Applejack never thought she would end up in a Selection to win Prince Spike's heart much less actually wanting to see if she has a future with the dragon after all! For Spike he is going to have to make a difficult decision if Applejack can't stay after all.

Imagine being able to lift a mountain toss it away as if it weighed nothing. That is a Dragon's True Power. But one is said to be above all dragons. A being said to only to exist in myth: The Divine Dragon. A dragon said to be able to eradicate armies with one puff of their breath weapon. Tear through a wall of diamonds as if it was was paper. And a roar that can make even the mightiest of creature grovel and quiver in fear at the mere sound of it being heard from a great distance away. But now that creature is no longer a myth but truth. It resides in Equestria blissfully unaware of it's true destiny and the nature of it.

Spike has had a lot of extra time since Twilight and Starlight have become busy with their various duties. It's understandable, but he feels rather useless at times.

After taking a trip to the local hospital, Spike starts volunteering to entertain the fillies and colts in the children's wing. Spreading laughs and smiles to children and families who need encouragement is more fulfilling then he could have ever wished.

But, when a certain blonde-maned pegasus with much less fortunate circumstances takes notice of Spike and just how caring he truly is, how will Spike react?

Rarity is designing a dress for Fluttershy and she asks Spike for advice, only this sparks the question about Fillies so it's upto someone to solve the issue once and for all.

During the course of a sleepover at Ponyville Castle, it is revealed that neither Twilight nor any of her friends have ever kissed a stallion. Things quickly get competitive, and soon Spike, the only male within striking distance, is forced to run for his life.

While cleaning the library, Spike comes across a book hidden in Twilight's bed. At first it seems like an ordinary book, but he soon finds out that his longtime friend has been holding some feelings back. But what should Spike do? Should he open his heart to Twilight? Or will he crush her feelings?

Discord never betrayed Equestria for Tirek, aiding in returning the magic to all the drained unicorns. As a result, Celestia deems him ready of a "small" gift: The Archduchy of the Everfree, technically making him the highest noble under the princesses.

Naturally, this shocks everypony, including Discord himself. Now of course his lands will some have some chaotic magic and strange laws in effect, but that doesn't mean he doesn't take the noble thing a little seriously. Why is anypony's guess, but it'll be entertaining to watch.

Celestia was sitting on her throne in her Castle, when she got a letter about Spike. She goes to Ponyville to find out what happened and discoveres a tragic sight that will break her heart.
