Chapter - 41 - Ultimatum

Connor stood still as the guards locked the shackles around his wrists, chaining him to the dungeon cell wall. He watched silently as the guard left, locking the cell door. Anger ran through his veins, knowing that Alexander would be having a field day over his situation. Connor slammed himself down on the bench, the chains shackling him to the wall clinking furiously.

"Just keep calm, Connor," he muttered to himself, "Don't let him know he's getting to you. Still, it could be worse."

"I don't believe it."

...shit.

Connor hesitantly looked up to the cell door, and saw through the bars the occupant of the cell opposite.

"It's about time you were put where you belong you filthy creature!"

*MEANWHILE, BACK IN THE DINING ROOM*

Celestia has left soon afterwards to begin paperwork on Connor's and Vulcan's arrest and charges, much to her great displeasure. Luna also left to consult with her Royal Adviser to see if there was any legal loophole she could use to help them. The rest of the gang stood around the dining table.

"Are you happy now?"

"Excuse me?" Alex replied, looking down at his glaring wife.

"Connor has done absolutely nothing wrong."

"He hit me. Several times."

"You were asking for it," she replied stepping closer.

"How was I asking for it?"

"You were goading him. Belittling him as usual," Star Light continued, closing the gap further.

"I was pointing out that he-"

"Is not what you consider a man?"

"...he was wearing a dress and a tiara!"

"So? As I recall, Scotsmen wear kilts."

"That's not the same."

"It is to me. Now, you will drop charges against both Connor and Vulcan."

"I will do no such thing."

"Yes you will," Star Light replied, her voice firmer with a slight shrill.

"I will not!"

"Alex, either drop the charges against them or..."

Star Light hesitated, biting her tongue and almost bursting into tears.

"Or what?" asked Alex.

"...or I'll file for divorce!"

Alex flinched, clearly not expecting the response. Connor's sisters and the Elements watching could only watch in growing concern and worry as the increasingly worsening situation.

"Anna-"

"Drop the charges or I will do it!" Star Light screamed, tears beginning to fall.

Alex walked forward to try and comfort Star Light and extended his hand, only to have it swatted away by a strong hoof.

"Don't touch me!" Star Light hissed, "Until you drop the charges, I will not see or hear from you."

"Anna-"

"You have until midnight to drop the charges. If you don't you will, as far as I'm concerned, no longer be my husband."

Tears began to fall as Star Light turned on the spot an flew away, flying out of the room. Her sobs easily heard as she did. Elizabeth ran after her, as did Fluttershy, while the rest remained with Alex. None of them hiding their contempt.

"You can be a real arsehole at times," Bella curtly said, before walking out.

The rest soon followed, leaving Alex alone in the dining hall.

"You look utterly ridiculous."

"Takes one to know one, Bluey."

"YOU WILL ADDRESS ME AS 'YOUR ROYAL HIGHNESS'!" Blueblood snapped, stroppily stomping his hooves.

"You aren't royalty. You're a commoner. You were stripped of your royal titles after your arsehole behaviour."

"BE SILENT, COMMONER!"

"Or what?" Connor grinned, "What are you gonna do?"

"I will escape and get my revenge!"

"Yeah," Connor replied, rolling his eyes, "Sure you will."

Alex grabbed a whiskey bottle and tumbler and walked over to his chair, slamming himself down into the chair and pouring himself a glass and downing it in one shot. Years of teetotalism had softened his inhibitions to alcohol and the strong, overwhelming taste of the whiskey caused him to cough a few times.

"Fuck me, that was good," he said it himself, pouring another, "I don't know why I ever gave this up."

"Sister!" Luna bellowed, barging into Celestia's office, "We DEMAND our student be released immediately!"

"You know I can't do that, Luna. Not unless Group Captain Wakefield agrees to drop the charges."

"Yes you can. You can say it's not in the public interest. Or simply smack some sense into that misogynistic brute!"

"Luna!"

"What? Alex was looking for a reaction out of Connor and rather than defend your so called 'friend', you went against him!"

Celestia recoiled in horror, "How could you say that? Connor is my friend!"

"You have a very odd way of showing it."

Celestia felt as though she had been slapped, "I can't show favouritism, I have a duty to uphold the law."

"I am going to release Connor anyway."

"You can't do that!"

"I am a Princess. And Connor is my personal student. I believe that gives me the rights to determine what punishment, if any, be hoofed out."

