Chapter 132: Running the Gauntlet
What could be said? What started out as a simple day of test evaluations had now drastically shifted. Shining Armor the current world champion of Duel Monsters had just returned from competing in his most recent duel; he had arrived in Canterlot for a few days of rest before he got back to his traveling schedule. During that time, he stopped by Canterlot High as he wanted to see his little sister, but more importantly he was hoping to bump into a certain individual. Shining Armor entered the gymnasium and he was welcomed to the sight of Isaac addressing his new batch of students when he made his presence known. After accepting a request from one of Isaac's students, he was able to show his dominance and display why he was the world champion. The duel ended and now he was met face to face with Isaac as he gave him his request.
"I want to face you in one final duel." said Shining Armor. His response was met with everybody having their jaws drop as they couldn't believe what they had heard. Isaac just stared at Shining Armor. "The dueling community is building a brand new arena here in Canterlot and is expected to finish it by the end of next week. And to commemorate it, they want to have a exhibition match be held. So when my agent team and sponsor brought this to my attention, I immediately said yes. I grew up in this city and I wanted to give something back. They started to run down a list of opponents for me to battle, but I declined them all. I told them that there was only one person who I would take as my opponent. The one person that has managed to beat me in my entire dueling career, the person who pushed me to the limit in my graduation duel. The person who I know deserves to share the field with me, and that individual is you. So... what's your answer?"
"Uh, I don't mean to be rude." shouted Shadow as he made his presence known. "But you're the world champion and if you were able to do that to one of us, how the hell will Isaac fair any better?"
"Yeah, I mean he's Canterlot High's duel champion, but you're the world champion." stated Lucky Star.
"You haven't told them?" said Shining Armor as he leaned in so that only Isaac can hear him.
"I don't want to brag. Besides, it doesn't matter to them." responded Isaac.
"Kids, let me ask you. Do you know why Isaac is the champion of this school?" said Shining Armor as he approached the group.
"Uh, cause he's good." stated Bryant.
"He won a tournament." responded Penny.
"Yes, but's not the real reason."
"Shining Armor, they don't need to know this." said Isaac as he looked at him.
"What are you two talking about?" asked Jason.
"Kids, the reason Isaac is the champion of CHS isn't just because he won some tournament, he's always two steps ahead. He thinks of absolutely everything, from his monsters to his spells to the mental aspect of the game. Truth is he's a master of every strategic element there is to know in dueling." stated Shining Armor as he informed the students while also looking at Isaac who still had a scowl on his face. "See, Isaac doesn't just have great cards, but also the best strategies, too. He's also mastered all the summoning methods."
"Really?" asked Jack.
"Look, Mr. Champion, the fact that Isaac knows how to do all the summoning methods is somewhat believable. It explains why our tutors know about them." said Amber. "But what can Isaac do?"
"Well, answer me this. What decks do your tutor have?" asked Shining Armor.
"Easy, Rarity's got a Crystal Beast." said Amber.
"Fluttershy uses a Beast deck." stated Bryant.
"Predaplants for Applejack." spoke Lucky Star.
"U.A. with a couple of Speedroids." mentioned Jack.
"Spellbook." said Jason.
"Red-Eyes." explained Penny.
"Toons and Madolche." finished off Shadow.
"And what deck does Isaac have?" said Shining Armor.
"We don't know." stated Bryant. "He hasn't shown us."
"Like I said, I don't want to brag." said Isaac as he looked at the group of students. He then unclipped his deck box on his belt and pulled out his signature card as he flipped it over for the kids to see.
"You're kidding?!" said Jason.
"I don't believe it!" shouted Amber.
"You mean... is that... the Dark Magician?" asked Bryant.
Isaac then slid his thumb over his card as he revealed a second card behind it which was his Dark Magician Girl.
"And the Dark Magician Girl?" spoke Lucky Star.
"You see, Isaac is the real deal." said Shining Armor.
"Still I didn't want them to know. I didn't want to distract their attention from their studies." said Isaac as he put his cards away. "Besides, I'm currently busy with other stuff. So I'm sorry Shining Armor, but I'm going to have to decline." Isaac's response was not what everybody was expecting.
"You're kidding?"
"I'm not."
"I thought you said you would take on any challenge? And you won't even answer this?" said Shining Armor as he raised his voice a bit.
"Like I said, I have other things in my life that I'm currently busy with. Not to mention that I'm preparing for my life after I graduate. And I need to finish all of my objectives before it's too late." said Isaac as he started to walk as he was heading for the door.
"So that's it. Seems you really have changed, you took your ball and went home." shouted Shining Armor as it caused everybody to create some mumbles as they knew Shining Armor was calling out Isaac. Isaac just ignored Shining Armor's comment as he kept on walking. "I thought I had someone who can push me to the limit. Someone who actually stands a chance against me and can give me a fun time on the dueling field. In all my 4 years at Crystal Prep, there wasn't a single person who could do that. Yeah, my little sister, but she's family. She's blood. I’m talking about someone who I can hit and they ain't afraid to throw a punch right back." Shining Armor was now getting fired up as Isaac just kept on walking.
"You know maybe it's you whose lost your passion. Maybe you've spent too much time kissing my little sis to know how to do anything else! Here's an idea, why don't you ask Twilight if you get your balls back from her purse? Cause let's be honest you don't wear the pants in this relationship, but you do wear her panties don't you!" said Shining Armor.
"Shining!" shouted Twilight as she approached her brother and grabbed her brother's arm as she couldn't believe he would ever say something like that.
Isaac had heard Shining Armor's comment as he was about to reach for the door handle. He heard the insult that Shining Armor gave him as that seemed to really affect him. He had a sly smile on his face as he slowly turned his head back to look at his rival as he was still angry. The girls and the students saw the look on Isaac's face as they could see he was pissed off. Isaac then marched forward to Shining Armor as he got in the face as both boys were now staring at each other as the look in their eyes sent the message that they wanted to kill each other.
"You know what? That's a hell of an idea." smiled Isaac as he looked at Shining Armor. "It really is. I think I'll do just that. I'll ask Twilight if I can get them back; it's just... there so big. And it's such a burden carrying them around Shining Armor, it really is. It really truly is a burden. I mean you wouldn't know anything about that because let's be honest, you never had a set of balls to begin with anyways." Isaac now fired back with one of his own burn comments as Shining Armor couldn't help but smile and laugh a bit. "At least, that's what Cadance said when she saw mines."
"Isaac!" shouted Twilight as she was now afraid of her brother and boyfriend about to literally throw some fists.
"You know your agency and the writer of this story has done all they can to make you feel special. You got the cool entrance, you got the music, you got the cool effects, you got the girl. You got a loving family and a beautiful daughter; all of this to make you feel special. You know what they do to make me feel special, they say 'Let the freaking duel begin'!!" stated Isaac. Everybody went quiet and had their jaws drop at what they heard. "So, Shining Armor? Congrats, you got your wish. I'll see in a week." said Isaac as Shining Armor was now smiling for Isaac to accept his challenge. Isaac then walked towards the door as he exited the room as Shining Armor was left staring.
The others couldn't believe all that had transpired as they couldn't put into words on what they saw.
"Guys, what did we just see?" asked Sunset.
The next few days came and went as Isaac and the girls continued their one on one sessions with their students as Isaac had implemented set lessons for each pair to study. One day out of the week, Isaac would gather all of the students together in a room and he would go over what each person learned to see if they really paid attention to what the girls were teaching. However, because Isaac was doing this, along with running the store with Mr. Johnson and making sure that the house he and the girls were living in was kept in a clean state, Isaac didn't have much time to duel. And his match with Shining Armor was fast approaching. The girls all noticed this as they tried to talk with their male friend in hopes of getting him to relax and not get too wrapped up in work, but he just brushed it off or simply said he was alright. Even Twilight tried to get him to listen to her as he just said they would discuss it some other time. It seemed that all of this work and business that Isaac had going on in his personal and professional life was starting to affect his mental game and his passion for Duel Monsters. And the girls weren't the only ones to notice this.
"So... if you have Madolche Anjelly and Baaple in your hand along with the spells Mystical Space Typhoon and Madolche Saloon, and the trap Madolche Lesson. What would be the optimal play?" asked Pinkie. She was currently allowing Shadow to practice using her cards so that he could learn about branching off from his usual plays. Seems the boy wasn't paying attention as he was looking out of the window.
"Hey, silly? What's going on?" asked Pinkie.
"Huh, sorry Ms. Pie." said Shadow.
"That's alright, what's going on in that delicate brain of yours?"
"Well, believe it or not, it has to deal with Isaac."
"Big bro?"
"Again, why do you call him that? You're not related." stated Shadow.
"But he's always willing to help out others. Not to mention he'll do anything to make sure that everybody has a happy ending, even if it means that he has to give up his." informed Pinkie. "But that's not the clear recipe. You're worried about what happened with him and Shining Armor." Seems Pinkie had hit the cherry on top as she could tell based on Shadow's expression that it was what the young boy was thinking. However, he wasn't the only one as all the others students and the girls were having the same conversation at the same exact moment.
"Just how does he stand a chance against the world champion?" asked Amber as she was with Rarity in another room.
"I mean he beat me with ease." mentioned Jason to Twilight.
"I don't doubt his skills given he's earned the rank as champion." mentioned Bryant to Fluttershy.
"Sure he has the Dark Magician, but compared to Blue-Eyes it basically a mismatch." said Lucky Star to Applejack.
"Not to mention that the champ has an Egyptian God card." said Penny to Sunset.
"Does Isaac know what he's getting into?" spoke Jack to Rainbow Dash.
"You all think that Isaac will lose?" asked the girls in unison despite them not being in the same room.
