Chapter 185: Greater Evil

Starlight had just left Applejack and Lucky Star as Sunburst had returned.

"So, how'd you do?" asked the boy.

"Sunburst, have you forgotten who your best friend is?" said Starlight with some seductiveness in her tone as she touched the boy's cheek.

"My bad, of course you won."

"Now then, did you get what I requested?" asked Starlight as she dropped the act and returned back to her normal attitude.

"Yes, I had chance to speak with them and they're willing to meet with us tomorrow." said Sunburst.

"Excellent. And until then, I'll keep taking down the girls one by one, in fact, I already know who I want to target next." smiled Starlight as she and Sunburst left the school grounds.

Later that day, Applejack had returned to the house as she was greeted by Pinkie and Dash as they asked her what happened as she had a bit of a scuff on her mouth as the country gal wiped it off.

"So, Starlight got you as well?" said Dash.

"Yeah, not even mah monsters nor mah dragons could take down that beast of hers." said Aj.

"No joke, to think that beast of hers took down Isaac. Which means it's hell a powerful." responded Rainbow.

"She also said, I was the third person she defeated. But she's only defeated you so far."

"Not really, she told the truth." Rainbow then told the country gal about what happened with their shy friend. Seems they heard from Bryant how he was waiting for Fluttershy to show up for their lesson but never did. So when he went looking he arrived at the moment the duel ended as he rushed to check on her.

"So, she really is taking us all out." said Pinkie as she pulled out some comfort sweets for her friends as they smiled at their party pal and ate the sweet. "Any idea who she might target next?"

"No idea, but be careful Pinkie." said Rainbow. "That new beast that Starlight has, I dare say it might be the key to helping her with executing her plan."

The three of them all began to talk to see if anything new concerning Isaac was heard but nothing. Aj then asked how Twilight was doing, as they told her she was slightly getting better, but overall she did miss the boy.

Ever since Isaac had disappeared, Sunset was the one who comforted her friend the most as she resonated with losing someone you cared about. While the bacon-haired friend did her best, she knew that the only way for Twilight to get over the disappearance of Isaac was for her to get over on her own. But Sunset also had to offer some support whenever she and the others can.

It was now the next day as everybody was going about their classes. Sunset at her locker as she opened it and saw some pictures that were hanging on the door. She began to look at them as she stopped on one as it was a picture of Isaac.

"Where are you, boy toy? Twilight is worried about you, so are the others. I get you losing, but why would you run away? You told me that you can't run from your problems. You can try to avoid them as much as you can, but at some point you'll have to face them." said Sunset. "Was losing to Starlight so bad that you had to disappear? Does winning mean that much to you? I just... wherever you are... know that me and the girls are holding down the fort, but with Starlight running havoc, I don't know how long we can hold out. Please come back, Isaac. We need you, I need you." She then closed her locker door as she let out a sigh as she began to walk. Sunset then turned the corner and stopped in her tracks when she saw who was in front of her.

"Hello, Sunset."

"Starlight."

At that moment, the air turned dead silent as a cold breeze blew over the two girls as they stared at one another. Nothing, but their eyes was shown as it told the entire story. Both girls held an intense look as the aura surrounding each other was resonating off and colliding with each other as it had the recipe for disaster and chaos. Starlight and Sunset then crossed their arms as they held their ground as neither was showing any sign of weakness. Starlight then smiled as she snapped her fingers as Sunburst then handed her a device as she touched it and up came some info as she smiled.

"Sunset Shimmer. One of the top students of CHS, former bully that made people lives a literal hell, was unbeatable and untouchable when it came to ruling this school with an iron fist. But... then he came along, he convinced you to change your ways and then it's been happiness since then. My does that sound like a happy ending. Not to mention that he gave you your Red-Eyes and have since continued to win earning you a 96-97% win ratio." said Starlight as the device she was hold shut off as she finished reading her analysis and gave it back to Sunburst.

"What do you want, Starlight?" asked the bacon-haired girl.

"Just wondering, how's life without your boy toy?"

"Nobody calls Isaac 'boy toy', except me." said Sunset.

"Ohh, is that your sensitive spot?" taunted the girl. "I do wonder, why did Isaac choose Twilight over you? I mean look at you, you're hot, beautiful, sexy, flawless, I might add. And yet through all that, he didn't ask you to be his girlfriend."

"Isaac made his choice, me and the others respect him being with Twilight. Besides, I get my fun with him whenever I want." stated Sunset.

"Yes, and you could so easily get him to be your plaything cause all you would need to do is show him the goods. Ain't that right?" mocked the girl. "If I was Twilight, I'd be afraid to know that my best friend could easily snatch away my boyfriend, cause I didn't have the proper assets to please his every sexual desire."

"I would never steal Isaac from Twilight. He made his decision on who he wants to be in a relationship with. We respect it and we follow Twilight's rules."

"Except you." replied Starlight.

"What are you talking about?" asked Sunset with a scowl.

"Let me give you a life lesson, if you'll allow me. The world is so pained, for someone so much, it becomes obsession. It becomes a sin. Now, love, love can be blinding. It could cloud your judgement. Love can consume your well-being and it could very well cost you everything that you worked so hard for. But you, you're in luck, friend, because I have decided to reach deep inside of you and rip out that love like a cancer. And I'm gonna now fill this empty void with good old-fashioned fear, for fear is much stronger than any love could ever be. Think about it now. Sooner or later, you're just gonna have to watch everything you love fade away. And what will you do when that one thing you love so much, that one thing you cannot live without with is taken from you? I ask you, I'm doing you a favor, girl. So pay close attention, friend. I'm talking to you." said Starlight.

