Haha, I made him call her princess, not cause she's a princess now, but because it's like a childhood nickname for her. My grandpa used to call me princess, and whenever I think of cute little nicknames for people, princess is always the first one to pop into my mind x)

oh I don't see this going well for spike... And the whole Your to young for her spike could be done in complete reverse by spike as in your to old for her... Also I love my family but If I had a crush on someone and my family knew THEN they went and started going out with my crush oh I would punch them in the face and copletely disown them. I hate to sound like a asshole but some things i just couldnt forgive and that would be one of them... especially if I spent YEARS working on getting her to go out with me.
And then Twilight's mom starts dating Celestia or something, just because the universe decided that Twilight Sparkle's life wasn't awkward enough as it was.

Well the problem with Twilight's mom is that there aren't really that many stallions in Twilight's life, (or the series in general, but thats a matter for another day) who aren't her dad or her brother. Neither of which are valid choices for obvious reasons. Also I went with Celestia for not only maximum awkwardness factor for Twilight, but also the hilarious possibility that Celestia just arranges for Velvet to cheat death, so not even the slow decay of time can stop Twilight's embarrassment.
Finally, a story with Spike seeing Night Light as his father.

She knows he knows of spikes feelings for rarity she would see this as a breech of trust that one has so deeply for their family it would seem like a betrayl of the highest amount. AJ and rainbow would most likely also be pissed at Rarity because they just freaking went through all the trouble of explaining how this wouldn't happen for it to happen. It kinda makes me REALLY want to punch someone right now... and I never punch anyone. Never got in a fight at school heck I worked as a Customer Support rep for several companies for 5 years. You would get people cussing you for no reason so you know i can hold my anger in but this guy I don't know why just got under my skin. And its not even that they are doing it together its the fact that they BOTH know spike likes... no loves her. he wouldn't do what he does for her if he didn't. A crush I could see him helping her a little but to the point of Stoping his greed growth for her is point enough how much he cares. But they took his heart and crushed it under both their hooves... which is what I find 100% unforgivable. If this was a fic about velvet and him breaking up and then rarity being there for him it would be ok.. those I understand.
