Chapter 148: Wild Force
"Now that was a result that I didn't see coming. But in the end, it was Penny herself who was able to secure victory from the clutches of defeat." stated Luna.
"And with that we now have our first competitor who will be advancing into the semi-final round. Now then, let's all take a few minutes to reset everything." mentioned Celestia.
After everybody was given the cue for a break, Isaac then decided to track down the person he wanted to talk with. It didn't take long to find the girl as Isaac saw Penny drinking a bottle of water. He then made his presence known.
"One down, and just two more duels to win. Then it's payback time." said Penny with some bitterness in her tone.
"Payback, huh?" said Isaac as it caused the girl to turn around and look at her professor.
"Teach." said Penny as she addressed Isaac.
"Good match." said Isaac as he was giving the girl her dues.
"You doubted me?!" stated Penny as she threw the empty water bottle to the trashcan that was next to Isaac as she made a perfect basket.
"No. In fact, I knew what your plan was since you summoned your Blackwing - Raikiri the first time. Not bad."
"So what? You knew, shouldn't you be focused on me being the winner of this tournament." replied Penny.
"So, you think you've won already?"
"I told you and everybody else about the spoiler warning that was going to happen. I'm going to win my duel. I'm gonna go to the finals of this tournament, then I win and get my revenge against you for the way you humiliated me in our last encounter." Penny had a set of eyes that were focused as she scanned Isaac. "I've already completed the first step."
"Then, I await you at the winner's circle." said Isaac as he started to walk away. He did stop and turn one last time as he just gave a smile to the teen girl. "I will say, you're a good duelist. Maybe that will help you with your popularity."
"To be honest, it's not something that I'm currently thinking about. Lets say someone told me that a person's popularity doesn't fully explain who a person is. But rather its who you surround yourself with." stated Penny as she remembered her lesson with Sunset.
"Is that right?" said Isaac with a playful smirk. "By the way, I figured out your next lesson and I'll inform Sunset about it." With that Isaac then left the teen girl as she watched her teacher leave, though she did have a small smile on her face.
"Man, did that duel have me on the edge of my seat." said Spike.
"Meow." stated Opal as she licked her paw.
"What are talking about? Of course, Twilight's going to win. I mean, why wouldn't she?" replied Spike to Opal's comment.
"Meow." answered Tigre.
"Yeah, you just want to win the bet, pussy cat." said Spike with a bark. "I mean, come on who wouldn't want to see that duel between Isaac and Twilight?"
The discussion was then put on hold as the rest of the pets all made their respective animal sounds as they began to select who they picked to win. They all then turned their attention back towards the screen as the next duel was about to begin and it was one that both Tigre and Angel Bunny were excited about.
"Now then if everybody is ready we'll now begin the second duel of the quarterfinal round." stated Celestia as everybody in attendance and the remaining competitors turned their attention to the screen behind Isaac.
The computer then began to select the next batch of duelists for the next duel that was about to begin. The remaining six portraits were now flashing fast as the computer generator was starting to wind down as the final outcomes were being calculated. Then it happened, as the two photos of the participants were shown as it showed who would be dueling.
"And the second duel of the quarterfinal round has determined that it will be Amber taking on Fluttershy." informed Luna. "If both participants are ready, then please make your way to the dueling field."
Fluttershy took some deep breaths as she tried to get her mind to calm. Amber took a moment to look at her deck as she began to quickly look it over. Once both girls were ready they then made their way to the arena as they took their positions and looked at each other. Both of them had a small smile on their faces, they both did take a quick glance at Isaac as he just sat back in his throne with his hand to his chin and a straight look on his face.
"Ready?" asked Amber as she slotted in her deck and projected an amber card tray.
"Ready." nodded Fluttershy as she did the same and her duel disk projected a yellow card tray.
"Opponent detected. Streaming data. Duel mode set. Initiating. Commencing duel." said their duel disks.

Turn 1: Amber
"I'll take the first move." said Amber as she drew her card. She quickly looked over her cards as her brain felt like it needed to do its regular routine, but this time she was listening to her heart. "I'll summon my Lunalight Emerald Bird(1200/1000)." Amber then played her card on her tray as out came her monster which was a monster that had green feathers and wingspan as she soared high into the air before landing in front of her owner. "Now when I summon my Lunalight Emerald Bird, I can send 1 'Lunalight' card from my hand to the graveyard so that I can draw one card. So I'll discard my Lunalight Yellow Marten and when she's sent to the graveyard by an effect, I can add 1 'Lunalight' spell or trap from my deck and add it to my hand." Amber then sent her card away as she drew her card and then used her duel disk screen as she saw her options and began to choose which one she wanted. She clicked confirm and her duel disk slotted out her card for her to grab.