"Look whatever philosophical line or message you want to spew out for me to join your side, forget it. I've been down this path before, and it doesn't end well. You're only going to get hurt, or worst. Plus, I'm much happier where I am now, so don't even waste your breath. I'm never betraying my friends." said Sunset as she flipped her hair and began to walk past Starlight and Sunburst.

"So, tell me... you still hold that jealous in your heart?" asked Starlight with a sly smile as it got Sunset to stop dead in her tracks. "Tell me, do you still love Isaac?"

"What do you mean?" asked Sunset as she turned back to look at the pair.

"Don't play dumb, Sunset. You never told anybody this, but the moment you laid eyes on Isaac, you were in love. Now you didn't show it, but I could tell in your mind, despite you being the bad girl, you wanted him all to yourself." snickered Starlight. "And it pains you that Twilight snuck her way right into Isaac's heart and stole him away before you could make your move on him."

"Twilight didn't steal Isaac, she confessed her feelings and that's that."

"Is that the bullshit excuse you tell yourself? What about the day of the Spring Fling? Hmm, you had Isaac all to yourself, in your room, nobody to interrupt, you had him pinned under your hands and on your bed. So, what stopped you from going the extra mile? Hmm. What stopped you from enjoying some pleasure? Some excitement? Imagine what he would have done to you, how he would have held you, whispered into your ear as you let out moans of pleasure, imagine him inside of you. What stopped you from doing that?" asked Starlight with a smile.

"Don't go there!" shouted Sunset.

"Answer the question, Sunset. Why? Why? Why didn't you let Isaac take you to bed? What stopped you? You had the perfect opportunity to confess your feelings? You two would be the 'it' couple, and yet you let that escape right through your fingers. So I think me and everybody else reading right now wants to know, why didn't you make Isaac your boyfriend? Did you really let Twilight win the jackpot, because you felt sorry for her."

"Enough!" shouted the girl. "I'll admit, yes I did fall in love with Isaac the moment I laid eyes on him. A bad girl like me and a good guy like him, oh who wouldn't be turned on by that. I so badly wanted him for myself. I desired him, I lusted for him, I wanted him to hold me, to kiss me, to love me, to take me to bed, and yet... I didn't because I knew if I did that. I just be like who I was before, a selfish person looking to fulfill her own pleasures of life. And yeah, I'll admit this, I was jealous of Twilight. Jealous that every single moment, she spent with Isaac meant some pleasure, pleasure that I wanted, I desired, I needed, oh I still think about it to this day. What if? What if, I continued with Isaac, making it to second base then third base, then sliding into home base? Oh, it gets my heart thumping. But yet, through all that, I made the decision to not interfere with his relationship with Twilight. That would be the ultimate betrayal of our friendship, something I personally vowed to never do again." said Sunset.

"But you best believe that if I wanted to, if I really, really, really, wanted Isaac to make love to me, to get him to forget about Twilight and focus all his attention on me. I have the assets for a boy like him to want me." said the bacon-haired girl.

"So you do, and now she knows." said Starlight with a smug smile as her eyes looked away.

Sunset then raised any eyebrow at what Starlight was looking at, she then followed in the direction she was looking at as she turned around and let out a gasp. Standing a few feet away was Twilight herself as she had heard the whole conversation with the girls, especially the part about Sunset saying she could steal away Isaac with ease. Sunset didn't know what to say as there stood one of her close friends. Twilight just looked at her friend as she started to walk away.

"Twilight, please... let me explain... it's not what you think!" shouted Sunset to her friend but she was already tuning her friend out as she walked down the hallway with her head down as a small tear rolled down her cheek.

"Twilight, I didn't mean to say it like that." said Sunset softly.

"Looks like the cat's out of the bag." snickered Starlight.

Sunset balled up her fists as she grabbed Starlight by her shirt and pressed her against the wall as she held her there, but Starlight just had a sick evil smile on her face.

"You are going to pay for that you son of a bitch!" growled Sunset.

"I wasn't the one who hurt Twilight, you did. So that's on you. You just said what was in your heart, you let your true feelings out. It's not her fault she's so sensitive when it comes to sharing her boyfriend. She knew what type of things you like to do with Isaac, she's just lucky you haven't taken each other's virginities." said Starlight as that was the last straw Sunset needed as she had completely snapped.

"That's it! You and me, we end this!" shouted the bacon-haired girl.

"I was hoping you'd say that." laughed Starlight manically as Sunset let the girl down as she was still laughing. Sunset was now walking away as Starlight let out a mad laugh as she the scene transitioned.

Seems word got out that Sunset was challenging Starlight to a duel, as it was something that everybody was looking forward to. Soon a small crowd began to gather on the field as they wanted to see these two girls throwdown.

"You sure?" stated Penny as Sunset told her what happened. Despite hearing what Sunset said to upset Twilight, she knew it was Starlight trying to get under her skin.

"Positive." stated the bacon-haired girl.

"Very well then, be careful Teach." stated Penny as she left to watch from the sideline.

Sunset entered on the dueling field as she prepped her deck for her fight. She look up around seeing if Twilight was around, since that incident earlier in the day, she had been texting her friend so that they could talk about what was said in the hall. But Twilight just ignored her messages. Ultimately, Sunset said that if she did want to talk, then she would be challenging Starlight to a duel as the place to find her. Sunset then looked back at her deck as she couldn't focus on whether or not, Twilight was watching as she had bigger things to worry about. Soon Starlight came into view as it seemed some of the students watching were intrigued by the girl as they had been listening to her messages about change.

