Markus Becker is a Hauptmann, or Captain, of the German "Bundeswehr", mechanized Infantry. At least he was, until his armoured car hit an IED and he was sent to Equestria. There he found, that he couldn't move, no matter how hard he tried.
Luckily for him though, there is four-hooved help nearby...

A dark and stormy blizzard over the everfree, a hellish snow storm in a distant city. Crashes of light raining out in both places, and the strange disappearance of one group of people, while another sudden appearance of another group in a distant land. Such a strange thing has happened over the ages of both places, but no one knows why. Well this group is about to find out that stranger things can happen, and not just to them, follow the journey of these stranded souls as they seek to understand the new land they are in, while learning many things, good and bad alike...

He had done it. The giant demon that had masterminded the invasion of Earth was dead, and Hell was in shambles. All that was left was to backtrack through Hell and go home to help rebuild the ruined planet...
But of course, it's never that easy. Just one wrong turn, and he arrives from Hell itself into a land filled with pastel-colored ponies. How will the man who had just destroyed Hell adjust to the sudden peacefulness after all he had been through? And is Hell really destroyed for good?

The system let him down. School's "Zero Tolerance" policy and lackluster enforcement had forced him into a constant state of pain. The legal system abused him when he finally stood up for himself. He's been branded as a violent criminal. Well, he's getting the hell outta-dodge, but not exactly to the place he had in mind. Celestia wants to test her subjects, and he's her "perfect" person for the job.

It seems like so long ago... but I guess in a way it was. Days tend to blur when you are immortal. Entire generations gone in a blink, towns built and rise to become cities, empires, before inevitably falling... But Listen to me ramble, I don't think you came to hear me talk about the futility of most lives. As I was saying, It seems so long ago that My mother took me in, adopted me into her family with my other siblings. We were so happy, But like all good stories, something happened, something that became the catalyst for all future events and tore my new family apart.