"I'll then place one card facedown and end my turn."
Turn 2: Fluttershy
"My draw, to start I'll summon my Nimble Sunfish(1000/100) in defense mode." Fluttershy then placed her card on her tray as a small pond formed in front of her. Soon a figure was jumping out of the water as it was blue and glowed in the sunlight as it landed with a splash.
"Cute, little thing." said Amber as she couldn't help but admire Fluttershy's animal pal.
"Thanks." smiled Fluttershy in her shy voice. "I'll then place one card facedown and end my turn."
Turn 3: Amber
"Then I'm up. And I'll start by playing my spell card, Lunalight Fusion. And with it so that I can fuse together my Lunalight Blue Cat and Lunalight Purple Butterfly in my hand. "By combining the reflexes of a fierce feline with the fluttering fury of a night time huntress, I can create a new lunar legend! I Fusion Summon! Lunalight Cat Dancer(2400/2000)!" Amber now had a monster that was a cat women who wore white garments as her dress was revealed so that it could show off her smooth legs and thighs as it wore a cat mask that had a moon shape as well as wore bracelets on both of her arms. She struck a pose as it showed off her dominance as well as her beauty.
"Uh-oh." said Fluttershy as she was a bit scared. That monster gave Rainbow a tough time, since it can attack twice.
"I'll now move in to attack, first I'll have Lunalight Emerald Bird attack your Nimble Sunfish!" shouted Amber as she gave her monster its command. Emerald Bird then swooped up high into the high and using its wings made a whirlwind attack as it started to blow in Fluttershy's face as she put her hands on her dress to keep it from lifting up. Her monster took the attack as it tried to hold on, but was soon blown off the field.
"Now the effect of my Nimble Sunfish activates, when it's destroyed by battle, I can send one Fish-type monster from my deck to my graveyard and then I can be able to summon another Nimble Sunfish from my deck. And the monster I'm choosing to send to the graveyard is my Nimble Angler." Fluttershy then grabbed the card from her deck as she slid it into the graveyard slot and then clicked on her duel disk screen to activate a couple of effects as she grabbed another Nimble Sunfish from her deck and placed it on her card tray as it appeared in defense mode. "And now the effect of my Nimble Angler activates, since it was sent to the graveyard from my deck, I can select two Level 3 'Nimble' monsters from my deck and special summon them. So I choose a pair of Nimble Beavers(400/100) in defense mode." Two small beavers with twigs in their mouths jumped up from a pool of water that spontaneously appeared at Fluttershy’s feet.
"They're so cute." said Amber as she couldn't contain herself at Fluttershy and her cuddly little animal pals. She was so giddy like that she realized that she was acting like a kid that she quickly recomposed herself. "Anyways... as cute as they are, we're in the middle of combat. So I have to do my responsibility and attack. Lunalight Cat Dancer attack her second Nimble Beaver." stated Amber as her monster looked to take out Fluttershy's beaver.
"I activate my facedown, Beast Soul Swap." Fluttershy then touched her screen and activated her facedown as it appeared and rose up in front of her. "Now I can target 1 beast-type monster that I control and return it to my hand. Then I can special summon a beast-type monster that's the same level as the one I returned to my hand; return to me, Nimble Beaver!" Nimble Beaver glowed and shot away in an orb of white light, the spear piercing the air where it had been. Fluttershy then looked through her hand and once she made her decision, she held her card up high. "Taking the place of my raccoon will be my Mogmole(800/800) who I'll summon in defense mode." A small anthropomorphic mole with goggles and a giant hand drill popped out of the ground, blinking up at the catwomen standing over it.
"Well my attack continues on." stated Amber. Cat Dancer then brought its claws down at Mogmole who screeched and exploded. Soon the ground next to the tunnel Mogmole had drilled shook, and another drill head emerged preceding a familiar pair of goggles.
"Don't think so!" smiled Fluttershy. "See my Mogmole has a special ability, when Mogmole is destroyed in battle I can revive it back in face-up defense position."
"Well then," smiled Amber as she was impressed by the power of Fluttershy's critters, "I'll end my turn."