"And what do I tell Alex when he realises he will be denied justice simply because Connor is in a privileged position?"

"Tell him to take it like a man," Luna replied firmly, storming out of the room, "I'm sure he'd understand."

"Hey Stiff Wings," Spitfire said through the bars off the cell door.

"Hey Milkshake, you OK?" Connor asked from the far side of the room, his wrists shackled to the wall.

"I'm fine. You?"

"Angry."

"At me?" Connor asked, suddenly looking worried.

Spitfire shook her head, "No. At Alex. And how you're being locked in here, chained to a wall like a common criminal."

"It's a bit excessive," Connor replied, jangling the chains, "And demeaning,"

"If I could, I'd bust you out."

"Thanks, though I don't think that would bode well for your career."

"No, but at least you'd be free."

"Then allow me."

Spitfire looked over to see who spoke and went wide eyed at who was approaching. She backed way a small bit to allow the approaching individual room to stand in front of the cell door.

"Luna!" Connor said, "What brings you here?"

"We are releasing you. As your personal teacher, we have special privileges and rights pertaining to situations like this."

Luna levitated some keys over to the cell door and quickly unlocked it before stepping inside. Approaching Connor, she levitated another set of keys to the shackles on his wrists and unlocked them also. They fell to the floor with a clang as Spitfire helped Connor to his feet, brushing the dust and dirt off of his dress as well.

"So? What now?" he asked, approaching Luna.

"Now, we leave."

"What about Alex?"

"We will deal with him later. And our sister too."

"What of myself? And Vulcan?"

"With you, as your personal teacher I can administer punishments if necessary in criminal matters. However, Vulcan is an ordinary civilian, I can't extend the same to him."

"Pity. What will be done with me though?"

"We will discuss it later. For now though, we must leave."

"Fine. Could I see Vulcan before we do?"

"Of course."

Connor and Spitfire followed Luna out, ignoring Blueblood's demands to be released, and headed for Vulcan's cell. Within a few seconds, they arrived. Like Connor, Vulcan too was shackled to the wall.

"Hey Dad," Connor said, looking at the chains in disdain.

Vulcan looked up and smiled at the sight, "Hey Connor. You being released?"

"I think so. Being a personal student of royalty gives Luna special rights over me."

"I'm guessing they don't extend to family members?"

"Sadly, no. I just thought I'd stop by before I left to face the music."

"It's appreciated. And don't worry about me, I'll gladly do time for smacking that prat."

"I imagine he will be quite displeased at seeing me released."

"Oh well."

"Quite. Anyway, I'll see you soon. When you get out, feel free to stop by our place."

"Will do. See you around kid."

The trio left the dungeons soon after, quickly making their way to Luna's office. Walking inside, Luna walked over to her chair before pointing to the chair in front of it and frowning.

"Sit."

Connor obeyed, feeling a little nervous at Luna's curt tone and more-than-usual serious look.

"Spitfire, would you kindly wait outside?"

"...of course," she replied, nervously looking between Connor and Luna.

Spitfire and Connor shared a quick hug before the former left, closing the door behind her. Connor turned back to face Luna, ready to face the music.

"Connor, I would just like to say, that I know how you feel about Alex. And that I agree that he was looking for a confrontation."

"But?" he asked, realising he was about to be given a stern talking too.

"But...I can't overlook the fact that you did assault another person. As a Wonderbolt and my personal student, higher standards are expected of you by virtually everyone."

Connor began to feel a pang of guilt and indignation, "Alex is just going to love this. If I'm punished in anyway it's only going to play into his hands."

"I know. But at the same time, I can't look to be looking over when my personal student assaults another. No matter how justified it seems."

"What is my punishment then?"

"We will think of something," Luna replied, eyeing Connor with a smirk.

"Are you certain?"

"Yeah," Alex slurred, "Before I sober up and change my mind."

"Very well. I shall inform Connor and Vulcan immediately."

Celestia left the dining room as Alex almost immediately fell asleep at the table, and made her way down to the dungeons. On the way, she reminisced about the fun times she and Connor had had together in the time he'd been in Equestria, and feeling dread over the likely ruination of their friendship due to recent events.

How many friends have I lost due to having to do my duty?

Celestia entered the dungeons and approached the jailer on duty who quickly stood to attention.

"Guard, the prisoners Vulcan and Connor Wakefield are to be released immediately. Bring them here at once."