"Yes?" said the students in unison as the girls without realizing the others had said the same thing.
"I wish I could answer that." said Twilight as she looked at her student. She then clutched her necklace that Isaac had given him as she approached the window and looked out of it.
"Isaac's an individual who does things his own way." spoke Sunset.
"He's cunning." said Rainbow.
"He's crafty." said Fluttershy.
"He's the definition of grit." stated Rarity.
"Ever since he was little, all he thought about was Duel Monsters and worked hard to achieve that dream." stated Applejack.
"He's been inspired by the legends of Duel Monsters and hopes to one day become just like his idol." said Pinkie as she sat down next to Shadow. "And I believe he can make that dream a reality."
"Still, does he stand a chance?" asked the students as they looked at their mentors.
The girls all smiled as they showed some videos of Isaac taking on Shining Armor during the Friendship Games and how the duel ended in a tie. The students were shocked to find out that these two had actually faced each other before. They were even more shocked to find out that their next duel had come during Shining Armor's graduation duel in which both competitors had just went back and forth as they laid some heavy shots against each other. The ending was very poetic as Isaac had somehow managed to dig deep and be able to win the duel against Shining Armor. But both boys were tired as they beat the hell out of each other. Regardless it seemed the students had a bit of hope that Isaac could handle Shining Armor, but given that Isaac had other stuff on his mind, it started to translate to the students and the girls that his dueling skills were starting to show some ring rust.
One day, Isaac exited his final class for the day as he started to make his way to the classroom for his lessons with all the students. He entered the classroom and found that not a single one of them was there which really made him scratch his head.
"Looks like I'll have to doc them for being tardy." said Isaac as he approached the teacher's desk.
Just as he was about to put his backpack down, he noticed a note that was on the table as he picked it up and read it. It was addressed to him as it was from Twilight as all it said was they needed to talk and that it was urgent. Isaac knew not to keep Twilight waiting as he grabbed his backpack and started to make his way to the gymnasium. Once he got there, he was surprised to see that nobody was there, not even Twilight.
"Did I just get punked?" asked Isaac. Soon the doors behind Isaac closed as out emerged the 7 students as they all surrounded Isaac in a circle as he was in the middle.
"Told you it would work. All you got to do is mention his girlfriend's name and he'll come running like an obedient dog." said Lucky Star.
"What are you all doing?" asked Isaac.
"It's obvious." said Shadow as he slid on a duel disk which the others all did the same as they combined together.
"We're here to duel you." said Amber.
"You're joking?" smiled Isaac.
"Does it look like we're joking?" asked Jason.
"Trust me when I say this kids, you don't want this." stated Isaac.
"I think we do." mentioned Bryant.
"I see." said Isaac as he realized what the kids were doing. "Again this is your last warning. You don't want this smoke." said Isaac as he put his backpack next to him on the ground as he pulled out his duel disk and turned it on to activate a gold card tray. "You all still have alot to learn. I advise you all to put your duel disks down and walk away. You should be practicing your lessons with the girls."
"Yeah, we're gonna take a raincheck on that." said Jack. "We're not leaving till you defeat all of us."
"Besides, we all want to see if you're really all that based on what our tutors say." mentioned Penny.
Isaac had his eyes closed as he took a deep breath, then he opened them and in a quick sequence of movements. Isaac pulled out his deck and slotted it in as the autoshuffler kicked in and then the lights went out for a just a second as Isaac was nowhere to be seen when the lights came on. The students were shocked by what they saw as they couldn't believe what happened. Soon they heard a sound coming from the bleachers as there was Isaac as he was in a half kneeling position as he had his right elbow on the knee that was being bent. Isaac had a smirk smile on his face as the others looked at him from down below. Soon he jumped down and landed like a superhero as it caused the students to take a step back.
"So... who's first?" asked Isaac in a deep, serious tone as he raised his duel disk.
The students all looked at each other as they were intimated by Isaac's presence. They were starting to slowly regret their decision on trapping Isaac with themselves, but they knew not to back down. Soon a person stepped forward.
"I'll volunteer." said Bryant as he took initiative.
"It's time to duel!!" shouted Isaac as it made soundwaves that caused the students to be scared when they heard Isaac say that line. Almost like it was giving him power.
"Opponent detected. Streaming data. Duel mode set. Initiating. Commencing duel." said their duel disks. "Gauntlet mode activated."
Bryant's Life Points: 8000-
Isaac's Life Points: 8000-
"Take the first move." shouted Isaac.
Turn 1: Bryant
"Very well, I draw." said Bryant as he drew his card. "I'll summon Performapal Friendonkey(1600/600) in attack mode." said Bryant as his monster came out as it had some saddle bags on him. "Then my monster's effect activates, when it's summoned, I can special summon one Level 4 or below 'Performapal' monster from my hand or graveyard. So I choose to summon my Performapal Hip Hippo(800/800)." Soon another animal came out as it was a hippo as it had a top hat.
"Next, I'll activate the continuous spell card, Bubble Barrier. With it, once per turn, all my 'Performapal' monsters can't be destroyed by battle or card effects and I take no damage from any attacks that involve them. Now I'll lay a facedown and end my turn."
Turn 2: Isaac
"My turn, so watch out!" said Isaac as he drew his card which caused a wind to generate as it caused all the students to cover up. Bryant, you may have the same deck as another person I know. But you clearly don't have his skills, at least not right now. "Now I'll summon Breaker the Magical Warrior." said Isaac as he played one of his most famous opening plays. "Then I'll equip him with Bound Wand to raise his attack even more." said Isaac as his warrior rose to 2300. "Next, Breaker's ability activates, so I'll get rid of his spell counter so that I can destroy one spell/trap. And I choose your Bubble Barrier." said Isaac as Breaker pointed his sword and took out the kid's card as he lost some power.
"Not good. But I'll activate my facedown, Command Performance. Now until the next turn, I'll shift your Breaker into defense mode." said Bryant as his facedown flipped up and caused Isaac's monster to kneel.
"Interesting. Then I'll just lay a facedown and end my turn." smiled Isaac.
Turn 3: Bryant
So far, so good. I've been able to stop Isaac from attacking, just got to keep on the pressure. "My draw, now I'll play the spell Performapal Recasting, so now I reveal all the 'Performapals' monsters in my hand and then shuffle them back into my deck, then I get to draw that many cards plus an extra one." Bryant's hand was then projected as out of the 3 remaining cards in his hand, two of them were Performapals. "So I'll shuffled back Performapal Flip Hippo and Performapal Thunderhino to my deck and draw 3 new cards." Bryant then did that as he pulled out his deck and then began to manually shuffle it as he slotted it back into his duel disk. He then drew his cards as he looked away for a bit before taking a glance. "Alright, just what I need. Now since I control 2 or more 'Performapal' cards, I can summon my Performapal Elephammer(2600/1800) from my hand without tributing." Out came an elephant as its nose was a hammer and let out a trumpet noise.
"Then since I summon my Elephammer, I can summon my Performapal Helpprincess(1200/1200) from my hand. Lastly, I'll tribute my Performapal Hip Hippo so that I can special summon my Performapal Sleight Hand Magician(2500/2000)!" said Bryant. "Next, up I'll play the spell card, Performapal Hurricane. With I'm going to blow away your entire field, cause thanks to this I can return one of your cards for each 'Performapal' on my field." Soon a giant hurricane appeared as it caused Isaac's monster and his facedown to reappear in his hand but he wasn't worried at all. Now he had 4 monsters on his field and Isaac was wide open.
Isaac looked at the monsters on Bryant's field as he just had a calm look on his face. Seems like he knew this would happen and to be honest, he wasn't worried.
"Now since you've got nothing to protect you, time for me to win this duel! Performapal Elephammer, let's start with you and lead the charge!" shouted Bryant as his elephant started to stomp its way towards Isaac as his other monsters followed. Soon they approached Isaac as he hadn't moved an itch.
"You're gonna have to do better than that! I discard Swift Scarecrow to negate the attack and end your battle phase!" said Isaac. Soon his monster appeared as it caused all of Bryant's monsters to halt as they were sacred by the look Isaac's monster had given them as they ran over back to his side. Isaac just smiled as he twisted his neck as he prepared to himself for his turn.
"Was not expecting that." said Bryant as he was now scared at how Isaac just brushed off his attack and stopped all of his momentum with just a single card. "I... end my turn." At least I have field full of monsters, so my life points are safe.
Turn 4: Isaac
"Let's have some fun." chuckled Isaac as he drew his card. "I play Dark Magic Veil so that I can summon my Magician of Dark Illusion at the cost of 1000 life points." said Isaac.
Isaac's Life Points: 7000-
"Now I'll play my Card Destruction. So now we must discard our entire hand and restart." smiled Isaac as he was the only one who the spell affected as he sent all of his cards away and drew a new hand. "And now the other effect of my Magician of Dark Illusion activates, since I activated a spell while he was face-up, I can now bring back my Dark Magician from the grave. But I'm not done, cause next I activate Bond Between Teacher and Student so now I also summon Dark Magician Girl!" shouted Isaac as he now had his two ace magicians as Bryant and the others students were now terrified of Isaac. "Now thanks to my spell, it allows to set my Dark Magic Twin Burst, but I'll use it right now to raise my Dark Magician's attack points by that of Dark Magician Girl. Then I'll play Dark Burning Attack and with it, I'll wipe your entire field!" Isaac's Dark Magician Girl then put raised her wand as it created a huge burst of energy as she casted some powerful magic as Bryant's entire field of monsters was gone like that.
"Time to end this, I'll switch my Magician of Dark Illusion to attack mode and now finish this duel!!" shouted Isaac as his monsters were given their command and with one attack they took out Bryant as he was sent flying and onto his back.
"Oh no!" shouted all the other students as they saw their fellow classmate fly by them and land on the ground.
Bryant's Life Points: 0-
"Who's next?" asked Isaac.
"I'm up." shouted Lucky Star.
Soon Isaac's duel disk then shuffled his cards back as he redrew his hand in a matter of seconds as he was all set.
Lucky Star's Life Points: 8000-

