Chapter 196: Exam #3

"I do speak with my cards and see the spirits of my monsters," said Isaac as both of his magicians bowed down behind their master as they showed their loyalty and relationship with the young boy. "To me, they are more than allies, they are more than servants, they are more than my beck and call, they are my friends. And they are what I draw my inner strength from." Isaac then snapped his fingers as all of the monster spirits returned to their masters' decks as it was just Isaac and the students.

"Now then, the tests begin. You all signed the disclosure agreement that you will not tell each other of your results. Through that door, you'll have your final challenge. Now you all have five minutes with each of your tutors for you and them to say some final words. I'm grateful for all you've done by being part of this program. Every single thing that I've done was to push you all to the best of your ability. Know that whether you win or lose your duel, you'll all victories in my eyes." smiled Isaac as he put his hand in as the students did the same.

"Thank you, Isaac." said the students.

"Now go kick ass!!!" shouted Isaac as allowed the kids to walk through the door.

The students all walked through the door as they began to walk down the hallway. Soon they reached another set of doors as they opened it and inside were the girls as each one of them went to their tutor.

Jack found Rainbow as she was bouncing a soccer ball with her feet. She saw her student approach as she stopped it and place the ball under her foot.

"New record?" asked Jack.

"Totally." said the chromatic girl with a smug smile. "So, listen... you know I ain't for all this mushy thing... but if I'm being honest... I'm glad to have you as my student."

"Is that so? Cause I remember our initial meeting. You couldn't stop bragging about yourself." stated Jack.

"Okay, that wasn't my brightest moment, don't have to bring it up," stated Rainbow as she was a bit embarrassed about that. "But... after a stern talking with Isaac... I see now he made the right choice in pairing us up."

"Yeah... Isaac... had a handful with the two of us. No doubt we gave him a couple of headaches with our constant bickering. But, he was right." smiled Jack.

"Yeah, and hey... despite you suffering from your burns and your backstory, if Isaac did allow us to pick our students. I would choose you."

"You're not capping, are you?" asked Jack.

"I'm not, plus you being my apprentice made everything 20% cooler." said Rainbow with a thumbs up.

"I appreciate it. And if we're being honest, despite your cocky and brash attitude. I think you're a cool girl; no other girl could match your awesomeness and I admire that." smiled Jack.

Soon the P.A. system went off as it served as the signal for the students to start.

"You know what to do private. Get on the duel field and show no fear, take no prisoners and no mercy." said Rainbow.

"Yes, Captain!" said Jack as he gave a salute to his commanding officer as Rainbow did the same to her soldier as it reminded Jack of his father and his time in the army.

Jack and the other students all stepped to seven different doors as each one was placed in front of them. They all looked at one another as they each gave small fist bumps as soon all seven of them entered their doors simultaneously. Each of the kids was in a black holding space as there was another door before them as there was a neon sign above it that would indicate when it was their turn. Soon one door of the set turned green as it said ready as the person slotted in their deck and opened the door.

Jack came to a room as it was nothing but dark as a single spotlight shined in the middle. With that as his only source of light, he then approached it as he was under it.

"Next contestant." said a voice.

"Huh?"

Jack then saw Isaac as he was in the private box with the three executives of the Board as they saw the teen boy. Given what Isaac told them about Jack and his backstory, they saw his burns and the black glove on his right hand as they wrote down some mental notes about the boy's appearance. Jack saw how they were looking at him as he felt the burns stirring his skin. He then looked at Isaac as he looked back at Jack with a stern scowl. He then sat down as everybody in the box grabbed their clipboards and rubrics.

"Contestant #3: Jack Hunt. Deck archetype: Battlin' Boxer," said Isaac as he relayed some info. "Now then... the exam starts." Isaac then pushed another button as soon the whole room lit up as it caused the boy to cover up for a sec as he soon found himself on a dueling field. He then looked forward as standing there was his opponent.

"So ready to party?" asked Pinkie as she stood there with a big smile on her face. She then slid in her deck as her duel disk activated as it projected a pink color card tray.

"Let's do this." replied the boy as he slid in his deck as his duel disk activated as it projected a bright purple card tray.

"Opponent detected. Streaming data. Duel mode set. Initiating. Commencing duel." said their duel disks.

