Chapter 199: Exam #6

"I do speak with my cards and see the spirits of my monsters," said Isaac as both of his magicians bowed down behind their master as they showed their loyalty and relationship with the young boy. "To me, they are more than allies, they are more than servants, they are more than my beck and call, they are my friends. And they are what I draw my inner strength from." Isaac then snapped his fingers as all of the monster spirits returned to their masters' decks as it was just Isaac and the students.

"Now then, the tests begin. You all signed the disclosure agreement that you will not tell each other of your results. Through that door, you'll have your final challenge. Now you all have five minutes with each of your tutors for you and them to say some final words. I'm grateful for all you've done by being part of this program. Every single thing that I've done was to push you all to the best of your ability. Know that whether you win or lose your duel, you'll all victories in my eyes." smiled Isaac as he put his hand in as the students did the same.

"Thank you, Isaac." said the students.

"Now go kick ass!!!" shouted Isaac as allowed the kids to walk through the door.

The students all walked through the door as they began to walk down the hallway. Soon they reached another set of doors as they opened it and inside were the girls as each one of them went to their tutor.
Rarity was busy looking over her notepad as she was trying to come up and edit some touches on designs she was making for her and the rest of their group for their prom night that was but days away.

"Yes, the colors are matching, but what is this part of the dress?" said Rarity as she had a stressed look on her face.

"Perhaps, the color indigo. It would compliment with the ruby pigment that you have going," said Amber as she approached her tutor.

"Amber, darling," said Rarity.

"So, you have the outfits done for what you and your group are going to wear for your prom night?" asked the youngest member of the students.
"Naturally, all I have to do is put the finishing touches on each one and then have them fit each person's likes," stated Rarity. "But enough talking about that, you'll get to experience your prom night in about three years. By the time you're a senior here at CHS, everyone will surely see you as a mature young woman."

"Indeed, and on that topic of maturity. I'm grateful for what you've done for me, Ms. Rarity. When Professor Isaac contacted my parents and me about being part of this program. I was ecstatic; I was going to learn about Duel Monsters and figured this might be the opportunity I need to show that I'm not a kid and that despite my age, people will treat me like the adult that I am. But... I guess I was a bit selfish to go in with that mindset. Honestly, the moment I saw the other kids, I was regretting my decision." stated Amber. "Then I met you, and I had my opinions that you were nothing but a pretty face who used her looks and beauty to get anybody to do what they asked. But you also displayed your generosity. And that was what tipped the scale in me seeing that you were not what I initially thought."

"Is that so?" stated Rarity.

"And I guess... I wanted to be like you. To have people look at me and not treat me as a child despite my age. For that, I'm glad to have you and Professor Isaac as my tutors, but more importantly, people who I can rely on. Thank you, Rarity." smiled Amber as she gave a hug to the older girl.
"And it was my pleasure to be your teacher." stated the fashionista as she returned the embrace from the young girl.

Soon the P.A. system went off as it served as the signal for the students to start.

"Time to start the tests. Thanks, also for the cake."

"My pleasure, Amber." smiled Rarity as she let go of her apprentice.
Amber and the other students all stepped to seven different doors as each one was placed in front of them. They all looked at one another as they each gave small fist bumps as soon all seven of them entered their doors simultaneously. Each of the kids was in a black holding space as there was another door before them as there was a neon sign above it that would indicate when it was their turn. Soon one door of the set turned green as it said ready as the person slotted in their deck and opened the door.

Amber now entered the room as she saw the same scene as the others before her. A single spotlight that shined down in the middle of the darkroom. She showed no fear as she approached it and put her hand under it to see if anything would happen. Once it was safe, she then put her whole self under the body as she looked up at the single spotlight.

"Good afternoon." said a voice.

Amber then looked to where the voice came from as it belonged to her head professor. She saw Isaac as he was accompanied by three important people to which she could see were the executives sent by the Board of Education. She hoped that she could be able to show them her professor's and tutor's hard work as she didn't want to let them or anybody else down.

"Contestant #6. Name: Amber. The youngest member of the group, Age: 15. Deck archetype: Lunalight." said Isaac as he spoke into the mic to inform the girl and the suits.

"That girl? She's but a child." said the one in charge.

"I Heard That!!!" shouted Amber as it got the three suits to be frightened by the tone of the young girl.