Turn 4: Fluttershy
"My draw, and I'll summon my Rescue Cat(300/100)." Fluttershy now had another feline appear on her field as it had a military hat on its head as it let out a cute meow. "And now I'll activate the effect of my Rescue Cat, so by sending him to the graveyard, I can special summon two Level 3 or lower Beast-type monsters from my deck but their effects are negated and they're destroyed at the end of the turn." Fluttershy then sent her little kitty to the graveyard as it disappeared into a white light. "And I'll choose to summon my Baby Racoon Ponpoko(800/0) and Baby Racoon Tantan(0/800)." Fluttershy had now replaced her cat with a pair of racoons. One was a small raccoon with a tiny drum strapped to its chest jumped in front of Fluttershy, scratching its ear. The second was a raccoon with a larger vertical drum over its chest rose from the card backing, banging padded drumsticks on its instrument.
"Watch closely! I unite the powers of my two raccoons, to summon a brave new animal guardian!” She then grabbed the card that ejected from the top of her duel disk and then played it on her duel field. “I Xyz Summon Number 64: Ronin Raccoon Sandayu(1000/1000, OLU: 2)!” The red light burst apart, revealing a humanoid raccoon in red samurai armor, its eyes glowing. Two orbs of red light orbited the air around it, trails in their wake. Twin capes of yellow burst from its shoulders to flutter in the air. It reached to its back and pulled out a large polearm, spinning it twice and then pointing it at Amber.
"Not a powerful monster." said Amber.
"Well, I'm not done, cause I'm going to do another Xyz summon." stated Fluttershy.
"You're doing two?" Amber's eyes now widen at what she saw the shy girl was doing.
The two Nimble Beavers turned blue and slid together, then lowered into the water. Fluttershy clasped her hands. "I unite the powers of my beaver and sunfish to call on the spirit of the feline that dwells in the depths. I Xyz summon, come on out Cat Shark(500/500, OLU: 2) in defense mode!" A black and white aquatic monster jumped out from the pool and landed in front of Fluttershy in a spray of water, two orbs of blue light circling it. It stood on a pair of hind paws and waved a pair of front flippers in the air. A fish tail slapped the ground behind it and a cat’s face with whiskers and fur topped its body.
"Been awhile since you've done that play, Fluttershy." said Isaac to himself as the last time he saw the shy girl pull this move out was during the Friendship Games. But he was more so smiling at how Fluttershy was continuing to impress with her skills.
"Now I'll activate Ronin Raccoon Sandayu's special ability." One of the red orbs around the samurai shot across the field and circled Cat Dancer. Red light leaked off of her into the orb. “By detaching one of Ronin Raccoon’s Xyz materials, I can special summon a ‘Kagemusha Raccoon Token’ with attack points equal to the strongest monster on the field. Since your Cat Dancer has 2400, my Kagemusha Raccoon Token(2400/0) now has that same amount.” The orb of light floated back to Ronin Raccoon and grew into a ghostly red samurai raccoon, a katana strapped to its back. "I'll then activate Cat Shark’s effect. By detaching an Xyz Material from it, I can select an Xyz monster I control and double its stats for one turn. I choose Ronin Raccoon which raises him to 2000." One of the blue lights surrounding Cat Shark floated into Ronin Raccoon. It puffed its chest and stood up straighter.
"This doesn't seem good." stated Amber.
"Now to battle, I'll have my Kagemusha Racoon Token take out your Lunalight Cat Dancer." stated Fluttershy.
"Both of our monsters will taken out." said Amber.
The spectral samurai leapt up and slashed with its katana as it fell. Cat Dancer screamed as the katana sliced across her torso in a wave of red light. She then brought her claw up and in a quick movement slashed it across the raccoon as he was sent flying and he too was destroyed.
"I'll now reveal my facedown, Lunalight Reincarnation Dance. Since a monster on my field was destroyed, I can add 2 'Lunalight' monsters from my deck to my hand." Amber then used her duel disk as she selected the monsters she wanted to add to her hand as it slotted out for her to grab.
"Now I'll have my Ronin Raccoon Sandayu attack your Lunalight Emerald Bird." Fluttershy then gave her command as her other raccoon heard its orders from its princess. The samurai charged across the field, the blade of its polearm held out as he made contact with its target.
Amber's Life Points: 7200-
"I'll then end my turn with a facedown."
Turn 5: Amber
"My turn." said Amber as she drew her card and quickly looked at it. I don't remember having this card in my deck, and I would know. Wait a minute, the name? Amber then looked at Isaac who despite not being on the field, he knew what card Amber had drawn. This is one of the cards that Isaac had on that list he gave me on Friday. Well, no time like now to test it out. "Now I play the spell card, Re-Fusion. Now by paying 800 life points, I can be able to revive a Fusion monster from my graveyard. So Cat Dancer is back on the prowl!" stated Amber as she had gotten her monster back.
