Chapter 197: Exam #4

"I do speak with my cards and see the spirits of my monsters," said Isaac as both of his magicians bowed down behind their master as they showed their loyalty and relationship with the young boy. "To me, they are more than allies, they are more than servants, they are more than my beck and call, they are my friends. And they are what I draw my inner strength from." Isaac then snapped his fingers as all of the monster spirits returned to their masters' decks as it was just Isaac and the students.

"Now then, the tests begin. You all signed the disclosure agreement that you will not tell each other of your results. Through that door, you'll have your final challenge. Now you all have five minutes with each of your tutors for you and them to say some final words. I'm grateful for all you've done by being part of this program. Every single thing that I've done was to push you all to the best of your ability. Know that whether you win or lose your duel, you'll all victories in my eyes." smiled Isaac as he put his hand in as the students did the same.

"Thank you, Isaac." said the students.

"Now go kick ass!!!" shouted Isaac as allowed the kids to walk through the door.

The students all walked through the door as they began to walk down the hallway. Soon they reached another set of doors as they opened it and inside were the girls as each one of them went to their tutor.

Bryant saw Fluttershy as she had her pet bunny Angel in her hand as she was feeding the small thing. He saw his tutor as he remembered this was how they started their first lesson and the idea the shy girl was trying to teach the boy about the idea of a "bond" with their cards. The boy then approached the girl as both decided to sit down and look at one another.

"Here. Hold this." Fluttershy was holding Angel in her hands.

"Sure." smiled Bryant as the two were recreating the scene from the front lawn when they first got paired up. Bryant just smiled at the small thing as he scratched Angel's head as it began to stomp his foot. "You were right, holding a bunny always makes me feel better."

"Told you." smiled Fluttershy. "So, feeling nervous?"

"Yeah," stated Bryant. "But... I'm ready. All of this has been building up to this moment, the moment where everything falls on us. Isaac and you girls all did what you could up to this point. Now the rest falls on me and the others to not only showcase our abilities and training but also to help Canterlot High get the proper need that can get Duel Monsters as part of its curriculum. I'm thankful for all you've been teaching me and trying to get me to understand the idea of having a bond with your deck. I may have been superstitious at the time, but after some recent things, I think I understand what you've been trying to teach me."

"Glad I could help," stated Fluttershy.

She then brought Bryant in as she hugged the boy. He returned the hug as he was thankful for all the girl had done for him. At first, he thought it was a joke that Fluttershy was his tutor given her shy nature would be a dead giveaway that she wasn't that good of a duelist, but after seeing her in action and showing off her skills that would put her on par with the others. He was glad to have her as her teacher and he wouldn't trade it for the world.

Soon the P.A. system went off as it served as the signal for the students to start.

Bryant gave Angel back to Fluttershy as the pair stood up.

"Wish me luck Angel." said the boy as he left.

Bryant and the other students all stepped to seven different doors as each one was placed in front of them. They all looked at one another as they each gave small fist bumps as soon all seven of them entered their doors simultaneously. Each of the kids was in a black holding space as there was another door before them as there was a neon sign above it that would indicate when it was their turn. Soon one door of the set turned green as it said ready as the person slotted in their deck and opened the door.

Bryant now entered the room as it was dark as the others were when they took the test. The only light was the single spotlight that was shown in the middle. He took a deep breath as he ready himself as he began to walk forward towards the spotlight. He was now directly under it as soon a voice was heard.

"Next participant," said Isaac as Bryant looked at the private box as his headmaster was with the three suits. "Contestant #4: Bryant Lopez. Deck archetype: Performapals, but given that alone isn't strong without pendulum cards, I made modifications to it. Yuya gave me some spare Odd-Eyes cards so Bryant has them to make up for the lack of firepower." explained the teen.

"Very well, we'll allow it." stated the head person of the trio.

Isaac then sat down in his chair as he pulled out his rubric as did the other three people as which made Bryant a bit nervous. Isaac then pushed a button as soon the whole room lit up as it caused Bryant to cover his eyes a bit. Soon he saw who his opponent was as he had to admit, he was slightly worried.