They looked over to see Isaac had kept his finger on the button so that Amber could hear them as he knew they were going to say that. So he let them suffer the wrath of the young girl as he smiled and gave a quick thumbs up to Amber. With that, he then leaned back as he pushed another button as the whole room lit up as Amber blinked from the sudden brightness as she saw who her opponent was.

"Time to see how well you studied," said Twilight as she put on her small rectangle device and slid in her deck. Her duel disk then activated as it projected a purple color card tray as it matched her skin tone.

"Giving me the biggest challenge apart from Isaac. Seems he recognizes my level of intelligence," stated Amber as she pulled out her small device as she slotted in her deck. Her duel disk came active and online as it projected her amber color card tray.

"Opponent detected. Streaming data. Duel mode set. Initiating. Commencing duel." said their duel disks.

"Let's duel!" shouted both girls.

Isaac looked at Twilight as the girl did the same. For the two teens, they had a serious look on their faces, one that each of them had as the first time it happened was back in the tournament when Isaac confronted Twilight about potentially being his challenger for the Fall Formal. Then it happened again during their trip to the Star Swirl Music Festival. And of course when Isaac was dealing with Starlight. The pair just looked at each other, not as boyfriend and girlfriend, not as a couple, hell not even as friends. To them right now, they were looking at each other like... rivals. Isaac then thought back to what happened moments before the students started testing.

(Flashback)

The students all entered their doors when Isaac called the girls over.

"Alright, girls. Time to get ready, the students have no idea that each of you is the final exam. So prepare yourselves, I've given your assigned opponent. So prepared your decks." said Isaac.

"Got it." said the girls in the group huddle.

"One more thing." Isaac then reached into his hoodie as he pulled out the small box that Yuya had given him.

The girls were surprised by what Isaac was holding. He then opened it and showed it off to the girls as they all had gasped.

(Brief Pause)

Twilight was also thinking back on that moment as she looked at her deck.

(Resume)

"Here you go, Twilight. These are the pendulum cards that I'm giving you," said Isaac as he had already given the others the pendulum cards that would fit their decks.

"Thanks, but... I'm not taking them," said Twilight.

"What? Twilight, I'm giving these to you so that they can be part of your deck. Yuya gave me this box, and while they had the cards that I used in my tag duel with him. They also had several others; he said it wasn't just a gift for me, but everyone. So he put some spare pendulum cards that he wasn't using and decided that we should have them in our decks." stated Isaac. "So it's okay, take them."

"I appreciate that. And from Yuya. But... I can't. I'm fine with my deck not having them." said the bookworm.

"Twilight, you don't have to prove anything. Nobody is going to think anything less of you if you have them. It's just a way for the kids to deal with the unexpected. A duel doesn't go according to the plan you try to layout, there are always things you can't expect."

"I get it, Isaac. But... I just can't. Sorry, but I can't." said Twilight as she closed Isaac's hand and pushed it back towards him as she started to walk away with her head down.

"Twilight." called out Isaac as he saw his girlfriend walking.

While Twilight didn't show it, she did have some tears rolling down her eyes. Unbeknownst to her, Isaac also had some tears rolling down his eyes.

(End of Flashback)

Twilight was still staring at Isaac when Amber called to the girl to get her attention.

"Miss Twilight. Is everything okay?" asked Amber as she noticed her spacing out a bit.

"Yes, sorry for making you worry. Is it alright if I go first?" asked Twilight.

"Not at all." smiled the younger girl.

Twilight Sparkle's Life Points: 8000-

Turn 1: Twilight

"So are you picking Twilight to win, Isaac?" asked one of the suits.

"Keep her name out your damn mouth! All of you!!" shouted Isaac as he let his anger out on three suits as they were scared by the boy's sudden outburst. He then looked back at the duel as he pulled out his rubric as he prepared to do his job in evaluating the duel.

"Soon, Twilight..." muttered Isaac.

"Soon, Isaac..." muttered the girl as she gave one last look at her boyfriend as she prepared to duel.

"I draw!" shouted Twilight. "And I'll start by activating my spell card, Spellbook Library of the Crescent. So since there's currently no 'Spellbooks' in my graveyard, I can now reveal three different ones from my deck, and then you randomly pick one to add to my hand. So the choices are my Spellbook of Power, Spellbook of Divinity, or Spellbook of Friendship." Twilight's cards were projected for Amber and the judges to see as they all then flipped over and spun in a circle before stopping.