Turn 1: Lucky Star
"Let's see how you do against me." stated the girl as she drew her card. "To start, I'll play the continuous spell card Alluring Mirror Split. Now when a 'Harpie Lady' or 'Harpie Lady Sisters' are destroyed in battle, I can summon 1 'Harpie' monster from my deck. Next I'll summon Harpie Lady 1(1300/1400) and thanks to her effect all Wind monsters gain 300 extra attack points. But it won't stop there, cause I'll also play Cyber Shield and give my Harpie 500 more attack points." Soon Lucky Star's Harpie Lady now shot up to 2100 attack points.
"I'll place one card facedown and end my turn."
Turn 2: Isaac
"I'm up, so stand back!" shouted Isaac as he drew his card. "I'll play a monster in defense mode and then I'll discard a card from my hand so that I can special summon my Apprentice Illusion Magician." said Isaac as he had a female teen spellcaster appear on his side of the field as she looked at her master and they did a quick high five before she took her position. "Now her effect activates which allows me to add 'Dark Magician' to my hand."
"Already?" shouted Lucky Star as she was surprised that Isaac was able to add his ace monster to his hand in just his first turn.
"Just how many cards does Isaac have that allow him to get his magician?" asked Jason as he and the other students were surprised by how the many ways Isaac could summon his signature monster.
"I'll then lay a facedown and call it a turn."
Turn 3: Lucky Star
"I'm- I'm not scared, watch." shouted Lucky Star as she drew her card as her hands trembled a bit. "I'll play my field spell, Harpies Hunting Ground. Thanks to this my 'Harpie' monsters get even stronger, 200 points stronger. Now I summon Harpy Lady 3(1300/1400). And it along with the rest of my monsters get 200 more points." Lucky Star's new monster then got the extra boost from its comrade and the field spell as it shot up to 1800 attack points. "Furthermore, since I summoned a 'Harpie Lady', I can destroy 1 spell/trap on the field, so say goodbye to your facedown." Lucky Star then got rid of Isaac's card he set as it was destroyed.
"Thank you." smiled Isaac.
"Thank you?!" shouted the other students.
"What do you mean?" asked Lucky Star.
"The card you just destroyed, was my Chaos Scepter Blast. And since it was destroyed while in my spell/trap card zone, I can now special summon my Dark Magician of Chaos!" Isaac had just turned the tables on the students once more as he now had a powerful monster on his side of the field and it wasn't even his turn. "Thanks to my magician's effect, I can add a spell card back to my hand." Isaac's duel disk then slotted the card he sent away during his turn as he added it to his hand.
"You... doesn't matter. I can still attack your other monsters. So Harpy Lady 1 take out his Apprentice Illusion Magician." shouted Lucky Star as her monster flew high and took out Isaac's teen girl magician.
Isaac's Life Points: 7700-
"And Harpy Lady 3 take out his defense monster." shouted Lucky Star as her other took flight and slashed away at Isaac's set monster but it still remained.
"You triggered another trap. The monster you attack was my Marshmallon. Now since it was facedown when you attack it, you take 1000 points of direct damage. And my monster can't be destroyed in battle." stated Isaac.
Lucky Star's Life Points: 7000-
"How did he plan all that?!" asked Shadow.
"He thought 12 steps ahead." Amber was astonished by how tactical Isaac was.
"I'll end my turn."
Turn 4: Isaac
"My draw, now I'll play Pot of Greed this allows me to draw two more cards. Now I'll play Mystical Space Typhoon and destroy your field spell." said Isaac. "Now I'll play my Premature Burial, so I pay 800 life points to raise my Apprentice Illusion Magician from the grave." Isaac now had his fallen magician emerge as she was back in action.
Isaac's Life Points: 6900-
"Now I'll have my Dark Magician of Chaos attack your Harpy Lady 1 and Apprentice Illusion Magician will take out your other Harpy Lady." Isaac then had both of his magicians take flight as they took out Lucky Star and her monsters as she lost some points.
Lucky Star's Life Points: 6100-
"Now the effect of my Alluring Mirror Split allows me to summon a 'Harpie' monster from my deck when my Harpy Lady was destroyed. So arise, Harpie Dancer(1200/1000)."
"I'll then set a card facedown and end my turn." smiled Isaac.
Turn 5: Lucky Star
"My turn, to start, I'll play my Pot of Greed so that I too can draw more cards. Then I'll play Monster Reborn to bring back my Harpy Lady 3. Then I'll summon the original Harpie Lady 2(1300/1400)." said Lucky Star as she played the last monster card in her hand. "Now it's time, I overlay all three of my Level 4 Harpies Ladies to build the Overlay Network." Lucky Star's three monsters then turned into orbs as they were being sucked into a portal that appeared in the ground as a pillar of light emerged and out came a new monster. "I Xyz Summon, Harpie's Pet Phantasmal Dragon(2000/2500, OLU: 3)!" Out came a dragon that was similar to Harpie Pet Dragon as it let out a cry.
"Now I activate my dragon's effect and that means I can attack you directly!" shouted Lucky Star as her dragon took flight and bypassed Isaac's magicians as he stood his ground and didn't move an itch.
Isaac's Life Points: 5100-
"And that's not all, as long as my monster has its overlay units, you can't target any of 'Harpie' monsters with effects or attack any with your monsters. I'll then end my turn, however, I must remove one Xyz material from my dragon." stated Lucky Star.
Turn 6: Isaac
"My turn, I play my Seeker Wisdom spell card. With this I'm allowed to summon a pair of magicians from my deck or hand to the field, however, not only are their effects negated, but their defense points are zero and can't change position. So from my deck, I call upon two Magician of Dark Illusions. Next I'll play my Card of Sanctity so now we each draw till we're holding 6 cards in our hands." Both duelists then drew a new hand. "Now I'll play Ancient Rule so that I can summon my Dark Magician." With that Isaac now had his ace magician as he looked at Lucky Star with a look as he had a field full of monsters.
"Now time to show you some Xyz summoning, I overlay my Dark Magician with my two Level 7 Magician of Dark Illusions to build the Overlay Network!" shouted Isaac.
"What's he doing?" asked the other students.
Isaac's 3 magicians then turned into orbs as they were being merged together as a portal opened up in the ground as a pillar of light came out. "I Xyz Summon Chaos Mageía!" Isaac's new female spellcaster came out as she twirled around as she allowed everybody to get a look at her beauty before she blew a kiss at Isaac as her Xyz materials circled around her.
"I've never seen or heard of that monster." said Lucky Star.
"A special person gave me this card. Since I used 'Dark Magician' to summon my new magician, she can negate the effects of all other monsters on the field." said Isaac.
"What?" shouted Lucky Star as all the cards on her field lost their power.
"I now activate my Chaos Mageía's special ability, by using one Overlay Unit, I can send all other Xyz materials from all other monsters on the field to the graveyard and then she gains 500 extra attack points for each of those materials and it gains an extra attack." said Isaac. Soon his magician worked her magic as it sent away the Xyz material away from Lucky Star's Phantasmal Dragon as it allowed her to gain 1000 more attack points as she rose to 4000. "Now Chaos Mageía take out her Phantasmal Dragon. Divinity Arrow!" Chaos Mageía heard Isaac's command as her wand turned into a bow and an arrow appeared as she pulled back the string and then fired. It traveled through the air in a golden light as it took out its target.