"Oh boy," said Bryant.

"I can't go easy on you," said Sunset. She then slid in her deck as her duel disk activated as soon a red card tray projected out.

"Time to see if I truly got what it takes. Just remember, focus on the bond with my deck," said Bryant to himself as he slid in his newly improved deck by Isaac and Yuya as he slid it in as his duel disk activated and projected a burgundy color card tray as he prepared to go against one of the best duelists in CHS.

"Opponent detected. Streaming data. Duel mode set. Initiating. Commencing duel." said their duel disks.

Sunset Shimmer's Life Points: 8000-
Bryant Lopez's Life Points: 8000-

Turn 1: Bryant

"I'll start, here goes," said Bryant in a calm tone as he drew his card. "I'll summon my Performapal Friendonkey(1600/600). And when I summon my Friendonkey, he allows me to also bring another 'Performapal' from my hand or graveyard, so I choose to summon out my Performapal Corn(600/1000)." Bryant's donkey appeared as it had a saddle on its back with a couple of saddlebags. Soon a light came from one of the bags as it soon revealed a blue-haired girl dressed in blue clothing as she had a horn on her forehead. Bryant's female monster gave a small wink at the boy as Bryant kind of blushed at the look given to him by his female monster.

"You okay, you're turning red," said Sunset.

"Forget you saw that," said Bryant as he got rid of the blush on his face. "I now end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 2: Sunset

"My turn, and I'll start by activating the spell Cards of the Red Stone. So now I'll send one Level 7 or lower 'Red-Eyes' monster from my hand and one from my deck so that I can draw two cards." Sunset then took two Red-Eyes Toon Dragons, one from her hand and one from her deck, as she slid both of them into the graveyard slot as she then drew her cards. "I'll now activate this ritual spell card, Dark Dragon Ritual! So now I'll send my Red-Eyes Gearfried the Iron Knight so that I can ritual summon, my Paladin of Dark Dragon(1900//1200)!" Sunset held her card up high as a red light shined from it; a portal opened up as out came her monster. The monster that emerged was all black as both rider and dragon were dark armor as the rider lifted its lance high in the air as the dragon let out a roar.

"Now to attack, Paladin of Dark Dragon attack his Friendonkey!" shouted Sunset as her monster then flew into the air as it raced forward towards Bryant's monster as his mule let out a cartoonish effect as it was struck by the lance as it let out a cartoon scream as it was then destroyed.
Bryant's Life Points: 7700-

"Look, good first move, but you got to do better, kid. This is the final exam, step up," said Sunset in a soft tone as she encouraged the boy to not be afraid of going on the offense.

"Right, just wanted to be careful my first turn, in case you busted out some kind of powerful monster," stated Bryant.

"I get it, still, don't be afraid," stated Sunset. "I now end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 3: Bryant

"Right, time to kick things up and not hold back," said Bryant as he drew his card and was now looking to give Sunset what she asked for. "I summon my Performapal Whip Snake(1700/900)." A new monster came out as it was a snake with a smile on it as it too had a top hat with a bowtie to match his cheerful smile. "Now I'll activate the ability of my Performapal Whip Snake's special ability, so now I can switch the attack and defense points of your monster." stated the boy as Sunset's monster was now weaker. "Now Whip Snake take out her dragon!" Whip Snake then slithered up one of the tall pillars as he used his tail to grab on one of the trapeze bars as it swung back and forth as it then fell from the tall height as it was above Sunset's monster as it opened its mouth and swallowed her monster whole as its stomach was bloated and let out a cartoonish burp as he rolled over to Bryant's side.
Sunset's Life Points: 7500-

"Okay, bud. That's both weird and impressive." stated the boy at what his monster did. "I'll end my turn."