"Very well... my odds of picking anything good/bad is 33%. But that's just at face value. There are other percents that I need to take into account. But I'm just gonna pick with my heart, so... my choice is the left one." said Amber.

"Alright then," stated Twilight as she added the selected card to her hand while placing the other two on top of her deck as the auto shuffler kicked in. "Then I'll place this my field spell, The Grand Spellbook Tower." The entire field began to change as a tall and giant tower appeared behind Twilight. "I'll follow up that move, by playing my Amores of Prophecy(600/2000) in defense mode." stated the girl as her monster appeared on the field.

"I'll then end my turn."

Turn 2: Amber

"My turn, I draw!" stated Amber. "And I'll do the same thing by starting with a field spell, Fusion Recycling Plant." Once more the field began to change as on Amber's field there was a factory that popped up as on the side were some piles of metal stacked up. "Then I'll start by summoning my Lunalight Emerald Bird(1200/1000)." Amber played her card as out came her monster as it was a woman dressed in green feathers as she spread her wings to show off her beauty as he wore a moon pendant over her right eye.

"And when I summon my Lunalight Emerald Bird, I send 'Lunalight' card from my hand to the graveyard so that I can draw one card. So I choose my Lunalight Yellow Marten." stated Amber she selected her card and slid it into the graveyard slot of her device as she drew her card. "And then my Yellow Marten's effect activates since it was sent to the graveyard by a card effect, I can add a 'Lunalight' spell or trap card to my hand." Once more Amber's duel disk then ejected her card to which she grabbed.

"I'll then end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 3: Twilight

"My draw and I'll play Spellbook of Secrets so that I can get any 'Spellbook' I want," stated Twilight as she made her choice as her duel disk slid out her card for her to grab. "Next, I'll summon my Strength of Prophecy(1500/1400). Then I'll activate her effect, so I can shuffle back my Spellbook of Secrets and then give one faceup spellcaster on the field and not only give it 500 attack points but increase its level by 1. So I choose my Strength of Prophecy." said the girl as her female sorcerer used her magical powers to empower herself.

"Now I'll have my Strength of Prophecy attack your Lunalight Emerald Bird," said Twilight as her magician then lifted her hands as magic flowed through her and she shot a beam that connected with the monster as it was taken out.
Amber's Life Points: 7200-

"I'll now reveal my facedown, Lunalight Reincarnation Dance. Since a 'Lunalight' monster was destroyed, I can add 2 'Lunalight' monsters from my deck to my hand." stated Amber as she used her duel disk screen to see her options as she made her choice as her duel disk ejected her chosen cards as she grabbed them.

"I'll then end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 4: Amber

"My turn, and to start I'll activate the effect of my Fusion Recycling Plant. So I discard one card in my hand so that I can retrieve Polymerization," said Amber as she sent away from her card as her duel disk ejected the desired card from her deck. "Then I'll play Polymerization so that I can combine both my Lunalight Blue Cat and Purple Butterfly!" shouted the girl. The two female monsters appeared before their young owner as they were sucked into the vortex behind her as their energies were being combined. "By combining the reflexes of a fierce feline with the fluttering fury of a nighttime huntress, I can create a new lunar legend! I Fusion Summon! Lunalight Cat Dancer(2400/2000)!" Amber now had a monster that was a cat woman who wore white garments as her dress was revealed so that it could show off her smooth legs and thighs as it wore a cat mask that had a moon shape as well as wore bracelets on both of her arms. She struck a pose as it showed off her dominance as well as her beauty.

"Now to attack, Lunalight Cat Dancer attack her Strength of Prophecy!" shouted Amber.

"I reveal my facedown, Book of Secret Defense! So now my monster can't be destroyed in battle," said Twilight as her monster put up a magic barrier in time as Amber's monster delivered a high jump kick as it made contact with the barrier as the female sorcerer felt the shockwaves as Cat Dancer backflipped over to Amber's side.
Twilight's Life Points: 7600-

"I'll then end my turn, and now the effect of my Fusion Recycling Plant activates, which means I can add back one of the cards used as fusion material. So I choose to add back my Lunalight Purple Butterfly," stated Amber as her duel disk ejected her card from her graveyard as she grabbed it.