Jack Hunt's Life Points: 8000-

Pinkie Pie's Life Points: 8000-

Turn 1: Pinkie

"I'll start things off, I draw!" said Pinkie as she looked at the card she drew and smiled. "And right away, I'll use these two my Scale 2 Madolche Infanpraline and Scale 6 Chiffonberlain to set the Pendulum Scale!" said Pinkie. She placed her two cards on the far end of her duel disk as the word pendulum in rainbow coloring was in between them to signaled it worked. Soon both of Pinkie's monsters appeared in columns of light as they had their respective numbers in front of them.

"What... how... you don't have pendulum cards?!" said Jack as he wasn't prepared for this.

"Silly, yes I do." smiled Pinkie. "And now I can summon as many cute little guys as I want from Levels 3 through 5." Soon a portal above Pinkie opened up as out came two lights. "I pendulum summon Madolche Marmalmaide(800/2000) and my Madolche Barenberg(2000/1800)." Pinkie now had a small maid sitting on her desert as she had a menu in her hand and her other monster was a white knight made as he had a sword colored dark and a shield with a buttercup color while he stood on top of a Battenberg slice of cake.

"Where did you get pendulum cards?" asked Jack.

"Don't worry about it." smiled Pinkie. "Cause since I special summoned my Barenberg, he can increase or decrease the level of a 'Madolche' monster on my field, so I'll do just that and have him decrease from Level 5 to Level 4. And with that... I'll overlay both of my delicious monsters to build the Overlay Network!" Pinkie's two small monsters then changed into orbs of light as they hovered in the air for a bit as a portal opened up in front of her. Soon both orbs of light entered the portal as a pillar of light emerged. "I Xyz Summon, Madolche Meringchioness(2400/1200, OLU: 2)!!" Out came a new monster for Pinkie as she was a tiny monster like all her others but she had some noble clothes as she was a girl who has a meringue dress with a bit of whipped cream on it to give it a bit puffiness as she wore a white necklace with her hair done in a bun as she had some bangs in front of her face.

"God damn it, why am I hungry now?" said Jack as he saw Pinkie's monster.

"I now end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 2: Jack

"Then it's my turn, I draw!" said the boy as he began to figure out his plan as he knew he had people watching and judging. "To start, I'm activating the spell Ring Announcer so that I can special summon a 'Battlin' Boxer' from my hand. So make way for Battlin' Boxer Big Bandage(1100/1400). Then I'm summoning Battlin' Boxer Headgeared(1000/1800)." Out came two fighters as they both were positioned in defense mode. "Then I activate Battlin' Boxer Headgeared's special ability, when I normal summon it, I can send a different 'Battlin' Boxer' from my deck to the graveyard." Jack then used his duel disk screen as he clicked confirm and his duel disk ejected a second Headgeared as he slid it into the graveyard. "Then I activate Big Bandage's special ability, so by banishing the second Headgeared that I sent away all my monsters on the field become its level so now Bix Bandage rises to Level 4." stated the boy as his monster changed its stats.

"With that done, I now overlay both my Level Battlin' Boxers... to build the Overlay Network!" Both of Jack's monsters then changed into dark orbs of light as they levitated in the air for a bit as a portal opened up in front of him. Soon both lights entered the portal as a pillar of light emerged. "I Xyz Summon, Battlin' Boxer Lead Yoke(2200/2000, OLU: 2)!!" Out emerged a monster as it was big as it had both of its hands locked in chains and holds as it arrived onto the field.

"With that, I'll end my turn."

Turn 3: Pinkie

"My draw and I'll summon my Madolche Butlerusk(1500/800). And by summoning this handsome gentleman, he allows me to add a Field Spell to my hand, and I choose my Madolche Chateau." Out came Pinkie's monster as he wore a butler outfit with a monocle in his right eye as he had a towel over his left arm. He had a teacup in his left hand as he poured some from a teacup in his right hand, all while keeping his gentlemanly posture. He then offered a cup to Pinkie's other monster as the girl just giggled and blushed as she accepted it and kissed the handsome boy. Pinkie's tiny gentleman then pulled out her field spell as he gave it to its mistress.