"And my Chaos Mageía has two more attacks it can carry out. So go Divinity Arrow, one more time!" shouted Isaac. His spellcaster then shot another arrow as it collided with Lucky Star who was thrown back from the attack as she landed next to Bryant on the floor.

"My turn!" shouted Amber as she immediately stepped up and everything reset.

Turn 1: Isaac
"I'll start, I draw. I summon my Magician's Valkyria in defense mode. Then since I have a Level 4 or below monster, I can summon my Mage Annette(1300/1700) to the field also in defense mode. And when she's summoned, I can draw an extra card." said Isaac as he had a pair of magicians on his field as he drew his card. "I'll place two cards facedown and end my turn."
Turn 2: Amber
"My turn, and I'll kick things off by playing Polymerization. So I fuse together my Lunalight Blue Cat and Lunalight Purple Butterfly." Amber's two monsters then appeared as their spirits were being fused together as a vortex opened up behind her. "By combining the reflexes of a fierce feline with the fluttering fury of a night time huntress, I can create a new lunar legend! I Fusion Summon! Lunalight Cat Dancer(2400/2000)!" Out came a female beast-warrior as she wore garments while doing a quick dance.
Isaac looked at the new creature as he knew the power this great monster had.
"I'll then play Pot of Greed to draw two more cards. Just what I was hoping for. Now I'll play my Card Rotator spell card, so I'll discard a card from my hand so that I switch all of your monsters modes." Amber's spell then caused Isaac's monsters to switch into attack mode. "Next, I'll play the spell Lunalight Perfume which allows to bring back my Lunalight Blue Cat(1600/1200)." Amber now had her monster return as she looked to execute her strategy. "Now since Lunalight Blue Cat was special summoned, I can target 1 'Lunalight' monster and double its attack points till the end of the turn. But I won't stop there, I'll activate Cat Dancer's ability, so I tribute my Lunalight Blue Cat so that Cat Dancer can attack each of your monsters twice." stated Amber as her other monster was tributed as Cat Dancer gained more points and felt the power surging through her.
"Now time to strike Cat Dancer attack Magician's Valkyria. Due to Cat Dancer's effect, your monster isn't destroyed by the first attack." said Amber as Cat Dancer attack Magician's Valkyria who was able to block with her wand but was pushed back a bit.

"But now my Cat Dancer will attack a second time and your magician is a goner." shouted Amber as this time Isaac's Magician Valkyria was taken out.

"I reveal my facedown, Dark Horizon! I may taken damage but that has allowed my to summon my dear friend, Dark Magician!" shouted Isaac as he now had his ace monster on the field.
"Again?" shouted the rest of the students that were still standing.
"So what? Now Cat Dancer attack his Mage Annette!" shouted Amber.
"Hold on, cause I'll reveal my second facedown, the quick-play spell, Ricochet. With this I can bounce a monster on your side of the field and then I get to draw a card. And since Lunalight is a fusion monster, it goes to your Extra Deck instead of your hand. Which means you have summon it all over again if you want to use it." said Isaac.
"No!" Amber then saw her monster give out a cry as a card was shot out of Isaac's deck as it made contact with her and then bounced back heading towards Isaac who caught the card with his left hand as he gave a badass look at Amber.
"Nice try, kid." said Isaac.
"I... go on." said Amber as she put her head down.
Turn 3: Isaac
"My draw, I'll play Bond Between Teacher and Student, so arise Dark Magician Girl! And as you know my spell allows me to set my Dark Magic Twin Burst from my deck, but I won't activate it just yet. Cause I'm going to do my own fusion summoning, I play the Eye of Timaeus. Now Timaeus merged with my Dark Magician!" Soon a giant dragon descended onto the field as Mahad jumped on his comrades back and they combined their powers together. "I Fusion Summon, Dark Magician the Dragon Knight!" shouted Isaac as his new more powerful monster emerged. "Now my Dark Magician the Dragon Knight while it's on the field, it names becomes 'Dark Magician' which means I can activate the card I set down, so Dark Magician Girl boosts my Dark Magician the Dragon Knight by her attack points. And since my Dark Magician is in my graveyard, Dark Magician Girl gains 300 extra attack points." With that Mana boosted Isaac's fusion monster by 2300 attack points.
"Now my monsters finish this duel, attack her directly!!" said Isaac as he thrusted his hand out. All three of Isaac's monsters then looked at each other with a smile as they combined their powers together and they shot off a powerful spell that blasted Amber in the square in the chest as she was flung to where Bryant and Lucky Star were as she too suffered a similar fate.

"Alright enough playing around, time for me to scorch this rebellion!" shouted Shadow Moonrise as he quickly stepped forward and took his turn to fight Isaac.

"I'll start things off by playing my Seeker Wisdom spell card, which I'm sure you know allows me to summon 2 magicians from my deck to the field in defense mode with their abilities negated. So I choose my Magician of Dark Illusions. Then I'll overlay my 2 magicians and build the Overlay Network." Isaac's monsters then changed into orbs as a portal opened up in the ground as a pillar of light emerged. "I Xyz Summon Ebon Illusion Magician. Then I'll use Ebon Illusion Magician's special ability, so by using one overlay unit, I can special summon one normal-type spellcaster to my field from my hand or deck. So I choose my Dark Magician." Isaac's card then slotted out of his deck as his ace monster was back on display.
"Next, I'll play my Dark Magic Veil so by giving up 1000 life points, I can summon Dark Magician Girl. Then I'll play Graceful Charity so I pick up 3 cards and discard two." Isaac then drew his cards as he selected the ones he wanted to get rid of. "Then I'll play Mage Power and with it I can boost my Dark Magician's attack points by 500 for every spell and trap card on the field, with that done I'll play Magic Formula to give my Dark Magician Girl an extra 700 attack points and place one facedown before ending my turn." said Isaac as he now had a trio of monsters as his Dark Magician had gain attack points.

