Chapter 198: Exam #5

"I do speak with my cards and see the spirits of my monsters," said Isaac as both of his magicians bowed down behind their master as they showed their loyalty and relationship with the young boy. "To me, they are more than allies, they are more than servants, they are more than my beck and call, they are my friends. And they are what I draw my inner strength from." Isaac then snapped his fingers as all of the monster spirits returned to their masters' decks as it was just Isaac and the students.

"Now then, the tests begin. You all signed the disclosure agreement that you will not tell each other of your results. Through that door, you'll have your final challenge. Now you all have five minutes with each of your tutors for you and them to say some final words. I'm grateful for all you've done by being part of this program. Every single thing that I've done was to push you all to the best of your ability. Know that whether you win or lose your duel, you'll all victories in my eyes." smiled Isaac as he put his hand in as the students did the same.

"Thank you, Isaac." said the students.

"Now go kick ass!!!" shouted Isaac as allowed the kids to walk through the door.

The students all walked through the door as they began to walk down the hallway. Soon they reached another set of doors as they opened it and inside were the girls as each one of them went to their tutor.

"Nicole... respond..." texted Twilight on her phone to her A.I. program.

"Scanning... Twilight. Restoration at 97%." said the A.I.

"Almost complete." said the girl. Twilight then put her phone away as she saw Jason approaching her as she was looking to have some final words with her student.

Jason then approached his teacher as he handed Twilight his deck.

"What are you doing?" asked Twilight.

"Duh, giving you my deck. Every time before a duel, you always look at it and critic what I should put in and the cards I choose to go in with. So I'm giving you it so that you can judge me one more time." stated Jason.

Twilight had a small gasp on her face which soon turned into a smile as she put her hand on Jason's deck and pushed it back to the boy.

"No need, it's fine. I trust you in whatever cards you picked to go into battle with."

"Seriously?" said Jason as he raised his eyebrow.

"Okay, one last time. But I won't make any suggestions," stated Twilight as she grabbed her student's deck and then fanned them all out as she began to scan Jason's deck. She just looked at his cards and smiled. "You've got a powerful deck, make sure to use it to your full advantage. That's my only piece of advice to you." said the girl as she handed the cards back.

"Thanks. So, listen... despite you being obsessed and a bit mental... okay, a lot of mental..." stated Jason.

"Hey!" shouted Twilight as she took offense to that comment.

"It's true!" shouted the girls as they managed to hear Jason say that Twilight could go mental as they agreed with that statement. Twilight just scowled them as she didn't like her friends siding against her.

"Either way, you know what you're doing. Putting aside the fact that you're Isaac's girl, I'm glad to be allowed to study under your mentorship. Just maybe not giving me so many readings and research to do would have been nice. And assignments." stated Jason.

"Okay, I might have gone a bit overboard. I... I was just trying to be the best tutor possible." said Twilight with a bit of sadness.

"Yeah, but still... I'm glad you were my tutor. No doubt, I did the most reading in my life ever since I became paired with you." stated Jason. "So, time to see if the knowledge sticks."

"It's not just facts, it's also about listening to your deck and your monsters," said Twilight.

"Yeah, the 'Heart of the Cards' thing," said Jason with air quotes. "I'm still not fully sold on the idea, but your boyfriend made me open my mind a bit. So I see what it means when someone mentions this notion."

"Well, that's a start." smiled Twilight.

Soon the P.A. system went off as it served as the signal for the students to start.

"Good luck, Jason."

"I will, thank you for being my tutor. Twilight."

Both teens then shook each other's hands as they let out a smile. Jason then broke the contact as he and the other students all stepped to seven different doors as each one was placed in front of them. They all looked at one another as they each gave small fist bumps as soon all seven of them entered their doors simultaneously. Each of the kids was in a black holding space as there was another door before them as there was a neon sign above it that would indicate when it was their turn. Soon one door of the set turned green as it said ready as the person slotted in their deck and opened the door.

Jason now entered the room as it was completely black. Like the others, he saw a single spotlight shining down in the middle of the room. He then approached it as he looked up at the spotlight to see anything but just covered his eyes a bit.

"Welcome!" said a voice.

