In case you are wondering, yes this is the sequel to 'Journey to My Imagination' by DeiStar.

I still can't believe it all started with a family camping trip gone wrong. One moment I was enjoying my time with my parents and brothers, then next thing I knew I was stranded on a world full of magic and mythological creatures. In one day, I went from worrying about the upcoming calculus test to worrying about my next meal. I remember how the only thing keeping me going was the hope that I might find a way home. Little did I know that some deities had other plans in store for me.

I remember all the promises I made, both those kept and betrayed. I remember the friends I made on my little adventure; the same friends I threw away when everything came crashing down. Oh, the memories I made... Oh, the memories I am now forever cursed to remember.

I suppose this is a just punishment. My only regret is that my friends may never hear my side of the story.

What started as a simple match between brothers in a fighting game, a portal appears on the screen of their TV, sucking both of them into equestria and separating them! Canterlot... For centuries, Canterlot was the shining gem of Equestria, the pinnacle of pony society. Now, it’s a reminder, a bleak and monolithic warning to the world. 

Changed by the chemical and technological poisons that plague the mountain, an abomination of nature, I wander the greatest disaster Equestria has ever seen. 

... I will escape eventually, and when I do, I hope my friends still see me as Twilight Sparkle, and not the monster that hides among the ruins. 

When one unbelievable event happens, nothing is considered impossible anymore. For one unfortunate human soul, he must find answers to an unlikely truth to understand just what makes the fictitious, a reality. What is in store for him unfolds one thing at a time, and if he thought it couldn't get any stranger, he might have to rethink his whole life.This misfortune becomes something of an rewarded experience, but this gift can also be his curse.

As for Twilight and Lyra, they are prepared for anything out of the ordinary, ...well almost.
The search for answers is motivated by curiosity and interest that may lead to unpredictable outcomes.

As I wake up, my head aches and my throat burns. Where am I? How did I get here?

Blurry memories of pain and suffering fade in and out as I try to identify my surroundings. There is a vague familiarity to the place but I don't know why.

I begin to ask myself many things. What am I doing here? Where is "here"? Why can't I remember anything? Why can I not even remember my name?

All the same, I can only manage to recall but a few precious memories. Something is very wrong with this place. And my friends—friends whose names I do not even remember—are in terrible danger. Something very bad has happened to this place and everypony in it. My body becomes cold and I am denied every other thought except for one:

I must escape.

Nightfall is over Equestria and the moon shines brightly as Princess Luna protects her subjects. However, a creature comes to Equestria in the night, crash landing inside the Everfree. Its arrival will spark a search for things forgotten and bring terrors into the peaceful land. (Based after Majora's mask) Link finds himself transported to the land of Equestria after saving the world once again, later on in his visit monsters begin appearing near Ponyville. So he must stop them as he finds a way to leave so he can continue his quest for Navi.