Turn 5: Twilight

"My turn, and I'll start by summoning my Hermit of Prophecy(1200/700). Then I'll play Spellbook of Knowledge so by sending my Amores of Prophecy to the graveyard, I can draw two more cards," stated Twilight as she drew her cards while making sure to look at Isaac with an intense stare. Isaac returned the glare as to only them, both of their auras were clashing almost like the brewing of a devasting storm on the horizon.

"I'll then activate the effect of my Hermit of Prophecy, so since I activated a 'Spellbook', I can increase my Hermit's level by 2 and his attack points by 300," stated Twilight as her eldest magician stroked his beard as he felt the power surging through his old self. "With that, I'll now overlay both my Level 5 Hermit of Prophecy and Strength of Prophecy to build the Overlay Network!" Twilight's two monsters then transformed into dark orbs of light as they hovered in the air for a bit as a portal opened up in front of the girl. Soon both lights entered the portal as a pillar of light emerged. "I Xyz Summon, Empress of Prophecy(2000/1700, OLU: 2)!" stated Twilight as out emerged her monster as she was sitting on her throne with her Xyz materials circling.

"Now my Empress gains 300 extra attack points for every overlay unit she was, so right now she has 2600 attack points. But I'll use one of those Xyz materials to activate her special ability. With it, I can now look at the top 5 cards of my deck, and then for every 'Spellbook' I reveal, I get to destroy one monster on your field." Twilight then looked at the top 5 cards of her deck as her duel disk revealed three of those cards. "I reveal Spellbook of Penetrations, Spellbook of Magic, and Spellbook of Wisdom. And that's more than enough for me to get rid of your Cat Dancer!" stated Twilight as her Empress pointed her staff at Amber's monster and took it out with ease.

"With your monster now gone, it means that I can attack you directly. But first, I need to put my cards in any order I choose," stated Twilight as she rearranged the five cards she drew in the desired order she wanted. "Now then, Empress of Prophecy attack Amber directly!" shouted the lavender girl. Her Empress pointed her staff once more as this time it had the young girl in her sights as she blasted her with some magic.
Amber's Life Points: 4900-

"With that, I'll end my turn."

Turn 6: Amber

"My turn, and now I'll play the spell card, Re-Fusion. So by paying 800 life points, I can bring back my Cat Dancer from the graveyard," stated Amber as her monster was now back in play. "Then I play my Lunalight Black Sheep(100/600), but she won't be around for long, cause I activate the effect of my Lunalight Yellow Marten from my graveyard. So by simply returning my Black Sheep to my hand, I can special summon my Lunalight Yellow Marten(800/2000) also from the graveyard." Amber's Black Sheep appeared for a second on the field before it was then gone in a white light back to the girl's hand as a small portal opened up in front of her as a yellow weasel-like girl appeared as she took her position.
Amber's Life Points: 4100-

"Then I'll activate the effect of my Cat Dancer's special ability, so by tributing my Lunalight Yellow Marten, I can now have my Cat Dancer attack your monster twice this turn."

"Well, that won't do much, at most I'm only losing 200 life points," informed Twilight.

"I know that, Miss Twilight. But don't forget out of everyone that was a part of the group, I'm the one who's the most intelligent, which is why I'm activating another card. By sending my Lunalight Purple Butterfly from my hand to the graveyard, I can give my Cat Dancer an extra 1000 attack points this turn." stated Amber. She then sent her monster card in the graveyard slot of her duel disk as her Cat Dancer powered up. "Now to take it to her, Cat Dancer strike at her Empress of Prophecy!" commanded the young girl. Cat Dancer then leaped high into the air as it did another high jump kick as it made contact with Twilight's monster.
Twilight's Life Points: 6500-

"The first attack doesn't destroy your monster, but this next one will. Full Moon Mayhem!!" shouted Amber as her Cat Dancer then used the power of the moon as it unleashed an attack that was heading towards Twilight's monster as it took it out once and for all.
Twilight's Life Points: 5400-

"With that, I'll now end my turn with a facedown. And now Cat Dancer's attack points return to normal."

Turn 7: Twilight

"Then it's my turn, I draw. I'll summon my Charioteer of Prophecy(1800/1300) in defense mode." Twilight played her monster as out came a male spellcaster as he rode on a white horse as he wielded a magical sword. "Then I'll activate his ability, so by discarding my Spellbook of Divinity, I can return a Spellcaster from my graveyard back to my hand. So I choose my Strength of Prophecy. Then since I sent my Spellbook of Divinity to the graveyard by a card effect, I can activate its power. So now I take a card from my deck and remove it from play for 3 turns, but after that, it then comes onto the field." Twilight then used her duel disk screen as she knew which monster she wanted to hold onto as she clicked confirm as it slid out for her to grab as she put it into the banished compartment of her duel disk.