"Okay, just got to take on Starlight and beat her before she summons that monster of hers. From what Aj and Rainbow told me, is that her new beast can attack twice per turn, then it can use an overlay unit to return all her Constellar Xyz monsters to her Extra Deck and give her monster a 500 attack boost for each one returned. Then she could also use an overlay unit to negate all spells and traps on my field." said Sunset as she was repeating the information to herself. "However, I feel like that's not the only powers that card has, especially from what Pinkie and Rainbow told me that Starlight has two Rank-Up Magic cards in her deck, the question is: does she have more?"

Starlight then whispered into Sunburst's ear as the boy looked at his best friend and nodded as he left. With that, the girl then strapped on her duel disk as it projected a pale, light grayish heliotrope light. Sunset then slid in her deck as it projected a red card tray.

"Opponent detected. Streaming data. Duel mode set. Initiating. Commencing duel." said their duel disks.

Sunset's Life Points: 8000-

Turn 1: Sunset

"I'll start things off," said Sunset as she drew her card, "I summon my Gearfried the Red-Eyes Iron Knight(1800/1600)!" Sunset's warrior then rose up as it let out a cry as it appeared on the field. "I'll then end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 2: Starlight

"My turn," said Starlight as she drew her card and looked at Sunset's field.

No doubt, Sunset is an incredible duelist. She's gone toe to toe with Isaac in the past and has a few wins against him, but they were practice rounds, nothing more than mere training. Still, if anybody could take down the boy, Sunset would be a good pick... that is... if I didn't do it already.

"I'll begin this duel by summoning my Constellar Aldebaran(1300/800). And by summoning my Aldebaran, I can now special summon one Level 3 'Constellar' monster from my hand, so I choose my Constellar Sheratan(700/1900)." Two portals opened up as out came Starlight's monsters. "With that, I'll now overlay both my monsters to build the Overlay Network!" Starlight's monsters then transformed into two dark orbs of light as they hovered in the air for a bit as a portal opened up in front of the girl. Soon both lights entered the portal as a pillar of light emerged. "I Xyz Summon, Constellar Hyades(1900/1100, OLU: 2)!!" Starlight's monster emerged as it wielded its weapons in its hands as it took a stance in front of the girl.

"I'll now end my turn."

Turn 3: Sunset

"She's not attacking, smart on her move." smiled Sunset.

"I'd be a fool to attack Sunset's monster, without considering her facedown. Plus the damage won't even faze her, best to wait out and play the long game." said Starlight to herself.

"I draw, and I'll play Cards of the Red Stone. So by sending my Red-Eyes Toon Dragon from both my hand and deck, I can draw two cards." Sunset's duel disk then ejected her card as she grabbed both monsters and sent them into the graveyard slot as she picked up some more cards. "Now I'll play Red-Eyes Baby Dragon(1200/700) in defense mode." Sunset now had a small dragon appeared as it let out a small fireball as it saw the girl as it flew over to her and landed in Sunset's arms as it nuzzled the girl as it saw her as its mother.

"My sweet little baby. I love you too." smiled Sunset as she petted her tiny dragon as she gave it a lovely hug and a kiss on it head as it then flew back to its position.

"I now end my turn."

Turn 4: Starlight

"My draw!" said Starlight.

She didn't attack either, guess we're a lot alike. smiled Starlight as she did admire Sunset's thought process when it came to dueling.

"I'll play the spell Constellar Star Chart, then since I control a 'Constellar' monster, I can special summon my Constellar Caduceus(1600/1550)." Starlight now had another one of her monsters arise as it wielded its staff. "Now my Caduceus allows me to add a 'Constellar' spell or trap card to my hand." Starlight then used her duel disk screen as she selected which one she wanted as it slot out for her to grab. "Now I'll have my Constellar Caduceus attack your Red-Eyes Baby Dragon!" shouted the girl as her monster then pointed its staff at Sunset's monster and fired a spell card as it took out the tiny dragon.
Sunset's Life Points: 7600-

"Now, my monster's effect activates, since it was destroyed by battle, I can special summon one Level 7 or lower 'Red-Eyes' monster from my deck and then I attach my dragon to that monster to give it 300 extra attack points. So I choose my Red-Eyes Archfiend of Lightning(2500/1200)!" Sunset's new monster then emerged as it was a fiend as it appeared in a pillar of fire from the ground as the people around them was they took in the girl's monster as it let out a cry.

"Hmm, well then, I end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 5: Sunset

"My turn, and now I'll activate my Archfiend's special ability, so now I can destroy all of your face-up monsters on your field that have lower defense points than my monster's attack points." said Sunset. Her monster then had its claws ignite with electricity as it struck the ground as pillars of fire then erupted from the ground as it circled around Starlight's two monsters as they both were gone.

"And now I'll attack, Archfiend strike her down!" shouted Sunset as her monster then struck the ground once more as another pillar of fire exploded near Starlight as she put her arm up to protect herself from the flames.
Starlight's Life Points: 5500-

"And now Gearfried attack her!"

"No! I reveal my facedown, Xyz Reborn. So now my Constellar Hyades rises up once more!" said Starlight as her monster rose up as it caused Sunset's monster to stop in its tracks.

"Gearfried, stand down!" called out Sunset as her monster then jumped back to its mistress side of the field. "Very good move."

"Why thank you." responded Starlight.

"I'll end my turn."