"So gentlemanly." giggled Pinkie as she took the card and rubbed his hair as she made sure not to mess it up. "Now I'll play the field spell, Madolche Chateau!" The entire field now began to change as a giant tasty looking chateau appeared behind Pinkie as the entire field had been transformed into the place on the board game of Candy Land. "Now the effect of my field spell allows me to give all my 'Madolche' monsters 500 extra attack and defense points. So my Madolche Meringchioness now has 2900 attack points. So attack him my tasty-looking monster." commanded Pinkie. Her monster heard her command as she pulled out a party cannon of sorts as she filled it up with pieces of her dress as she pulled the string and then fired the attack at Jack's monster.

"I'll activate the effect of my Battlin' Boxer Lead Yoke, so by using one overlay unit, not only is my monster safe, but it gains 800 attack points." said Jack. His monster then saw the attack coming as it took head-on as it stood its ground. Soon it broke free of its left hand from the chains as it pushed back the attack.
Jack's Life Points: 7300-

"Not bad, I'll end my turn."

Turn 4: Jack

"My turn, and now I'll have my Battlin' Boxer attack your Madolche Meringchioness!" shouted Jack.

"Not gonna happen, cause I activate my Meringchioness' special ability, by using one overlay unit, I can change any monsters on the field to facedown defense position times the number of face-up 'Madolche' monsters I control. So that means your Battlin' Boxer Lead Yoke is switched into defense mode." Pinkie's monster then absorbed one of its Xyz materials as it caused Jack's monster to flip facedown.

"Clever move, but at least I can flip my monster back up," said Jack as the monster rose in attack mode. "Then I'll end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 5: Pinkie

"My turn, and I'll summon my Madolche Chouxvalier(1700/1300) in defense mode. And as long as this tiny guy is in play, you can't harm his friends without going through him. Ohh, he's the hero saving us from danger. They grow up so fast." said Pinkie as she wiped a tear from her eyes. "Now then, I'll activate the effect of my Meringchioness' once more, so now I'll use the last overlay unit so that I can change your monster back to face-down defense position."

"I'll activate my facedown, Xyz Block. So by removing the last overlay unit of my monster, I can negate the effect of your monster's special ability." said Jack as he managed to avoid Pinkie from continuing her plan as he broke free from his last chain. "And by removing the last Xyz material, my Lead Yoke gains 800 more attack points so now he has 3800 attack points."

"Not bad, but I'll activate the pendulum ability of my Madolche Chiffonberlain. Since I control a 'Madolche' monster, I can target two cards from my graveyard back into my deck and draw two cards." Pinkie then grabbed her Madolche Marmalmaide and Barenberg as it slid out for her to grab as she placed them on top of her deck as the auto shuffler kicked in as she then drew two more cards.

"I'll then end with a facedown."

Turn 6: Jack

"My turn, I draw!" said the boy as he drew his card. "I'll begin by summoning my Battlin' Boxer Switchitter(1500/1400) and when I Xyz Summon, this card counts as two monsters." Switchitter then began to spilt as another appeared right next to him. "So now I'll overlay him so that I can Xyz Summon, Number 79: Battlin' Boxer Nova Kaiser(2300/1600, OLU: 1)!" Out emerged another fighter as it wore colorful armor with red and yellow outlines as the number glowed on its body. It then clapped its knuckles together as it landed on the field with a thud as it unfurled its outerwear.

"Now I activate the effect of my Battlin' Boxer Nova Kaiser, so once per turn, I can attach a 'Battlin' Boxer' from my hand or graveyard to my monster, so I'll take my Battlin' Boxer Big Bandage and equip it to my Nova Kaiser. And by doing that Nova Kaiser gains a power boost for each Xyz material it has attached by 100. So now he has 2500 attack points." said Jack as his monster powered up.

"Now to get right to it, Nova Kaiser take out her Madolche Chouxvalier!" shouted Jack as his monster leaped high into the air as it brought its fist down on the tiny monster as he raced forward with his horse as the lance made contact with the fist as an explosion went off.

"Now the effect of my Chouxvalier activates since it was destroyed in battle I can shuffle it from my graveyard back to my deck, but my Madolche Chateau allows me to instead add my Chouxvalier to my hand." said Pinkie as her duel disk ejected her card as she grabbed it.