"I'll then end my turn with a simple facedown."

Turn 8: Amber

"Then it's back to me, I draw. And right away I'm going to activate the effect of my Lunalight Black Sheep, so by discarding it to the graveyard, I can add a 'Polymerization' to my hand from my deck." Amber then sent her monster once again as this time her duel disk ejected the card she desired. "I'll then play Lunalight White Rabbit(800/800). By normal summoning Lunalight White Rabbit, I can bring back a 'Lunalight' monster from my graveyard. So rise also, Lunalight Purple Butterfly(1000/1000) in defense mode. And then activate Lunalight White Rabbit's effect, now I can return up to the number of 'Lunalight' monsters I have out on the field, other than my White Rabbit. So that means you're facedown you set is now sent back to your hand." Amber's monster then raised the mallet it was carrying and struck the ground as it began to shake and rumble. The shockwaves from the hammer hitting the ground now made their way over to Twilight's field as the girl began to lose her balance for a bit before she steady herself and held on as her facedown she previously set was surrounded in a white light as it then zipped back to her hand.

"Now, Cat Dancer take out her Charioteer of Prophecy!" commanded Amber as her monster did just that and got rid of Twilight's monster with ease.

"I now end my turn."

Turn 9: Twilight

"My draw," said Twilight as she drew her card.

As long as the Lunalight White Rabbit is on her field, it's going to be a problem.

"I'll start by activating the effect of my field spell, The Grand Spellbook Tower. So since I control a spellcaster in my graveyard, I can now take one of my Spellbooks in my graveyard and place it on the bottom of my deck to allow me to draw an extra card. So I'll choose my Spellbook of Divinity." said Twilight as her duel disk ejected her card from the graveyard slot as she grabbed it and then put it at the very bottom of her deck as she then drew her extra card.

"Then I'll play Graceful Charity so that I can draw three cards and discard two," stated Twilight as she picked up some more cards as she was in her element when it came to wielding her deck. "I'll now play the Spellbook of Life, so now I can banish a spellcaster from my graveyard and reveal a Spellbook in my hand so that I can bring back a different Spellcaster from my graveyard. So I'll banish my Charioteer of Prophecy and reveal my Spellbook of Miracles so that I can summon my Prophecy Destroyer(2500/1200)!" Twilight then struck her hand on the ground as it began to rumble once more as a crack opened up. Soon the monster that emerged was a demon as it had wings, a demonic tail, and horns on its heads as it pulled out a sword as its breathe produced a foul odor.

"That thing is a spellcaster?!" said Amber as she looked at Twilight's demonic monster as it didn't look like her other monsters in her deck.

"He may have a dark side, but he knows where his loyalty stands. And who's the boss of him," stated Twilight as she looked at her monster as it nodded at the girl. For he knew that Twilight was the one person who he didn't want to piss off or less he suffer her wrath and that was something that even the demon himself was afraid of from the young bookworm who he called mistress.

"But he's also a valuable player on my team. Prophecy Destroyer! Go have some fun on that Cat Dancer!" smiled Twilight with a sinister smile as the demon liked this side of his mistress. He then flapped his wings as he lifted himself into the air, soon he channeled all the dark magic that he knew and inside of him as it empowered his weapon. The demon then brought its sword down on Cat Dancer as she blocked it with her arms before the darkness that was in the creature began to take over as it caused Cat Dancer to lose her grip and was struck down as it was destroyed.
Amber's Life Points: 4000-

"Nice work," stated Twilight as she looked at her monster. The demon just bowed down in front of Twilight; she just raised her hand to signal for him to stand and to take his position.