Turn 2: Shadow
"That was the worst mistake you could have made." said Shadow as he drew his card. "I summon Raidraptor - Vanishing Lanius(1300/1600) to my field. And this feather friend allows me to call upon another Vanishing Lanius in my hand." said Shadow as he had a pair of raptors on his field. "By why stop there, cause since I special summoned, I can summoned my Raidraptor - Fuzzy Lanius(500/1500). Then I'll play Raidraptor - Sanctuary which allows me to draw 2 cards since I control 3 'Raidraptors'. Next up is the spell card, Double Summon so that I can play a pair of Raidraptor - Heel Eagle(700/700)." Shadow now had a field full of monsters as he looked to be the one to take down Isaac.
"Now time for a double Xyz Summon, I overlay my 2 Vanishing Lanius and Fuzzy Lanius to build the Overlay Network." Shadow's 3 monsters then turned into orbs as they were sucked into a portal that opened in the ground as a pillar of light appeared. "From the shadows, the falcon soars on wings of courage, talons ready for the rebellion! I Xyz Summon! Witness the ascent of Raidraptor - Rise Falcon(100/2000, OLU: 3)! Then I'll overlay both of my Level 3 Raidraptor - Heel Eagle." Once again Shadow had both of his monsters turn into orbs as another monster was being summoned. "I Xyz Summon, Raidraptor - Fiend Eagle(1000/0, OLU: 2)!" Shadow had two Xyz monsters on his field as he looked to strike.
"I'll activate the effect of my Fiend Eagle, by using one overlay unit, I can target one special summoned monster on your side of the field and you take damage eagle to its attack. And I choose your Dark Magician!" Shadow's bird then unleashed a powerful effect as Isaac used his arm to cover himself.
Isaac's Life Points: 4500-
"Then I'll play the spell card, Rank-Up Magic Raid Force. Now I can use my Fiend Eagle to Xyz summon a monster that's one rank higher!" shouted Shadow as he got rid of his current monster to call upon an even more powerful bird. "I Xyz Summon! Raid Raptors - Force Strix(100/2000) in defense mode!" Shadow now had two feather birds on his field. "Now I activate my Rise Falcon's ability, by using one overlay unit, it gains the attack points of all your monsters and then it can attack all of them." Rise Falcon's attack then shot up to 8100 attack points.
"8100?" said Shadow's peers as they were stunned by the power of his monster.
"Now Rise Falcon put Isaac in his place and take him out!" shouted Shadow as he his monster was encased in flames as he took flight and dived down towards Isaac.
"You still have alot to learn, I reveal my facedown, Mirror Force with I can reflect your attack and your Rise Falcon is destroyed!" Isaac's trap then had a reflective wall appeared as Rise Falcon made contact and then repelled the attack as it pushed back Rise Falcon as it was gone.
"No! My raptor!" said Shadow as he was in disbelief that Isaac just countered his move like it was nothing.
Turn 3: Isaac
"Time to join the others." smiled Isaac. "Go my magicians, my Ebon Illusion Magician had another effect, whenever a normal type spellcaster declares an attack it can a banish a card, so say goodbye to your Force Strix!" Mahad then pointed his staff as he removed Shadow's only monster from the duel. "Now attack him directly!" shouted Isaac as all of his magicians fired off a powerful spell that caused Shadow to be thrown as he laid in front of the other 3 as they were still down.

"Flawless victory." said Isaac as he used Shadow's own catchphrase against him.
"Do I have to do everything around here?!" shouted Penny as she stepped forward. "I'm not going to end up like the others."
"That's what they all said." stated Isaac as his cards were once again shuffled.

"I'll start by summoning my Beta the Magnet Warrior in defense mode. Then I'll place one card facedown and end my turn."
Turn 2: Penny
"Time to outpace and put you down. Here goes." said Penny as she drew her card. "Since you're the only one with a monster on his field, I can special summon Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn(2000/900). And since birds of a feather like to flock together, since I control another 'Blackwing', I can summon my Blackwing - Bora the Spear(1700/800). But I'm not done, cause now I'll summon Blackwing - Pinaki the Waxing Moon(1200/1000)." Penny now had 3 monsters on her field as one of them was a tuner. "Now time to soar high, I tune my Level 3 Pinaki the Waxing Moon with my Level 5 Sirocco the Dawn." Pinaki then flew high as changed into 3 giant green rings as Sirocco jumped in between as they were being called upon a new monster. "Now by the power of a Synchro Summoning, these two Blackwings will beat as one! Soar to power, Black-Winged Dragon!(2800/1600)." Out emerged a fierce dragon as it had feathers on its wings.
"Now I'll move in to strike, Blackwing - Bora the Spear attack his Beta. Thanks to Bora the Spear's ability, I'm allowed to deal you piercing damage." Bora the Spear then took out Isaac's monster. "Then I'll have my Black-Winged Dragon attack you directly!" shouted Penny as she had her dragon open its mouth as it fired off an attack that caused Isaac to raise his duel disk up as he blocked it.

"I reveal my facedown, Dark Horizon. You know what that means, Dark Magician come on out!" said Isaac as he managed to bring out his signature monster once again with ease.
"Man, is there no way for you to not summon your magician?" asked Penny as she was annoyed by how consistent Isaac was in bring out his ace. "I'll then lay a facedown and end my turn. And now Pinaki the Waxing Moon's effect activates, which allows me to add a 'Blackwing' monster from my deck to my hand."
Turn 3: Isaac
"My turn, watch out!" shouted Isaac as he drew his card. "I'll now summon Apple Magician Girl." Isaac now had an apple appeared in his hand as he tossed it into the air as it was surrounded in a white light. Soon out came a teen female spellcaster as she appeared in front of her master and mentor. "Then I'll play one card facedown and then have my Dark Magician attack your Bora the Spear. Dark Magic Attack!" said Isaac as his magician pointed its staff and took out Penny's monster.
Penny's Life Points: 7200-
"I reveal my facedown, Blackback. With it, I can now special summon one 'Blackwing' monster with 2000 or less attack points from my graveyard. So arise, Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn." Penny now had another monster rise up on her friend.
"Then I'll end my turn."
Turn 4: Penny
"My turn, and now I'll summon my Blackwing - Mistral the Silver Shield(100/1800) in defense mode." Out came a bird as its face was a silver shield. "And now I tune my Level 2 Mistral the Silver Shield with my Level 5 Sirocco the Dawn." Silver Shield then flew high up as it flapped its wings and turned into 2 giant green rings as Sirocco the Dawn jumped in between them. "I Synchro Summon, Blackwing Armor Master(2500/2000)!" Penny now had another powerful synchro monster as it joined the field with her dragon.
"Now time to strike, I'll first have my Blackwing Armor Master attack your Dark Magician." said Penny.
"Hey, Jason. Any idea why Penny is doing that, I mean both monsters have the same attack points?" asked Jack to which his comrade didn't have an answer.
"Blackwing Armor Master's effect makes it so that it can't be destroyed and I take no battle damage. Not to mention that your monster is now out of the of the picture, I think that's a sweet deal." smiled Penny as her monster raised its fists and collided with Isaac's Dark Magician as it was destroyed but her monster was safe. "With your ace out of the way, this duel is about to put me in the fastlane. Now Black-Winged Dragon take out his Apple Magician Girl!"
"Looks like I'm gonna have to put the brakes on your assault, cause I activate Apple Magician Girl's special ability. When Apple Magician Girl is attacked, she can bring out her friend! And this friend's bound to leave a sour taste in your mouth. She's Lemon Magician Girl! And your dragon's attack is diverted to her! But that's not all, she cuts the strength of your attack points in half! Hope you like lemonade!" shouted Isaac as he had a lemon appear in his hand as he tossed it in the air and out came another teen girl magician as she cut the dragon's strength in half.
"There's more. Like Apple Magician Girl, Lemon Magician Girl also calls up her friend! So appear, Dark Magician Girl! And she does the same thing once more cutting your dragon's attack in half and becomes the target!" Isaac now had his favorite female magician appeared as she did a quick twirl and wink as she stepped in front of her comrades as she reduced Black - Winged Dragon's attack all the way to 700. "Now counter attack, Mana!" shouted Isaac. His magician then pointed her wand and with a sly smile she blasted away Penny's dragon as it let out a cry and dealt Penny some huge damage.