"Now I'll have my Lead Yoke attack your Madolche Meringchioness!" shouted Jack as his other monster raised his fist and delivered a hard right as it took out Pinkie's monster.
Pinkie's Life Points: 7100-

"By destroying my Meringchioness, I get to add a 'Madolche' spell/trap card from my deck to my hand." stated Pinkie.

"With that, I end turn with a facedown."

Turn 7: Pinkie

"My turn, and now I'll summon my Madolche Chouxvalier once again. Now, I'll overlay both of my Level 4 Madolche Chouxvalier and Butlerusk to build the Overlay Network!" Both of Pinkie's monsters then transformed into dark orbs of light as they hovered in the air for a bit as a portal opened up in front of the girl. Soon both lights entered the portal as a pillar of light emerged. "I Xyz Summon, Madolche Teacher Glassouffle(1800/2500, OLU: 2)!!" Out came another monster as she wore glasses and an elegant dress as she had a book in one hand and with a small staff in the other as a small blackboard was behind her. "And don't forget my field spell grants my monster an extra 500 attack and defense points. So my monster has a total of 3000 defense points."

"So, my Lead Yoke can still take it out." said Jack.

"Indeed, oh well, maybe I made a mistake. Your turn." smiled Pinkie as she ended her turn.

Turn 8: Jack

Something's wrong, Pinkie doesn't seem worried that I can take out her monster. So what is she planning? Now I know how Shadow felt having this girl as his tutor.

"You okay?" smiled Pinkie with a devious smile.

"Y-Yeah, my turn." stated the boy as he drew his card. "Now, I'll activate the effect of my Battlin' Boxer Nova Kaiser so now I'll take Battlin' Boxer Headgeared from my graveyard so that I can attach it to my Nova Kaiser as an Xyz material bringing it up to 2600 attack points." Once more Jack's monster powered up as it felt the power course through its body. "Now to take out your monster, Lead Yoke destroy it!" shouted the boy. His monster then raced forward as it lifted its fists and looked to take out its target.

"I reveal my facedown, Madolche Waltz! So now since you declared an attack, you lose 300 life points." said Pinkie as her facedown flipped up.
Jack's Life Points: 7000-

"So, your monster is still destroyed."

"Not quite, I reveal my other facedown. Check, Please! Now you roll a six-sided die and what number it lands on. You have to follow that rule. One, your monster's attack points double; two, you get to return one card on the field back the hand; three, I lose life points equal to my monster's attack points; four, your attack is negated; five, your monster's attack points are cut in half; or six, you get to draw a card." said Pinkie as she finished explaining.

"Well, almost all those options are good for me," said Jack as a die appeared in his hand. "Well, just got to roll a good number." Jack then tossed the die high in the air as it traveled and soon landed as it bounced a bit as it soon landed on a number.

"Four, too bad."

"You're kidding me, right?!" shouted Jack as he couldn't believe that out of all the possible outcomes he got, he had to get the worst one. "The odds were in my favor!!"

"Sorry, that's how the cookie crumbles. Mmm, cookie." said Pinkie as she licked her lips. Soon Pinkie's monster was safe from Jack's attack.

"Fine, I'll just end my turn."

Turn 9: Pinkie

"My turn and I'll start by activating the pendulum ability of my Madolche Infanpraline, so now I can attach a 'Madolche' monster that's in my graveyard to a 'Madolche' Xyz monster on my field, so I'll take my Madolche Meringchioness and attach it to my Madolche Teacher Glassouffle." said Pinkie as another small orb began to circle her monster. "Then, I'll summon Madolche Operawr(1500/1100). And when I normal summon my Operawr, if I have no monsters in my graveyard, I can target one card on the field and return it to the hand. So I choose your Battlin' Boxer Lead Yoke!" stated Pinkie. A small bear in the shape of an opera cake appeared as it looked cute. Soon it looked at Jack as it turned into a furious beast as it let out a loud and huge roar as it caused Battlin' Boxer Lead Yoke to be surrounded in a light as it was then gone. The small bear then went back to being cute and cuddly as it let out a small growl as it would make any girl let out an "Aw".

