Chapter 53: Taking on a God

To recap, a man by the name Francis had stolen a copy of an Egyptian God card. That card was none other than Slifer the Sky Dragon; a card spoken only in legends and in books that it was just that, a god. The original was long gone as the owner of the card vanished, but Mr. Williams' company had managed to make a copy of them but never released them to the general public. Then the mysterious man had attacked Crystal Prep Academy and put the Shadowbolts in the hospital. Now he was doing the same to Canterlot High. He was currently on the lookout for the other God cards, during that time, Mr. William had asked Celestia for her help. Despite Celestia tell him not to be involved in the matter, Isaac couldn't stand aside and do nothing as he had challenged Francis to a duel. Now it was Isaac's turn to take him down and stop this madness.

"Hope you're ready to pay for all the suffering you've caused Francis." said Isaac.

"Big words coming from someone who's so small. You don't know what you're in for! Now then let's get to it." said Francis.

"Opponent detected. Streaming data. Duel mode set. Initiating. Commencing duel." said the mechanical voice of their duel disks.

Isaac's Life Points: 8000-
Francis's Life Points: 8000-

Turn 1: Isaac

"Non-criminals get to go first." Isaac drew his card and looked at his hand. "I'll start by playing my Gazelle The King of Mythical Beasts in attack mode. Then I'll place one card facedown and end my turn."

Turn 2: Francis

"Look at you. You're quivering like a schoolboy!" said Francis.

"Please nobody's quivering!" shouted Isaac.

"Heh heh. You should." Francis then drew his card. "Now then I'll place a card facedown and then set a monster in defense mode. That is all for now."

Turn 3: Isaac

Huh, I was expecting some sort of big play, oh well. Isaac then drew his card. "I'll reveal my facedown, Destruction Sword Memories. Now I'll discard 1 'Destruction Sword' and that will allow me to summon Buster Blader(2600/2300) from my deck." Isaac then slapped his card on his tray as the girls all got a good look at one of Isaac's new monsters. It was a warrior that was covered in armor from head to toe and it wielded a large sword. "Now time to attack, first my Buster Blader will take care of your facedown monster. Then my Gazelle will attack you directly."
Francis' Life Points: 6500-

"I'll then end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 4: Francis

"You think that just because you dealt the first blow that you're going to win? Foolish, my boy. You still have a lot to learn." Francis then drew his card and had a smile on his face. "I'll start summoning by my Hack Worm(400/0). Then I'll reveal my facedown, Ultimate Offering. With this trap in play, I can pay 500 life points to additional summon another monster. So I choose to play 1000 more life points to summon out two more Hack Worms." Now Francis had two monsters out on his field as he prepared to enact his plan.
Francis' Life Points: 5500-

"Now time has come. I have enough monsters for my ultimate sacrifice." Just then thunder started to roll in as the sun was completely blocked out by dark clouds. "Finally, the time has come! The skies shall be shrouded in darkness!" Then thunder itself started to shoot the ground around Isaac and Francis. "Prepare to experience an ancient force like no other! As I sacrifice my three Hack Worms to summon out the best of your ultimate destruction! A creature whose power is absolutely limitless! Meet your maker, Isaac! For it's the last monster you'll ever see! I summon the Egyptian God Slifer the Sky Dragon!!!" Out came a monster that was so massive that its body was too long to see. It let out a bellowing roar in the face of Isaac as he held his ground.
Francis' Life Points: 5000-

"Woah! That's him... Slifer!" said Isaac as his eyes were in shock and awe.

"Quite the monster, don't you think." chuckled Francis.

"I've seen this thing in a textbook, but seeing it in person is a whole nother story!" said Isaac as he wasn't backing down from this great beast.

The girls all looked up at this great beast as they were given initial states of fear; Mr. William was in disbelief at what he was witnessing. "Stop this Francis! Only a duelist chosen by the Egyptian Gods themselves can control this creature! My grandfather warned me about the dangers that come with this card!"

