Rarity fianlly sums up the courage to tell Spike that she is too old for him. Spike, depressed by this, takes up her words and then searches for a new love interest out there, but to his surprise it is with somepony that nopony would ever suspect.

((Inspired by Mallajong's Spike's series, who was too busy to make this one "And probably due to his account getting banned yet again..." so I took it up and decided to make it. ))

Through the simple act of bumping into somepony new, Spike will be shown just how far his music can take him. Healing old wounds, finding new friends, and possibly even rekindling an old fire.

All his life, Spike has worked his scales off, sometimes literally. For the mane six, with no gratitude or thanks for what he does. One day, as Spike is about to go and participate in a talent show, all of the mane six dump work on him as they went off to a Wonderbolt show, and once Spike finishes the chores, also helping some of the citizens along the way. He then runs into the mane six who dump MORE work on him and run off to Sugarcube corner, Spike just falls to his knee's and cries.

The next day however, Big Mac calls a meeting with a few of the citizens and brings Spike with him, they all agree to hide Spike and cover him from the mane six, while he goes off to be what he should be doing. Be a kid.

A short year has gone by since the "Vinyl Scratch Incident" and Spike finds himself as single as ever. When an old flame resurfaces however, Spike will be set on winning her heart.

Unfortunately for Spike, old flames aren't the only ones coming back. And when someone once very dear to Spike has a startling revelation, the dragon will have to make a decision that will change everything in his life.

As Spike searches for answers, the drake discovers the true meaning of love in the process.

After the whole princess coronation Twilight denied living in a castle and settled in the Canterlot library. Spike is getting bored of Canterlot and is begging Twilight to move back to Ponyville. But all this changes when a letter from Rarity arrives saying she's moving to Canterlot and opening a new boutique to get more business. But things don't turn out the way he plans to. Will Spike win Rarity's heart, or will be become heart broken?

As the years drew on, Spike's childish heart grew into that of a true adult, longing for the finer things in life; the finest things. He pursues his relationship with Rarity, but all does not go as planned.

Filled with anger and sorrow, Spike and Rarity fall away from one another. In his grief, Spike pursues new interests, and their friendship is in danger of never recovering.

But perhaps the truest words in life are these: you do not know what you had until you have lost it. Jealous and alone, finding no comfort in stallions she once loved, can Rarity reclaim her one chance at true love, before it is too late?

Twilight Sparkle never thought that her parents would get a divorce.

Twilight Sparkle was wrong on both these accounts.

After long consideration, Sunset Shimmer decides to return to Equestria to make amends. Everypony is very skeptical about this but Celestia decides on a test of sorts to see if she truly is sorry. She has to live with Twilight and Spike for 1 year, at the end of that year her fate will be decided by Twilight and Spike.

A HUGE shoutout to Love at Sundown by trahzo. That fic gave me the idea of writing a Spike x Sunset fic.

Spike has been rejected by Rarity after helping her for a very important client and a fashion show. He disappears shortly afterwards, leaving Rarity, Twilight Sparkle, and the rest of the gang saddened by his absence.

It has been three years since that incident, and the girls have gotten past the sadness, but still get together to remember the purple dragon every year. On this day, a new pony comes to Ponyville, and although he knows nothing of what his life was like, helps the group have more fun and fills part of the hole left in their hearts from Spike.