Turn 6: Starlight

"My turn, and now I'll use Hyades' special ability, by using one overlay unit, I can change all your monsters to defense mode." said Starlight as her monster lifted up its staff as its Xyz materials was absorbed into it as it fired the spell over Sunset's field as her monsters then changed their battle modes.

"Next, I summon my Constellar Kaus(1800/700)." A monster in silver armor jumped in front of Starlight, this one wielding a large silver and gold bow. "Now time to attack, Constellar Hyades attack her Red-Eyes Archfiend and Constellar Kaus attack her Gearfried!" shouted Starlight as both of her monsters raised their weapons and took out Sunset's two monsters.

"I activate my facedown, Red-Eyes Burn! Now if a 'Red-Eyes' monster is destroyed, then we both take damage to one of those monster's attack points. And I choose my Red-Eyes Archfiend of Lightning!" Sunset's facedown then flipped up two pillars of fire shot in two directions as they collided with both girls who put their arms up to cover up.
Starlight's Life Points: 3000-

Sunset's Life Points: 5100-

"Now the other effect of my Red-Eyes Baby Dragon activates, so now I can add one Level 1 dragon from my deck or graveyard to my hand." Sunset's duel disk then ejected her card as she grabbed it.

Not only did she get to add a monster to her hand, but she had a trap waiting for when her monster was destroyed. And she was able to burn my life points down to 3000. Very good, no wonder Isaac enjoys dueling against her. Sunset is a formidable opponent.

"In that case, I'll end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 7: Sunset

"My draw, and now I'll play the card I got when I used my Red-Eyes Baby Dragon's effect, my Black Stone of Legend((0/0). Then I'll activate my stone's effect, so I can tribute it so that I can special summon one Level 7 or lower 'Red-Eyes' monster from my deck, so rise up, Red-Eyes B. Dragon!" shouted Sunset as soon her ace dragon rose up in a flash of light as it let out a roar as it caused some of the students watching to cover their ears from the loud noise from the beast.

"So, Sunset's dragon is now here." Starlight then began to examine the beast as she had seen images of it in textbooks and videos, but to get the chance to see one up close, that alone was enough for her to admire the beast.

"Now, Red-Eyes attack her Constellar Hyades! Inferno Fire Blast!" shouted the girl as her dragon then opened its mouth and shot a fireball as it made contact with the monster as it exploding in flames.
Starlight's Life Points: 2500-

"With that I end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 8: Starlight

"My draw, and I'll summon my Constellar Sombre(1550/1600). Then I'll use Kaus' ability to raise both him and Sombre's level by one." Kaus then pointed its bow up into the air as it fired two arrows as two showers of stardust and particles appeared above their heads. "I now overlay my Level 5 Constellar Kaus and Constellar Sombre in order to build the Overlay Network!" Starlight's two monsters then transformed into dark orbs of light as they hovered in the air for a bit as a portal opened up in front of the girl. Soon both lights entered the portal as a pillar of light emerged. "I Xyz Summon, Constellar Pleiades(2500/1500, OLU: 2)!" Starlight's monster emerged in a shower of particles as it pointed its weapon at Starlight's opponent. "And I draw an extra card thanks to my Constellar Star Chart." stated the girl.

"Now I'll activate my Pleiades' special ability, by using one overlay unit, I can return a card on your side of the field and I choose your Red-Eyes Black Dragon." informed Starlight as Sunset's beast was now gone as it transformed into a light as it zoomed back to her hand.

"With no monsters to protect you, Constellar Pleiades attack her directly!" shouted Starlight as her monster brought its weapon down on the girl as she covered up as the attack made contact.
Sunset's Life Points: 2600-

"Now our life points are almost the same." chuckled Starlight. "I now end my turn."

Turn 9: Sunset

"My turn, and now I'll play the spell Polymerization to combine my Red-Eyes and my Summoned Skull together!" Sunset's two monsters then appeared next to their mistress as a vortex opened up as it sucked in the two monsters in a color of orange and purple as a red light emerged. "I Fusion Summon, Archfiend Black Skull Dragon(3200/2500)!" Sunset's new monster emerged from the vortex in the red light as her monster had flames all over its body and had lightning go off as it let out a huge roar that caused the students watching this duel to cover their ears.

"Now time to end this duel, Archfiend Black Skull Dragon attack her Constellar Pleiades!" said Sunset.

"I activate my facedown, Negate Attack! So now the battle immediately ends!" said Starlight as she managed to survive.

"Lucky break, I'll activate the effect of my Black Stone of Legend to add it to my hand and shuffle my Red-Eyes B. Dragon back into my deck." Sunset's duel disk then ejected her two cards as she added one to her hand as she placed the other on top of her deck as the autoshuffler kicked in.

"I end my turn."

Turn 10: Starlight

"Now my turn, and I'll use my Constellar Pleiades to construct the Overlay Network!" Starlight's sole monster then turned into an orb of light as it hovered in the air for a bit as a portal opened up in front of the girl. It then entered the portal as a pillar of light emerged, the crowd went wild as Starlight’s monster glowed brightly, a golden silhouette weaving in the air around it. “With the galaxy as your guiding light, gallop down the path to the cosmos and take flight among the brightest stars!” She thrust her fist into the air. “Rank-Up, Xyz Evolution!” Constellar Pleiades burst apart in rays of light, the rays striking the silhouette around them and filling it out. “Using a Constellar Xyz monster I control as the sole Xyz Material; I Xyz Summon, arise and unleash your celestial fury, Constellar Ptolemy M7(2700/2000, OLU: 2)!” The shape shattered to reveal a large silver and gold dragon, wings of the night sky spread into the air and its tail coiling down and around Starlight.

