ever be used. I can't imagine ponies would be building weapons that have a trigger they can't pull without using magic.
If Nav really wanted to get down and dirty and into building weapons, he would make a mosin nagant or something like it. Making the actual rifle would be relatively simple, though he would probably have to get a blacksmith to do it. Making the bullets would be impossible. He would need a ton of brass, a way to cast each bullet the same exact way every time, he would need primers, he would need lead, and he would need a way to stamp it all together. He knows how to reload bullets but without the tools to do it he's shit outta luck. And without the ingredients for a bullet he wouldn't be able to make a bullet even if he had the tools. He doesn't know how to make those.
He could make an old Civil War era musket, with a rifled bore and lead balls and filthy gunpowder, but why would he do that when he already has a weapon that's on average more accurate? He doesn't usually fight things that are wearing armor, so there's no reason for a rifle other than to scare the opponents, and you can accomplish that just as easily with a small pistol.
1754388
Interesting. You really put a lot of thought to this. Unlike some authors.
Although unless they adapt the crossbow into something like battle saddles from FO:E (I have no idea how, which makes me ashamed since I'm trying to be an technician), the ponies would not be able to use it. Not to mention reloading problems.
The best the ponies would probably use it for are siege and defense ballistas. Does the ponies in your universe have something like "Magical Runes" and such that they can carve onto the bolts? If not they can still make a 'shotgun' ballista by putting a bunch of tiny (in this case regular) bolts as the 'warhead' of a normal ballista bolt so that it could act as a primitive flak cannon for anti-air and anti-group usage. (Like the Korean Hwachang or something like that).
Not that Nav would actually tell them how to make it.
Also how exactly the physical limitations of the naga? (strength, speed, agility, height, 'buffness', I know they are bad at sneaking)
1754452
They're about six and a half feet tall on average when 'standing.' I imagine they can stretch to around eight if they really wanted to. The men are mostly very strong while the women are more lithe. If you've ever seen a snake move, they're surprisingly fast. The naga are slower since they have an upper body that they prefer to keep above the grass/dirt, but they would still surprise you with how quickly they can move. They aren't nearly as agile as Navarone, but since the naga has so much more training it looks like it for now. They're probably about as strong as actual horses in our world, so they're stronger than the ponies and Nav by a good bit. Their main weaknesses are their honor, their limited numbers, slow breeding rates, cold bloodedness, and relatively primitive technology and medicines.
Battle saddle? That just sounds silly as fuck. Now I'm even more glad I never read FO:E; I've had a few friends try and read it and every one of them said it was horrible. But yeah, you couldn't reload a crossbow as a pony without using magic or clips. Even then, unless it was fully automatic, how would you pull the bolt/lever back?
The ponies don't have magic runes. If they were going to make a shotgun ballista, they'd probably be better off using a catapult loaded with spikes. It would probably be less accurate, though. We already know the ponies know how to make a catapults, but that doesn't mean they would ever use them for war. They also probably couldn't use them that well for anti-air... If they really wanted to do some anti-air stuff they would probably just load unicorns in chariots and the pegasi fly around the sky.
1754529
I think a traditional ballista would be a bit big for them then.
Gear Cranked crossbows would probably not fit their strategram so they would probably be more fitted with siege crossbows: big for humans, perfect size for naga to use.
They would probably have to suffer some sort of catastrophic event for them to dismiss their honor.
I agree on the crossover part. My honest opinion is that it may as well be the original fiction but with different characters. That really doesn't seem original or change the plot a lot. (To Other people reading this: Respect my opinion like you respect the rights of human beings) The battle saddle (from what I can tell) uses the mouth as a trigger mechanism while their using their back legs to trigger the reloading. Obviously this is very advantageous to pegasi as they don't need to worry about footing. But yes the original problems still exist, which result in a admittedly silly idea. At least Kkat tried to make a rationalization of weapons that actually fit the pony body instead of the 'Ponies using weapons made for human hands' deal.
On the catapult thing? I disagree on the anti-air capabilities of that. It will be really useful in anti-ground army usage as it would act as a flechette storm. I still think the ballista with stakes would be a good anti-air weapon, assuming it is on a high enough setting.
I don't know about the chariot thing. I am not able to think of problems of it on the top of my head, but I definitely know there is something wrong with it. But I guess it would be hard to maneuver so it would most likely act as a bomber with multiple turrets and gunports. Not to mention certain blindspots (such as from below)
What are the strategrams and combat tactics of each race?