Turn 4: Sunset

"Then time I don't hold back as well," said Sunset as she drew her card and smiled, "Ready or not, cause now I'll play my Black Stone of Legend(0/0). Then I'll activate its special ability, I can now tribute it so that I can special summon one Level 7 or lower 'Red-Eyes' monster from my deck, so I choose Red-Eyes B. Dragon(2400/2000)!!" shouted Sunset as she lifted her hand in the air as her ace dragon appeared and landed on the field as it let out a roar as it caused Bryant and his monsters to be a tad bit scared.

"I'll now activate the effect of my Performapal Whip Snake, so now I can target your Red-Eyes Black Dragon and switch its attack and defense points until the end of the turn," stated Bryant as he managed to weaken Sunset's monster temporarily.

"Nice move, by switching my monster's stats, you've lowered the amount of damage you'll receive. But it's still damage, so Red-Eyes take out his Whip Snake! Inferno Fire Blast!!" commanded the bacon-haired girl as her dragon opened its mouth as a fireball started to form in its jaws. It then launched the fireball as it collided with Whip Snake as it was caught on fire and then burned up as it was destroyed.
Bryant's Life Points: 7400-

"I'll now end my turn and so my Red-Eyes has his stats returned to normal."

Turn 5: Bryant

"My turn and I'll activate the spell card, Spiral Flame Strike, so now I can add 1 Level 7 'Odd-Eyes' monster from my deck to my hand." Bryant then used his duel disk screen as he was looking at all of his options when it came to the Odd-Eyes monsters as he was thinking which one would suit him the most. He then made his decision as he pressed confirm and it slid out for him to grab as he added it to his hand.

"Then I'll tribute my Performapal Corn so that I can special summon my Odd-Eyes Lancer Dragon(3000/2000)!" shouted Bryant as he placed his monster on his card tray. Soon a bright light was shining down on him as his monster was then changed into a white light as it was gone and soon the light above glowed brighter as it died down to reveal a large dragon. It spread its wings as it had a long lance-like head as it let out a roar.

"Now you're getting into the groove kid."

"Thanks, now how about a taste of my monster's power. Odd-Eyes Lancer Dragon attack Red-Eyes!" shouted Bryant as his dragon now opened its mouth and was powering up its attack. "Oh, and I should mention my Lancer Dragon's special ability, you can't activate any spells or traps until the end of the Damage Step." Lancer Dragon then fully powered up as it fired its attack at Red-Eyes as Sunset's dragon was taken out in one blow.
Sunset's Life Points: 6500-

"I'll now activate the effect of my trap, Red-Eyes Spirit. So now my Red-Eyes Black Dragon is back in play!" shouted Sunset as her monster rose as it let out a vengeful roar.

"In that case, I'll end my turn."

Turn 6: Sunset

"My turn, and to start, I'll activate the effect of my Black Stone of Legend in my graveyard, so I can add it back to my hand as well as shuffle back my Red-Eyes Gearfried the Iron Knight back into my deck." Sunset's duel disk then ejected her two cards as she grabbed her stone to add to her hand as she placed her other monster on top of her deck as the auto shuffler kicked in. "Then I'm summoning my Red-Eyes Baby Dragon(1200/700) in defense mode." Sunset's tiny monster appeared as it let out a small roar, it then looked at Sunset as it saw the girl as its mother as it flapped its tiny wings as snuggled into Sunset's chest.

"Momma." said the small dragon.

"My precious baby," said Sunset in a motherly tone as she began to pet her tiny dragon. She then looked at Red-Eyes who lowered its head as Sunset scratched under its chin. "I love you guys too." said the girl as her monsters let out a soothing growl as they showed their love to their mistress as she smelled like a home full of lava and molten rock.

"Uh, you gonna continue?" asked Bryant.

"Hey, let a girl have a moment with her monsters," stated Sunset. "I'll end my turn with a facedown." said the girl as she managed to set her card while holding her tiny baby dragon.

Turn 7: Bryant

"Then it's my turn," stated Bryant as he drew his card, "I now summon Shield Wing(0/900) in defense mode. Then I'll have my Odd-Eyes Lancer Dragon attack your Red-Eyes B. Dragon once more." Bryant's dragon then powered up its attack once more as it opened its mouth as charged the beam. It then unleashed the attack as it managed to take out Sunset's dragon for the second time.