"He's adorable isn't he." said Pinkie.

"That little thing is a monster!" said Jack as he was terrified of what Pinkie's bear could do when provoked.

"But it gets better like this, I use my monster to build the Overlay Network!" Pinkie's Madolche Teacher Glassouffle then changed into an orb of light as it hovered in the air along with its three Xyz materials as a portal opened up in front of the girl. Soon all four lights entered the portal as a pillar of light emerged. "Go Rank-Up Xyz Evolution! I Xyz Summon, Madolche Puddingcess Chocolat-a-la-Mode(2500/2200, OLU: 4)!!" Out came a small girl as she had blonde hair and wore a dress made up entirely of chocolate as she gave a wink at the boy.

"And thanks to my field spell, my monster gains 500 attack and defense points. So now it has enough attack points to take out your monsters. So attack his Battlin' Boxer Nova Kaiser!" stated Pinkie. "And don't forget, that my trap Madolche Waltz is still in effect so that means you lose 300 life points."
Jack's Life Points: 6700-

Pinkie's tiny monster then launched a bunch of chocolate cake at the monster as which resulted in some major explosions as the large monster was soon gone as Jack covered up.
Jack's Life Points: 6300-

"Well, my monster may be gone, but it doesn't go without leaving a parting gift. See when Nova Kaiser is destroyed, I can target Level 4 or lower Battlin' Boxer monsters in my graveyard up to the number of Xyz materials that were attached to my monster. So since it had 3 overlay units, that means I can revive my Battling Boxer Big Bandage and Switchitter in defense mode and Battlin' Boxer Headgeared in attack mode." stated Jack as he now had three monsters on his field.

"Now, I'll have my Operawr attack your Battlin' Boxer Big Bandage!" shouted Pinkie. "And don't forget, my trap makes you lose 300 life points."
Jack's Life Points: 6000-

"Man, Pinkie is giving me a rough time. That trap may weaken me by 300 points which isn't a lot, but it stacks up fast." said Jack to himself as he was already down to 6000 life points.

"I'll now end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 10: Jack

"My draw, and to start, I'll overlay both my Battlin' Boxer Headgeared and Switchitter and remember, when I Xyz summon, Switchitter counts as 2 monsters." Both of Jack's monsters then transformed into orbs of light as they hovered in the air for a bit as a portal opened up in front of the boy. Soon they entered the portal as a pillar of light emerged. "I Xyz Summon, Number 105: Battlin' Boxer Star Cestus(2500/1600, OLU: 2)!!" The new monster that emerged as it had a yellow and bluish color as it landed with a thud with its materials circling it.

"Now to attack, take out her Operawr!" commanded Jack.

"Don't forget, you lose 300 points for attacking." smiled Pinkie.
Jack's Life Points: 5700-

"It's worth it to destroy that evil little thing!" shouted Jack as he wasn't a fan of Pinkie's bear as wanted to just get rid of the thing. His monster then brought its fist down on the small creature as it still had the small smile as it was destroyed.
Pinkie's Life Points: 6600-

"Well, like my other cards, my Madolche Operawr can be shuffled back into my deck." said Pinkie as she grabbed her card and placed it on top of her deck as the auto shuffler kicked in.

"With that, I'll play my spell card, Battlin' Boxer Spirits. So by sending the top card of my deck, I can target a 'Battlin' Boxer' in my graveyard and special summon it in faceup defense position. So I choose my Battling Boxer Nova Kaiser and then activate his ability so that I can attach my Battlin' Boxer Big Bandage to it as an overlay unit which raises his attack by 100." said Jack as he now had two of his Xyz monsters on the field.

"I'll then end my turn."

Turn 11: Pinkie

"My turn, now I'll have my Madolche Puddingcess Chocolat-a-la-Mode attack your Battlin' Boxer Star Cestus!" commanded Pinkie "And with my trap, you lose another 300 life points."
Jack's Life Points: 5400-

"Not this time, cause I'm activating the effect of my Star Cestus' by using one overlay unit, not only does my monster avoid being destroyed, but I can negate the effect of your Madolche monster until the end of the turn. And as a bonus, any damage I would have taken, you take instead!" smirked Jack.