Francis just smiled. "Well your grandfather was wrong, cause it seems to be working fine for me." He then turned his attention back to Isaac. "You're staring into the face of defeat, Isaac! Slifer the Sky Dragon is one of the 3 most feared creatures in history- the Egyptian God Monsters. They cannot be defeated!"

"Every monster has a weakness, Francis, and I'll find yours!" shouted Isaac.

"Please, now then allow me to explain Slifer the Sky Dragon's incredible ability. The number of cards I hold in my hand determines what Slifer's attack power will be. Right now I hold a single card in my hand, so it only has 1000 attack points." said Francis as he held up his hand.

"Well that's too bad then, I'm afraid Slifer is still weaker than my monster." said Isaac.

"You fool don't you think I came prepared for that. That's why I'll play this card, Draw Offering. So now since I hold no cards in my hand, I'm now allowed to draw three cards. I lost one card, but in the process I gained three more, giving my Slifer a total of 3000 attack points!" Slifer then powered up as it let out a huge roar.

Celestia had been watching from her window the moment she noticed the sky had drastically changed. She thought it was weird, but when she saw the reason behind it she felt her heart drop. There was the mystery person who not only stole the card, but the person engaging him in battle was none other than Isaac. She feared something like this would happen and her worst nightmares were coming true. There wasn't much she could do, but pray that Isaac would be okay and figure out some way to take that great beast down. "Alright, Isaac. You've faced countless of challenges before, now lets see if you have what it takes to do the impossible. To do what only a few duelist have managed in their careers, and that's take down an Egyptian God."

"Sure your monster may have more attack points, but don't forget that there's a limit to how many cards a player can hold, so Slifer the Sky Dragon has a limit to its strength!" shouted Isaac.

"Foolish boy! Don't you realize that every rule is made to be broken!" said Francis as he looked down at his hand and gave a huge smile on his face. "I'm afraid any hopes you have of survival and stopping me are completely in vain for you see no one has ever defeated an Egyptian God card!"

"Until now!" said Isaac.

"You're a fool! Slifer will wipe you out with one single attack! Now prepare to lose everything! HA! HA!" laughed Francis. "Now Slifer show Isaac your incredible power attack his Gazelle!" Slifer then opened its mouth and unleashed a powerful attack that destroyed Isaac's monster with ease and caused him to put his arm up as to cover up most of the assault. Safe to say that the power was mighty as it caused Isaac to stumble and fall to his knees.

The girls and Mr. William were worried about him as he took the full force of an attack from an Egyptian God card. Isaac just slowly rose to his feet and gave them all a thumbs up to show that he was fine. The girls were relieved while Mr. William was in disbelief at what he just saw. Amazing. Isaac boy just took the attack from one of Duel Monsters' most fearsome creatures and still got back up. Now I see why Celestia speaks so highly of him.

"That is all for this turn. Make your move, boy." said Francis.
Isaac's Life Points: 6500-

Turn 5: Isaac

I've got to figure out a way to bring down Francis' dragon!! Hmm. My Buster Blader receives 500 attack points for every dragon on the field, so right now my monster is stronger than his sky dragon. With 3100 attack points, my swordsman would slay Francis' dragon with one swipe of his sword. But even then I have to be careful of what he might be planning and I can't afford to take any chances.

"You see? My sky dragon will only get stronger as I draw more cards. Ha! Ha! Ha! So when I draw on my next turn, Slifer will have 4000 attack points, which is more than enough to annihilate your Buster Blader and seriously damage your life points, then soon enough you'll be out of my way." chuckled Francis. "It's all over, just give up."

"Never! I'll trust in my deck." Isaac drew his card as he let out a deep breath. This card may be able to help. But I have to be careful about what he might do. So I'll just have to hold out for one turn. Hopefully, I can be able to turn this duel around. I just have to trust the heart of the cards. "This duel is far from over, Francis."