That prompted Jason to follow where the voice came from as he saw Isaac in the private box. He also saw three other business suits to whom he could tell they were the judges.

"Contestant #5: Jason 'Ironhide' Starr. Deck archetype: A mix of powerful cards, several Blue-Eyes cards, some Kaijus, and a few other dragon cards." said Isaac.

"And you allowed someone with a deck like that to be part of the program?" asked the one in charge.

"Hey, you guys gave me free rein in who I selected. Plus, I beat the kid several times, so put that into perspective," said Isaac as he leaned back and flexed a bit while looking at Jason.

He then pulled out his rubric as so did the others as they prepared for the next round of testing. Isaac then pushed a button as the entire room now lit up as Jason blinked for a moment to allow his eyes to adjust to the sudden entrant of light into his field of vision. Soon he then looked to the other end of the room as his selected opponent was now on the field.

"Hope you win and that I don't make you look too bad," said Fluttershy in a soft tone. She then took a deep breath as she pulled out her deck and slid it into her duel disk as it activated and projected a yellow color card tray.

"They gave me the shy one?" said Jason. "Well, at least Fluttershy knows to take this seriously." stated the boy. He then pulled out his small rectangle device and strapped it on as he slid in his deck. His duel disk activated as it projected a white color card tray.

"Opponent detected. Streaming data. Duel mode set. Initiating. Commencing duel." said their duel disks.

Fluttershy's Life Points: 8000-

Jason Starr's Life Points: 8000-

"Uhm, is it okay if I go first? If you don't mind... if not... I understand." said Fluttershy as she hid a bit behind her hair.

"Yeah, sure. Go ahead," stated Jason. Damn, no wonder people find her cute. That shy nature tugs at my heart.

Turn 1: Fluttershy

"To start, I'll summon Baby Raccoon Ponpoko(800/0) in attack mode." A small raccoon with a tiny drum strapped to its chest jumped in front of Fluttershy, scratching its ear. "I'll then activate Ponpoko's special ability, when he's summoned I can then special summon one level 2 or lower beast-type monster from my deck in facedown defense position." Fluttershy then touched her screen as she looked for the monster she wanted; once she made her decision, she then tapped her screen and pulled her card from her duel disk, and set it on her card tray.

"I'll then end my turn and set one card facedown."

Turn 2: Jason

That all, I know she runs a Beast-type deck given her love of animals. But I know for a fact, Beast cards have some powerful monsters, so why didn't she do it. Or at least Synchro Summon since that's usually her go-to move.

"Did... Did I make a mistake? We can start over if you'd like." said Fluttershy as she felt like it was her fault for making the boy confused with her first move. She then let her hair fall in front of her face as she hid behind it.

"What, no! It's fine, just... was expecting much more from you. You've proven that you're not the weakest member of your group, I was just hoping that you'd do something big given it's the final exam." stated Jason.

"Oh, well... I didn't want to put too much on you." smiled the girl.

"Thanks, I guess... I'll just take my turn now," stated Jason in a soft tone as he drew his card. He then looked at his hand as he refocused his mind on getting back into the duel. "I'll start by playing Sage with Eyes of Blue(0/1500) in defense mode. And when I summon this guy, I get to add one Level 1 light tuner monster from my deck to my hand." Jason then used his duel disk screen as he clicked confirm for the card he wanted as it slid out for him to grab. "I'll take my Maiden with Eyes of Blue. Then I'll play the spell card, The Melody of Awakening Dragon. So I now discard a card so that I can add up 2 dragon monsters with 3000 or more attack points and 2000 or fewer defense points from my deck to my hand. So I'll take 2 Blue-Eyes White Dragons." said Jason as his duel disk ejected his cards. "Then I'll play the spell card, Trade-In. So by sending one of my Blue-Eyes White Dragons to the graveyard, I can draw 2 more cards." Jason then sent away one of his dragons as he put his hand on his duel disk and then drew his cards.

"With that, I'll end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 3: Fluttershy

"My turn, and now I'll flip over my facedown monster my Baby Raccoon Tantan(0/800)." A raccoon with a larger vertical drum over its chest rose from the card backing, banging padded drumsticks on its instrument. “Now his ability activates, when Tantan is flipped up, I can special summon a level 2 beast-type monster from my deck. I call upon Catnipped Kitty(0/500) in defense mode.” A pastel purple cat hopped onto Fluttershy’s field, a jingling bell on its collar, and rolled onto its back.