"Now, my Constellar Star Chart activates to let me draw a card. I'll then use my Ptolemy M7's special ability, and so by using one overlay unit, I target your Archfiend Black Skull Dragon and send it back to your hand, but since it's a fusion monster, it goes to the Extra Deck!" said Starlight as her dragon absorbed its Xyz material as it the show a celestial light at Sunset's monster as it let out a roar as it turned into a light and was zapped back to Sunset's duel disk as it returned to the Extra Deck.

"My monster!" said Sunset as she had nothing to protect her.

"Now then, what did you say about being defenseless. Well, you're right, only it wasn't me. Now Ptolemy M7 finish her off!" commanded Starlight.

"Like you, I also have a facedown, my Defense Draw! Now all battle damage that I take becomes zero and I draw a card!" A wall of cards then appeared in front of Sunset as Starlight's attack made contact as it was being reflected and bounced off as the bacon-haired girl survived. Soon it died down as the wall of cards disappeared as Sunset pick the top card of her deck and added it to her hand.

"Very clever, in that case, I'll end my turn with two facedowns."

Turn 11: Sunset

"My turn, I draw! I play the spell card, Advanced Ritual Art, this allows me to ritual summon a monster by sending normal-type monsters from my deck, so I'll send my Dark Blade so that I can ritual summon my Paladin of Dark Dragon(1900/1200)!" said Sunset as out came a red light as a monster emerged which consisted of a rider and dragon all covered in black as they wore dark armor.

"That monster is far too weak to take on my Ptolemy M7." informed Starlight.

"That's true, but I'm not done. Now I'll activate its special ability, so by tributing it, I can special summon one 'Red-Eyes' monster from my deck or hand. So rise up, Red-Eyes B. Dragon!" shouted Sunset as her duel disk ejected her card from her deck as she held it up high in the air a red light came from it. Her dragon was now back as it let out a roar. "Next up, I'm summoning my Black Stone of Legend and then tribute it so that I can special summon my Red-Eyes Alternative Black Dragon(2400/2000) from my deck!" A second dragon then rose up as it came in a red light as well as it too let out a roar. Sunset now had a pair of dragons as they looked to help their mistress win.

"Another dragon, and yet it's the same. It's far too weak to take down my monster." shouted Starlight.

"That's why I'm not done, I overlay my two Level 7 dragons!" shouted the girl as her monsters had a red light envelop them as they turned into dark orbs of light as they hovered in the air for a bit as a portal opened in front of the girl. Soon both orb entered the portal as a pillar of light emerged as a new dragon was coming out as its entire body was in a shadow outline as its eyes glowed bright red. "I Xyz Summon, Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon(2800/2400, OLU: 2)!!" Sunset's new dragon emerged as it let out a roar as smoke came from its mouth as it let out a fierce roar with it materials circling around it.

"As long as my monster has Xyz materials, it can't be destroyed by card effects. And while it has Xyz materials, everytime you activate a card or effect, you take 500 points of damage." informed Sunset.

"What?" said Starlight.

"Now, Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon attack her Ptolemy M7!" shouted the girl as her monster began to open its mouth.

"I activate my facedown, Xyz Encore!" shouted Starlight as one of her facedowns flipped up. "Now I target one monster on your side of the field that has Xyz materials, and this spell lets me detach them all!" said Starlight as a beam of energy came from her card and then shot towards Sunset's dragon as its overlay units were sent away. "But it doesn't stop there, cause now your monster is sent back to the Extra Deck and any monsters that were materials that were sent away are special summoned to back to the field. And their levels are decreased by 1." Sunset now had her two dragons back on her field.

"So you got rid of my monster." stated Sunset.

"Indeed, now your dragons are weaker than my Constellar Ptolemy M7. So, care to attack?"

"I end my battle phase."

"Then I'll activate my other facedown, Xyz Import!" shouted Starlight as her other facedown flipped over. "Now I target one Xyz monster that I control and one monster that you control that has less than or equal attack points than my monster that I selected, and that monster becomes an overlay unit for my monster to use. So I'll take your Red-Eyes Alternative Black Dragon!" Sunset's dragon then transformed into a light it transform into an orb as it circled around Constellar Ptolemy M7.

"I end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 12: Starlight

"My turn, and I'll summon my Constellar Rasalhague(900/100). Then I'll play Pot of Greed to draw two more cards. Next I'll activate its special ability, so by tributing it, I can special summon a 'Constellar' monster from my graveyard, or hand in face-up defense position. And I choose my Constellar Zubeneschamali(2100/1400). And by summoning my Zubeneschamali, I can add a 'Constellar' monster from my deck to my hand." Starlight then used her duel screen as she looked at her options and then smiled as she clicked confirm and picked the one she wanted as it slid out for her to grab. "I'll then activate this, my Rank-Up Magic Constellation Force!"

"Oh, no! Then that means..." stated Sunset.

"I can now summon an Xyz monster from my graveyard and use it to Xyz Summon a monster that's one rank higher!" Starlight's Hyades then appeared as it turned into an orb of light as it hovered in the air for a bit as a portal opened up in front of the girl. Soon it entered the portal as a pillar of light emerged. "Go Rank-Up Xyz Evolution! Emerge, Constellar Omega(2400/500, OLU: 1)!" The golden light burst, revealing a centaur in gold and silver armor with one spark of gold light circling it.

"And now my Constellar Star Chart gives me an extra card." stated the girl as she drew the top card of her deck.

"Huh?" said Sunset as she was shocked.

"Were you expecting a different monster perhaps?" asked Starlight with a smug smile.