"Please, you're finished. Just accept the defeat."

"Never, now then I'll place these two cards facedown! And I summon Kuriboh in defense mode. Make your move, Francis." With that Isaac's turn had come to a close.

Turn 6: Francis

"HA! The moment has finally arrived! Prepare to feel even more power from my Egyptian God card. You're powerless against Slifer!" Francis then drew his card. "Now since I just drew Slifer gets 1000 more attack points, now it's up to 4000! Which is more than enough to incinerate your Buster Blader!!" Slifer once again felt the power flow through its body as it let out an even more mighty cry than before. "And now, my Egyptian God monster, Attack!" Slifer opened its mouth and fired another powerful beam of energy as it was heading straight for Isaac's Buster Blader.

"Isaac!" shouted the girls, even Celestia.

Isaac then put his arm out. "You've activated my trap card!"

"Trap card!?" shouted Francis who didn't see this coming.

Isaac touched his screen and revealed his card. "My Lightforce Sword! This trap card allows me to slash one card out of your hand for the duration of the turn!"

No! thought Francis.

"Which lowers your dragon's attack points back to 3000, making it weaker than my monster! Now, Buster Blader, swing your mighty sword and slay his dragon!" Isaac order his monster to counterattack. Buster Blader then leaped high into the air as it was ready to strike down Slifer. "Your Egyptian God card is defeated."

Everybody else watched as they couldn't believe what they were about to witness. Twilight had her breath take away when she processed the situation in front of her. I can't believe it. Isaac found a way to beat that creature.

"Don't think so!"

"Huh!" Isaac was in disbelief as what he witnessed.

"The monster you sent away on second turn can now swoop in save my Slifer by taking the hit and blocking your attack. Appear now, my Hail Whirlwind." Out came a snowy bird as it jumped in front of Buster Blader's sword and shattered into tiny pieces that caused a massive snow breeze to blow and knock Buster Blader back to Isaac's side of the field. "Nice try, but it'll take more than that to defeat my Slifer, especially because once I play this card. My Guilty Pleasure spell card.

"Guilty Pleasure?" said Isaac as he hadn't heard of such a card.

"Yes, you see this rare magic card lets me draw bring back a monster from my grave and as a result I can use said monster as a shield to protect my God card. In addition, everytime I bring it back, I draw 3 more cards." Francis then picked up three more cards and added it to his hand. "This bring the cards in my hand up to 5, giving Slifer the Sky Dragon a grand total of 5000 attack points so far!"

"5000 points!?" said Isaac in shock.

"Now what!?" screamed Pinkie as she watched her big bro be put in a troubling situation.

"And now, Slifer the Sky Dragon, destroy his Buster Blader!" This time there was nothing to stop Slifer from connecting as Isaac's monster was shattered into tiny little pieces. "And take a bite out of his life points!"

"Unh!" Isaac still covered up as he stood his ground against Slifer's attack.
Isaac's Life Points: 4600-

"Do you surrender yet? You're finished. Slifer will only get stronger. And thanks to my Guilty Pleasure spell card, I can keep you at bay by blocking your attacks and then I draw even more cards, and Slifer will grow even more powerful. Don't you realize there's no way you can win!?" Francis then ended his turn.

Turn 7: Isaac

Isaac quickly looked at his cards as he was trying to figure out a plan. None of my monsters are strong enough to beat his sky dragon. So I'm gonna need the right card to do it! Come on, heart of the cards, guide me! "Here I go! Now!" Isaac drew his card and couldn't ask for a better draw. Hmm. Magic Cylinder. This card could do the trick, and I'm in luck. Perfect! "Alright, I sacrifice Kuriboh to summon Dark Magician Girl in defense mode!" Isaac played his card and out came his female spellcaster. The girls knew that this was a good sign as Isaac always found a way to turn things around in his favor using such a card.