"In that case, I'll activate my facedown, Successor Soul! So now I tribute my Sage with Eyes of Blue, then I target one of your effect monsters and I send both to the graveyard. So I choose your Catnipped Kitty." Jason's face-down then flipped up as it shot out two beams of light as it took out his monster and the monster he chose on Fluttershy's field as they were gone. "By doing that, I can now summon from my deck, my third Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" Soon a bright white light appeared as soon Jason's dragon emerged as it let out a roar as it landed with a thud as it caused the three suits to cover their ears for a moment as they saw the huge beast.

"Impressive, but I'm not done with my turn, cause now I'll overlay both my Baby Raccoon Tantan and Baby Raccoon Ponpoko to build the Overlay Network!" The two beasts turned into transparent red outlines and slid together, undulating. They hovered in the air for a bit as soon a portal opened up in front of the girl as they disappeared into it with a pillar of light emerging. "Watch closely! I unite the powers of my two raccoons to summon a brave new animal guardian!” She then grabbed the card that ejected from the top of her duel disk and then played it on her duel field. “I Xyz Summon Number 64: Ronin Raccoon Sandayu(1000/1000, OLU: 2)!” The red light burst apart, revealing a humanoid raccoon in red samurai armor, its eyes glowing. Two orbs of red light orbited the air around it, trails in their wake. Twin capes of yellow burst from its shoulders to flutter in the air. It reached to its back and pulled out a large polearm, spinning it twice and then pointing it at Jason.

"I now activate Ronin Raccoon's special ability." One of the red orbs around the samurai shot across the field and circled Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Red light leaked off of her into the orb. “By detaching one of Ronin Raccoon’s Xyz materials, I can special summon a ‘Kagemusha Raccoon Token’ with attack points equal to the strongest monster on the field. Since your Blue-Eyes White Dragon has 3000, my Kagemusha Raccoon Token(3000/0) now has that same amount.” The orb of light floated back to Ronin Raccoon and grew into a ghostly red samurai raccoon, a katana strapped to its back.

"Now time to attack, Ronin Raccoon Sandayu take out his dragon!" shouted the girl. The spectral samurai leaped up and slashed with its katana as it fell. The dragon saw the tiny thing coming at lightning-fast speed as he plunged his sword into the chest of the dragon as it let outcry as it then opened its mouth and fired a beam of pure white lightning as it was taken out resulting in an explosion to occur as both duelists looked away for a bit.

"Now that your monster is gone, I'll have my Ronin Raccoon attack you directly!" stated Fluttershy as she had her other tiny monster then jump high into the air. The samurai charged across the field, the blade of its polearm held out. Jason saw the tiny thing coming as he simply raised his duel disk as it made contact with the tiny thing's weapon as it clanged off his device as the furry mammal leaped back to Fluttershy's side as it took a fighting stance. It then fell on its bottom as it began to scratch its ear with its foot.
Jason's Life Points: 7000-

"I now end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 4: Jason

"Then it's my turn, and I'll summon my Maiden with Eyes of Blue(0/0)." Out emerged a beautiful woman as all around her were some particles to help highlight her beauty even more. "Then I'll play the spell card, Return of the Dragon Lords. So now I can bring back my Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" Once more a roar was heard as one of Jason's powerful cards in his deck emerged as it made its presence known.

"Now Blue-Eyes take out her Ronin Raccoon!" shouted the boy. His dragon then opened its mouth as it charged up its attack with ease and fast. It then shot the attack even faster as the beam of white light now collided with Ronin Raccoon as it tried to stand its ground but was blown away with ease as it went flying and was destroyed.
Fluttershy's Life Points: 6000-

"I'll then end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 5: Fluttershy

"Good job, Jason." smiled Fluttershy.

"Thanks." replied the boy.