"Hmm." was all Sunset said as she was still petting her Red-Eyes Baby Dragon in her arms.

"I'll then end my turn."

Turn 8: Sunset

"My turn," stated the girl as she managed to draw her card while still holding her monster in her arms. "I'll then resummon my Black Stone of Legend and then activate its ability so that I can tribute it to summon my Red-Eyes Archfiend of Lightning(2500/1200)!" The ground in front of Sunset began to shake as Bryant could feel it as could Isaac and the three executives in the private box. While they were scared of what was happening, Isaac just smiled as he knew what was coming. Soon the ground cracked open as out emerged Sunset's monster as it let out a growl as the sound of thunder went off as lightning formed at its claws. Even the three suits were surprised by how the sound of thunder was happening given they were inside a building.

"Now to activate my Archfiend's special ability, now I can destroy all your monsters that have lower defense points than my monster's attack points. So even your Shield Wing is gone since I'm taking it out with a card effect and not by battle," stated Sunset. Her monster then powered up its claws as the electricity that flowed through it charged up, it then struck the ground as it began to flow through the ground as it was making its way towards Bryant and his monsters.

"I activate my Lancer Dragon's other ability, by destroying one 'Odd-Eyes' monster in my hand, I can save my monster from being destroyed!" stated Bryant as he sent away his Odd-Eyes Wizard Dragon to the graveyard as he managed to save his monster from being destroyed and leaving him defenseless. Soon the smoke that was produced by Sunset's attack faded as standing there was Bryant's dragon as it managed to survive.

"Well, well." smiled Sunset while still petting her small dragon. "Seems he's got some tricks up his sleeves. Well so do I." Sunset now looked at her hand as she began to formulate her next step. "I now end with a facedown."

Turn 9: Bryant

So far, I've been able to keep Sunset at bay with my Odd-Eyes Lancer Dragon, but sooner or later, she's gonna breakthrough, which means I need to start pushing her into a corner.

"My draw and I'll summon my Performapal Sword Fish(600/600) in defense mode." Out came from the sky a shiny object as it landed on the ground. Soon it began to move on its own as it came unstuck as the tip of the sword was a fish as it had glasses and an Elvis hairstyle as it wore a bowtie. "Now I'll activate the effect of my Performapal Sword Fish, since I summoned him, I can now lower all your monster's attack points by 600 until the end of the turn. Do it buddy!" shouted Bryant as soon multiple swordfish appeared next to their friend as they all soared towards Sunset's field as they landed near the feet of Archfiend of Lightning and in front of Sunset as she was still holding her baby. Soon both monsters felt their power-draining as Sunset's small monster let out a vicious growl as Sunset got it to calm down by petting it.

"With that done, I'll now have my Odd-Eyes Lancer Dragon attack your Red-Eyes Archfiend of Lightning!" shouted the boy as once more his dragon powered up its charge attack as soon it blasted the attack as it took out her monster. "And remember, you can't activate any spells or traps until the end of the Damage Step!"
Sunset's Life Points: 5400-

"Now then, I'll reveal my facedown, Return of the Red-Eyes! Since a 'Red-Eyes' monster was destroyed, I can now target one 'Red-Eyes' normal monster and summon it to my field from the graveyard. So rise my dragon, Red-Eyes B. Dragon!" once more Sunset now had her beloved dragon by her side while still petting her small dragon.

"Well, either way, I set one card facedown and end my turn."

Turn 10: Sunset

"My turn," Sunset drew her card as she looked at it and smiled, "Sorry little guy, but momma needs both arms for this." Sunset's tiny dragon let out a small growl as it then flew out of Sunset's arms but not before giving one last act of affection to its mother. "Now then, let's see how I handle this, I'll set the Pendulum Scale using these two cards, Scale 2 Dragoncaller Magician, and Scale 10 Red-Eyes Dark Knight!" Sunset then placed her two cards on the far side of her duel disk as the word pendulum in rainbow coloring was spelled out in between to show it worked. Both of Sunset's monsters then appeared in columns of light as their respective numbers were shown in front of them.