Francis just laughed. "By summoning a new monster to the field, you've activated my dragon's special ability!"

"Oh, no!" shouted Sunset.

Slifer the opened its upper mouth as a stream of energy was starting to form. "It's second mouth! Ha! ha!"

"I'll admit Slifer is full of surprises!"

"And there's more. Even if it's your turn, Slifer will automatically attack every monster you summon with its second set of jaws, wiping out 2000 points from whichever mode your monster is in. So say goodbye to your Dark Magician Girl!" Francis was enjoying messing around with his opponent.

"This is bad, Isaac's Dark Magician Girl only has 1700 defense points." said Applejack as she started to worry about Isaac.

"Indeed, now. Slifer, attack!" Slifer then unleashed its second mouth and fired the beam of energy ball at Isaac's magician.

"Don't worry, Mana. I'll protect you. It's time for me to save my Dark Magician Girl!" said Isaac as he told her.

"You're too late! Mr. William, I hope you're watching, observe!"

"Why don't you observe, Francis!" Isaac then activated his card in time as the attack landed at that exact moment covering Francis' view.

"It really is a pity that your magician had to leave us so soon. She was quite the looker, I'll admit. You've got some great taste in choosing your monsters, Isaac."

Isaac just had a smirk on his face. "That's the thing, Francis. Who said she's gone?"

"I did!"

"Guess again! I activated Magical Hats just in time."

Francis was confused by what he saw in front of him. "So she's hiding inside one of those hats?"

"Not just hiding. She's inside preparing to launch a counterattack."

"Isaac, your monster's not strong enough! Not to defeat Slifer!"

"It's true that your dragon is powerful, Francis. But I have faith and so I'll place two cards facedown beneath my magical hats." Isaac's hats then covered up his facedowns and all remaining three spun around in a circle as they shuffled up before stopping and appearing in a row.

Turn 8: Francis

"Your hats merely provide you with a temporary hiding place. And in the meantime, Isaac. I'll play my own card and with it, I'll make my dragon's power infinite! You see I play this continuous spell card, Infinite Cards. Now this lets me exceed the 6-card limit and hold as many cards as I wish in my hand!"

"No! That can't be!" shouted Dash.

"You know the drill, since Slifer gets 1000 attack points for every card in my hand, now there's no limit to my monster's power! Slifer... unleash your Thunder Force! On the right-hand hat!!"

For the first time, Isaac said the words he didn't want to say. "You made a lucky guess, Francis!"

"Heh. You couldn't hide her forever."

"No! That move always works for Isaac, what's he going to do now?" Fluttershy was now worried as she looked away to avoid see her friend get hurt.

"Still, this duel is not over!" At that moment the attack pierced through the hat and it popped into smoke.

"It may as well be, your monster is destroyed! What's this?" Out of nowhere there were two magic cylinders that appeared. One of them was sucking in the attack, but the major thing was that Isaac's Dark Magician Girl was completely unharmed. "She's absorbing my attack!"

"That's right, Francis. It seems you've also forgotten that I hid two trap cards under that hat! Magic Cylinder and my Spellbinding Circle. So I'll weaken your sky dragon's power and then redirect his own Thunder Force attack right back at him and your life points! Fire! Say good-bye, Francis!"

"Never. You can't attack me with my Guilty Pleasure in play!" Just like before Francis' monster resurrected itself and blocked the attack.

"So your card can even block redirected attacks!?" Now Isaac was in trouble as he was banking on that last move to do the trick.

"That's exactly right. Then it's effect kicks in which also means I can draw 3 new cards. So my Sky Dragon grows even more stronger, plus I'll draw again, giving it a total of over 8000 attack points!" shouted Francis.

"I dare say things are looking bleak for Isaac boy. That Egyptian God is... unstoppable!" Mr. Williams was in so much shock that not even he knew how Isaac was going to win this.