Amber's Life Points: 6400-
"Then I'll summon my Lunalight White Rabbit(800/800) in defense mode." Out came another female monster as she wore white garments and wielded a white hammer as it rested on her shoulder. "Now the effect of my Lunalight White Rabbit activates, now I can special summon 1 'Lunalight' monster from my graveyard in defense mode. So I choose to bring back my Lunalight Purple Butterfly(1000/1000)." Amber now had another female warrior appear on her field as she wore butterfly wings as on her right eye was in the shape of a moon. "Now I'll activate the other effect of my Lunalight White Rabbit, once per turn, I can target your spell and trap cards and return them back to your hand for each 'Lunalight' monster that I control other than White Rabbit. So your facedown goes straight back to your hand." stated Amber as Fluttershy's facedown turned into a white light as her duel disk ejected her card for her to grab.
"Then I'll activate the effect of my Lunalight Purple Butterfly, so by sending her to the graveyard and I can give another one of my 'Lunalight' monsters an extra 1000 attack points till the end of the turn." stated Amber as her monster disappeared and transferred its power to Lunalight Cat Dancer as her own strength rose to 3400. "Then I'll activate the effect of my Lunalight Cat Dancer, so I'll tribute my Lunalight White Rabbit so that my Cat Dancer can attack all of your monsters twice. Full Moon Mayhem!" shouted Amber. Her monster then leaped high into the air and brought its claws down on Fluttershy's token.
Fluttershy's Life Points: 7000-
"The first attack won't destroy your token, but you'll still take damage. And you'll take more damage this second time." stated Amber as her cat lady then did a few backflips as she landed on her feet and then used her legs as she delivered a kick to Fluttershy's token as it exploded and dealt some more damage.
Fluttershy's Life Points: 6000-
"And now to take out your Ronin Raccoon." said Amber as her monster now its next target in its sight.
"As long as I control another Beast-type monster on my field, Ronin Raccoon can't be destroyed in battle." stated Fluttershy.
"Well, you're still taking heavy damage."
"Not if I activate the special ability of my Cat Shark, I can activate it during either player's turn and so I'll use the last Xyz material attached to it, I'll double the attack points of my Ronin Raccoon until the end of the turn. So now I won't take as much damage." said Fluttershy. Her Cat Shark then ate its last overlay unit as it transferred its power to his fellow comrade as Ronin Raccoon had its attack shoot up to 2000. Ronin Raccoon then raised its blade up as it deflected the attack from Cat Dancer.
Fluttershy's Life Points: 4600-
"Here comes attack #2!" shouted Amber. Cat Dancer then leapt high into the air as she brought her claws down on Ronin Raccoon as she delivered another strike.
Fluttershy's Life Points: 3200-
Cat Dancer then turned her attention towards Fluttershy's two remaining monsters as she took out Cat Shark and Mogmole with ease, but thankfully they were both in defense mode. Soon her mighty cat warrior then leaped back to her mistress' side of the field as she took her position.
"You Mogmole only works for one attack." said Amber.
"My Cat Shark would have survived if it still had an Overlay unit, but I had to do what I needed to reduce the amount of damage I took." informed Fluttershy.
"Smart on your play, give up your Cat Shark's power to not be destroyed in battle in order to keep your life points intact." replied Amber as she found the move Fluttershy made was a genius one. "In that case, I'll end my turn with a facedown."
Turn 6: Fluttershy
"My draw, and so I'll use the ability of my Ronin Raccoon and use its last Xyz material to create another token that has the same attack points as your Cat Dancer." Ronin Raccoon then lifted its sword as the last overlay unit was absorbed into its sword and he plunged it into the ground as he had another ghostly token appear as it had the same stats as Cat Dancer. "Then I summon Trident Warrior(1800/1200) and when this monster is normal summoned, I can also summon one Level 3 from my hand, so take flight Delta Flyer(1500/900)." Fluttershy now had two more monsters join her little herd on the field. "Then Delta Flyer's effect activates which allows me to either increase or decrease a monster's level by 1. So I'll use it to raise my Trident Warrior's level from 4 to 5." Trident Warrior then had its level changed as Fluttershy was now set. "Now I tune my Level 5 Trident Warrior with my Level 3 Delta Flyer!"
Delta Flyer then soared high into the air as he changed into three giant green rings as it circled around Trident Warrior as he jumped in between. "Let the sky open up and now give way to a gleaming beast of electric might! I Synchro Summon, Lightning Tricorn(2800/2000)!" Fluttershy now had a horse appear on her field as its body was colored yellow, blue mane, as well as three horns coming out of the top of its head and along its body. "Now time to attack, Lightning Tricorn attack Cat Dancer!" shouted Fluttershy.