"I'll then end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 10: Amber

"My turn, I draw!" said the young girl. "To start, I'll play Pot of Greed. Then I'll activate the spell card, Lunalight Eclipse. So now until the end of your next turn, my Lunalight monsters are unaffected and can't be targeted by your spell or trap cards. Then I'll summon my Lunalight Kaleido Chick(1400/800)." Out came a tiny girl as she looked like a small baby bird as she was colored yellow and spread her wingspan. "Now I'll activate the effect of my Lunalight Kaleido Chick, so by sending another copy of my Lunalight Cat Dancer to the graveyard, my Kaleido Chick becomes its name," stated Amber as her Extra Deck part of her duel disk opened up as it slid out the card for her to grab as she then sent it away to the graveyard. "Then I'll activate the spell card, Lunalight Fusion. So this time I'll combine my Lunalight Kaleido Chick and Lunalight Purple Butterfly." Amber's two monsters then appeared in front of a vortex, as Kaleido Chick then changed into Cat Dancer as they both were sucked in as their energies and power were being combined. "By combining the reflexes of a fierce feline with the fluttering fury of a nighttime huntress, I can create a new lunar legend! I Fusion Summon! Now appear, sleek creature of the night, and ready those razor-sharp claws! Lunalight Panther Dancer(2800/2500) is on the prowl!" Amber now had another catlike woman appear as this one had dark skin as she wore a purple corset and thigh stockings as she too had a skirt that was open a bit to reveal her legs as she wore rings around her wrists and unsheathed her claws.

"Now to attack, Panther Dancer take out her Prophecy Destroyer!" shouted Amber. "Oh, and did I mention Panther Dancer's ability, in that like Cat Dancer it can attack your monster twice this round and if it destroys your monster, it gains an extra 200 points." informed the girl. Her monster then leaped high into the air as it spun fast in the air as it was coming down towards Twilight's monster. It then brought its legs down and hit a mean right kick to the monster's body as Prophecy Destroyer dropped its sword.
Twilight's Life Points: 5100-

"And now attack #2 take your monster out!" shouted Amber as her Panther Dancer then moved with fast speed once it landed on its feet and then used its claws to deliver one final slash attack as Twilight's monster fell on its knees and was destroyed.
Twilight's Life Points: 4800-

"I'll activate my facedown, Spellbook Exchange, so by taking a monster that was destroyed this turn and banishing it, I can add a 'Spellbook' from my deck to my hand," stated Twilight as her duel disk ejected her Prophecy Destroyer as she looked at it and said thank you to her demon servant as she put it in the banished compartment of her deck. She then used her duel disk screen to pick the card she wanted as it slid out for her to grab.

"Very well, I end my turn."

Turn 11: Twilight

"My turn," stated the girl as she looked at her hand, "To start, I'll activate my field spell once more. So this time I'll take my Spellbook Exchange, and place it on the bottom of my deck so that I can draw another card. Then I'll play my Spellbook of Mimic so that I can copy the effect of a Spellbook in my graveyard or deck, I choose my Spellbook of Secrets. So now I add any Spellbook that I desire." said Twilight as her duel disk ejected the card she wanted. "And speaking of desire, I'll do just that. I play Spellbook of Desire, so now I can banish the top three cards of my deck to draw three more cards," said Twilight as she was doing her usual thing and going through all of her options.

"I thought I had a taste for knowledge. Miss Twilight takes it to another level, I see why she caught the eye of Professor Isaac, that girl can't do anything without seeing her options and planning accordingly," stated Amber.

"I now summon my Temperance of Prophecy(1000/1000). Then since I activated a Spellbook previously, I can now tribute her so that I can special summon one Level 5 or higher Light or Dark spellcaster from my deck." Temperance of Prophecy then had her cups fill with smoke as she chanted some Latin. Soon cups began to overflow with smoke as it dripped and began to surround her as the magic was now starting to transform.

"I summon my Wheel of Prophecy(2700/1700)!" shouted Twilight. Her new monster emerged from the smoke as it was a humanoid lion who wore a gladiator outfit as he had a large shield in its left hand as it had symbols on it that glowed. "Now the effect of my Wheel of Prophecy activates, since it was summoned by the effect of a spellcaster, I can target any banished number of 'Spellbooks' and shuffle them back into my deck and I can return the others to my graveyard. So I'll take one of the cards I banished with my Spellbook of Desire, and then put the others in my graveyard." Twilight's duel disk opened the banished compartment of her duel disk as the three cards she sent slid out as she grabbed the one she wanted and put it on top of her deck as the auto shuffler kicked in. She then slotted her two other cards in her graveyard slot.