"Precisely, Mr. Williams. And since your Spellbinding Circle card has expired, Slifer gains back more attack points, giving him 9000! Now, Slifer, demolish his Dark Magician Girl!!!" Slifer then shot its attack and it was so fast and powerful that if you blinked it would be over.

"Mana!" Isaac knew there was nothing he could do to help her as he watched his magician get destroyed.

"This is it. My Egyptian God card will continue to grow stronger, and your attacks are completely useless!" Francis then looked at Isaac's friends. "Once I've disposed of you, I'll then have my fun with your friends."

"You leave my friends out of this; I said I would defeat you Francis and that's exactly what I'm going to do! As far as I'm concerned this duel isn't over yet!"

Turn 9: Isaac

I've got to figure out a way to defeat his Egyptian God card. But it has nearly 10,000 attack points. None of my monsters even come close to that! Plus it grows stronger with every card he draws. But it must have some weakness, and I'll find it! "I draw" Hmm... Monster Reborn could come in handy. "I place one card facedown. And I summon Big Shield Gardna in defense mode! That's all."

Turn 10: Francis

"Don't tell me you've forgotten that by summoning a monster you activate me dragon's special ability? Let me remind you, by blasting your monster!" Slifer the opened its mouth and zapped the strength of Isaac's monster. "This surge of energy from my dragon's second mouth will drain your Big Shield Gardna of two thousand defense points!" He let out a chuckle. "Your Big Shield has been cut to size and my Egyptian God card will continue to automatically devaste your monsters as soon as they're summoned to the field! Just one more attack and your only defense will be demolished, leaving nothing in between you and Slifer! So do you still put your faith in your cards?"

"How is Isaac suppose to take that thing down? Each turn Slifer just gets more powerful and all his monsters either get weaker or will be destroyed. What does he do, darlings?" Rarity was really starting to worry for her friend.

"We just have to have faith that Isaac can turn this around, how I don't know? Come on, Isaac! Pull something out your ass?" said Sunset.

"Now observe, while I draw! And as you know Slifer gets 1000 attack points for every card in my hand, I count 11. Which gives my dragon 11,000 attack points! It feels so good to have so much power." chuckled Francis. "Now, my sky dragon, attack! Eradicate his shield, the only thing that stands in the way of his destruction!" Slifer then got rid of Isaac's monster with ease as now Isaac had nothing left on his field. "You're completely defenseless, Isaac! The next time my sky dragon attacks you'll be finished! It's undefeatable, you fool!"

I can't let Francis win, not after all that's he done. He needs to answer for what he's done. But I've never faced anything so powerful! Slifer is just too strong! And the more cards that he draws, the stronger it gets! Wait a minute... Yes! "And that's how I'll defeat it!" Isaac had finally figured out his plan to take down Slifer. "I just figured out a plan to take down your Egyptian God, Francis!"

Isaac's comment caused everybody to have surprised looks on their faces. Francis just had unamusing expression as he thought Isaac was just bluffing. "What makes you think you can!?"

"Ah.. it's a simple matter of common sense. If all of my monsters are too weak to damage Slifer, then I must turn my attention elsewhere."

"Perhaps, you're not as bright as you think? Haven't you realized yet that an Egyptian God card cannot be controlled? It's much too powerful!"

Isaac just had a smirk on his face. "We'll see about that!"

"Huh?"

"Perhaps you don't have as much knowledge about the Egyptian God cards as you think you do!" replied Isaac.

"How dare you question my authority? I've been working for Mr. William for nearly 20 years and I've learned all about the secrets and strengths of Slifer. I know all!" shot back Francis.

"We'll find out how much you know soon enough, Francis!"

"This should be amusing. I'd like to see you try to turn Slifer against me! Now then, make your move. I promise it will be your last!" commanded Francis.