"Either way, none of your monsters can take out my Blackwing Armor Master. So I'll end my turn."
Turn 5: Isaac
"My turn, now I'll play Card of Sanctity so now we each draw till we're holding 6 cards in our hands." said Isaac as both replenished their hand. "Now I'll play Chocolate Magician Girl(1600/1000)." said Isaac as he had another teen girl magician.
"Gees, you really love your magicians girls, don't you." said Penny.
Isaac just raised his eyebrow at Penny's statement in confusion as he looked around him. Seems all of his female magicians on his field had all surrounded Isaac as they gave him lovely smiles and looks with hearts floating next to them as they showed their love for their master. Mana then appeared behind Isaac as she wrapped her arms around him as she snuggled her cheek against his back as she gave him a hug. Isaac just folded his arms as he had an unamusing look on his face.
"Alright, Mana let me go!" shouted Isaac as he struggled to break free from his Dark Magician Girl's arms. He was able to do so as he fixed his clothes and his cap as he looked at all of his female spellcasters. "All right enough fawning over me, let's finish this!" commanded Isaac as he looked to his monsters.
"Whatever you say, Isaac." smiled all of his magician girls as they couldn't help but giggle at how cute their master was when he was iterated as they all gave him a group hug as he was squished between all of them as he felt a certain object from all the girls' chest as they wrapped their arms around him. Soon they disbursed as Mana did the same as she gave Isaac a kiss.
"Mana!!" shouted Isaac as he was starting to get annoyed.
"Hehehe." giggled Mana as she took her position.
"Thank god nobody can see any of this, except me." said Isaac as this was one of the times he was glad monster spirits couldn't actually move. "Now, I'll activate my Chocolate Magician Girl's special ability, so I'll discard my Apprentice Magician, so that I can draw a card. I'll then place one card facedown and end my turn."
Turn 6: Penny
"My draw, I'll summoned my Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North(1300/0). And when this little bird is summoned, it allows me to bring back a Level 4 or below monster from the grave, so arise Blackwing - Bora the Spear in defense mode. But these aren't going to stick around for long cause I'm tuning my Level 2 Blizzard the Far North with my Level 4 Bora the Spear." Blizzard the Far North then turned into 2 giant green rings as Bora the Spear jumped in between them. "I Synchro Summon, Blackwing Armed Wing(2300/1000)!" shouted Penny as she had a powerful monster descend from the skies.
"Next, I'll play Cards for Black Feathers, so I'll send a 'Blackwing' from my hand to draw 2 cards. And one of those cards I just drew, was my Blackwing - Breeze the Zephyr(1100/300) and since I added it to my hand by way of a spell card, I can summon it to the field. Then since I control a 'Blackwing', I'll also special summon my Blackwing - Kris the Crack of Dawn(1900/300)!" Penny now had 4 monsters on her field as she was about to summon something powerful. "Now time for a second Synchro Summon, I tune my Level 3 Breeze the Zephyr with my Blackwing - Kris the Crack of Dawn!" Penny's tuner then flew high into the air as it turned into 3 giant green rings as her other bird flew in between them. "And by way of their cosmic bonds, I can form an even mightier beast! I Synchro Summon! Spread your wings, Assault Blackwing - Raikiri the Rain Shower(2600/2000)!" Out came fierce bird warrior as it wielded a long sword.
"Now my Raikiri's effect activates, so now based on how many 'Blackwings' there are on my field, I can destroy that many cards on your side." said Penny as her monster looked to strike.
"Ain't gonna happen, I discard Effect Veiler to negate your Raikiri's ability till the end of the turn." Isaac's monster then appeared as it launched a barrage of feathers that rendered Penny's synchro monster useless.
"I hate you!" shouted Penny as she was annoyed by how Isaac was able to survive and counter her moves. "I'm pissed! Blackwing Armor Master take out his Lemon Magician Girl!" shouted Penny as she was blinded by rage.
"I'll activate my facedown, Shift. So I'll switch the target of your attack to my Chocolate Magician Girl."
"Whatever, you're still losing a monster!" yelled Penny.
"Not quite, Chocolate Magician Girl's effect activates, since she was targeted for an attack, I can special summon one spellcaster in my graveyard and it becomes the target of your attack. So my Dark Magician is back! And your attack strength is cut in half!" Isaac's Dark Magician appeared as Mahad did his job of protecting his students as he created a barrier with his magic as the others magicians were in awe by what their teacher was able to do. Mahad then transferred the barrier's energy into an attack as he blasted Blackwing Armor Master as he was pushed back.
"My Blackwing Armor Master can't be destroyed in battle, and he left a Wedge Counter on your Magician. So I'll remove it so that your magician loses all of his attack/defense points." stated Penny.
Mahad then felt the power of the counter as he dropped to a knee as he was hurt as it caused all the other magicians to worry as they looked at their mentor. Mana kneeled next to Mahad as she checked up on her teacher as he was in pain while trying his best to smile.
"Now that your Dark Magician has zero attack points, he's now a big target." shouted Penny. "You survive, but I'll end this next turn. I'll set a card." stated Penny as she ended her turn.
Turn 7: Isaac
"Time to finish this, draw!" said Isaac as he created a wind effect that caused Penny to move a bit as she looked at Isaac as she could see the demon inside of Isaac as it sync with his soul and the magic inside. "I'll activate my Lemon Magician Girl's effect, so I'll tribute my Chocolate Magician Girl so that I can add a spellcaster from my deck to my hand." Chocolate Magician Girl then approached Isaac as she feed him a piece of chocolate and gave him a kiss before she disappeared as a card was now floating to where she once was as Isaac grabbed it.
"I'll now play my Enchantress of Melody(900/1800)!" said Isaac.
Soon a beautiful young girl with crimson-colored eyes, an determined and gentle look and mid-length dark brown hair tied into two twin-tails to a ribbon that laid on her shoulders. She wore black robes and a cloak, she wielded a silver staff and kept a short sword sheathed around her waist. Underneath the cloak, she wore a low-cut blouse, ultra-short pink miniskirts, and wore burgundy boots that stopped before her knee caps She also wore some leggings that stopped halfway to her thighs as she still showed off her fair smooth skin. Enchantress of Melody opened her eyes as she gave a wink and smile as she struck a pose for all to see. Like the others, she looked at who summoned her and it was none other than her master as she gave him a hug and kiss.
"I really need to tally on how many times this happens." said Isaac as he was referring to when his girl magicians expressed their affection to him as he wiped his cheek. "Now the time has come, time to show you some Synchro power. I tune my Level 3 Enchantress of Melody with my Level 2 Lemon Magician Girl and Level 3 Apple Magician Girl." Enchantress then casted some magic with her wand as she turned into 3 giant rings as the other two girls jumped in between them. "I Synchro Summon, Dark Sorcerer Magician!" Isaac now had his synchro monster as out came a spellcaster that had white hair and had garments that were dressed in a indigo/purple color scheme. It wielded a staff and was surrounded by bits of stardust and and magical symbols.
"What kind of cards do you have?" asked Penny as she had never seen this kind of monster.
"You don't want to know. Now my Dark Sorcerer Magician's effect activates, when it's summoned, I can destroy one spell/trap, so say goodbye to your facedown." said Isaac as his magician used it staffs and using the symbols floating around it was able to get rid of Penny's last line of defense. "Lastly, I'll play Dark Burning Magic! And that means your entire field is gone." Isaac snapped his fingers and in a matter of seconds Penny watched her monsters be destroyed as she had nothing. "Now finish this, attack her directly!!" shouted Isaac as all of his monsters laid waste to Penny.
"Ahh!!" shouted Penny as she was thrown back.

"I'll start by summoning my Battlin' Boxer Headgeared. When he's summoned, I can send a 'Battlin Boxer' from my deck to the graveyard." said Jack as he selected the monster he wanted to get rid of. "Then since I control a 'Battlin Boxer', I can special summon Battlin' Boxer Sparrer to the field. And now that I have two monsters, I'll overlay them to construct the Overlay Network." Jack's two monsters then changed into orbs of light as they were sucked into a portal that opened up as a pillar of light emerged. "I Xyz Summon, Battlin' Boxer Lead Yoke!" shouted Jack.
"I'll then lay a facedown and end my turn."