"Wait, hold on! You don't have pendulum cards!" said Bryant as he was shocked to see Sunset of all people using pendulum cards as only Isaac had them.

"So, boy toy. Like what you see?" said Sunset as she gave a sexy wink at Isaac.

Isaac just maintained his level of professionalism as he didn't want the Board to get any funny ideas. Sunset just laughed as she enjoyed teasing her friend as she flipped her hair and returned her focus on the duel. "Now, I'll pendulum summon!" stated the girl as a portal opened up above her as two lights came out. "I pendulum summon Red-Eyes Alternative Black Dragon(2400/2000) and Meteor Dragon Red-Eyes Impact(1800/2000)!" Sunset now had managed to summon two monsters at once.

"How?" Bryant was stunned to the core at how Sunset not only got Pendulum cards but was able to Pendulum Summon with ease.

"Now then, I'll overlay both my Red-Eyes Alternative B. Dragon and regular B. Dragon to build the Overlay Network!" Sunset's two monsters then changed into two orbs of light as they hovered in the air for a bit as a portal opened up in front of her. Soon both orbs of light entered the portal as a pillar of light emerged. "I Xyz Summon, Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon(2800/2400, OLU: 2)!" Sunset's dragon let out a roar as it caused the whole building to shake a bit as its breath came from its nostrils as its Xyz materials circled it.

"I don't like the looks of this," said Bryant.

"Indeed, cause see my new dragon has a special ability, while it has Xyz materials attached to it, it can't be destroyed by card effects. And while it has overlay units, you take 500 points of damage every time you activate an effect." smiled Sunset.

"With that, I end my turn."

Turn 11: Bryant

"My turn," said the boy as he drew his card and looked at Sunset's Xyz monster.

Even though Sunset's monster has its ability, my Lancer Dragon can still take it out. So why isn't she concerned?"

"Something wrong?" taunted Sunset.

"It's nothing, I'll now summon my Performapal Hip Hippo(800/800). My Hippo's effect activates, which means I can now summon one Level 7 or higher monster in faceup attack position. So I'll sacrifice my Hippo and my Sword Fish so that I can summon my Odd-Eyes Dragon(2500/2000)!" Bryant's two monsters then transformed into lights as they were whisked away as they were replaced by a different one. From within arose the sauropod-esque dragon with red scales covering portions of its predominately purple body. Its head thrashed in a display of primal triumph, letting loose a most distinct call. Its distinctly dichromatic eyes lit up ominously.

"Now to attack, Lancer Dragon take out her Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon!" commanded Bryant as he hoped to take out the monster before it could become an issue. "Don't forget, my monster's ability means you can't activate any spells/traps until the end of the damage step."

"Hope you don't forget that by using that ability, it cost you 500 life points," stated Sunset.
Bryant's Life Points: 6900-

Odd-Eyes Lancer Dragon then opened its mouth as it fired a powerful beam attack at Sunset's monster as a huge smokescreen went off as it obscured the vision of everybody else. Soon it began to slowly die down, as standing there was Sunset's dragon as it remained unharmed as it let out a roar.

"But how? My monster should have taken yours out, and you couldn't have saved with any of your facedowns," stated Bryant.

"I didn't use any facedowns, I used my monster's effect. See my Meteor Dragon Red-Eyes Impact can make my other 'Red-Eyes' monsters indestructible to both battle and card effects." stated Sunset.
Sunset's Life Points: 5200-

"Well, good thing I have a second dragon to attack with. Odd-Eyes Dragon take out her monster! Spiral Strike!" shouted Bryant. The bipedal dragon lunged forth, revving back its head in a grand draw of breath, the air before its elongated maw starting to ripple with heat. It let loose with a stream of red flame, striking Meteor Dragon Red-Eyes Impact head-on, resulting in a resonating explosion. "When Odd-Eyes Dragon destroys a monster and sends it to the graveyard: It inflicts additional damage equal to half the original attack points of that monster. Therefore, you take an additional 900 damage,” Bryant iterated, holding up a hand and snapping his fingers. “Reaction Burn!”