Turn 11: Isaac

"Is that so!? We'll see, Francis!" Isaac then drew his card. "To start I'll play my Pot of Greed, so now I'll draw two more cards." If I don't draw the right card now, his sky dragon will crush me! But I know that my deck will guide me! Isaac then put his hand on his deck as he was about to draw. "Now! Perfect!" Isaac then held his card up.

"Mmm... well, what is it!?" Francis was confused about what Isaac was holding.

"Just what I need to take you down! Now time to lose Francis, so I'll start by playing this spell Magician Fortification. This card allows me to special summon a spellcaster to my field from my deck; furthermore it can't be targeted by special effects when it's summoned. So your Slifer's second mouth ability won't work, now appear my most loyal companion. Dark Magician!" Isaac called out his most powerful spellcaster as it struck an intimidating pose.

"So you have managed to summon your monster, but that will not save. In my next turn your monster and your life points will be completely wiped out!"

"I'm afraid that there isn't going to be a next turn for you! Now after I activate this, I play my Dark Magic Attack spell card."

"How foolish, spell cards don't work on an Egyptian God! You just wasted your turn!"

"You know for someone who worked for Mr. William for 20 years, I'd expect you to know all about every single card in Duel Monsters. Cause if you had, you would have seen the answer right in front of you. Because Dark Magic Attack isn't targeting you monster, it's targeting your spell and trap zone."

"What!?" Francis was now concerned as a bead of sweat rolled down the side of his face.

"That's right now that I control Dark Magician, I can destroy every single one of your spell and trap cards. Which means once Infinite Cards is gone, you'll now have to discard your entire hand until you're holding the maximum card limit!" Dark Magician then shot a powerful spell as it took out Francis' back row. "You may have destroyed my combo, but Slifer is still powerful and I'll have enough cards in my hand to wipe you out. Which means he's still strong enough to take down your Dark Magician. It's over, you made a decent attempt at one final stand."

"I'm not done Francis, next from my hand I'll play this spell Card of Sanctity. Now we each draw till we're both six cards in our hands. Lastly, I'll play Graceful Charity to pick up three more cards and discard two. Then I'll play this one card facedown and end my turn."

Turn 12: Francis

"A pity, now watch. I may have to discard my hand at the end of my turn, but till then I have enough power to wipe you out. Especially since I have 12 cards in my hand and now Slifer has 12,000 attack points!" Slifer let out a cry as it felt the power surge. "Now Slifer, take out that annoying little roach. Thunder Force Attack!"

"Not gonna happen, cause I banish Electromagnetic Turtle to immediately end the battle phase." shouted Isaac. As his tiny monster had managed to put a halt to Slifer's attack.

"No!!!!" screamed Francis as he saw his great monster starting to lose power.

"And with that, your turn comes to an end which means you must now discard your entire hand till you're holding six. Which means Slifer is no longer unbeatable." shouted Isaac as Slifer was now getting weaker.

Turn 13: Isaac

"Now time to end this, draw. First I'll play Strength by the Numbers, I can activate this card when a monster on the field has a change in its stats; then I can give that same amount and boost another monster on the field. So since Slifer had his attack points changed from 11,000 to 6000, my Dark Magician now gets a boost of 5000 points which raises his total strength to 7500!" Mahad then felt the power flowing through him as he felt the effect of his master's card. "Now Dark Magician, take out his Egyptian God. Dark Magic Attack!"

"Not quite, one the cards I discard was my Survival Brutality. With this I can take away all the life points of my monster and add them to my life points."
Francis' Life Points: 11,000-

Dark Magician then leaped high into the air as it twirled its staff before pointing it Slifer as it was defenseless and shot a powerful blast that took it out. Once that was done, there was nothing left as Slifer was nowhere to be seen. Everybody around Isaac, and even Celestia who was watching from her office had the biggest jaw drops as they witness that Isaac had managed to defeat an Egyptian God.
Francis' Life Points: 3500-

"Not bad, you actually took down Slifer. But yet you still couldn't beat me, once your turn ends I'll revive Slifer and wipe you out."

