Despite what legends may say, the rise and fall of Nightmare Moon was not decided in a single evening, but over a long year of bitter war between the forces pony sisters. During this time, many stallions were recruited from their homes to fuel the war effort. While they were away, the most common form of communication between the soldiers and their families were letters, sent home only on rare occasions. As a result, mail day was one of the most important times to the home-bound ponies. This is the story of those silent few who manage the home-front.

Elias Bright is a survivor. He has survived the end of the world. He has survived the deaths of his family. He has survived the death of all that he has built. On the run from a past that haunts him to his core, he finds himself in Equestria, a land of tranquility and peace. Elias now has a choice. Does he give up the only life he has known, that of a survivor, and settle with the ponies of Equestria, or will his past deeds come to drag him back into the dark past he has tried to bury?

Atlas awakes, naked and afraid in the Everfree where he gets his bearings. His interactions with ponykind aren't exactly going as planned, but what can you do when they view you as a beast. Easy, be the most amazing fucking human version of Seabiscuit or Lassie that ever lived.

YHaY story setting where humans are treated as more expensive animals (like horses) rather than widespread creatures that fit the role of cattle/dog/cat/etc. Some are still used in bad way, but yeah. Rating and content are subject to change.

Toby was looking forward to a very interesting project for his English class: writing to a complete stranger somewhere in the country to learn about them. However, through some anomaly, his letters make their way to Twilight Sparkle, an alicorn princess in the land of Equestria.

Though confused over how this is possible, Toby and Twilight decide to continue writing to each other, getting to learn all about each other and developing a strong friendship through only their written words.

Inspired by the movie Her as well as a short story I read in middle-school, along with a since-deleted story called Pen Pals by user Justin Daniels.