Should we take this exciting conversation to the messages? I don't want to clutter the comments section with this conversation about warfare tech.
1754639
No reason to move it; I don't get that many comments once the big wave from my update is over.
I know the catapult wouldn't be a good anti-air weapon and that the chariots wouldn't be perfect either. Ballistae would be much better, even if they would be hard to aim in the air.
And you're right about the naga probably being too small for a traditional ballista. Nav wasn't actually going to make one that would be too large for the naga to use; again, he doesn't know much about ancient weapons so he doesn't really know the titles of them all.
For combat... Cats use their speed and natural stealth, using smaller weapons to strike quickly and using less armor for more agility.
Dogs are probably the most versatile of the races, since they have different breeds. They have the common stupid bruiser, which we saw in the Diamond Dog mines. They have the more intelligent squad leaders like the ones leading the groups on the assault of the library. They have smart midget infiltrators, like the dog boss. They have quicker, dirtier fighters like Minnie. No mages, though.
Griffins are lightning strikers. They move in under as much cloud cover as they can before using their natural speed and talons to tear you to shreds. Their hollow bones mean they aren't as good in melee, but against unarmored or ground-oriented troops, they can easily dominate.
Naga are brutal in melee and can launch themselves into the air with their tails. They can't get too high, but it would be enough to surprise the hell out of anyone not expecting it. They pick a weapon and specialize in it, learning its every nuance. Because of this, their steel is made to be incredibly strong so the weapons they grow to depend on don't break.
Unicorns use their magic to attack and defend.
Earth ponies use their hooves as bludgeons. And if you think hooves are weak, try getting kicked by a horse or a deer.
Pegasi use the weather as a weapon, using lightning, rain, snow, and occasionally tornadoes to soften their opponents while the other ponies prepare defenses.
Changelings prefer to avoid open combat as much as possible since they are on average weaker than most races. When they do get dragged into open combat, they use the same tactics they used in the wedding episode: confusion and terror. That will probably be changing now that they have more technology and more food to reignite their lost magic...
In terms of how to fight large scale battles?
Cats and dogs use small squads with several specialized fighters represented in each group. The squads keep together as well as possible to complement each other.
Naga hold down a large battle line and do their best to keep a formation while earning as much glory as possible.
Griffins believe in every griffin for him/herself.
The ponies usually try to keep on the defensive until their enemies are exhausted, since ponies are by nature prey animals. The pegasi use weather to slow the enemy down. Earth ponies and unicorns build up a strong fort or some manner of defensive structure. When the enemy finally arrives, unicorns engage the enemy at a distance until they get close enough and start attacking the actual base. Then the earth ponies storm over the walls and attack in the front. While the enemies are distracted, the pegasi come in from the top and sides, either dropping boulders on them, performing dive-kicks, or hitting them with more lightning when possible.
Changelings fucking zerg rush.
1754823
I was thinking of using Ballista for the towers of a castle. The top of those towers are called turrets so I think you misunderstood me regarding that.
So yeah, for the naga: siege crossbow. Recoil would probably hurt like a bitch for Nav, but naga would be fine and would probably sport better performance due to increased strength.
You know, looking at the battle strategies of the races, I think even the ancient Roman army would have a even footing against them, even though humans are weak. The only ones the Roman army would probably have trouble with are the griffins and ponies due to inability to reliably hit fliers and unicorns. How much resistance/force does a average unicorn shield hold? Can it stop hits from a ballista bolt? Multiple ones?
I got kicked by a cow once. It hurt like a bitch.
Edit: I forgot to mention that maybe if/when the naga get rid of their honor, they could incorporate pavise to their ranged units if they are going to make some.
Edit2: I need to think of brand new strategies for each race, brb.
1754911
And cows don't even have metal shoes made for pain.
And yeah, a Roman army would be able to defeat most of the races relatively easily. Hell, they probably wouldn't have any problems with the ponies until Celestia decided to go onto the field. She may not be able to control the sun, but that doesn't mean she can't throw magic around that would destroy an entire legion. Most of the unicorns in the guard are trained for combat and support, not area of effect. I'm sure the Romans could figure out how to win in the end using superb tactics, but they would take hellish losses when the ponies started getting serious and started putting the unicorns from the unicorn tower into battle.