"My turn and time to show you something new. I'll place my Black Arts Trickster in one of my Pendulum Zones." Isaac then placed his pendulum card on the far right side of his card tray as she appeared in a column of light with a number in front of her.
"Pendulum zone?" said Jack as he was confused.
"Now I'll activate my Black Arts Trickster's pendulum ability, so now I can add a pendulum monster from my deck and place it in my other Pendulum Zone and I choose my Sorcerer Swordsman." said Isaac as his duel disk then slotted out his card as he grabbed it and placed it on the far left side of his card tray as he appeared in a column of light with a number in front of him. "Now the other effect of my Black Arts Trickster takes root, since there's a 'magician' in my Pendulum Zone then I can raise her her number from 3 to 10." Isaac's pendulum scale then shot up as he now had a bigger scale to work with. "With that it's time to pendulum summon!"
"What's a pendulum summon?!" Jack and Jason were now really confused as they couldn't understand what Isaac was doing or saying.
"Let me show you, I'm allowed to summon monsters from level 2 through 9, all at the same time. Back and forth, to and fro, what's coming next? You'll all soon know! So swing far Pendulum and carve the arc that will lead me to victory! My monsters are ready to swing into action!" shouted Isaac as a thrusted his arm into the air as a portal opened up and out came 3 lights. "They say all good things happen in threes, well let me introduce you to this terrific trio. First up is my Rune-Eyes Illusionist(1800/2400, Scale 3, Level 5), next up is my Sleight of Hand Magician(2100/1500, Scale 2, Level 6), and lastly is my Black Robe Mentalist(1700/1300, Scale 7, Level 4)." said Isaac as he had his trusty pendulum monsters appear.
"What the hell did I just see?" asked Jason as he was astonished by what Isaac did. Meanwhile, Jack had his jaw drop at what Isaac was able to do.
"Now I'll activate my Black Robe Mentalist's special ability, now since there are 3 monsters on my field, I can look at the top 3 cards of my deck and then choose one to add to my hand." Black Robe Mentalist then closed her eyes as she put her arm out and concentrated. Soon the images of Isaac's cards appeared in front of him as he clicked confirm on his duel disk as he selected the one he wanted. "Thanks." said Isaac to his Mentalist.
"Hmph." was all Black Robe Mentalist said.
"Come on, don't be like that. Smile." said Isaac as he tried to get his magician to open up a bit.
"I am smiling." said Mentalist in her goth tone voice as he had a deadpanned look on her face.
"Yeesh, I hate to see what your other expressions are." said Isaac. Remind me to spend some one-on-one time with her. "Now then, I'll play the card I just got which is my Ancient Rule spell card."
"Not gonna happen, I activate my Dark Bribe trap card. So now your spell is negated and destroyed, but you draw 1 card." said Jack as he was taking every precaution to not let Isaac summon his Dark Magician.
"Very well, now I'll attack. Rune-Eyes Illusionist attack his Battlin' Boxer Lead Yoke." said Isaac.
"Why do that? My monster is stronger than yours." informed Jack.
"I guess I should inform you about my Rune-Eyes Illusionist's special ability, once per turn it can gain the attack points of the monster it battles. So since Lead Yoke has 2200 attack points, my Rune-Eyes Illusionist now had a total of 4000 attack points." said Isaac as his magician used his relic eye as he absorbed the power of his target as he used his staff and fired a powerful spell as it made contact with Lead Yoke.
Jack's Life Points: 6200-
"As you know I can detach an Xyz material to allow my Lead Yoke to survive your attack and boost its strength by 800." Lead Yoke then broke one of its shackles as it powered up.
"Very well, now I'll place one card facedown and end my turn."
Turn 3: Jack
"My turn, to start I'll detach the last overlay unit from my Lead Yoke so now it gains 800 more attack points, bringing his total to 3800." said Jack as his monster broke the last of his shackles. "Why you ask why I did that, cause it allows me to special summon this guy, Battlin' Boxer Shadow(1800/1400). Now time to attack, Lead Yoke attack his Rune-Eyes Illusionist. But I'll give my monster a little power boost, so I banish Battlin' Boxer Counterpunch from my graveyard so that Lead Yoke gains 1000 more attack points till the end of the turn." Lead Yoke then raised his fist up as he brought it down on Isaac's monster.
Isaac's Life Points: 5000-
"Then I'll have my Battlin' Boxer Shadow take out your Black Robe Mentalist," responded Jack as he took out another one of Isaac's monsters.
Isaac's Life Points: 4900-
"With that I'll lay a facedown and call it a turn, so Lead Yoke loses the extra 1000 attack points."
Turn 4: Isaac
"It's my move, and time for me to end it. First I'll play Card of Sanctity which allows us to draw till we're holding 6 cards in out hand. Then it's time to pendulum once more." Soon a portal opened up as three lights came out. "Returning back for an encore is my Rune-Eyes Illusionist and Black Robe Mentalist, but also welcome my Dark Magician!" said Isaac.
"Wait, how can you summon those monsters? They were sent to the graveyard." stated Jack.
"Not quite, see these monsters are Pendulum monsters and unlike ordinary cards, whenever they leave the field they go to my Extra Deck instead of the grave." informed Isaac.
"Is that a real thing?" asked Jason.
"Now like before, I'll activate my Black Robe Mentalist's special ability so I'll excavate the top 4 cards of my deck and add one of them to my hand." Isaac then had his female magician use her powers as he saw his options as he selected the one he got. He then looked at his magician expecting her to have a different expression but she just had the same look.
"Seriously?"
"Leave me alone." said Mentalist.
"I'm trying to get you to be happy." said Isaac.
"I am happy, I have my books." stated Black Robe Mentalist. "Now can we please end this duel? I have some reading to do."
"Man, is she a tough one." said Isaac to himself as he knew he was going to have his work cut out for him if he was ever going to have his magician open herself up and try not to act so moody. "But you're right, so let's end this duel. So I'll play my Dark Magic Attack spell card to destroy all of your spells and traps." stated Isaac as his magician took out Jack's entire backrow. "With that done, I'll then activate my Magic Formula to give my Dark Magician an extra 700 attack points. Now time to attack, Rune Eyes strike down Battlin' Boxer Lead Yoke. And you know my monster's ability." said Isaac as he got rid of Jack's monster.
Jack's Life Points: 4400-
"And then Dark Magician take out his Battling Boxer Shadow." said Isaac as Mahad cleared the way for his comrades to attack as he took out Jack's remaining monster.
Jack's Life Points: 2600-
"Now Sleight of Hand Magician and Black Robe Mentalist take out his life points!" shouted Isaac as his monsters struck the final blow as Jack suffered the same fate as his fellow classmates. "Now get the hell out of my dueling field!" shouted Isaac.
"Ahh!" yelled Jack as he joined the others on the floor.

"I'm the last one standing." said Jason as he was the final duelist hoping to beat Isaac.