"Now, I'll play Spellbook of Power. So now until the end of the turn, I'll give my Wheel of Prophecy 1000 extra attack points," stated Twilight as her monster's weapon began to glow with the symbols on it as it powered up. "Now Wheel of Prophecy take out her monster!" shouted Twilight as her monster's weapon began to spin fast as he lifted it into the air. Her monster then threw his weapon at Amber's monster as it traveled through the air fast and then struck Panther Dancer as it was destroyed.
Amber's Life Points: 3100-

"And now the other effect of my Spellbook of Power, since my Wheel of Prophecy destroyed your monster, I can now add a Spellbook from my deck to my hand." Twilight then selected her card as she looked at it and then took a glance at Isaac. "I end my turn with a facedown." said the girl all while not breaking her view from Isaac.

Turn 12: Amber

"My draw, and now I'll play Card of Demise so that I can draw till I hold 5 cards so long as I get rid of my hand in five turns. Then I play Lunalight Perfume so that I can bring back my Lunalight Panther Dancer." said the girl as she had monster back on the field. "Next up is this, Lunalight Roar! This allows me to give my Lunalight Panther Dancer extra attack points equal to a monster on my field, so since I still have my Lunalight White Rabbit in play, that means my Panther Dancer gains 800 more attack points for a total of 3600. Then I'll activate the effect of my White Rabbit so that I can return your facedown you previously set." Amber's monster then slammed her hammer down once more on the ground as Twilight's card was sent back to her hand.

"Now, Panther Dancer take out her monster!" shouted Amber as her monster then did some flips as it then delivered another vicious kick as Twilight's monster was struck.
Twilight's Life Points: 4100-

"And like before the first attack doesn't destroy your monster, but this next one will be the finishing blow!" stated Amber as her Panther Dancer did its second attack as it took out Twilight's monster.
Twilight's Life Points: 3200-

"With that, we're about even, so I'll end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 13: Twilight

"My draw!" shouted Twilight as she drew her card as it produced a purple light as it trailed behind it. She slammed her hand on the ground as some magical lights came from her hand as she had her eyes closed. Soon the ground opened up as the lights were shining the brightest it had ever been. Twilight felt the magic flowing through her as it felt natural. "Now my Spellbook of the Divinity takes effect since three turns have passed. Arise my Dark Red Enchanter(1700/2200)!" shouted Twilight as she summoned her monster who had been her first friend since she was a little girl. Out emerged her monster as it wore a red outfit and pointed its staff at Amber.

"Now, I'll play Spellbook of the Master. So since I control a spellcaster, I'll reveal my Spellbook of Wisdom so that my Spellbook of the Master can take the effect of a Spellbook in my graveyard. So I choose my Spellbook of Secrets so now I can add any Spellbook to my hand. And since I activated a spell card, I can place a spell counter on my Dark Red Enchanter which allows him to gain 300 extra attack points." said Twilight as her monster powered up as she got the card she wanted. "I'll then play Spellbook Organization so that I can look at the three top cards of my deck and place them in any order I choose. And that's another spell so my Dark Red Enchanter gains 300 more attack and a second counter." Twilight then looked at her next cards as she reorganized them in the order she wanted as her monster got stronger.

"Now, I'll play Spellbook Library of the Heliosphere, so since I have 5 or more Spellbooks in my graveyard, I can reveal the top 2 cards of my deck and if any of them are 'Spellbooks' then they're added to my hand."

"So that's why you played your Spellbook Organization before, so that way both of your cards are Spellbooks," said Amber.

"Precisely, and they are, Spellbook of Friendship and Spellbook of Fate. Then I'll play Spellbook of Fate, so by banishing three Spellbooks from my graveyard, I can activate the third effect of my card and that's to banish one card you control, so your Panther Dancer is now gone forever," said Twilight as Amber's monster was removed from the game. "And that's two more spells that I activated, so that means 600 more points. And right now, my Dark Red Enchanter has a total of 2900 attack points. Now Dark Red Enchanter, attack her Lunalight White Rabbit!" shouted the lavender girl as her monster pointed his staff at Amber's monster as he took out the monster with ease.

"I'll then end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 14: Amber

"My turn," said Amber as she looked at her deck and then at the field as she saw Twilight's monster. Time to win.

"I draw! Nice, I play Cat Supremacy! So now I can conduct a fusion summon on my field using monsters in my graveyard. So I'll fuse my Lunalight White Rabbit, Black Sheep, and Blue Cat so that I can fusion summon my Lunalight Sabre Dancer(3000/2600)!" Out came another cat woman as she had dark purple skin and wore gold garments while wielding a sabre sword in her right. "My monster's effect allows her to gain 200 extra attack points for every 'Lunalight' monster in my graveyard, and right now there's a total of 7 which means Sabre Dancer gains 1400 more points." Sabre Dancer then powered up as she raised her weapon.

