After living with Nightmare Moon for a while (due to extenuating circumstances), Anon starts to notice a few oddities in her behaviour. Ones he understands all too well, and ones that are fresh on the mind.

In an effort to help her before it gets any worse, he drags her out of Ponyville for a night to talk about life's problems. And maybe cuss out her sister once or twice.

Nightmare Moon was seen like nothing more than a dark tyrant to most of her subjects. But somewhere behind the veil of her darkness, she also felt the need for sympathy, for compassion, for love...

One night a child of unknown species was found in the Royal Gardens of Nightmare Moon's Palace by two of her Royal Guards. They took the child to their Princess to see what they should do.
Nightmare Moon, even though seemed uninterested at first but after she learned some certain facts about him, she decided to keep him, and that's where this unusual story unfolds. Follow the human as he grow up to be the Knight and a Servant to her majesty...

But when Celestia and everypony else recieve her she's skeletally starved, filthy, and very nearly dead. Meanwhile, while everypony's eye is turned, a lusty Blueblood pursues Twilight Sparkle, intent on adding her bloodline to his own so his family might step closer to godhood. After years of exile in Tartarus, Nightmare Moon finds herself back in Equestria, at the request of her sister. Celestia hopes to repair their relationship, but she enlists someone.... unique to guide Nightmare Moon along the path to reformation.

Just a stupid AiE short I came up with, told in first person as Nightmare Moon. Originally, I started out writing it as part of a chapter of Changing Lanes, before spinning off the idea and completely rewriting it as its own story.

Niamh, an introverted student of veterinary science, finds herself transported to a strange world inhabited by ponies. Of course, that means becoming one herself. Now she must prove to the other ponies that she is not the 'Nightmare Moon' they think she is, and earn their trust, while they must earn hers. Especially this 'Princess Luna' character.

But two questions stand out above the rest as being truly important: How did she get there, and why?

During one summer day, Celestia is asked to watch after her sister, while their mother is gone for certain duties. Celestia thinks, this task won't be diffcult at all, but she is completeley wrong. Especially because she loses her sister within the first few hours.
Luna is walking into the Everfree Forest and bumps into a dark mare. This mare, Nightmare Moon, is searching for a host and she definitley had not looked for a cub. But because filly Luna does not want to leave her alone, "Moonie" has to play babysitter within the Everfree Forest.

Speak of the nightmare, and she shall appear.

Celestia and Luna were supposed to enjoy each other on a night alone in the Everfree. However, things go south when they find Luna's old dark self: Nightmare Moon. But, she is different. She wants to be better and wants forgiveness. And Luna, listening to the mare lament, asks herself a question.

Is Nightmare Moon deserving of the forgiveness she asks for?

Takes place three days after the events of Luna Eclipsed.