"Well, I got something for that, I reveal Madolche Nights! Since you activated your monster's effect, and I have no monsters in my graveyard, I can negate your monster's effect." stated Pinkie as her facedown flipped up.

"I'll see your trap and raise you with one of my own, I reveal Fancy Footwork! So since you activated a trap card during the Battle Phase, I can use this card to counter yours and destroy it." Jack's card then flipped up as it neutralized Pinkie's card as the attack from her monster made contact with Jack's as his monster put both of his arms up as he managed to push back Pinkie's monster as the damage was now sent Pinkie's way.
Pinkie's Life Points: 6100-

"Nice move." smiled the party girl. "I'll just end my turn."

Turn 12: Jack

"My turn, and to start I'll switch my Nova Kaiser into attack mode and then activate the effect of my Battlin' Boxer Nova Kaiser so I'll take my Battlin' Boxer Headgeared from my graveyard and attach it to my monster so that now he has 2500 attack points." stated Jack. "Now, I'll have my Star Cestus attack your Madolche Puddingcess Chocolat-a-la-Mode!"

"My trap is still active." informed Pinkie.
Jack's Life Points: 5100-

"That's fine, cause you remember my Fancy Footwork trap card, well since you activated your Madolche Waltz trap card, and I control a 'Battlin' Boxer', I can add my Fancy Footwork back to my hand from the grave." stated Jack as his duel disk ejected his card for the boy to grab. "Now back to the duel."

"You're gonna use Star Cestus' ability to make me take damage?" asked Pinkie.

"No, I'm using a different plan, cause by banishing my Battlin' Boxer Counterpunch from my graveyard, I can give my Star Cestus an extra 1000 attack points till the end of the turn!" informed Jack as the spirit of his Counterpunch then transferred his energy to his comrade as Star Cestus powered up as its fist was brought down on Pinkie's monster.
Pinkie's Life Points: 5600-

"And now that you're wide open, Nova Kaiser attack Pinkie directly!" shouted Jack as his other monster raced forward as it leaped into the air and reeled its arm back as it delivered a hard right to Pinkie who covered up as she was pushed back a few inches as her feet dragged along the floor leaving some marks by her footwear.
Pinkie's Life Points: 3100-

"And since you don't have a 'Madolche' monster on the field, your Madolche Waltz can't deal me damage." stated Jack with a smile as he was now in the lead.

"Interesting," said Pinkie as she dusted her shoulder off and looked at Jack.

"I end my turn with two facedowns."

Turn 13: Pinkie

"My turn, and to start, I'll activate my Chiffonberlain's pendulum ability, so I return two cards in my graveyard to my deck and then draw 2 cards." Pinkie's duel disk ejected her Madolche Chouxvalier and Butlerusk as she grabbed both of her monsters and put them on top of her duel disk as the auto shuffler kicked in as she then drew her cards. "Now I'll use the pendulum scale I've set so that I can pendulum summon." Above a portal opened up as out came some lights. "I pendulum summon my Madolche Magileine(1400/1200) and Madolche Chouxvalier!" stated the party girl as she has her two monsters on the field.

"Now I'll overlay both of my monsters to build the Overlay Network!" shouted Pinkie as both of her monsters turned into orbs of light as they hovered in the air for a bit as a portal opened up in front of her. Soon both orbs of light entered the portal as a pillar of light emerged. "I Xyz Summon, Madolche Queen Tiaramisu(2200/2100, OLU: 2)!!" Out emerged Pinkie's monster as it was a small lady who sat on her throne with a staff in her hand as she sat on her dessert throne.

"As you know my field spell grants my monster with a 500 attack and defense points boost. Then I'll activate my Queen's special ability, by using one overlay unit, I can target up to 2 'Madolche' monsters in my graveyard and shuffle them back in my deck. So I'll choose my Xyz monsters, Madolche Puddingcess Chocolat-a-la-Mode and Meringchioness. But since they're Xyz monsters, they go back to my Extra Deck." Pinkie's duel disk ejected her cards as she grabbed them and placed them back in her Extra Deck compartment.

"Great." groaned Jack as he now had to worry about Pinkie having her monsters back.