"Then I'll reveal my facedown, Lunalight Serenade Dance. So since I fusion summoned, I can special summon one 'Lunalight' token(2000/2000) to your side of the field." stated Amber as a token appeared on Twilight's field in attack mode. "Then my monster gains 500 more attack points for every monster you control, so since you have two that means my Lunalight Sabre Dancer has 1000 more attack for a total of 5400 attack. Now to end this, and I'll do so by taking out that token! So Lunalight Sabre Dancer end this duel!" shouted Amber as she thrust her hand out. Her monster obeyed the order as she leaped high into the air and then came diving down with its weapon in its hand.

"I reveal my facedown, Half Unbreak! So now not only is the token not destroyed but the damage I take is cut in half!" shouted Twilight as she braced herself and her legs buckled a bit as she held on.
Twilight's Life Points: 1500-

"Nice move, Miss Twilight. I'll just end my turn."

Turn 15: Twilight

"My draw and I'll play this Spellbook of Friendship!" stated Twilight as she held her card up high as it shined with all the colors of the rainbow. "This card has a different effect once it's in the graveyard, but I'm using its other effect. So when I play this card, the first thing that happens is that one random monster card is placed on top of my deck," said Twilight as her duel disk kicked in the auto shuffler and then placed a random monster on the top. "Then I have to guess the level of the monster card, if I'm right, then I get to summon it, but if I'm wrong, then I take damage equal to its actual level by 400."

"That's a steep price to pay," stated Amber. "That means if you guess wrong and it's a monster with at least Level 4, then you lose the duel."

"True, but I'm willing to take that chance," said Twilight as she looked up at Isaac. "Now time to make my guess..." Twilight then closed her eyes as she was trying to figure out what her response was going to be. Soon it felt like her soul was reaching out to her deck as she was putting her trust in her monsters. She then opened her eyes, "I guess Level 7!" stated the girl as she drew her card.

Everybody was on the edge of their seats, except for Isaac as he kept his scowl on his face as he watched Twilight. Twilight looked at her card as for her, a small tear fell down her cheek.

"I now summon my High Priestess of Prophecy(2500/2100)!!" shouted Twilight as the card she managed to guess was none other than her ace monster of her deck and her partner. Out emerged a beautiful woman with red hair and a revealing outfit as she crossed her legs and had a book appear in her lap.

"And time to end this, cause I'll activate the effect of my High Priestess of Prophecy, so by banishing my Spellbook of Friendship so that my Priestess can destroy one card on the field and I choose your monster," said Twilight as her Priestess opened her book as she waved her hand and cast her fingers as the book fired a spell that made Amber's monster vanish.

"Time to end this, Dark Red Enchanter! High Priestess of Prophecy! End this duel!" commanded Twilight as both monsters nodded to the command given by their mistress as they put their magical energies together and fired a powerful spell that was aimed at Amber as the young did her best to hold on before dropping to her knees.

"Good work, everyone," said Twilight to her monsters as they smiled before disappearing.

Twilight then looked up at Isaac as she saw her boyfriend. She then began to walk as both of their auras and the magic they had inside glowed so that only the two of them could see. For Isaac, his aura glowed with his Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl appearing by his side as they had serious looks with their master. For Twilight, her aura glowed as her High Priestess of Prophecy and Dark Red Enchanter appeared alongside their mistress as they too had serious looks on their faces. Both teens had their ace magicians by their side; so similar and so different at the same time. It seemed the storm was heavily brewing between boyfriend and girlfriend, or rather soon to be ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend.

Twilight was in the waiting room as she was drinking some water to rehydrate herself. She finished taking a sip when she saw Isaac enter as he stepped a few moments away from the final test as he wanted to see her. Twilight stared at her friend as he was walking towards her as she stood up. Twilight looked Isaac in the eyes as the two kept their focus on each other. She then put her hand up to Isaac's cheek as she let out a smile; Twilight then brought her lips to connect with Isaac as the two shared a kiss. It lasted for a few moments as both let out a smile, soon Isaac returned to the final test as Twilight prepared herself for the final moments of not only her high school career but being Isaac's girlfriend.