"I reveal my facedown, Cat's Meeow! With this card, I can target my Cat Dancer and send her to the graveyard so that I can replace her with two monsters from my deck and it lets me draw 2 cards from my deck. So Lunalight Blue Cat and Lunalight Purple Butterfly are now in play." Amber's fusion monster then disappeared as it was replaced by Amber's new monsters as they appeared in defense mode as the young girl drew her cards.
"Press on my beast!" shouted Fluttershy as her Lightning Tricorn took out Amber's Lunalight Blue Cat.
"Now the effect of my Lunalight Blue Cat activates, since it was destroyed, I can now summon 1 'Lunalight' monster from my deck, so I'm summoning out another Lunalight Yellow Marten in defense mode." Amber's duel disk then slotted out her card for her to grab as she summoned her monster to the field.
"I'll then have my Kagemusha Raccoon Token attack your Lunalight Purple Butterfly!" Fluttershy's token then leaped high into the air as he did some over the top flips and tricks before he brought his katana down and slashed at its target. "You survived my two attacks and summoned a monster to set you up for your next turn." smiled Fluttershy as she was impressed by how Amber was able to think ahead. "Well, I'll lay two cards facedown and end my turn."
Turn 7: Amber
"It's my turn, I draw. I'll play my Lunalight Perfume so that I can bring back a 'Lunalight' monster from my graveyard, so Cat Dancer is back to play. Then by banish it from play and discarding one card, I can add a 'Lunalight' monster from my deck to my hand." Amber then sent her Lunalight Crimson Fox to the graveyard as she used her duel disk screen to selected the monster she wanted. She made her choice as she clicked confirm and it slid out for her to grab. "Then I'll play the field spell, Fusion Recycling Plant!" Soon the entire field began to change as both duelists found themselves in a recycling plant surrounded by piles of metal and junk.
"Thanks to this field spell, I can discard a card so that I can add a 'Polymerization' from my deck or graveyard. Next, I play Pot of Greed to draw two cards. Then I'll send my Lunalight Yellow Marten to the graveyard." Amber then sent her card away as she had a smile on her face. "Then I'll also discard my Lunalight Black Sheep. So when Lunalight Black Sheep is discarded, I can add a 'Lunalight' monster from my graveyard to my hand. So I'll retrieve one of my Lunalight Purple Butterfly." Amber then had two cards slot out one from her graveyard and one from her deck as she added the two cards to her hand. "Then I summon my Lunalight Kaleido Chick(1400/800)." Out came a girl animal warrior as she spread her tiny arms into a wingspan as she wore a tiny skirt and had her right eye in the shape of a moon.
"Now I'll activate the effect of my Lunalight Kaleido Chick, once per turn, I can a send a monster from my deck or Extra deck to the graveyard and then my Kaleido Chick gains its name. So I'll send another copy of my Cat Dancer so that Kaleido Chick becomes it." Amber's duel disk then opened up her extra compartment that contained all the monsters of her extra deck. She then grabbed the card she wanted as she slotted it into the graveyard slot as her Kaleido Chick now changed in a bright light as it had now taken the form of Cat Dancer.
"I have a feeling that you're not done yet." said Fluttershy as she was a bit terrified by Amber's field.
"Spot on. Cause now I play Polymerization to fuse together my Cat Dancer and Lunalight Purple Butterfly in my hand." Amber then held her cards up high as a vortex appeared behind her as the spirits of her two monsters were shown as they were sucked into the vortex in orange and purple lights. "By combining the reflexes of a fierce feline with the fluttering fury of a night time huntress, I can create a new lunar legend! I Fusion Summon! Now appear, sleek creature of the night, and ready those razor-sharp claws! Lunalight Panther Dancer(2800/2500) is on the prowl!" Amber now had another catlike women appear as this one had dark skin as she wore a purple corset and thigh stockings as she too had a skirt that was open a bit to reveal her legs as she wore rings around her wrists and unsheathed her claws.
"Now time to end this duel, Panther Dancer attack her Ronin Raccoon!" shouted Amber.
"I reveal my facedown, Book of Moon. So now I'll flip my Ronin Raccoon into facedown defense position. And since I control another Beast-type monster, my raccoon can't be destroyed." stated Fluttershy as her monster was tossed around by Panther Dancer as he had a bit of marks on his fur as he was still standing.