"That means I can finally start to let lose a bit. So uh, sorry if I hurt right now. My draw," said Fluttershy as she drew her card and looked at her hand. "First off is Pot of Greed, after that, I'll use these two cards. Scale 0 Blazing Lion and Scale 7 Zany Zebra, I'll set the Pendulum Scale!" Fluttershy then placed both of her cards on the far end of her duel disk as the words pendulum in rainbow coloring spelled out to signal it worked. Both of Fluttershy's monsters then appeared in columns of light as they each had their respective numbers in front of them.

"Pendulum cards, there's no way?!" said Jason in shock.

"With this, I can now summon as many of my friendly animals as I want from Levels 1 through 6 at the same time. Animals unite!" shouted Fluttershy as a portal above her opened up as out came three lights. "I Pendulum Summon, Nimble Momonga(1000/100), Moja(100/100), and Bicorn Re'em(800/1600)!" Fluttershy now had three monsters she managed to summon to the field.

"You summoned three monsters using pendulum power? But where did you get those cards?" asked Jason.

"Don't worry about it. Cause now I'll summon my Nimble Manta(800/100), then I'll activate one of my facedowns, Beast Burial Ritual! So now I can destroy my Nimble Manta so that I can draw 2 more cards, however, I can't use them until my next turn. But that's fine cause now the effect of my Nimble Manta activates, so since it was destroyed it allows me to summon another one from my deck." Fluttershy then grabbed her card and slid it to the graveyard as her deck ejected her card for her to grab as she placed it sideways on the field. For Fluttershy, she now had a total of four monsters on her field.

"But I'm not done."

"What now?" stated Jason as he was a bit intimidated by what the shy girl was going to do.

"I activate my Zany Zebra's pendulum ability, so now I can target one unused Monster Zone or spell/trap zone. So I choose one of your monster zones," stated Fluttershy as soon a giant red X was shown on Jason's field as it occupied one of his five monster zones. "And as long as my Zany Zebra is my pendulum zone, you can't use that zone."

"Great." groaned Jason as it seemed Fluttershy showing off pendulum cards caught him off guard.

"Now I'll tune my Level 4 Bicorn Re'em with my Level 1 Moja!" Bicorn Re'em then let out a roar as it turned into four giant green rings that circled Moja as the tiny thing was in between them. "Feel the winds blow and watch the storm clouds up above rumble with electricity as I Synchro Summon, Thunder Unicorn(2200/1800)!" The sound of lightning was heard as up above some storm clouds formed as soon something came out of it with fast speed as Fluttershy's horse raced down from the heavens as soon it landed on the field as electricity formed at its hooves for a sec as it let out a fierce neigh and stomped its hooves as more lightning was produced.

"And since I used Bicorn Re'em to synchro summon a Beast-type Synchro monster, you now send the top 2 cards of your deck to the graveyard," stated Fluttershy as the spirits of her Bicorn Re'em appeared and then lunged at Jason's deck as two cards were shown piercing through its horns. Jason then took the top two cards and looked at them as he was a bit disappointed to see them go as he slid them into the graveyard slot.

"Now I activate Thunder Unicorn's special ability, so now I can lower one monster on your side of the field by 500 for every non-Thunder Unicorn that I control, so since I control two that means your Blue-Eyes White Dragon loses 1000 attack points." Thunder Unicorn then pointed its horn at the large dragon as it showed no fear in backing down from the powerful beast as some electricity shit from its horn and affected Jason's monster as it caused the dragon to be paralyzed for a bit as it lost strength.

"Now attack Thunder Unicorn! Super Charger Bolt!!" shouted Fluttershy as her monster wasn't afraid of challenging the dragon as it dug its right hoof into the ground several times as it then raced forward with a yellow light trailing behind it filled with lightning as it then leaped up and pointed its horn at Blue-Eyes. Soon it made contact with the dragon as it let out a roar as soon it was destroyed and gone as Fluttershy's monster landed and then trotted over to the shy girl as it nuzzled to show its affection to its beloved animal princess.
Jason's Life Points: 6800-

"Thank you." smiled Fluttershy as she petted her horse's nose and hugged it as he took his position. "Since I used Thunder Unicorn's ability, he's the only one that was allowed to attack this round. So I'll end my turn."

Turn 6: Jason

"My turn and I'll play my spell card, Raigeki so that I can destroy all your monsters," stated Jason.

