It's graduation day. Sunset watches as her friends make their plans for the future, each having dreams to chase, and college to look forward to. In contrast, Sunset is filled with uncertainty and indecision, unsure of her own path in life.

Can Sunset conquer her insecurities and, with Fluttershy's guidance, find solace?

Sunset Shimmer used to be evil. Like, really really evil. ... maybe high school bully-level evil.

Stuff like that doesn't just go away. Sometimes, the good guys have to get tough to get going, and Sunset's not afraid to mug a few dark lords for their lunch money. They were gonna use that to build death rays or something.

Or at least she would mug them, if not for one minor problem...

Equestria Girls is only tagged because Sunset. This story features only ponies in pony form. This can be considered a Reverie Equestria story, and honestly I shouldn't publish this until after the rest of that, but I don't care anymore.

Once upon a time, Sunset Shimmer was a terrible person. Then a pretty purple princess punched her with a rainbow.

She didn't get better.

Now she's stuck in a redemption story. Only she doesn't want to be redeemed. And it's barely a story. Can Sunset survive this satirical retelling of her rise from the ashes?

Well, she doesn't really have a choice.

This is a parody. If you haven't read the original, read that first. It's marginally better than this.

This story is a sequel to Equestria: A New Generation

Sunset now joined the new generation ponies as she taught them more about the magic of friendship as they enjoyed their time together, while also seeing how much Equestria developed now that the magic and the magic of friendship returned. And now Sunset helps carried on Twilight's legacy now that Equestria needs to recovered what is lost while also trying to figure out how it came to be and what happened to Twilight and her friends while enjoying time with Sunny and her friends along the way.

To keep in mind, this is a side story that takes place after the movie of MLP: A New Generation, but also in between the Make Your Mark series so this story take place between them.

Magic isn’t real. Twilight Sparkle abandoned that fantasy in her childhood, along with nonsense like pony princesses and myths of a monster in the moon. The only thing worth believing in is that which can be proved—scientifically, of course.

But then a series of un-scientific phenomena starts happening at Canterlot High. The magic-obsessed transfer student won’t leave her alone, a vivid nightmare haunts her dreams with increasing intensity, and her benevolent mentor-slash-principal is clearly hiding something big. Everywhere she turns there’s talk and sight of magic; rumours of a thousand-year old prophecy and a monster returning to seek revenge. And worst of all? Twilight finds herself almost willing to believe it.

Almost. Good thing she’s smart enough not to, right?

A little story I used to put my headcanon about how time works between the main series and the Equestria Girls sub-series. It's a discussion of why Sunset is so young despite being older than Princess Twilight, as well as why timeliness don't always match up between the two.

Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle have been together since the end of High School. Of course, that was a hundred years ago! Having found themselves still appearing in their mid-twenties because of Equestrian magic Sunset and Twilight have gone to the ends of the Earth and back trying to experience all that life has to offer. But now with their anniversary approaching Sunset wants to do something extra special for the love of her life. Travel to the one place they have not been, outer space! With the help of their eldest daughter, Sunset and Twilight find themselves on the still under construction L2 space station, but not just for sightseeing. There is trouble afoot and the two ageless women have to find out what is going on before the station falls from the heavens ruining their family's fortune, reputation, and many innocent lives.

An Incarnate side story. Takes place during the prelude time skip in Gods and Monsters

Sunset Shimmer didn't know, but when she finally decided on her destiny, she turned into an Alicorn, and after graduation, Sunset decided to stay in the human world with Twilight Sparkle and Starlight Glimmer, but what she didn't expect was that she was now an Alicorn, with this fact, Sunset Shimmer became a new princess that would be encharged to keep a secure and friendly connection with the human world.

Sunset Shimmer is the daughter of the Sun and the cleverest pony of her age. Yet still she craves more.

For in her sleep and waking hours, Sunset dreams of flight. Every day she longs for the skies she deserved, cursed to be beyond her reach, for it is everything she has ever wanted.

Then along comes a stranger from a faraway land, with rose-coloured wings and love in her heart, and all Sunset wanted to know was how she lived her dream and flew where she could only run.

Meanwhile, Mi Amore Cadenza dreams of a garden wreathed in stardust, with the legacy of a long-forgotten realm shouldered upon her, and her alone...
