A story about Minuette "Colgate" Romana putting her life and livelihood back together in a new home in Ponyville with the help of friends she meets along the way, and some old ones she left behind in Canterlot. Colgate is a clock maker and carpenter (hourglass cutie mark, what was I supposed to do?) Berry Punch owns the local bar and has a daughter (Ruby Pinch) whom she adores. Toss in Cheerilee as Berry's frazzled but dedicated sister, Big Macintosh and everyone's favorite Mailmare Ditzy Doo, plus my freaky knowledge of Football, that is "Hoofball" and hopefully the resulting brew will come out tasting nice.

(The story is going to be pretty straightforward, classic cast with as few OC ponies as possible and mostly situational humor and themes like forgiveness and reconciliation, working through problems and building relationships, and relying on your friends when you're in a jam. Probably some romantic themes later on, but nothing over the top or in bad taste. There will be some sad bits too of course, but that's not what the story is about, or what drives the plot. This is a story about beginning again in a new place, and all the hardships and triumphs, laughter and love therein.)

A romance story with Twilight and Trixie, based in a world where Twilight and Trixie are a couple, and get together in secret to go on dates.

Twilight and Rainbow Dash, together? Must be that 'opposites attract' thing. Then again, maybe they have more in common than they're letting on...

Hoofing It - One day, Twilight will learn that reading Daring Do alone won't get Dash to do everything. That day is not today.

Variations on a Theme - How many combinations of Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash can there be? Plenty!

Reluctantly Yours - There's something Rainbow Dash doesn't want to lose, and Twilight refuses to let it go. Will this be the end of the awesomeness that is Dash?

Closer to Home - Giving up one dream to keep another isn't always a bad trade.

Pinfeathers - Dash was all she ever wanted and all she'll never have. Twilight hasn't lost Rainbow Dash, but someone has.

It is said that nothing in life is free, and when your life lacks any foreseeable end, the most precious things come at the highest of costs.

Is it worth it?

Is love worth pain so great that it sinks into madness? Is it worth insanity so intense that it gives way to evil? Is it worth malevolence so destructive that it aims to annihilate an entire civilization?

The answer is hidden like a Rainbow in the dark.

After watching another majestic night, Twilight is told to make a wish because wishing on a star always grants wishes. She refuses. After all, it's only an old pony's tale. Climbing into bed, she has a strange dream, yet little does she know, dreams are the desires and wishes of the heart. Upon her waking, she may just find that the stars are rather lenient in their rules and methods.

What happens when you realize that your feelings for one of your friends aren't quite the same as your feelings for the rest of them? Yes, this is a story about romance, but I'm trying to use it to explore the relationships between the characters and see how they'd really react if romantic feelings ever did crop up, and how such a development would impact the cast as a whole.