"I activate my facedown, Dark Bribe. So now your spell is null and void," stated Fluttershy as she managed to avoid Jason from wiping her entire field out with his card. "The upside is you draw a card."

"So be it," said Jason as he drew his card. "I'll just place this monster facedown in defense mode."

Turn 7: Fluttershy

"My turn, and I'll have my Thunder Unicorn attack your facedown monster!" stated Fluttershy as her monster raced forward with high speed and took out Jason's card as the monster that was hidden now revealed itself.

"Exactly what I was hoping, the monster you just destroyed was my Morphing Jar! So now we discard our entire hand and draw 5 new cards." stated the boy as both he and Fluttershy got rid of their entire hand as they refilled with new cards.

"In that case, I'll just set two facedowns."

Turn 8: Jason

"Then it's my move, and I'll reveal my Nebula Dragon(2000/0) and my Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon(3000/2500) so that my Nebula Dragon can activate its effect to allow me to summon both to the field. However, their special abilities are negated this turn." Jason now had some more of his powerful cards on the field as they let out a roar. "Then I'm playing the spell card, Pot of Avarice. So now I can take 5 monsters in my graveyard and shuffle them back into my deck and then I draw two more cards." Jason then used his duel disk screen as he selected the monsters he wanted as they all slid out for him to grab as he placed them on top of his deck as the auto shuffler kicked in. He then drew his two cards and added them to his hand.

"With that done, I'll now overlay both of my Level 8 dragons to build the Overlay Network!" shouted Jason as both of his monsters now changed into orbs of light as they hovered in the air for a bit as a portal opened up in front of him. Soon both orbs of light entered the portal as a pillar of light emerged. "I Xyz Summon, Number 97: Draglubion(3000/3000, OLU: 2)!" Jason's powerful beast now arrived as its eyes glowed and it let out a huge roar.

"My monster can't be targeted by card effects, so it's safe from your Thunder Unicorn's ability. Then I'll activate my Draglubion's special ability, so now by using one overlay unit, I can take 2 different Dragon 'Number' monsters from my Extra Deck and then special summon one of them while attaching the other to it as an Xyz material. So the two I choose are my Number 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy(3000/2500) and Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon(3000/2500)!" For a sec, both of Jason's selected monsters appeared on the field as they let out more threatening roars as Fluttershy was a bit scared. "And as for which one I'll summon, I choose my Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy so that means my Tachyon Dragon turns into an overlay unit for my monster to use. But that's not all, since I used my Draglubion's effect, I'm only allowed to attack with the monster I summoned. So Number 38, attack and take out her Thunder Unicorn!" shouted Jason as his dragon began to power up its attack.

"I activate my facedown, The Big March of Animals!" said Fluttershy.

"No, you won't! See my Hope Harbinger has a special ability, once per turn, when a spell card or effect is activated on the field. I can not only negate that effect, but if I do, it then turns into an overlay unit for my monster to use." said Jason as Fluttershy's spell was rendered powerless as it then changed into an orb of light as it now circled Jason's monster.

"Now back to what I was going to do, get rid of her Thunder Unicorn!" shouted Jason.

"I activate my other facedown, Barrier Wave! So by tributing my Thunder Unicorn, I can have all of your monsters switch into defense mode. And then you take damage equal to the defense points of the monster you declared an attack with. So since your Hope Harbinger has 2500 defense points, that means you lose that same amount." stated Fluttershy as she dealt some massive damage to Jason.
Jason's Life Points: 4300-

"Well, that's not all. See since you targeted my Maiden with your trap, I can now activate her effect so that I can special summon my Blue-Eyes White Dragon from my deck!" stated Jason as he had his monster on the field once again.

"With that, I end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 9: Fluttershy

"My turn and I summon my Trident Warrior(1800/1200)! And when I summon my Trident Warrior, I can also summon a Level 3 or lower monster from my hand, so I choose my Delta Flyer(1500/900). Then Delta Flyer's effect activates, so now I can increase or decrease the level of a monster on my field, so I pick my Trident Warrior so that he now becomes Level 5. With that done, I'll tune my Leve 3 Delta Flyer with my Level 5 Trident Warrior!" Delta Flyer then soared into the sky as it turned into three giant green rings as they circled Trident Warrior who was in between them. "Let the sky open up and now give way to a gleaming beast of electric might! I Synchro Summon, Lightning Tricorn (2800/2000)!" Once more storm clouds appeared despite them being inside of a building as the sight of lightning flashed. Soon out emerged the monster as it had a yellow coat with several horns sticking out of its body with a blue mane as it fluttered a bit in the wind.