Sunset flinched a bit on seeing a ring of flame materialize around her, which then erupted in a pillar around her. Soon she shook it off as the flames around her no longer affected her as she put her hand out and snapped her fingers as Sunset made the fire stop immediately. She then flipped her hair as the last embers allowed her to show off her hotness both figurately and literally.
Sunset's Life Points: 4300-

"Woah," said Bryant as he was shocked to see Sunset shake the attack like it was nothing.

"Let's say that I've had experience when it comes to fire. Plus it allows me to have a sense of attractiveness." stated the girl as she gave a wink to her boy toy. Isaac just kept a straight composure to avoid the Board from getting the wrong message.

"Well, I'll end my turn."

Turn 12: Sunset

"My turn, and to start I'll activate my Red-Eyes Dark Knight's pendulum ability, so now until the end of my turn, I can give a 'Red-Eyes' monster on my field an extra 1000 attack points. So I choose my Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon!" stated Sunset as her knight pointed its sword at the dragon as it felt the power of fire flow through its body as it opened its mouth and a pillar of flames came out of it. "Now to attack, Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon attack Odd-Eyes Lancer Dragon!" shouted Sunset.

"Once more, I can save my Lancer Dragon simply by destroying my Odd-Eyes Dragon!" stated Bryant as his monster disappeared in a light as he sent his card to the graveyard.

"But you remember, since you activated an effect, you take 500 points of damage," stated Sunset.
Bryant's Life Points: 6400-

Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon then opened its mouth as it shot a massive fireball at Odd-Eyes Lancer Dragon as it stood its ground but was pushed back a few inches as the attack died down."
Bryant's Life Points: 5600-

"And with that, we're just about even in life points," stated Sunset with a smug smile. "I now end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 13: Bryant

"My draw and I'll summon my Performapal Spikeagle(900/900) in defense mode!" shouted the boy as out came an eagle as it was rocking a pair of sunglasses as the feathers on its wings and its body were all sharpened. "Now, I'll activate the effect of my Performapal Spikeagle's ability, so I can target one monster on my field, and then it can deal inflict piercing damage. So I choose my Odd-Eyes Lancer Dragon!"

"Don't forget another 500 life points due to you activating it," said Sunset.
Bryant's Life Points: 5100-

"It'll be worth it, cause now my Odd-Eyes Lancer Dragon can attack your Red-Eyes Baby Dragon to deal you even more damage!" stated Bryant. "And remember, you can't activate any spells or traps until the end of the damage step."

"And another 500 life points," stated Sunset.
Bryant's Life Points: 4600-

Odd-Eyes Lancer Dragon then powered up as it let out a powerful beam as it fired the attack as it made contact with Sunset's Red-Eyes Baby Dragon. The attack caused both individuals to turn away for a second as a wind effect went off as Sunset's hair fluttered in the wind. She was able to push through it as she tapped her duel disk screen and slammed her hand on the ground as the wind stopped and some fire appeared.
Sunset's Life Points: 2300-

"I now activate the effect of my baby dragon, when it's destroyed, I can then special summon 1 Level 7 or lower 'Red-Eyes' monster from my deck, and as a bonus, I can then attach my baby dragon to it to give it 300 more attack points." The fire in front of Sunset now took shape as it was now a phoenix as it circled her; Sunset touched the flames as the fire wasn't burning her but rather giving her some comfort. It then began to soar high into the sky as it made some fire appear in the air.

"Now I summon, my Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon(2800/2400)!" The fire then came together as they revealed a dragon covered in a metal body as it let out a roar as the flames that were on the metal fused to give the monster an extra layer of protection. "And don't forget my Red-Eyes Baby Dragon gives it an extra 300 attack points." informed the girl as her small dragon appeared on the back of its comrade as both let out a huge roar.

"In that case, I'll end my turn."

