I saw them as the voices from Know Your Mare: the normal one was Discord himself, the italicized voice was Chryssaliss (I STILL KEEP SPELLING THAT WRONG), and the underlined voice is Pip. If they were the cores, though, I could see the normal font as Wheatley and the italicized one as GLaDOS. Wheatley even had his own itch he couldn't get rid of.