"Now, I activate my Blazing Lion's pendulum ability, once per turn, I can select a monster on my field and give it 300 more points for each Beast-type, Plant, and Winged-Beast type monster I currently control. So since I control 3, that means my Lightning Tricorn now gains 900 more points for a total of 3700 attack," stated Fluttershy as her beast powered up. "Now to attack, take out his Draglubion! Leaping Electric Lung!!" said the girl as her beast now raced forward. It then leaped high into the air as it used its horn to take out Jason's monster.
Jason's Life Points: 3600-

"Now I'll activate the effect of my Hope Harbinger, when an Xyz monster is destroyed, I can then have another Xyz monster on my field gain points equal to its attack points," stated Jason as his Hope Harbinger now powered up to have 6000 points worth of strength.

"I'll end my turn with a facedown," said Fluttershy as she was a bit scared at the powerful monster she was now dealing with as her Lightning Tricorn lost the extra points.

Turn 10: Jason

"My turn and I'll start by tuning my Blue-Eyes White Dragon with my Maiden with Eyes of Blue!" stated the boy as his Maiden changed into one single giant green ring as it circled his dragon. "I Synchro Summon, Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon(2500/3000)!" Out came a pillar of light as soon some wings began to show as a mouth was then shown as soon the entire monster was present as it let out.

"Now to deal some damage, Hope Harbinger attack her Nimble Momonga!" shouted Jason. His dragon heard the order given by the boy as it then powered up its attack, soon it was fully charged as it let loose a powerful beam as Fluttershy's monster was gone and her life points dropped massively.
Fluttershy's Life Points: 1000-

"Now the effect of my Nimble Momonga activates, since it was destroyed in battle, I gain 1000 life points. And then I can replace it with two more copies from my deck in facedown defense position," said Fluttershy as her duel disk ejected the cards from her deck as she grabbed them and placed them sideways on her color card tray.
Fluttershy's Life Points: 2000-

"So be it, I'm almost about to win. And thanks to my Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon, you can't destroy or target any of my dragons with card effects until the end of my next turn. So I'll end my turn."

Turn 11: Fluttershy

"My turn, I draw. And to start I'll play Card of Sanctity so now we draw to refill out hand to hold six cards." stated the shy girl as she and Jason now had a new hand to work with. "Next, I'll overlay both my Nimble Manta and one of my Nimble Momonga so that I can build the Overlay Network!" shouted Fluttershy as both of her monsters then changed into orbs of light as they hovered in the air for a bit. Soon both lights entered the portal as a pillar of light emerged. "I Xyz Summon, Number 64: Ronin Raccoon Sandayu!" Fluttershy now had her second copy of her ace Xyz monster as it appeared with its Xyz materials circling it. "You know how this works, so I'll use an overlay unit so that I can create a token with the highest attack points on the field, so your Hope Harbinger has 6000 attack points, meaning my token now has that same amount." stated the girl as her small token appeared as it flexed its cartoon muscles.

"I may not be able to destroy your monster with card effects, but I can take them out the old-fashioned way. So I'll have my token take out your Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon!" commanded Fluttershy.

"I activate my facedown, Negate Attack!" shouted Jason as he managed to make Fluttershy's small token trip and fall as its attack was ended.

"Was that a part of your plan, or are you running out of options?" taunted Fluttershy as she placed two cards facedown.

"I hate to say it, but that was a desperate move on my part," said Jason to himself.

Turn 12: Jason

"My turn and I'll activate the effect of my Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon, so during my Standby Phase, I can target one Normal monster in my graveyard and summon it. So rise Blue-Eyes White Dragon." said the boy as he had another one of his powerful creatures on the field. "Now then, time to end this duel. Hope Harbinger take out her Lighting Tricorn and end this duel!" shouted Jason as his monster powered up its attack and fired its beam at Fluttershy's monster as it looked to end the shy girl's hopes of winning this duel.