"You may have saved yourself from losing this duel. But I'll still attack your other monsters. So Panther Dancer attack her token!" commanded Amber. Panther Dancer then lunged forward as she brought her claws down on Fluttershy's token as she left a mark on the tiny raccoon.
Fluttershy's Life Points: 3000-
"Now time to end that little rodent." said Amber as her monster delivered its second strike and took out Fluttershy's token.
Fluttershy's Life Points: 2800-
"Then it'll attack your Lightning Tricorn! Oh, I forgot to mention that when Panther Dancer destroys a monster in battle, it gains 200 extra attack points until the end phase." Panther Dancer then let out a cry as she felt herself gain more power. Amber then pointed at Fluttershy's horse as her monster then leaped high into the air as she brought her claws down on Tricorn who used his horns to fight back.
Fluttershy's Life Points: 2600-
"And with this second attack, your monster is history." said Amber as her Panther Dancer delivered the final blow to Fluttershy's Lighting Tricorn.
Fluttershy's Life Points: 2400-
"Now I activate Lightning Tricorn's special ability, when it's destroyed I can then either summon Thunder Unicorn or Voltic Bicorn from my Extra Deck to take its place. And I choose my Thunder Unicorn(2200/1800)." Fluttershy then grabbed the card that was being ejected from her duel disk as she placed it on her card tray. Soon from the skies the sound of thunder was heard as rushing down to serve its princess was Thunder Unicorn as it landed with a thud as lightning went off. It then pawed at the ground as it was showing its unbridle courage of not backing down from Amber and her monster.
"Your horse is still weaker than mine." said Amber. "Well, I'll end my turn. Then the effect of my Fusion Recycling Plant activates, once per turn during the end phase, I can target one monster in my graveyard that was used as a fusion material and add it back to my hand. So I'll add back my Lunalight Kaleido Chick." Amber then had her card slotted out for her to grab as she add it to her hand.
Turn 8: Fluttershy
"My turn, I'll play my Card of Sanctity so that we each draw till we're holding six cards in our hand. Then I reveal my Gallis the Star Beast in my hand." Fluttershy then showed off her card as Amber and everyone got to see her monster. "By doing that, I can now send the top card of my deck to the graveyard. Then if the card I sent away was a monster, then you take damage equal to its level by 200. And I can be able to summon my monster, if not then it's destroyed." Fluttershy then put her hand over her deck as she was a bit scared by what she would draw. She then took a deep breath as she drew her card and looked away for a few seconds. Fluttershy then took a peak at the card she drew and released the breath she was holding in. "The monster I drew was my Big Koala and it has a Level of 7, so that means you take 1400 points of damage." stated Fluttershy.
Amber's Life Points: 5000-
"Then I'll special summon my Gallis the Star Beast(800/800) in defense mode. And now I'll activate my Thunder Unicorn's special ability, so now one monster on your side of the field loses 500 attack points till the end of the turn for every non-Thunder Unicorn monster I control, so with my Ronin Raccoon and Gallis the Star Beast, your Lunalight Panther Dancer loses 1000 attack points."
"Not gonna happen, I activate the effect of my Lunalight Crimson Fox from my graveyard, so by banishing her I can negate an ability that targets a 'Lunalight' monster. Then we both gain 1000 life points." Amber's Crimson Fox then appeared in spirit form as she was able to use her powers to provide a barrier that stopped the electricity from touching Panther Dancer.
Amber's Life Points: 6000-
Fluttershy's Life Points: 3400-
"Fine then, I'll take down your Panther Dance by force, cause now I'll play the equip spell Horn of the Unicorn. This gives my monster an extra 700 attack and defense points. So now Thunder Unicorn's attack power increases to 2900. So now my pet take down that Panther Dancer with Super Charger Bolt!" shouted Fluttershy. Thunder Unicorn then lowered its horn and then charged forward as Panther Dancer saw it coming and ready its claws. However, Thunder Unicorn zoomed past Panther Dancer as she felt the slash from the attack as it left a mark on her abdomen as she fell over and exploded into particles.
"I'll then end my turn with a facedown."