"Yes ma'am," the jailer replied.

A few minutes later, Vulcan was stood in front of Celestia, his mood soured somewhat.

"Vulcan, Alex had decided to drop the charges against both yourself and Connor. Speaking of whom, where is Connor?" she asked, looking to the jailer.

"Princess Luna released him earlier," Vulcan replied.

Damn it, Luna!

"Very well," she said, refraining from slamming her head into the wall, "I shall speak to him tomorrow, it's getting late now. In the meantime, you are free to leave, Vulcan."

"So that's it then? I'm free to go. No apologies for how Connor has been treated?"

"I will speak to Connor later, but-"

"But what?" Vulcan snapped, not caring as to whom he was speaking too, "He might not say it but he'll feel like you abandoned him while that misogynistic brute harassed and ridiculed him."

"Vulcan-"

"Good day, Princess."

Without another word, Vulcan walked away; ignoring the scowl from the jailer for showing such disrespect. Vulcan slammed the door behind him, the waft of air causing several stacks of paper to go flying.

"I'd only just finished sorting these!" the jailer grumbled.

"Would you like some assistance?" Celestia asked, trying to fight back tears.

"No thank you, Princess. It'll give me something to do other than listen to the prattling of His Former Royal Highness."

A small smile crossed Celestia's lips, "Very well. I shall leave you to it."

Celestia left the dungeon and made her way back to her quarters to retire early for the night, the days events having taken their toll on her emotionally. Entering her quarters, she slumped on to the bed, burying her head into the duvet. Soon afterwards, there was a knock at the door.

"Come in," Celestia said tiredly, raising her head.

The door opened and a maid walked in.

"Apologies Princess, but I saw you walk in and wondered if you would like your usual tea and scones?"

Celestia smiled, "I would appreciate that. Thank you."

The maid bowed and left, closing the door.

As soon as the door clicked closed, Celestia flopped down onto the bed once more, laying on her back and staring up at the enchanted ceiling depicting the night sky in a holographic like illusion. Something Luna did herself.

"How can I make things up to Connor?" Celestia wondered aloud.

*THE FOLLOWING DAY*

Connor stood in his quarters with Spitfire and Elizabeth in attendance, both enjoying the spectacle of Rarity tending to Connor's wardrobe requirements. Snickering behind their hooves and hands respectively.

"How does it fit, Connor?" Rarity asked, finally zipping up the back of the dress.

"I can't breathe!" he wheezed dramatically.

"Perfect!"

"How is me not breathing 'perfect'?"

"It means the dress fits you perfectly."

"The others don't feel so tight."

"As I said, you must have put on weight."

"Why did I agree to do this?" he asked with a sigh, questioning his sanity once more.

"Because you want to piss dad off?" Elizabeth replied, "And because Luna asked you to."

"She didn't ask, this is my 'punishment'. Apparently I have to look smart when meeting important ponies as the Princess's personal student and a suit wasn't 'regal' enough. No pressure then."

"You'll do fine," Elizabeth replied, "Princess."

"Piss off," Connor replied, rolling his eyes.

"My my, such language," Rarity replied, "I think we'll have to talk to Princess Luna about extending your punishment."

"Connor wouldn't consider it a punishment though, would he?" Elizabeth asked, grinning ear to ear, "He likes wearing pretty dresses."

"I do NOT! It's breathing I like."

"Stop being such a drama queen," Rarity replied, giving the dress one final look over.

"Says you."

"Excuse me?!"

After finally being allowed to leave by Rarity, Connor left and made his way to Luna's office and waltzed straight in where he saw that she too had donned a dress and regalia befitting her station.

"Ah, Connor," she said smiling, looking up at his dark blue dress, "You look splendid. That style suits you."

"Errr, thanks," he replied, still not convinced he did so, "You wanted to see me."

"Yes. I have something I wish to give to you."

"Oh?"

Luna turned around with with said item in her magical grip, "To go with your ensemble."

"Is this really necessary?" Connor asked, eyeing the item uneasily, still not quite at ease at doing it.

"Yes. Tis part of your punishment."

Connor sighed and bowed his head forward, relenting to his superior's wishes. He remained motionless as Luna placed an almost near replica of her tiara on his head, the only difference being it being larger with five spikes instead of three. Connor walked over to the nearby full length mirror to examine his appearance.