"I reveal my facedown, Return Damage! So now not only do I not take Battle Damage, but you take it instead!" smiled Fluttershy with a smug smile as the attack then returned to hit Jason as he put his arm up as he managed to take out Fluttershy's creature but he got hit big time.
Jason's Life Points: 400-

"And now the effect of my Lightning Tricorn activates since it was destroyed I can summon my Voltic Bicorn(2500/2000) from my Extra Deck! Watch as the storm clouds give way to a stampede of rolling thunder!" stated Fluttershy as her duel disk opened her Extra Deck compartment as it slid out the card she wanted as she grabbed it and played it on her duel disk. Out emerged another horse as it had a black coat with some frizzled-up mane as it had lightning on its chest like it was some armor and had two lightning horns. This time the sound of thunder went off as it caused the three suits to jump a bit while Isaac just leaned in his chair without a care as he smiled at the duel that had been going on between one of his students and his friend.

"Well, either way, I'm taking out your new beast. Blue-Eyes take out her Voltic Bicorn!" shouted Jason.

"I reveal my own Negate Attack!" smiled Fluttershy as she gave a sass look to the boy as she managed to do what he did the previous turn.

"Grr, I'll just end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 13: Fluttershy

"My turn, and I'll start by playing the spell card, Stop Defense. So now your Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon is switched back into attack mode." stated the girl as the monster's effect now expired. "Then I'll activate the effect of my Ronin Raccoon so by using the last overlay unit, I'll create a copy of my token. So now both have 6000 attack points," said Fluttershy as she had two small powerful monsters as she looked to end this duel. "Time to end this, token #1 end this duel by attacking his Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"

"I'll activate the effect of my Hope Harbinger, so by using one overlay unit, I can redirect your monster's attack to it so now both of our monsters will be destroyed, and I won't lose life points," said Jason as he was willing to make the sacrifice of one of his most powerful monsters so that he could still have a chance. Both monsters clashed as both were destroyed and resulting in both duelists looking away for a bit.

"That's fine, cause Token #2 will put an end to this by taking out your Blue-Eyes!" ordered Fluttershy.

"I reveal my facedown, Majesty with Eyes of Blue! So by sending a 'Blue-Eyes' monster from my deck to the graveyard, I can select a monster on the field and it can't attack. So I choose your token #2!" said Jason as he managed to avoid losing the duel.

"Fine then, Voltic Bicorn attack his Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon!" commanded Fluttershy as her horse now charged forward as it clashed with the beast as both were destroyed. "Now the effect of my Voltic Bicorn activates, since it was destroyed, we both send cards from our decks to the graveyard equal to its level. So since Voltic Bicorn is Level 7, that means we lose seven cards."

"What?" said Jason.

"Oh, my bad. I'm only losing seven cards, you're losing more. Cause I reveal my facedown, Tuning Collapse! So since your synchro monster was destroyed by my Voltic Bicorn, you now send cards equal to its level. So since Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon was Level 9 and you add that on top of my Voltic Bicorn's effect, you're losing 16 cards from your deck!" shouted Fluttershy.

"What the hell?!" stated Jason as his eyes widen at how Fluttershy was able to take a big chunk of his deck and send it off to the graveyard.

He grabbed his deck and took a huge portion of it and slid them one by one to the graveyard, it pained Jason to do this as each card he sent away was signaling his chances of winning were getting thinner and thinner. It also served as amusement for Fluttershy as she managed to do something big brain and pro-level by taking a huge portion of her opponent's deck to the graveyard at the cost of only a little from her deck.

"Fluttershy, I didn't know you had a devious side to you," said Isaac with a smile as he was impressed by what his shy friend was able to do.

Fluttershy just made me mil 16 cards, and now I only have a couple left. But that may not be my problem, I'm only down to 400 life points. So I either run out of cards or my life points drop.

"I now end my turn."