Turn 9: Amber
"My turn, and I activate the effect of my Fusion Recycling Plant, so I'll send my Lunar Eclipse to my graveyard so that I can retrieve Polymerization from my graveyard." Amber then sent her card to the graveyard as her duel disk then slotted out her card she desired. "With that the stage is almost set for me to secure my victory. Now I'll summon Lunalight Kaleido Chick once more and then activates its ability, so I'll send another copy of my Lunalight Panther Dancer so that it can become it." Amber's duel disk opened up the Extra Deck compartment as her card slid out for her to grab as she sent it to the graveyard; Kaleido Chick then transformed into Panther Dancer. "Then I'll play the spell card, Polymerization to fuse together my Lunalight Panther Dancer, Lunalight Purple Butterfly and Lunalight Black Sheep." Amber now held all of those cards in hand as she held them up high. Soon the spirits of all three of them appeared as a vortex appeared behind her as they were sucked in and twirled into a color of purple and orange lights. "By combining the precision of a panther, the cunning covertness of a stealthy beast, and the fluttering fury of a nighttime huntress, I can create a new lunar legend! I Fusion Summon! The majestic, the mighty, the masterful Lunalight Leo Dancer(3500/3000)!" Out came another cat women warrior that was just as beautiful and ferocious like the others. She wore a red skirt that was attached to her hip and had gold pieces of armor spread all over her limbs. She wielded a large sword as she gave off a tough look.
"Since I used Lunalight Black Sheep as a fusion material, I can use its effect to add one 'Lunalight' monster from my graveyard to my hand. So I'll return my Lunalight Purple Butterfly, but it won't stay there for long cause I'll then send it back to the graveyard so that my Leo Dancer can gain 1000 extra attack points until the end of the turn." Amber's duel disk then ejected the card for her to grab as she then resent it away to give her monster a power boost as it rose to 4500 attack points. "Now time to attack, Lunalight Leo Dancer attack her Ronin Raccoon Sandayu!" shouted Amber as her monster then leaped into the air as it brought its sword down on the small creature as she blocked with his own weapon as he was pushed back a bit with his paws dragging along the floor.
"My Ronin Raccoon can't be destroyed since I control another beast-type monster." stated Fluttershy.
"I know, which is why I've got Leo Dancer's special ability, after it attacked the first time, it can destroy all of your special summoned monsters. So that means if I destroy your other two beasts, then your Ronin Raccoon's special ability can't save it, but before I activate it, I'll activate this spell from my hand, Feline Cunningness! With this, I can use its power to send one card in my deck to the graveyard, and then my Feline Cunningness than gains that card's power. So I'll send my Lunalight Dance trap card to my grave and then my spell gains its power." Amber's spell then changed its appearance as it now had the portrait of her trap card. "Now since my monster attacked, I can now change the battle positions of all of your monsters and cut their attack and defense points in half until the end of the battle phase."
"Hold on, I reveal my facedown, Beast Burial Ritual. So now I'll destroy my Gallis the Star Beast so that I can draw 2 cards." Fluttershy's monster then transformed into a white light as it shot towards her deck; she then drew her cards as she drew them.
Amber's trap then switched Ronin Raccoon into attack mode while Thunder Unicorn was switched into defense mode. "Fine then, cause I'm still taking out your Thunder Unicorn. And now to use my Leo Dancer's ability." Leo Dancer then unsheathed its sword and brought it down on Thunder Unicorn who countered using his horn as both collided. It worked for a few moments, as Leo Dancer was able to push through and broke Thunder Unicorn's horn as it shattered and was soon taken down with a slash as it exploded.
"Now the effect of my equip spell card activates, since it was sent from the field to the graveyard, it now returns to the top of my deck." Fluttershy's duel disk then ejected her card as she placed it back on top of her deck.
"Either way, it won't help you. Cause Leo Dancer is coming in for the second attack and your monster has been reduced to only 500 attack points. So Lunalight Leo Dancer attack Ronin Raccoon Sandayu!!" shouted Amber. Leo Dancer then swung its sword around and looked to strike down Ronin Raccoon who put his weapon up as he was still on his paws.
"My monster may be gone, but I'm still in this duel. I activate my facedown, Return Damage!" shouted Fluttershy as she touched her duel disk screen as her facedown flipped up. "Now I cancel out any battle damage I would have taken and then the damage is then sent your way." Ronin Raccoon then closed its eyes as he channeled into his aura as he mediated. Leo Dancer then brought its sword down on the tiny animal as it resulted in an explosion. Out from the smokescreen came Ronin Raccoon's spirit as it shot towards Amber who put her arms in an x formation as she blocked the attack as she was pushed a few feet.
Amber's Life Points: 2000-
"Not bad, but you still are defenseless. Not to mention that the next card you draw is your Horn of the Unicorn, which can't help you since you don't have a strong enough monster to take down my Leo Dancer." stated Amber. "Now the other effect of my Fusion Recycling Plant activates and I'll return my Lunalight Black Sheep back to my hand. And with that, I'll end my turn."