"It gets better, cause now I can shuffle up to that many cards that I returned using my monster's ability on your side. So I'm choosing both of your Xyz monsters, and they go to the Extra Deck." stated the party girl with a smile.

"What?!" shouted Jack as both of his monsters were gone as their overlay units were sent to his graveyard. Not to mention he was wide open.

"Now Madolche Queen Tiaramisu attack him directly, but remember with my trap still out you lose 300 points first."
Jack's Life Points: 4800-

Pinkie's monster then stood up from her throne as she pointed her staff at the boy as Jack was pushed back a few inches.

"Since I took damage, I can special summon my Battlin' Boxer Veil(0/1800) from my hand in defense mode!" said Jack as out emerged a monster as it had two shields on its arms as it put them together as it kneeled. "But there's more, I gain back the life points I lost."
Jack's Life Points: 4800-

"Ooh, good move." smiled the pink-haired girl. "But I'm not done, cause now I'll use my Queen Tiaramisu to build the Overlay Network." Pinkie then had her monster change into orbs of light as another portal opened up as a pillar of light emerged. "Go Rank-Up Xyz Evolution, I Xyz Summon, Madolche Puddingcess Chocolat-a-la-Mode!" Pinkie now had her monster appear as it had two Xyz materials circling it. "Then I'll use its special ability, so by using one overlay, I can special summon one 'Madolche' monster from my deck, so I'll take my Madolche Baaple(0/1800) in facedown defense position." said Pinkie as she grabbed her card from her deck and placed it sideways on her color card tray.

"I now end my turn with a facedown."

Turn 14: Jack

"My turn, I draw!" Jack drew his card and was shocked by what he drew as he looked at it. He then looked up at Isaac who looked back at the boy. He was then given a flashback.

"I give you this card, Jack. But just because you have it, doesn't mean you're ready to use it." spoke Isaac as he gave the kid the card. "You need to work your way and then once the time is right, you can play the card. Do you understand?"

"Yeah, I understand. Just how the hell does it work?" stated Jack as he looked at the card as he didn't know how to use it.

"Let me show you." Isaac then grabbed Jack's deck as he showed it off and the card. "Hope that helps, trust me it took a while to learn even with Yuma walking me through step-by-step."

The flashback ended as Jack looked at Isaac as he remembered what his head professor said. He then took a deep breath as he knew what to do. "I now play the spell card, Rank-Up-Magic- The Seventh One!" shouted the boy as his card lit up. "So now I can target 1 'Number 10X' monster in my Extra Deck and summon it with its effects negated, so I choose my Battlin' Boxer Star Cestus!" Jack's monster then appeared as it let out a cry as it took its position next to the young boy. "Then my spell lets me use my monster and Xyz Summon 1 'C' Xyz monster that's one rank higher!"

"What?!" said Pinkie as it was her turn to be shocked.

"Go Chaos Xyz Evolution!" shouted Jack as his monster turned into an orb of light as it hovered in the air for a bit as a portal opened up in front of him. Soon that orb of light entered the portal as a pillar of light emerged. For Isaac watching this, he had a smile on his face as he saw Jack do an advanced move and pull it off successfully. "Appear, Number C105: Battlin' Boxer Comet Cestus(2800/2000, OLU: 1)!" Jack's new monster was a chaos number monster as it stood in a dominating pose as it had four wings attached to it.

"A Chaos Number?!" said the suits as they looked at Isaac.

"Yup." nodded Isaac as he smiled at Jack for pulling it off.

"But that's not the only thing, cause since I control a 'Battlin' Boxer' I can special summon my Battlin' Boxer Sparrer(1200/1400)! With that, I now overlay both of my Level 4 Battlin' Boxer Veil and Sparrer to construct the Overlay Network!" Once more Jack's monsters then turned into orbs of light as they hovered in the air for a bit as a portal opened up in front of the boy. Soon both orbs entered the portal as a pillar of light emerged. "I Xyz Summon, Number 80: Rhapsody in Berserk(0/1200, OLU: 2)!" Out emerged another warrior as it wore a blue cape and had big gauntlets on its fists as they made a loud noise.

