There is a shadow to all of existence, a place that all worlds are shielded from by a thin veil. A Dark Place, where a single presence plots and struggles to consume all creation with its darkness. The author Alan Wake is one who has defeated this Dark Presence, but to save his wife and his world Alan had to remain trapped in the darkness.

Now, through his struggles to return to his wife, Alan has unintentionally released the Darkness and an old villain upon Equestria. To fix the mistake, Alan starts a new story with Twilight Sparkle as the protagonist. Can the unicorn find the strength to face the darkness, or is all of Equestria doomed to be the victim in the dreadful horror story?

Note: Story assumes no preceding knowledge of the game Alan Wake. Written for any MLP:FiM fan to enjoy.

A chilling wind comes to Equestria, provided by a race of pale beings that can freeze anything with a single touch. Herald offers Trixie a chance to learn ancient magic that will truly make her the most powerful unicorn in Equestria, by offering her a book that not even Twilight Sparkle has ever read. But there is a reason Twilight's never read this book, and there is more to Herald than there appears...

All that goes down the drain when Blackwatch makes another retarded scheme to get rid of him and his new daughter, Aria Mercer. Surprisingly, it works. But instead of tearing him and his daughter up in a black hole, it sends them to Equestria. How will Alex deal with the ponies AND his daughter, fangirling all the damn time?

While losing his time in NYC, Spiderman gets in a fight with the narrator, who sends him to Equestria for his insolence. How will he adapt there?