Turn 10: Fluttershy
"Well, see about that. Draw." said Fluttershy as she drew her card which as stated was her Horn of the Unicorn. "Seems you forget that during your turn I activated my Beast Burial Ritual which allowed me to draw some extra cards before my Horn of the Unicorn spell card was sent to the top of my deck. And I'll use them right now. Cause now I'll play Polymerization!"
"She's fusion summoning?" said Isaac as he was shocked to learn that Fluttershy kept this secret from him.
"Time to beat you at your own game. I fuse together my Big Koala and Des Kangaroo." Fluttershy then held her cards up high as a vortex behind her appeared. Her two monsters appeared in spirit form next to their princess as they were sucked into the vortex as they twirled into a color of purple and orange lights. "I Fusion Summon, the thunder from down under, Master of Oz(4200/3700)!" shouted Fluttershy. Behind her appeared a huge animal as it landed with a thud and then did a couple of punches as it showed off its fighting style.
"Well, either way it's still not enough to end this duel." stated Amber.
"Which is why I play this, Ayers Rock Sunrise! Now I can special summon one Beast-type monster from my graveyard, so welcome back Thunder Unicorn!" shouted Fluttershy as her beloved horse was back into play as he clawed at the ground. "Then the second effect of my Ayer Rock Sunrise activates, now your Leo Dancer loses 200 extra attack points for every Beast, Winged-Beast, and Plant monster in my graveyard." Fluttershy's duel disk then shined with a bright yellow light as all the spirits of her furry little animals and critters appeared as they stood in front of their princess. All the small creatures surrounded the girl as they nuzzled against her as she couldn't help but laugh, while the bigger ones all stood behind her giving some happy animal sounds. She then turned her attention back to Amber as she stood with a confident look on her face as her animal buddies were standing with their mistress. "The total number is 14 which means Lunalight Leo Dancer loses 1400 attack points dropping it to 2100."
"No!" shouted Amber as she watched her own monster be reduced of its strength.
"Now time to finish this duel! Master of Oz, give that Leo Dancer a one-two KO, end this duel!!!" shouted Fluttershy as she thrusted her arm out. Her monster heard its command as it reeled back its arm and winded it up and soon it let loose a viscous, mean right hook under the chin of Leo Dancer as it was sent flying past Amber who watched her monster collide with the bottom part of the stands as she exploded into particles and the damage was then transferred to Amber who put her arms up as she dropped to her knees.

Kind of odd we don't see Jason's reaction to his loss from the previous chapter.
I see out of the 7 OCs, I feel like he would take his loss the worst.
About the previous chapter(I didn't say this due to forgetting to), regarding about that secret project Sci-Twi is doing I feel like Spike should really be bothered about it and what Sci-Twi did to him regarding it at that intern place some chapters ago, not brushing it off instead. Like I said it felt like its messing up their bond even more.
As for the duel in this chapter, it was pretty good.
Nimble Sunfish is a Fish-type, not a Beast-type. So Beast Soul Swap can't work on it.
The only valid targets Fluttershy has on the field at the moment is her Nimble Beavers.
Mogmole's revival effect can only be used Once Per Duel(as in Fluttershy can't use the effect of any copies of Mogmole for the rest of the duel afterwards), not Once Per Turn.
Nothing contradicted but I suggest you clarify to the readers that Cat Shark's Overlay Units all need to be water-attribute monsters while attached for it to gain the battle immunity.
I checked the rulings for De-Fusion and it can't bring back the fusion materials if the Fusion monster is sent to the graveyard and then revived(due to its no longer a Fusion summoned Fusion monster, losing its link to the materials used for that specific summon), so that ruling applies to this case for Cat Meeow too.
Even then, Purple Butterfly can't be revived like that since it was summoned back from the graveyard and then sent back to there, making it no longer count as a monster sent to the graveyard for a Fusion summon(making it no longer a Fusion Material)
Black Sheep isn't trigger when it gets discarded by a card effect.
When it activates one of its two main effects, it discards itself as a cost to perform that effect.
Kaleido Chick doesn't gain the effects of the Lunalight monster it sends to the Graveyard.
Just only copying its name while its being used for a Fusion Summon that turn.
Panther Dancer's effect to attack all monsters also means she can attack any new monsters too that shows up during the Battle Phase.
So Amber could have had Panther Dancer attack the newly-summoned Thunder Unicorn.
Fluttershy has to wait till the chain resolves in order to activate Beast Burial Ritual. She can't activate it in response to Leo Dancer's effect due to the chain was resolved. So she has to chain the trap to Lunalight Dance or otherwise it will be too late for her to activate Beast Burial Ritual.