"How ridiculous do I look?" Connor asked, turning around to face Luna.

Luna frowned, "You don't look ridiculous. You look Splendid. The tiara suits you."

"I beg to differ," Connor replied, blushing slightly, "You don't mind me doing this? Or lending me your tiara?"

"Of course not. In fact," Luna replied, placing one of her silver and sapphire necklaces around his neck, "I would like you to wear such attire from now on whenever I am teaching you, or engaging with me in formal functions. Consider it a uniform of sorts. Besides, this is a royal palace and there are certain standards to be met."

"Alex will be pissed off."

"I don't give a shit what he thinks," Luna replied with a frown.

"Wow. Did I just hear Princess Luna swear?" Connor asked with a cheeky smile.

"Yes," Luna replied with a satisfied smile, before quickly frowning severely, "And what have I told you about calling me 'Princess' in private settings?"

"Sorry, Luna."

"You are forgiven," Luna replied, her smile returning, "Now, shall we go and meet our guests?"

"Sure. Do they know I will be attending?"

"No. But as my personal student they will not object."

"Are you sure?"

"Positive."

"What will be involved at this meeting?"

"An introduction over tea, then a cooked lunch in the castle conservatory, followed by further discussions and refreshments in the ball room."

"I won't have to dance will I?"

Luna failed to suppress a giggle, "No, my student. However, there is a piano if you wish to play."

"I might. What's the meeting about anyway?"

"Business ponies wish to discuss relaxing the law regarding overnight trading. At the moment, no shop is permitted to be open after 6pm, or open before 9am."

"That's ridiculous."

"Indeed. My sister repeatedly refuses to change the law, claiming that workers would be exploited if they were changed."

"Workers are exploited regardless. Allowing shops to open during less sociable hours would allow ponies who work odd hours do some shopping to."

"We agree. The ponies in question run some of the biggest chains in Equestria as well as union representatives of small shop owners, so they are coming to visit so we can establish a plan of action to convince my sister to stop blocking any attempt at change. We will also be discussing ways in which we can improve infrastructure for both commuting and logistics."

"Sounds fun," Connor groaned, "I'll try not a fall asleep too quickly."

"You won't," Luna replied, giggling, "If you do, well...I advise you not too."

"Why?"

"Or you will be the target for my next prank."

"That sounds terrifying."

"It will be. Now, I understand that my sister wishes to speak to you?"

"Yes. I'll go over and see her now, before the meeting."

"Very well. I shall be waiting for you in my office. Come no later than 1330."

"Will do."

Connor quickly left the office and walked down the corridors on his way to the throne room, the most likely location of Celestia at the current time. Soon enough, he approached the throne room doors, where two guards were on sentry duty.

"Is the Princess in here?"

"She is," one of them replied, "Go on in, she has been expecting you."

The two guards stood aside allowing Connor to open the door and enter. Closing the door behind him he began to walk towards the throne, his shoes making a noise as he walked along the marble floor. A sound that caught the attention of Celestia.

"Connor," she said with a small smile, "How are you?"

"I've felt better."

Celestia's face soured, if only for a moment, before returning to her usual cheery mood, "Good. I just wanted to talk to you before your meeting this afternoon."

"What about?"

"Yesterday."

"What is there to discuss?" Connor asked, his tone firm, "Alex shot his mouth off and i hit him, entirely justified, and was thrown into the slammer. Despite earlier promises from you that I would never be put there."

"...I know," Celestia replied, looking away in shame.

"So what did you want to see me about?"

"Alex has agreed to drop the charges against yourself and Vulcan."

"Really?" Connor asked, not sounding convinced, "I don't believe you."

"I assure you it's true."

"Where is he now?"

"Sleeping off a hangover."

"Excuse me? Hangover?" Connor repeated, not quite certain he heard what he did.

"Yes."

"Alex doesn't get drunk. He doesn't even drink."

"He did last night. He could barely stand. I had to levitate him to his quarters."

"If he was as drunk as you say he was, then how could he say he wants to drop charges if he was inebriated?"

"He was sober enough to be certain. But continued to drink in excess and is now paying the price."

"Amateur," Connor muttered.

"Have you had hangovers yourself?" Celestia asked, a playful smile crossing her lips.

Damn pony hearing.

"A few times," he mumbled, folding his arms, "What of it?"