I imagine the average pony shield could not stop more than one ballista bolt, as long as the bolts were shot quickly enough. They probably couldn't stop a catapult at all. Combined, though, I imagine that they would be able to do more. Shining Armor could probably hold a Roman army off for an hour or so, as long as he didn't have to cover a large area. A place like Canterlot, though? They would lose that in an instant. The Romans wouldn't even be interested in capturing it. They'd use siege weapons to tear it off the side of the mountain.
Someone that isn't me should do a "Roman army in Equestria" story.
1754972
Is it wrong for me to take fascination in war tactics and strategy against fictional characters in a fictional setting?
I don't remember how long it takes for an experience Roman ballista team to reload and fire one, but I think it would take less than a minute?
How quickly can a unicorn recharge a shield to max after getting hit by a ballista bolt?
The Romans would probably also send their sappers that they don't really care about to destroy the central structures underneath Canterlot.
Man... Humans really fuck shit up in this setting don't they?
Someone really should make a Roman Army in Equestria story. It would atleast be interesting although I fear it may be short.
How fast can changelings dig? I guess they can use ambush tactics and make traps such as sinkholes which they can suddenly create by knocking down integral support structures (not the main hive btw, just in the middle of a battlefield)
In fact, most of the races seem to built for guerrilla and hit-n-run tactics.
If naga had the numbers, they could probably emulate the Roman army and be good shocktroopers.
I don't think I can think of new strategies. Not that I'm going to stop.
Also: What are the combat/regular mentalities of the races?
Edit: I just found the wiki article on the Scorpio: the Ballista's more terrifying little cousin. It can shoot a bolt every 15 seconds accurately up to 100 meters with a maximum range of 400 meters. I think I may have underestimated Roman ingenuity just a tad bit.
Edit2: Remember what I said about using multiple stakes on ballista for anti-air? Stone shot would apparently be more effective in regards to availability.
1755051
Oh yeah, if the Romans got here and were able to integrate any of the races here, they would be able to dominate the planet. Naga would be excellent shocktroopers and reinforcements if the line ever started to buckle. Dogs would be excellent for a shield wall, since they're pretty strong. Earth ponies would be good at moving equipment, basically just horses. Griffins and pegasi would be good scouts and if needed they could harry the enemies from above. Changelings would be good spies and they'd be good sappers, as you said. Cats could be the archers or something, though their paws wouldn't be the best at using bows.
Changelings probably wouldn't be able to dig quickly enough to make a difference in an active battle, but if they had prepared the terrain beforehand for a defensive battle they could kick ass. Like that battle in the Narnia movie.
And of course, I think the Romans had pretty good civil rights as well. I would love to see someone writing a story first about the Romans conquering provinces, then dealing with the guerrilla elements that attempted to 'free' their countries, and finally the races settling down when they realize how relatively efficient everything is. Like, imagine Twilight Sparkle as the head of the resistance, with Celestia dead and Luna installed as an unwilling but obedient puppet ruler. Twilight would refuse to believe the Romans could ever be good since they killed Celestia, but as she started losing more and more members of the resistance when they realized the Romans weren't all bad, she'd slowly come to the realization that maybe everything wasn't as perfect as she thought it was. I imagine she'd still fight until her dying breath, but she would be doing it almost alone.
1755103
I kinda hated the Narnia movie because of the battle sequence and several tactical stupidity.
The cats would help cause havoc by going with the changeling and wrecking havok behind enemy lines. Or they could be Frumentarii or spear throwers whose official name I forgot. They are certainly agile and fast enough to probably excel in those roles.
Romans hated the Gauls remember? As long as those other races integrated correctly, the friction would probably turn negligible.
Someone should seriously take that idea and make it into a good fic. That has potential.
1755145
Why don't you do it? You don't seem to have any stories going. Read this, follow it, and write it. I could see that being a nice, long fic. You can just gloss over how a massive Roman army disappeared like that. If you really need something, say the druids cast a spell over the Roman ships as they stormed Britain. Of course, you might want to watch which races you put into your story; naga and cats aren't official races. And we've forgotten all about dragons, though honestly they don't care about the world as long as they have food and gems.
Seriously, you should consider writing it. You seem to have the tactics down and your grammar looks good enough to write a story with. I already have enough on my plate with this monster of a story and a few smaller side projects that I haven't put up on fimfiction.
1755181
Would you believe me that I have a mental problem? Such as memory problems, short periods of lucidness?