Turn 1: Jason
"My turn, to start I'll play The Melody of Awakening Dragon spell card, so I'll discard a card so that I can search 2 Blue-Eyes White Dragons from my deck. Then I'll play Trade-In, so I'll discard my Nebula Dragon so that I can draw 2 more cards." Jason then sent his monster to the grave as he picked up some more cards. "Next, I play Return of the Dragon Lords to bring back my Nebula Dragon. Now reveal the Blue-Eyes in my hand so that I can special summon Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon. Then I'll overlay my Nebula Dragon with my Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon to build the Overlay Network!" shouted Jason as his two monsters turned into orbs as they were being sucked into a portal that opened up as a pillar of light emerged. "I Xyz Summon Number 97: Draglubion(3000/3000, OLU: 2)!" Soon out came a fiercer monster as it let out a roar as it looked at Isaac. "Then I'll use Draglubion's special ability, by using one overly unit, I can summon 2 Dragon 'Numbers' from my Extra Deck and summon one of them to the field while the other is attached to it. So I choose to summon Number 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy(3000/2500, OLU: 1) and attach Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon to it as Xyz material." said Jason as he had another dragon appear on his field.
"Then I'll reveal my Danger! Bigfoot! from my hand to activate its effect. Now you choose one random card in my hand and then I must send it away, if the card you chose wasn't my Danger! Bigfoot!, then I get to draw a card and special summon it to the field." Jason then showed his hand as he had 4 cards in his hand which meant that Isaac had a 25% chance of getting it right. "So which one do you choose?"
Isaac looked at the cards as he pointed at one of them. "I choose... the card on the far right." said Isaac.
Jason then smiled as he sent the card Isaac had chosen to the graveyard. He then showed off the remaining cards in his hand. "Looks like... you were wrong, so now come to the field Danger! Bigfoot!" shouted Jason as his monster appeared on his side of the field. "And now I draw a card thanks to my monster's other effect, and the card I just drew was Monster Reborn which I'll play to bring back the monster that was just sent away, Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon(3000/2500)!" Jason now had another powerful monster on his field as they all let out a cry as they stared at Isaac with anger in their eyes. "My monsters are ready to end this on my next turn, you may taken out everybody, but I'm still the last one and trust me, I'm the toughest one you'll face. You've seen how I held my own against Shining Armor."
"You mean how he made you his bitch!" responded Isaac.
"What you say?" responded Jason as he felt insulted by Isaac's comment.
"Word of advice for you and the rest of them. Never start something you can't finish." said Isaac. "I didn't ask for this challenge, but I'm sure as hell gonna end this and give you all a proper lesson."
"Just take your turn, so that I can beat you."
Turn 2: Isaac
"This duel is already over!" said Isaac. "Time to end this little façade." Isaac then showed his entire hand to Jason as his eyes widen in fear.
"No. No! NO!!!!" shouted Jason as he fell down.
"I've assembled all five pieces of Exodia." stated Isaac as he put the cards on his tray and spread them out. Soon an ancient seal appeared behind Isaac as all parts of Exodia then started to merge as it appeared and gave an intimidating look that would cause anybody to have fear.
"This can't be!" said Jason as he was starting to back away slowly as all his monsters were now cowering in fear.
"Exodia! Obliterate!!!" shouted Isaac as Exodia thrusted its arm out and with one shot took out all of Jason's monsters and his life points as he was sent flying and he too joined the others on the floor.
Jason's Life Points: 0-
Winner: Isaac(OTK)
"Gauntlet mode deactivated. Winner: Isaac." said his duel disk.
Isaac deactivated his duel disk as he had a scowl on his face as he looked at the sight that laid before him. The students laid before him as they were still on the floor. Soon they all began to stir as they looked at each other and then saw Isaac as they looked into his eyes as it caused them to be scared for their lives. Isaac then began to step forward as the students slowly crawled a few inches from their headmaster as they were still lying on the floor.
"What you all saw was my power. I don't just talk a big game, I have the skills to back it up. This is what awaits you, and if this is as far as you all can go. Then I strongly suggest that forfeit your spot in the tournament; I want to face someone who will push me to the limit." said Isaac. "So listen to your tutors and study hard; till then I expect you all to get better. I put this red X on my chest because I know I am the target. So a little piece of advice to whoever wants to come at me next and to everybody reading this right now, remember one thing. They stop manufacturing the cloth that I'm cut from!!" shouted Isaac as he displayed his dominance. Isaac then started to grab his backpack as he was about to leave the room when he put his hand on the door handle and stopped. He had a smile on his face as he looked at the group. "Good luck you all, and I hope you'll cheer for me in my duel against Shining Armor." Isaac then left the room.
"Well... that... worked out." said Shadow as he was out of breath.
"Yeah... let's... never do this again." stated Amber as she didn't want to get pushed around by Isaac's power.
"I... agree Amber." said Bryant.
"What... the hell... happened?" asked Jack.
"We... got.. our asses... handed to us... by Isaac." informed Lucky Star.
"No shit!!" shouted Penny as she and the rest of the gang all collapsed with their arms and legs spread out as they were in a circle.
"Guys... let's pay attention... to our tutors... and get better." spoked Jason.
"Agreed!" yelled out all seven of them as they were tired and motivated, but mostly tired.
Isaac had arrived at the house as the sun was just starting to set. He then entered the house as he closed the door behind him. "Twilight! You here?" called out Isaac.
"Up here, Isaac." said Twilight as she appeared at the top of the staircase. "I was just in my room with Spike; I thought you would be at work. Seeing as how you had some orders to take care of."
"Well, Mr. Johnson decided I could take the day off given that I've put so many hours working. Also cause he knows about my duel with Shining Armor that's coming up." said Isaac. "But we need to talk."
"About what?" asked Twilight as she started to walk down the stairs as Isaac met her by the bottom of the staircase as she was still on them.
"Did you and the girls have the kids challenge me as a way for me to practice and distract me?" asked Isaac as he looked deep at Twilight's eyes.
"W-what?" responded Twilight. "No, what made you think that?"
Isaac just chuckled as he grabbed Twilight's chin with his hand and brought his lips to make contact with his girlfriends. Twilight leaned in as she put her arms around Isaac. He then broke away as he scooped up Twilight in his arms as he picked her up bridal style and carried her over to the couch where he sat down as he place Twilight in his lap. Isaac then gave another kiss to Twilight as he held her. They then pulled away as they looked at each other and Twilight placed her head into Isaac's chest.
"Did you?" asked Isaac.
"We were joking." stated Twilight. "We didn't they actually listen to our suggestion." Twilight then let out a sigh as she looked at Isaac. "It's just... me and the others were worried about you. You're a completely different person than you once were. Before a big duel, you would always be excited and would practice as much as you can. But recently, you've changed. You've got a whole new set of responsibilities that you taken on. And it's completely morphed your character. " said Twilight. "I understand what you're doing... but I can't help but feel like you're growing up too fast when me and the others all wanted to enjoy our last year together."
"Twilight, I get it. But keep in mind, I'm 19 years old going on to be 20 sometime after we graduate. This is the time in one's life when they start to transition into adulthood and they start to think about what they want to do with their life and what career they're going to have." said Isaac. "I know that I haven't been the same like in the past, but that's because I'm preparing myself for what comes next after graduation. My road ahead is still unclear, but I've got a glimpse of what it holds and I'm just doing everything I can to make sure that I get there." Isaac then grabbed Twilight's chin as he forced her to look at him.
"But maybe you're right. I have been spending a lot of time taking care of things. So I'll do my best to cut back and try to spend as much time as I can with you and the girls." said Isaac. "Besides, it seems my skills could never rust when it comes to Duel Monsters." snickered Isaac.
"Does that mean you were victorious in that little challenge of yours?" said Twilight with some seductiveness in her voice as she stroked Isaac's cheek.
"What did you expect the result to be?" said Isaac with a flirty expression. "Plus, I think the kids now know how serious to take this tournament. Not to mention it was kind of fun to remind them who actually runs this yard." Isaac then captured Twilight's lips once more as they both placed their arms around each other as they held one another. "So how badly do you want me to kick your brother's ass?" asked Isaac.
"Let me think about that. Hmm..." said Twilight as she had an evil smile appear on her face as she thought about her revenge. "Make him pay for all the times he beat me and bullied me with his Blue-Eyes." demanded Twilight.
"Consider it done, my princess." said Isaac as he gave Twilight one final kiss as the two just laid down on the couch as they eventually fell asleep in each other's embrace.

Damn.. that was a slaughter. But they all did good in their own rights. I have the total turns for each duel and I am happy my Jack lasted a good bit
Bryant = 4 turns total
Lucky Star = 6 turns total
Amber = 3 turns total Most Life points taken away from Issac.
Shadow = 3 turns total
Penny = 7 turns total
Jack = 4 turns total
Jason = 2 turns total Got Obliterated.
Loved the chapter. I do hope all the new students would be able to see duel spirits. It's crazy and out there but it's a dream for my Jack to talk to his Jinzo

I think this is the first time seeing 7 full duels in a row in one chapter.

I feel like while Isaac shown them the ropes, I feel like someone could twist this and have this backfire on Isaac.
Jason would surely take it hard due to not only losing badly to Shining, but the fact Isaac didn't let him have a full fight due to outright flipping Exodia on him. Like.. wow, all that work but getting smacked with Exodia like that. That has gotta hurt to be on the receiving end on that in that situation there.(In fact I think this is the first time we see Isaac using the actual Exodia there?)
Its like in that scene in Indiana Jones where where the guy was facing off against some skilled swordsmen showing off, only to casually pulling a gun and shooting the swordsmen in one shot.
The duels were pretty great, though there's quite a bunch of errors I would like to point out to help out:
Elephammer actually lets its user Normal Summon/Set it without tributing if he has two or more Performapal monsters out, not Special Summoning itself.
Helpprincess's summoning effect would have happened the moment a Peformapal was Normal or Special Summoned.
So him activating Performapal Huricane means he missed the window to use Performapal Helpprincess's summoning effect.
Magician of Dark Illusion's self-summoning effect is triggered if its owner used a spell or trap, not a monster effect.
Along with it would have happened after the effect resolves, not at the end of the turn.
She can't have Harpy Lady 1, 2, 3 and the original one in her deck due to technically she has 4 copies of Harpy Lady.
Due to how its worded with how Harpy Lady 1, 2, 3 are treated as the original "Harpy Lady", they are count as this in the deck and due to some ruling, its applied before the duel happens. Therefor it counts towards the 3 copies per card rule.
Wasn't Magician's Valkyre already in Attack Mode? Then wouldn't it be switched to Defense Mode instead by Card Rotator?
Dark Horizon should be activating the moment he took damage, not waiting till an attack was declared.
Like after Magician's Valkyre got destroyed and he took damage, he has to activate Dark Horizen at that moment rather than waiting till Cat Dancer afterwards was about to attack Mage Annette.
Fuzzy Lanius's search effect only activates if it was sent to the graveyard.
While Heel Eagle's summoning effect is HOPT. As in Shadow can only summon 1 Heel Eagle via its effect and can't summon any other copies via that way for that turn.
Again, Dark Horizon would have activated the moment Isaac took damage.
Not waiting till the end of the turn to activate.
Penny wouldn't have taken any battle damage due to Blackwing Armor Master has its controller not take any battle damage during battles with it.
The "removing Wedge Counter to make ATK/DEF 0" effect isn't a quick-play, so Penny has to wait till Main Phase 2 to use it.
Wasn't Jolt Counter destroyed by the effect of Dark Magic Attack?
Melody Of Awakening Dragon searches up to two dragons that has 3000 or more ATK and 2500 or less DEF. Not summoning them like that.
That's all of the errors I see I think.