"Enough messing around!" shouted Sunset.

"Oh, your right. I'm done playing games, time to win. Now then how should I go about this, I think I'll start off by activating my Constellar Omega's special ability, by using one overlay unit, all my 'Constellar' monsters can't be affected by your spell or trap cards. So if you plan to use your facedown, forget about it. Now, Constellar Ptolemy M7 take out her Red-Eyes!" shouted the girl as her monster fired a powerful energy beam as it collided with Sunset's dragon as it caused the girl to put her arms up.
Sunset's Life Points: 2300-

"And now Constellar Omega finish her!"

"I reveal my facedown!"

"I told you, your spells and traps can't affect my monsters."

"I'm not doing that, I reveal Red-Eyes Spirit. So now I can bring back a 'Red-Eyes' monster, and I pick my Red-Eyes Archfiend of Lightning!" shouted Sunset as she now had a monster who was stronger than Starlight's monster as it stopped in its tracks.

"Impressive."

"You could have won this duel right now, if you Ptolemy M7's special ability, you could have sent my Red-Eyes back to my hand and I wouldn't have anything to protect myself from your attacks." stated Sunset.

"Of course." smiled Starlight.

"Then why didn't you do that?" asked Sunset.

"And ruin the fun. Ha, ha, ha." chuckled Starlight as she was legit cracking up. "You Sunset know better than anybody else, when you've beaten someone, you like to have fun with them. Taunt them, marinate them, savor the moment. Because at that point in time, there's nothing they can do but watch."

"You mean..."

"I've already won, Sunset. But I just want to see how long you can prolong this loss? Besides, I was just getting to enjoy myself. So I'd figured, what the hell, let the duel go on a bit longer. You're welcome by the way, just know that I could have ended it right there and then. But I didn't, and anybody thinking this is going to backfire on me... LOOK AT ME!!!!" shouted the girl as her eyes were filled with flames. "Tick tock, Sunset. Doomsday is upon you."

"I'll make you regret you didn't finish the job when you had the chance." stated Sunset.

"I already told you, I've won. Now then, I end my turn with a facedown. Proceed."

Turn 13: Sunset

"My draw," said Sunset as she drew her card.

What do I do? Hass Starlight really won this duel, do I even try to stand a chance?

"Tick tock, Sunset. Tick tock."

"I'll now activate the effect of my Archfiend of Lightning, so now I can destroy all your monsters that have less defense points than my monster's attack points." said Sunset as her fiend then struck its claws into the ground as thunderclouds rolled in from above as they were struck with a bolt as they exploded and created a huge smokescreen. Soon it started to clear out as Starlight's monsters were fine.

"How?!" asked Sunset.

"I told you, there's nothing you can do. And as for my monsters, well, I revealed Xyz Reflect. When you activate a card effect that would destroy an Xyz monster, this trap allows me to negate that effect and then deal you 800 points of damage." informed Starlight as her trap then sent some of Sunset's electricity towards the girl herself as she felt it and let out a painful scream as she dropped to a knee.
Sunset's Life Points: 1500-

"I... I..."

"Everyone pays the toll." said Starlight. "Tick tock, Sunset. Tick tock."

"I summon my Black Stone of Legend, then tribute it so that I can summon a second Red-Eyes Alternative Dragon from my deck in defense mode." Sunset's stone then cracked open a bit as a red light was seen coming from the cracks, soon it cracked fully open as out emerged a dragon as it let out a roar before taking a position in front of its mistress.

"I end with a facedown."

Turn 14: Starlight

"A monster in defense mode and a simple facedown, you really have reached the end of what you can do." smiled Starlight. "See Sunset, there's a reason why you lost to me, cause I did something you never could do. And that was beat Isaac, you may have failed when you were a villain, but I'm no ordinary villain. I'm a supervillain. The difference, presentation." said the girl.

"Now, I draw, and I play the spell card, Constellar Quasar!" shouted the girl as she held the card up high as it shined brightly. "With this, I can overlay using Xyz monsters simply by having them match the level of a 'Constellar' monster on the field, so my Constellar Ptolemy M7 and Omega now turn into Level 5 monsters!" Starlight's monsters then had their stats change as her card turned their ranks into levels. "Now I overlay all three of my Level 5 monsters, to build the Overlay Network!" Starlight's three monsters then surrounded themselves in a golden light as they all transformed into shining orbs of light as they hovered in the air as a portal opened up in front of the girl. All three lights then entered the portal as it shined brightly as a pillar of light emerged. "This is the end for you, once this monster strikes the field, all shall be destroyed by its celestial light! Annihilate everything in your path, Constellar Ursa Proeliator(4000/3000, OLU: 3)!!" Out emerged a warrior made whose body was made up of the night sky and star as the outline of its body was white lines connecting the stars as it wielded a spear and shield as it rode on a huge bear as it stood at 7 feet tall on its hind legs as it had fangs along with its mouth as it let out a roar as it too had the same shape and appearance as its rider as both wore white and gold armor.

"Ah!" said Sunset as the moment Starlight's monster emerged on the field, she grabbed her wrist as she could feel the magic flowing inside of her as it was hurting and causing her pain.

"Feast your eyes, Sunset. On the monster that took out your boy toy!" shouted Starlight.

"Isaac." said Sunset as she was looking directly in the eyes of Starlight's monster as she could feel what happened that night and how this monster took out her friends.