Then again those are probably my brain just making excuses to look weak. This will take quite a bit of research on Roman military strategrams, their culture and society down to the primal level to make their "racism" realistic, etc. You just killed me with work. I hope I can find a professor specializing in Roman society at my college to help me with this. Of course since this is military Romans, things would be a bit different. The Romans would acknowledge the integrated races as having their uses, although I don't think they would look favorably on dogs and naga, as they would resemble the Gauls and other barbarians too much.
I think too much.
1755255
You don't have to do it if you don't want to. It was just a suggestion, since you seem interested in it. I don't think any other writer is going to do it. I'd be interested in reading it. Honestly, you can probably get the information you would need from google and wikipedia, because if you find a professor and tell him you want to research the Romans for a My Little Pony fanfic he's going to laugh you out of his office.
1755282
I'm going to tell him/her that I am going to write fiction about the roman army. All I need to know is their SOP and their society. From there on I can think, simulate the most likely outcome and write it out like an after action report/ history book.
Which is what I am not trying to go for.
Dammit.
Edit: This is actually pissing me off.
Sorry to pester you with something silly, but what's with the total lack of anything rated 'M'?
Plenty of easy opertunities, all skipped. Month old chapters that also had spots have still been neglected as well. I'm not saying they are the only reason I read this wonderful work, but it is A reason.
1755302
Laziness and lack of horniness on my part. I keep meaning to do it, but then I don't. I'm planning on going back and filling in some of the clop sections. Things I intend to write: Kat and Nav on the cloud, the threesome with Octavia and Vinyl, hatesex with Gilda, and human Pinkie. Maybe a few more, if I feel like it.
1755297
If it's pissing you off, don't do it. Although honestly, a history book approach to the fights would be relatively interesting, as an overview of the story itself. Sure, the nitty and gritty combat scenes would be cool to write, but a large overview of how things happened would be an easy way to start the story off while you go ahead and start writing the management of the new territories.
1755282
Actually not even fiction, just going to write about the Roman Army for personal notes.
Also the skirmishers that the cats would excel in? Velites
1755302
I'm not really understanding what you are saying, but the reason why there is a M rating is because of the Adult scenes which are in the fic.
Also for him to fix the previous chapters require extensive time. Time which he will have to take away from current chapters.
1755342
I know the feeling. Very well then, carry on.
1755352
He meant why I've been skipping all the porn scenes instead of writing them out.
And yeah, the cats would be pretty good as velites. Write it if you want. I suggest planning it out very thoroughly, since it's already pissing you off. Start at the beginning and take it slow. Where do they arrive, which race do they see first, how does that race react, how do the Romans react. That will set the stage for everything else, because if the Romans immediately murder the shit out of what they see the other races won't spend that much time with any kind of negotiation. And if you're planning on using my world as a basis for your world, note that we haven't seen everything that this planet has to offer yet.
The usual compliments and reflections on the chapter will have to wait. This is a rather interesting conversation you guys are having. Well thought through ideas for the combat strategies and outcomes. I read the rules you wrote up on pastebin, how exactly did that come up for you to write?
1755386
I'm an editor for a series of writefag threads on /mlp/ and I got tired of everyone making the same mistakes. I wrote up a list of stupid mistakes and how to not do them. At the bottom is a list of things that piss me off. Things like alot and defiantly.
Also, I always like when people in the comments tell me I think things out well, since usually the only time I ever think of the things you guys ask me about is when you ask me them, and I come up with explanations on the spot. "Well thought out, mister author. How long did you spend planning this?" "I planned it as I was typing it. So about two or three minutes."
1755425
One of the things that I like about your story is how well you though it through. The events, the cause and effects, the consequences. You make the story come to life and make realistic. Not even some the books I have read can do that.
1755385
I was planning on having a Roman fleet appear like you have suggested on a coast somewhere.
Unfortunately I am unaware of what the coastal cities are and also have been unable to simulate the short and long term reactions of the Roman troops for the attrition rate. When they conquer parts of the land and realize they can't go home, how would they react? Granted they would probably be too disciplined to make much of a ruckus, but they would need to do something to match the Roman Military thought of "A still army is capable of mutiny, A busy one isn't".
Maybe I should instead write a portfolio regarding this for others? It is one thing to make an idea, it is different to execute it.
1755452
Posting the basic idea of a story will inspire others to write it up and to come up with their own versions of it. Like the Fallout spins.
1755468
Where should I put it up though?
1755481
You could try on deviantart, most of the writers post their work there and talk about ideas. You could also make your own group on this cite dedicated to the ideas of stories or suggestions. Some other fan fiction cites. People you know on this site who would like to write it up.
