This is the prequel to My Little Pony: Blue Version

After agreeing to help Oak with his latest invention, Red gets sucked into Equestria and now he has to work out how to return home. And being mute isn't going to help.

Well, it appears that me and a bunch of people with varying degrees of friendship with yours truly have been --somehow-- teleported to the one place I never thought I'd see.

Or maybe we were trans-mutated. Transmogrified?

Never mind.

Now, I've got to find the other five people that had to have been thrown in here as well, all the while having to relearn even the most basic bodily functions and commands.

Fun.

Oh, and did I tell you the best part?

We're all Pokémon. Yep, as if being tossed on your rear into an alien world as a strange creature wasn't enough, now we've got to deal with the fact that no one in Equestria knows what the heck we are.

I can feel a headache coming on already.

Hello there. My name's James, and I'm a Metagross.

Yes. A Metagross. As in, the Pokemon.

Myself and five other acquaintances with varying degrees of friendship appeared here in Equestria quite some time ago, having all been transformed into Pokemon for some hereto unknown reason. The process of our reuniting was difficult, and we didn't get a happy ending, but we went our separate ways as friends brought together through extenuating circumstances.

Now, after being woken up from my oh-so comfortable hibernation by one of Princess Celestia's messengers, I find out that there's new, terrifying creatures terrorizing Equestria and even some of the lands beyond. By some of their descriptions, I have an inkling of what they might be.

Guess who's put in charge of cleaning up the mess.

Sigh.

Time to get the gang back together again.

This is a direct sequel to the story A Pokemon Problem. It is highly recommended, albeit not necessary to read that in order to understand this story.

Mewtwo, the strongest being in existence. A creature of unmatched power, a twisted product of science and mad ambition; now free from its former masters, it has only experienced defeat once: by the hands of a young human boy wearing a red hat. In Johto, unnerving rumors of Team Rocket's resurgence bring unrest to the people, and three mysterious beasts roam the land. Meanwhile in Kanto, the legendary birds grow wary, and its ever watchful Gym Leaders are starting to realize not all things are as they may seem.

In Canterlot, Celestia will soon be informed that all the six Element bearers have mysteriously gone missing...
And in Pallet Town, Professor Oak is about to get a call from his grandson about the discovery of a strange, new Pokémon species.

An Absol's life is full of pain and the tragedy of others but for one, Cres, that pain is much closer to heart. After a year and a day spent praying atop Mt. Coronet Cres is finally given the chance to obtain his long sought after Absolution.

However the strange new world he is thrust into is nothing like the one Cres knows and with the threat of never seeing the one he loves most hanging over his head, can this one Absol really find his peace?

Was originally going to be a short story until we realized that it had to be longer.

Twilight Sparkle finds a monster.

Arceus has been imprisoned for many millennia, and in that time he has watched his world fall apart. But once he is finally freed from his prison he decides that to protect his Pokémon, and his family, that he will move the Pokémon, and a few select 'humans' to a world where they might live in peace, Equestria. However, not everyone on this new world shares his view of peace and the very presence of the Pokémon upsests some of the citizens of the world, even some of the ones he brought with aren't too happy with the situation. But a god's will is a strong thing and without his willingness the Pokémon and the citizens of Equestria are going to have to learn to get along, or at least tolerate each other. And there's a slight problem with some of the humans too, well, former humans that is.

Since a lot of people keep aking this I'm gonna put an explanation here. I'm not following any one canon-verse here, I'm making a hodge podge universe with bits from the Manga, Anime, Games, and Movies, as well as some etcetera concerning issues addressed in none of them to great lengths. (Arceus' power is far beyond what he has in the games or movie and this does contain some Pokephilia, which comes from pretty much no canon material ever.)

Applejack thought she was done with Pokemon. Heck, she wished that she was done with Pokemon. After her encounter with Cres the Absol three months ago she thought she would never have to hear the word ‘Pokemon’ ever again aside from Twilight’s new obsession with them. Unfortunately, as everyone knows, things rarely turn out how we’d like them.

Cres thought he’d never have to hear the word ‘Pony’ again outside of Ponyta. Three years have passed since Cres returned from Equestria to be with the one he loves most of all. In that time, he’s grown increasingly confident in both himself, and the life he’s picked. However, when a certain orange mare shows up inside of a Pokeball he begins to question whether or not he can ever catch a break.

Black Market Rarecandy operations, Slowpoke Tail selling, underground fighting rings, she’s seen it all and dealt with it using both the skills of herself, and her Pokemon. However, Abby has a secret. For years now she and her partner Arcanine Kasai have been much closer then regulations would ever allow.

Now upon being thrust into a new world, with a new, much fluffier body, Abby and Kasai are going to have to find a way to continue their old work while coming to grips with a new type of challenge entirely.