Turn 14: Sunset

"My turn, and to start, I'll activate the effect of my Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, so now I can revive my Meteor Dragon Red-Eyes Impact in defense mode." Another crack opened up in the ground as Sunset's monster rose as it let out a growl. "And remember thanks to my monster's effect, all my other 'Red-Eyes' monsters can't be destroyed! So now time to get rid of that dragon once and for all. Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon attack Odd-Eyes Lancer Dragon!" shouted Sunset as her dragon then opened its mouth as it shot a massive fireball towards the dragon.

"I reveal my facedown, Hippo Carnival! Now I can summon 3 'Hippo' tokens to my field and then you can't attack any of my monsters without getting rid of them first!" stated Bryant.

"So be it, but that's another 500 life points you burned," stated Sunset.
Bryant's Life Points: 4100-

Sunset's dragon then turned to one of the Hippos as it took one of them out.

"Next, I'll reveal my facedown, Red-Eyes Fang with Chain! So now my Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon can attack one more time!" shouted Sunset as her monster now took out another token of Bryant. "With a second token gone, I'll then take out the third one with my Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon!" commanded the girl as the third and last token was taken out.

"With that, I end my turn."

Turn 15: Bryant

I'm down to my last life points, which means I need to make my next few moves count.

"Now, I'll play Odd-Eyes Fusion so that I can combine my Performapal Thunderhino and Odd-Eyes Advanced Dragon so that I can fusion summon Performapal Odd-Eyes Metal Claw(3000/2000)!" shouted Bryant as his two monsters merged into one as they off a great beast that stood on two legs as it had long silver, metal claws as it let out a menacing roar.

"Once more another 500 life points," stated Sunset.
Bryant's Life Points: 3100-

"Now then, I'll play the spell card, Heavy Storm to destroy all spells and traps on the field, so your two pendulum cards are also destroyed," informed Bryant as a huge wind blew over the field as it caused every single spell and trap to be destroyed.

"Well, my pendulum cards are now sent to my Extra Deck instead of my graveyard," stated Sunset as she grabbed her cards and slid them into the Extra Deck compartment. "And another effect, means you lose 500 more life points."
Bryant's Life Points: 2600-

"All part of my plan to win, cause now I'll activate the effect of my Performapal, Spikeagle, which means my Performapal Odd-Eyes Metal Claw can now inflict piercing damage this turn."

"And I burn another 500 life points," said Sunset as another fireball made contact with Bryant as he covered up from the attack.
Bryant's Life Points: 2100-

"Seems this one is a failure for sure." said the businesswoman.

"Well, every here is in a verdict." stated the third person.

"Oh, how you wrong you all are. In case you haven't noticed, Bryant's Odd-Eyes Metal Claw allows all monsters on his field to gain 300 attack points," stated Isaac.

"Even so, were he to attack Miss Sunset's monster in defense mode, the damage will only be 1300 and she'll be left with 1000 life points. And on her next turn, she'll finish this off." said the one in charge.

"Well, that would be the case, if Bryant wasn't going to end this right now," said Isaac as he gestured the three suits to look back at the field.

"Now, I'll play one final card, Megamorph! So now since my life points are lower than yours, this spell doubles my Odd-Eyes Metal Claw's attack points so now it rises to 6000!" shouted the boy as he activated his spell as he burned away some more points.
Bryant's Life Points: 1600-

"And that's enough to end this duel, and one more thing when my Odd-Eyes Metal Claw attacks, all my other monsters gain 300 extra attack points." stated the boy as his monster now had 6300 total attack power. "Time to bring this duel to a close, Odd-Eyes Metal Claw, attack Sunset's Meteor Dragon Red-Eyes Impact, and end this duel!!!" shouted Bryant as his monster leaped into the air as it showed off its claws as it then came down through the air as it did a vicious slash attack as Sunset's monster was destroyed as it caused a wind aftereffect to happen.

Sunset just stared at the attack as she closed her eyes and smile as some flames surrounded her as she welcomed it. Soon it died down as her hair stopped fluttering as she dusted off her leather jacket and flipped her bacon-colored hair.