"Next, up I'm activating the spell card, Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force! So now I can target my Rhapsody in Berserk and use it to Xyz Summon a monster that's one rank higher and becomes a Chaos Number!" shouted Jack as he was pushing his limits as he wanted to prove that he wanted to be just as good as his headmaster. "Go Chaos Xyz Evolution, I Xyz Summon, Chaos Number 80: Requiem in Berserk(0/2000, OLU: 3)!" Jack now upgraded his monster as it was now in a suit of armor with the color scheme of red and white.

"Incredible." said Pinkie as she was in awe of what Jack was able to do.

"That's not all, cause my Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force allows me to get rid of all of your monster's Xyz materials, and for each one that I do, your monster loses 300 attack points. So your Madolche Puddingcess Chocolat-a-la-Mode now has 2400 attack points." stated Jack. "But I'm not done, cause next I'll play the spell card, Xyz Treasure, so now I can draw cards from my deck equal to the number of Xyz monsters on the field, and I count three!" stated the boy as he drew.

"Now, I'll activate the effect of my Chaos Number 80, since I used Number 80 to Xyz Summon, I can activate this ability. I use one overlay unit to target one card on the field and banish it, and I choose your Madolche Puddingcess Chocolat-la-a-Mode!" stated Jack as Pinkie's monster was now gone. "Then I'll activate my Number 80's other effect, so I can equip it to my Chaos Number 105 to give it 2000 extra attack points. Then I'll use the ability of my Chaos Number 105, since I used Number 105 to summon it, I can remove one overlay unit to destroy one monster you control and deal you damage equal to your monster's attack points, so while your Madolche Baaple might not have any, I'll get rid of it to clear the path towards your life points." stated Jack as he now had a clear shot at Pinkie. "Now, do it!!"

"I activate my facedown, Madolche Rush Hour! So now I can target one Xyz 'Madolche' monster in my graveyard and use it to Xyz Summon a monster that's one rank higher, so I choose my Madolche Teacher Glassouffle!" Pinkie's monster then emerged as it turned into an orb of light as it hovered in the air for a bit as a portal opened up in front of Pinkie as soon it entered the portal as a pillar of light emerged. "Go Rank-Up Xyz Evolution, Madolche Empress Haute(3000/2800, OLU: 1)!" Out emerged a high-class girl as she was dressed in a 14th-century dress as they were made up of small portions of the food as she wore white gloves that covered her arms up to her elbows. Her hair was done in a bun and when let down flowed majestically to her shoulders as she had brunette hair and a smile that made you fall in love with her as she wore a necklace.

"And like before, my monster gets a boost thanks to my field spell so it now has 3500 attack points."

"It's still weak. Take it out!" shouted Jack.

"First things first, my trap is still in effect, so you lose 300 life points." informed Pinkie.

"Not this time, I reveal my Fancy Footwork! So now I can negate your Madolche Waltz." stated Jack.

"Then I'll activate my facedown, Xyz Strike! With this I counter your trap and destroy it, then I draw one card and reveal it. If it's a monster, our monsters switch attack points and yours drop to zero." said Pinkie.

"I got one more thing, I reveal my other facedown, Corkscrew Counter. So now your trap card is negated and I deal you 500 points of damage!" said Jack as he took out Pinkie's last card as everything resolved.
Pinkie's Life Points: 2600-

Jack's monster then made contact with Pinkie's final monster as it delivered a hard right as Pinkie's monster was blown off the field.
Pinkie's Life Points: 1300-

"I then reveal my last facedown, Psychic Shockwave. So by discarding a spell/trap card in my hand, I can summon... my Jinzo(2400/1500)!!" shouted Jack as he called on the monster that had been by his side since he was a kid and the one he rescued that allowed him to get his burns. And right now the boy was calling on his monster to help him win. Out emerged the monster as it let out a cry as it emerged on the field.

"And since I summoned him in the middle of battle, I can attack with him. So now, Jinzo ends this duel!!!" shouted Jack as his monster heard the command from his master as he powered up his attack as it produced a dark orb of energy. Once it was powered up, Jinzo then fired its attack as it made contact with Pinkie who held her ground as she took the brute of the attack and soon fell to one knee as she looked at Jack with a smile.

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Jack was finally able to use Jinzo!! This is so dope!! Also the moves that Jack pulled out. Awesome as hell! Great chapter man and can't wait for more