"Now my Constellar Star Chart allows me to draw an extra card, and then I'll play the card Constellar Asteroid so that I can destroy your Archfiend of Lightning." said as she took out Sunset's monster. "Now, time to end this, my monster can attack twice per round. So Ursa Proeliator take out her dragon!" shouted Starlight as her monster then commanded its bear to race forward as it did. The warrior on the animal raised its spear and then used its weapon as it delivered a powerful hit to Sunset's dragon.

"My monster's effect activates, when it's destroyed, I can special summon one Level 7 or lower 'Red-Eyes' monster from my graveyard, and I choose my Red-Eyes Black Dragon!" Sunset's ace monster then rose up in a red light as it let the biggest and fiercest roar as it spread out its wings. "And because I chose Red-Eyes, his attack points are doubled!"

"So, what? Did your friends not tell you about my monster's effects, by using one overlay unit, I can have my Ursa Proeliator return all my 'Constellar' Xyz monsters from my graveyard back into my deck and then it gains 500 more attack points for each one of them. And I have four so my monster gains 2000 more attack points." said Starlight as her warrior lifted its spear into the air as it gathered light from the cosmos as it was enveloped in a golden light.

"A gold light? Just like Isaac." said Sunset as she saw Starlight's aura as it resembled that of Isaac and his power.

"And now it has 6000 attack points. Now finish her!" shouted Starlight.

"I reveal my facedown, Red-Eyes Ascension!"

"That won't work! Cause I'll now use another overlay unit to negate your card!" said Starlight as her monster used a second Xyz material as it got rid of Sunset's card.

"Exactly what I hoped." smiled Sunset.

"Huh?!"

"Red-Eyes Ascension's true power now activates, by banishing it from the graveyard, I can give my dragon a boost equal to a monster's attack points, and so I'll give my Red-Eyes the power of my Archfiend of Lightning's attack points making it now have 7300! And here's the best part, you have to attack it and any damage you take from that battle is doubled."

"Which means..."

"Game over." said Sunset as her dragon let out a roar as it opened its mouth and fired a huge fireball as it collided with Starlight's monster as a huge explosion was created as a huge wind effect caused Sunset and everybody watching to cover up. Sunset then saw her dragon as something came out of it as it soon pierced the heart of her dragon as it let out a painful cry.

"RED-EYES!!!" shouted Sunset as she saw her dragon in pain as it brought tears to her eyes. She then saw what was sticking out of its chest as it was a spear as holding it was Starlight's monster as it remained unharmed.

"Another dragon slain." said the girl as she had a smile on her face.

"How..."

"By using the last overlay unit, I used the final effect of my monster, not only does it grant my monster indestructible, but any monster it battles, it gains their attack points." smiled the girl.

"No. RED-EYES!!!" shouted Sunset as he watched her dragon as it couldn't move with the weapon inside of it.

"Sunset, you used to be the biggest bitch around here. Well, girl, you ain't that anymore. Cause now I'm now the baddest son of bitch this school has seen!!" shouted Starlight as she looked at her monster. "Do what you do to all dragons, and put it out of damn misery and make it extinct!!!" Starlight's heard its mistress command as it plunged its weapon deeper into the heart of Sunset's Red-Eyes as it let out a vicious and pain cry.

"NO!!!!!!!" said Sunset as she dropped to her knees full of tears as she was shaking from pain and fear.

Starlight's monster lifted its spear up into the air as Red-Eyes was still attached at the end of it. It then tossed it with great power and force as it landed in front of the girl as before an explosion went off, Red-Eyes gave a tear to Sunset as the girl noticed the pain of her monster. It then was destroyed as Sunset was thrown from her knees onto her back as she rolled around in the dirt as her hair was messed up and had scuff marks all over her body.
Sunset's Life Points: 0-

Winner: Starlight

"Number four." stated the girl. She then pulled out a small piece of paper as she then placed a checkmark next to Sunset's mark as she smiled. She then started to walk towards the girl as she was still down.

Sunset landed facefirst as her body was in a bit of pain, she slowly was stirring as her head lifted up to see Starlight coming towards her.

"They say karma is a bitch. But they also say what goes around, comes around. Well, Sunset. Time you get what you deserve." Starlight now had evil intentions as she planned to do the thing that Sunset did when she was a bully and that was to rip up her signature monster.

"No, please. Isaac... I... need you..." cried the girl as she was helpless.

"Superman isn't coming. There's only the devil himself." snickered Starlight as she was getting closer and closer.

"Isaac... save me... please..." said Sunset as she cried even more.

Starlight was about to be in front of the girl when she stopped in her tracks.

"Back off!!" shouted a voice.

Sunset couldn't lift her head anymore, but she soon same a pair of shoes in front of her as in front of her was none other than Twilight as she put her arms out.

"Twilight." said Sunset.

"Back off." stated the bookworm.

"Please don't tell me, you're actually sticking up for her? After all she said about your boyfriend, how she could so easily take him away from you? All with a snap of a finger, he would forget all about you. And then you'd be left all alone, just like you were before. No friends, no love, no friendship, all alone left to wander the darkness forever. Are you really going to stand up for her?" asked Starlight with a cocky smile.

"Yes!" enunciated Twilight with conviction. "What Sunset said does affect me, I would be lying if I didn't say it didn't. But I know she would never do it on purpose, she would never hurt her friends again, cause she too is afraid of being alone again. Our individual paths may have been drastically different, but the end result was the same, we got to be better people and gained some loving friends. And more importantly, friendship. Something you don't understand, and I would never throwaway a friendship, not even fighting for a boy." said Twilight as she looked at her friend behind her as she gave her a loving smile to which Sunset returned.

