I’ve always liked that series by Vavacung (I think that was the name. Also, might want to mention the artist and wether you got permission or couldn’t reach the artist. Gotta at least put forward the effort). The story was interesting. I think my only issue was confusing Spike’s size. No, not that size; his height. Sometimes in stories where the sizes aren’t described or if I miss the line the character kind of changes mid story as I try to figure it out and that’s always weird.

I remember a fic written way many years ago (2012-2013 if I recall) about multiple mares being interested in Spike, and somehow Chrysalis showed up somewhere in the story, but was not shipped immediately with Spike. As usual, most comments were about Spike x [insert lucky mare here] when somepony mentioned something like "New ship: Spike x Chrysalis, so they could have dragon-changeling hybrids. That would be gangsta." Since then, I have found a few Spikealis stories, like this one by closet brony 77 and I have become a great fan of this ship too. Keep going!

Unfortunately not. They commissioned me for a story, of which, I could use the cover art for inspiration. With that said, the short dragon series is pretty good, and carries its story quite nicely through the art itself.
