It seems that every time I leave out one of my shirts, Fluttershy just has to put it on. She knows that ponies don't wear clothes, right?

So what else could this mean?

An idea created due to Flutterpriest's magnum opus, "Fluttershy Wants In Your Pants".

Affection therapy: a new and innovative practice in Equestria wherein the patient/subject is calmed and relaxed through simple displays of platonic affection, such as ear scratches, nose boops, and belly rubs. It's surprisingly effective, and leaves the pony happy and content. The strangest thing, however, is that you, a simple human living in Ponyville, 'invented' this practice completely by accident.

*I wrote this a long time ago, before Every Little Thing She Does aired. The first chapter takes place between No Second Prances and that episode, and I decided to touch it up and release it now as an early Christmas gift to you guys, as a simple piece of cute, platonic fluff. More to come, too, when I find the time and inspiration.

A thousand years has passed since the battle for the day that was later dubbed Nightmare Night.

Most of what took place that night has long since passed into legend; something Equestria's reclusive princess has done little to prevent.

Some say she wishes nothing more than to forget.

Others claim she is waiting.

Only whispers and stories remain. Stories of a lost princess, and the Nightmare she fell fighting.

The truth is far more terrible.

Twilight Sparkle, sole student, and confidante, of Princess Luna, knows nothing of the tragedy that has haunted her mentor for a thousand years. She also knows next to nothing of friendship.

That will soon change.

My name is Ryan Chaser. I am currently the only human living in a world filled with sapient ponies. I have lived in solitude on this world for almost seven years now, and have so far been able to keep my life a secret. Recently, however, it is getting more and more difficult to stay hidden like I have. It's only a matter of time before something happens and my existence is revealed to the world. Though I am not certain of what their reactions will be...

Just a side note, this will follow cannon episodes from the beginning. This story also goes along the assumption that ponies are officially considered "adult" at a much younger age.

We’ve read it all before; human ends up in Equestria, meets ponies, etcetera... but what if it wasn’t the ponies they met and befriended first? What if it was another creature, say... the timber wolves?

After losing his way in the Forest of Dean, Jack Masterson finds himself in the magical world of Equestria with no clue how he can get back. After fleeing from the truly surreal sight of our favourite ponies, he finds himself back in a forest... and this time, he's not alone...

Meanwhile, trouble is brewing in Canterlot as Prince Blueblood works on his latest scheme to ruin the inhabitants of Ponyville. Will he achieve his revenge on the Mane Six, or will he fail yet again?

Not really inspired by anything in particular, so if you see similarities between this and another story, you're probably paranoid, unless I mention any references. Rated teen because the main character, while not based on myself, shares my fondness for swearing occasionally.
EDIT: this story now has a Dark tag, as one of my plot-points took an unexpectedly dark turn. I'm also considering switching it to a Mature content as a later plot-point might get darker still.

Equestria was a world of relative peace and plenty, where the various monsters were, if not subdued, then at least manageable. The ponies and their princesses had things more or less under control. The Riders Of Rohan, the most respected and popular guild in the game, was doing well, even if their founder and guildmaster, Shadowfax, was preparing to log off for the final time. It was Trickster's Day, and April Fool's Day, days on both worlds for pranks and merriment. No one suspected that a well-intentioned mistake would throw everything into chaos, and change the lives of everyone involved forever...

This is the first Chronicle of Rohan, the story of the events leading up to, and following, The Brand New Day. The day when everything ended, and when everything began anew...

A young university student suddenly finds himself thrown from his homework studies into a land filled with more colour than Gears Of War, talking ponies with ridiculously huge eyes, and topped with so many cuddles that it makes Care Bears look like Michael Myers.