Turn 14: Jason

"My turn," said Jason as he looked at the small stack of cards left in his duel disk. "Give me something... I draw." Jason looked at the card he drew as he looked at the field. "Better than nothing, I play the spell card, Interrupted Kaiju Slumber!" Soon the entire field began to rumble and shake as it got the three suits watching to be a tad bit afraid. Soon the ground in front of Jason and Fluttershy opened up as all of her monsters fell through and were gone. "Now all our monsters are destroyed, however, by banishing my Return of the Dragon Lords, I can protect my Blue-Eyes from being destroyed by my spell. Then I can summon two 'Kaiju' monsters from my deck, one on your side of the field and one on my side. So I'll give you my Gameciel, the Sea Turtle Kaiju(2200/3000) and I'll summon to my field, Thunder King, the Lightningstrike Kaiju(3300/2100)!" Both giant monsters appeared on the field as they let out a roar and looked at each other ready to do battle.

"Now Thunder King will attack Gameciel!" shouted Jason as he commanded his monster to take out Fluttershy's creature as it was gone in one shot.
Fluttershy's Life Points: 900-

"And then I'll end this duel with my Blue-Eyes! White Lightning!" shouted Jason.

"Now I'll activate the other pendulum effect of my Blazing Lion. See when I find myself in a direct attack, I can summon him from the pendulum zone in defense mode. So rise my Blazing Lion(2500/3000) in defense mode!" said Fluttershy as her monster rose in a ring of fire as it let out a roar as soon in one jump out came the lion as it was red, gold, and yellow, as the mane was set aflame as well as parts of its body and tail. "And that's not all my Blazing Lion can do, now I'll activate its special ability, so any monster that attacks it, is returned to the hand." stated the girl as Jason's dragon then disappeared and returned to his hand. "And lastly, if I moved him from the pendulum zone to my field, then I can replace him with another Pendulum card in my deck."

"You have more?!" stated Jason.

"So I'll take this one, my Scale 1 Noble Tiger!" said Fluttershy as she managed to reset her pendulum scale and have a monster on her field.

"I'll play one card facedown and end my turn."

Turn 15: Fluttershy

"My turn, and now I'll activate the pendulum ability of my Noble Tiger so that I can fusion summon without the need of Polymerization, so I'll combine my Big Koloa with my Des Kangaroo!" stated the girl as her two monsters appeared as they were being sucked into the vortex as a yellow light emerged. "I Fusion Summon, the master from down under, Master of Oz(4200/3700)!" shouted Fluttershy as her new monster appeared as it was ready to box. "Time to end this, Master of Oz take out his Thunder King, the Lightningstrike Kaiju!" shouted the girl.

"I reveal my facedown, Defense Draw! So I take no damage this turn and I draw a card," said Jason as he managed to save himself once again as his monster was destroyed.

"Very well, I'll then switch my Blazing Lion into attack mode and end my turn."

Turn 16: Jason

"Time I end this," said Jason as he looked at his deck as he hoped to draw the card he needed. Alright, I might not fully believe in this stupid idea, but right now, I'm out of options. So whatever god or being is out there, just give me the card I need to win. Please. Jason then drew his card as he looked at it and then at his hand as he saw what he had to do. "To start, I'll activate Polymerization so that I can fuse my two Blue-Eyes in my hand so that I can fusion summon my Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon(3000/2500)!" Jason's new dragon now came out as he looked to hopefully execute his plan and win this duel. "Now to attack, take out her Blazing Lion!" shouted the boy as his twin-headed dragon opened both of its mouths and the two attacks made contact with Fluttershy's monster.
Fluttershy's Life Points: 400-

"Now my Blazing Lion's effect activates, so your monster returns to your Extra Deck."

"Not quite, from my hand, I play the spell card, De-Fusion! So I spilt my fusion monster back into the two monsters I used to summon it," said Jason as his monster split and managed to avoid Fluttershy's effect.

"Good job." smiled Fluttershy as she put her duel disk arm down as she knew what was going to happen.

"Now, finish her off, Blue-Eyes end this duel!" shouted Jason as he had his two dragons fire their attack at the shy girl as Fluttershy held her ground as the attack soon died down.
Fluttershy's Life Points: 0-
Winner: Jason

Jason collapsed on the floor with his arms and legs spread out as he was breathing heavily from the duel. He was so tired that he didn't have the energy to say anything except.

"Man... this shy girl, is tough."