"Nothing. Just make sure Matron doesn't find you if you are drunk. She has her own 'unique' way of dealing with drunks."

Connor looked away sheepishly, "I know."

A short time later, Connor walked alongside Luna to the meeting; his heart beginning to pound a little faster and his blood pressure rising.

"Relax, Connor," Luna said, rubbing a comforting hoof on his back, "You'll do fine."

"More likely make a tit of myself."

"Connor, I wouldn't have asked you to attend if I felt you couldn't hoof it. In fact, I think the ponies we're meeting would be most interested in how things work in your world. It could help them make a stronger case in favour of changing retail laws."

"Well...it was awkward when we ran out of milk on Saturday night one time. Had to go the whole of Sunday without a cup of tea."

"My condolences."

"I had to have coffee instead."

"And just what is wrong with coffee?" Luna asked, suddenly scowling. Her muzzle getting very close to Connor.

"It's not tea."

"My sister says the same thing."

"Will tea be-"

"Yes. Could you imagine a business meeting without tea and biscuits?"

"Purgatory!"

"Indeed."

The pair stopped in front of a large double door, flanked by two of Luna's Night Guard.

"It's not too late for me to run away is it?"

"No. But you wouldn't run very far in a dress."

"I can always try."

"But you won't."

"And why not?"

"Because there is the distinct possibility that that I may have commissioned a white chocolate cake to be made by a certain pink pony, to be given to you after the meeting. But only if you attend."

"White chocolate?"

"White chocolate. Which by extraordinary coincidence is your favourite? Is it not?"

Connor, acknowledging defeat, stood up straight and stretched out a hand, "You play a dirty game, Luna."

Luna took a hoof and shook his hand, "You sometimes have to play dirty to win."

Luna nodded to the guards who stepped aside. Luna opened the door with her magic and with Connor following, walked inside. The business and union ponies all stood respectfully while gazing the attention to Connor.

I can feel their eyes on me.

He continued to follow Luna who headed for the head of the table, while Connor stopped behind a chair a few seats away, next to a stallion dressed in a tailor-made business suit and slicked back mane.

"Thank you for coming," Luna said, "As you can see, my student will be joining us today. Not only to further his studies in business management, but also as he has some ideas I'd like him to share from his world in regards to retail and shopping."

"We'd be very much interested in hearing what he has to offer."

Connor looked over to the stallion speaking, seated opposite him.

"Connor, allow me to introduce Aurum Ingot. CEO of the North Vanhoover Trading Company."

"Pleasure," Connor replied, extending a hand.

Aurum extended a hoof, "Likewise."

The pair shook the respective appendages, much to Luna's delight.

"Now then," Luna said, having picked up Connor's Yorkshire-ism's during their lessons together, "Let's begin."

All present took their seats and tea was soon brought, much to Connor's relief.

"Now," Luna began, "I think we should start on the matter of the current legal opening hours. 0900-1800 is insufficient and ultimately harmful to the economy. A long time ago it may have been ideal, but Equestria's population has grown exponentially over the centuries and attitudes and lifestyle changes have become incompatible with how things are."

"I'll say," the stallion next to Connor said, "For ages now, I've been having complaints from customers saying they can't get what they need because none of my stores are open after they finish work. We're losing thousands of bits in potential profit because of it."

"The tourist industry suffers too," a mare called out, "Tourists visiting the seaside can't enjoy something as simple as an ice cream because current laws forbid the selling of them in Sundays."

Connor groaned internally.

This is gonna be a loooooong afternoon.

"Serves you right!"

"Stop yelling," Alex groaned, still laying in bed on his side with a pillow pressed against his ear.

Star Light remained sitting on her haunches on the bed beside Alex, his hangover still pounding away in his head.

"Quit whining! You need to sober up!"

"Why?"

"Because you need to apologise to Connor and..."

"And?"

"And because I bloody well told you to!"

Alex pressed the pillow against his ear once more, only to feel it roughly pulled away. Looking up in annoyance, he glared at Star Light.

"I'm trying to sleep."

"It's afternoon and you're getting up, NOW!" she yelled, throwing some clothes at him.

"Fine."

A few minutes later after changing into simple button shirt, trousers and shoes, Alex walked into the lounge of their room to see Star Light sitting on the sofa, alone. Her ears twitching, she looked over and saw him coming and smiled, patting the seat next to her.

"Come on, Alex. Sit yourself down."

