The following transcripts are of a journal found in Ponyville on April 16th of this year. The last recorded contact with the town had been 3 days prior, on the 13th, when a team under orders from Princess Celestia was sent to look into several missing pony reports in the area. When another group of investigators were sent on the 16th, the town was found deserted. The journal’s owner is believed to be the princess’s personal student, Twilight Sparkle. None of the town’s inhabitants have been located in the weeks since.

In Ponyville General Hospital, there is a filly who remains a permanent resident. Golden Gate has never let that get her down, using her enormous imagination, her Princess Luna plushie and her love of cuddles to get her by. Thankfully, her favorite doctor, Wave Function, has been able to provide hugs and stories by the bucket load, keeping her entertained for such a long time. Yet, she still wishes she could just be a little bit stronger to see a full day without getting tired...

Spike, the dragon assistant of Twilight Sparkle, is confused to find himself in Ponyville General, injured with little recollection of what happened to him. More concerning to him, however, is the memory of his friends Rainbow and Rarity fighting for reasons he cannot remember. As he is due to spend several days laid out in bed on the foals ward, he worries and wonders whether his pals will be okay...

With the help of Dr. Function, the pair meet and together they share adventures, cuddles, and tears as they overcome their adversities to help one another ...

Dr. Wave Function is an original character by CategoricalGrant, used with the permissions granted in the contest.

There’s another wholesome, sweet and sad story that I’d like you all to take a look at. Syn’s story about a little foal with a dream and a janitor’s opportunity to grant it is a fantastic read, please follow this link as the fella made me aware of this contest in the first place so it is only fair you read his as well.

This story made me genuinely weep a little, it reminded me of my closest nan and having to say a bittersweet goodbye.

As a former member of Canterlot's elite law enforcement team, Twilight Sparkle is used to a certain level of responsibility. However, her years of experience are rendered useless by her sudden and unwanted transfer to the sleepy little town of Ponyville. With no other option, she chooses to give into the monotony.

But this all changes when a grisly murder shocks the entire town. As the only member of Ponyville's police force equipped to deal with this sort of thing, Twilight welcomes her first real case in over two years. But she quickly realizes that there is more to this murder than meets the eye. It seems Twilight's past has followed her to Ponyville.

With the help of her loyal assistant Spike, a series of strange clues, and some cryptic notes, Twilight tries to figure out the identity of the pony or ponies who have wrapped her up in their bizarre game.

Equestria is a land of magic and harmony, a peaceful realm ruled by immortal and benevolent monarchs. At what cost is this possible?

Following the discovery of a strange and powerful device, Twilight Sparkle is whisked away to the edges of a land she thought she knew so well. Here, surrounded by ponies whose very existences have been kept secret, she must contend with vicious enemies, hostile allies, and the truth.

Almost a year after what seemed to be the concluding battle in Celestia's great crusade against necromancers, something Mortem believes to be borderline discrimination, he discovers one of Celestia's armies setting up camp just outside his stronghold.

Not wanting to jump to any conclusions or risk angering the very powerful Princess, he concludes a diplomatic solution would be the best way forward. And so, he writes a letter.

Gamer-type fic, inspired by Clicker Heroes

Reincarnation doesn't always go forward in time. Sometimes it goes in a loop, as in the case of Twilight Sparkle. She lives, she fights, she gets allies. Than she dies, improves herself and friends, and occasionally buys something that makes the world a better place. Finally, she is reborn and lose her memory. Rinse and Repeat.

However, with her rising to Alicorn, she has unlocked a few new things that would make her lives easier. The down side? In order to afford these, the world needs a hard reset. The temptation? She could keep her memories.

Soon Twilight Sparkle will see just how much she has done for the land of Equestria over her many lives, and see first hand what it was to start with. Thankfully, with no sarcasm for once, Discord is here to help her build the world back up.