"Like I said, Francis. There isn't going to be another turn, not after this. I'll reveal my final facedown, Monster Reborn. With this I can bring back one monster from the card graveyard and I chose to bring back Slifer the Sky Dragon!" Now it was Isaac's turn to control the mighty beast as it led out a powerful roar. Slifer then appeared in all of its glory as it now appeared on Isaac's side of the field. Slifer then examined Isaac as to see if it was worthy of control it; for a second, Slifer noticed/sensed the aura surrounding Isaac as it reminded it of its original owner. He saw Isaac as someone worthy and so it obeyed Isaac's command.

"Now gains 1000 attack and defense points for every card that I'm holding in my hand. And right now I'm holding 7 cards which means Slifer has a total of 7000 attack and defense points." Francis now saw that he was done for as he didn't answer Isaac's comment. "Now Slifer finish this duel, attack with your Thunder Force attack!!!" Isaac thrusted his hand out as Slifer opened its mouth and powered up its attack; then once it gathered enough power it then turned to Francis and unleashed a devastating attack.

"This can't be! How could I lose with an Egyptian God!?" The attack then covered Francis as it wiped out his field and he dropped to his knees.
Francis' Life Points: 0-

Winner: Isaac

"That's game, bro." Isaac then looked at Slifer who was staring at him. Despite it not showing much emotion, Isaac could sense that Slifer was a bit happy as it let out a soft growl. Then it disappeared along with his Dark Magician. It was an honor to meet ya, Slifer. Thanks for everything. Isaac was about to start moving when he was suddenly tackled to the floor.

"You're okay! I can't believe it, you actually did it! I was afraid you wouldn't come back to us." shouted Twilight who was hugging Isaac with all her strength as she was worried for her friend.

"Okay, okay. I get it. I'm sorry, but can let me go Twilight? It's kind of hard to breath with you hugging me." Isaac was trying his best to relieve some of the pressure that Twilight had; eventually she let go and gave him a quick stern talking about doing something so dangerous. But deep down, she was glad that Isaac was okay.

Sometime after Francis was apprehended as Mr. William's bodyguards came and took him away. The Slifer the Sky Dragon replica card was then handed back over to Mr. William. He looked at the card and was thankful that everything was back to normal. To think that Isaac boy actually did it. There's only one other person whose done what he just did in a longtime; seems he's someone to keep a close eye on. He's got a bright future ahead. "I must express my deepest condolences, Isaac boy. I see why Celestia holds you in such high regards. I dare say that I look forward to seeing what you do next. Who knows, I may have even witness the birth of a new legend."

"Thanks for praise, Mr. Williams." Isaac then shook his hand to show his respect.

With that everything was back to normal. Mr. William had managed to get back his card, the intruder was caught and everything at CHS would return as they were before. However the big thing was that Isaac was smiling ear to ear, as he really got to go toe-to-toe with an Egyptian God card. With that Mr. William thanked the group and boarded his chopper and soon he was on his way back to Industrial Illusions. Celestia was still watching from her office as she had a small smile on her face. She was concerned with how Isaac was going to perform against such a card, but he proved that he could handle the pressure. Nevertheless she knew that she had to address Isaac for disobeying her orders, though she probably wouldn't scold him as much seeing as how Twilight was there to do that for her.

Well that is a pretty crazy duel.

Just a couple of errors I see too btw..

Francis actually wouldn't have discarded all of those cards when Infinity Hand got destroyed, not till the end of his turn.
Since the rule is if the Turn Player end his/her turn while having more than 6 cards in their hand, they discard till they have 6.

Card of Sanctity doesn't activate during the Battle Phase from the hand, even if there's a rule from Battle City still used where spells(even non-Quick-Play spells) can be activated anytime if they got set, Isaac couldn't activate the card from his hand during the Battle Phase actually.