"So don't think your mind games are going to separate us or any of our friends! Not so long as she stand against you and whatever plan you have!"

"Oh, look at this tough girl." mocked Starlight. "I never wanted to sever your friendships, that was never my true intentions. You all are so closely knitted that it would be impossible for me to even try, in fact, it was just for sport to see if I could make it happen. But your right, Twilight. You and your friends do stand in my way, which is why I've taken it upon myself to eliminate you all one by one. And Twilight... you're the biggest fish I plan to catch. So consider yourself lucky, you have time till I come for you. But tick tock, the countdown to doomsday is at hand." Starlight then began to walk away as she sang her song once more.

"She's got the whole world in her hands. She's got the whole wide world, in her hands. She's got the whole world, in her hands. She's got the whole wide world... in... her... hands."

"She's got the whole world in her hands. She's got the whole wide world, in her hands. She's got the whole world, in her hands. She's got the whole wide world... in... her... hands." replied some of the students who had been watching the duel as they sang Starlight's message.

Starlight now entered the school building as Sunburst was waiting for her as he had some peanut butter crackers in his hand.

"So, did you find them?"

"Yup, they're waiting for you." replied Sunburst.

"Then let's go." said Starlight as she grabbed a cracker from the boy's hand and tossed it into her mouth as the two left to meet with their "client".

"So, do we have a deal?" asked Starlight as she extended her hand.

"You've convinced me. Very well, I'll join your side." said the person as they extended their hand and shook it with the girl as the deed had been done.

"Now, onto to phase 3."

"Already ahead of Starlight." said Sunburst as some students their age approached them as it turns out they wanted to help Starlight with her plan and change Duel Monsters to be equal for all.

"Excellent." grinned the girl as she touched her fingertips.

Twilight had managed to make it back to their house as she had Sunset's arm over her shoulder. They got to the door, as Fluttershy saw this and helped Twilight carry their friend to the couch. Fluttershy then began to mix some of her medical herbs together to help Sunset heal.

"How you feeling?" asked Twilight.

"Bruised and battered, but I'll be fine." stated Sunset. "Hey, about this morning? I'm sorry, again. I just... I just let it all out... my personal feelings and desires... Starlight just made it come out... and I respect your relationship with Isaac, Twilight. I would never do anything to harm that."

"I know you won't." smiled the girl.

"Friends?"

"Friends." said the girl as she placed her hand on Sunset's shoulder.

"Any news on him?"

"None. It's been a week since he disappeared, and the date for the student's exams is nearly here." said Fluttershy as she finished mixing her home remedy and put some on Sunset's knee.

"Well, we have a job to do. To prep the kids for that date."

"And what about Starlight?" asked Sunset.

"She said she plans on taking out all of us, and with Sunset being number four, that only leaves you three." said Fluttershy.

"Let Starlight come, I'm not afraid. Now, if you'll excuse, I have some things to take care of." Twilight then started to walk up the stairs as she entered her room.

"Hey, Twilight." said Spike. The dog then saw his owner have a determined look as he knew what that meant. So for the rest of the time he was in the room, he zipped his lips and didn't say anything.

"Nicole, respond."

"Scanning, Twilight. Restoration at.... 67%" said the A.I.

"It's not going to be finished in time. Time for plan B." said Twilight as she pulled out one of the desks drawers and pulled out her deck as she flipped the top two cards as they were her Dark Red Enchanter and High Priestess of Prophecy.

Twilight looked at her cards as she was going to prep her deck when she noticed a small photo frame on her desk as it was a picture of the boy. She then picked it up as she let her eyes water up as some tears dropped onto the picture as is splashed on it. Spike noticed this and tried to comfort her but it wasn't enough. Twilight smiled and lifted him as she gave him a petting. She then placed him back on the bed as she sat on her window still as she opened her window and looked at the nighttime sky. The cool breeze blowing in her face as she reached into her hair and undid her ponytail and let her hair fall naturally as it fluttered a bit in the wind. Twilight looked up at the stars and the moon as it brought back memories of that night in the garden when she and Isaac confessed their feelings.

The small radio on her nightstand was on.

"Hope you're all having a wonderful night. This next song goes out to all those who miss someone. We hope that where you are, you're safe and know we miss you." said the Dj in a smooth comforting voice as the next song played.

"Isaac, where are you?" said Twilight as she looked up at the sky with a tear rolling down her check as it fell on her High Priestess of Prophecy card she was still holding as the scene then panned up to look at the night sky.

Somewhere else, there was a person who was trapped in a bubble as they floated about in some kind of darkness.

"Where am I?" said Isaac as he opened his eyes a bit before going back to him being unconscious and floating about.

That was pretty brutal of Starlight there with what she did to Red Eyes and the other 2 Dimension Dragons there.
Along with her trying to turn Sci-Twi against Sunset there.
Wonder what flaws Sci-Twi has that Starlight will use?

Starlight forgot to mention that it also lowers the monsters' Levels by 1 and the fact the spell can't be responded to.

"I told you, there's nothing you can do. And as for my monsters, well, I revealed Xyz Reflect. When you activate a spell, trap, or monster effect that targets a face-up Xyz monster, this trap allows me to negate that effect and then destroy it and deal you 800 points of damage." informed Starlight as her trap then sent some of Sunset's electricity towards the girl herself as she felt it and let out a painful scream as she dropped to a knee as her monster was gone. Sunset's Life Points: 1500-

Archfiend of Lightning's effect doesn't target at all.
However, the anime version of Xyz Reflect can stop it due to it stops any effect that would end up destroying a Xyz monster by card effect in the anime.