Alex walked over and sat beside his wife who immediately turn around and sat on her haunches beside him, facing him.

"So you decided to drop the charges?"

Alex nodded, "Yeah."

"What made you changed your mind? Was it the threat of divorce?"

"Partly."

"Partly?"

"I had a few drinks and went over everything that's happened. From not telling Connor about what is really is and where he really comes from, to trying to get work and other...things."

"Things? You mean last night?"

Alex nodded, "I still don't feel right with it, what he's doing."

"You mean his job? Or choice of wardrobe?"

Alex sighed, "The latter."

"It bothers you that much?"

Alex nodded.

"Why?"

"It was the societal attitude I was raised in."

"So?"

"Things were different then. And Earth is very different from Equestria."

"I've noticed," Star Light replied, "Ponies are more open minded."

Alex rolled his eyes, "Let's not start this again."

"Start what?"

"Reminding me of how great Equestria is and how much better than Earth it is."

"Well for starters poverty and war don't exist in Equestria. Remind me, when was the last time there wasn't a conflict on Earth?"

"Alright, you have a point there. But-"

"But nothing, Alex. Connor is not the one at fault here, you are."

"How? When he's the one who-"

"I don't care that he wears dresses. You're at fault because of the way you acted. You don't like what he does? Fine. But behaving like you did was unacceptable."

"What do you want me to do? Doll myself up too?"

Star Light rolled her eyes, "Stop being so immature. No, all I want is for you and Connor to at least talk."

"Talk?"

"Yes. Go for a meal at a pub, let him take you on a tour of Wonderbolt HQ."

"Why would I do either of those things?"

"Because you have a rift to heal with your son. You've seldom ever shown interest in anything he's ever interested in. It's like you never have time for him."

"That's not true. I can't help it if work gets in the way."

"Perhaps, but you always seemed to make time for the girls."

Alex sighed, "Fine. I'll talk to him."

"Good."

"And if he decides to doll himself up?"

Star Light frowned, "Then you'll accept it. Maybe if you bothered to ask him, he might tell you why he likes it."

"You mean you know?"

"Of course I do. I'm his mother."

*MEANWHILE*

"Hi Fluttershy."

"Hello Elizabeth," she replied, her cheeks going a little pink, "Your dress looks very pretty."

"Thank you. It's another one Rarity made."

"It's nice to see you again."

"You too, Shy. I'm glad you could join us in going out on the town. I see you've brought the little cutie with you too."

Angel hopped down off Fluttershy's head and hopped over to Elizabeth, who picked him up and nuzzled him, much to his enjoyment.

"So, where were we going to go?" Elizabeth asked as Angel settled down in Elizabeth's arms.

"Rarity thought about shopping down Manefair first, then stopping for afternoon tea and spa treatment at The Ritz."

"Sounds wonderful."

Connor squirmed uncomfortably in his seat. Partially because the tight fitting dress was making it harder to breath when sitting, but mostly because his incontinence had once again shown itself. The meeting has been going on for three hours, with Connor in purgatory for two of them. To make matters worse, Connor was sometimes asked questions which clearly went over his head, mostly due to his lack of experience and/or knowledge on finance. Fortunately though, Luna was at hand to save him from making a fool of himself.

"Well, mares and gentlecolts," Luna said, standing up, "I think a recess is due. We shall break for tea, which will take place in the dining room, and reconvene after at 1830."

The mares and stallions nodded and soon began leaving the room, while Connor remained seated. Once the door closed, leaving only the pair, Luna spoke.

"Do you require assistance, Connor?"

Connor nodded, "Only to remove the dress so I can....you know."

"Of course. I can lend a hoof if you so desire."

"I should be fine," Connor replied, blushing, "Thanks anyway."

"I meant in removing your dress, not..."

"Ah, well, yes please. Can you help with putting it back on afterwards?"

"Of course. Do you wish for me to teleport us to my quarters?"

Connor nodded.

With a flash of her horn, Connor soon found himself in Luna's quarters, dimly lit by candlelight.

"Allow me," Luna said, unzipping the back of the dress.

"Thanks. I left my supplies in the Wonderbolt dorms though."

"I shall go and get some for you. In the meantime, use the bathroom to do what you need to do."

"It's beautiful," Fluttershy said, looking a the butterfly shaped emerald necklace.

Elizabeth reached around Fluttershy's neck and fastened the necklace in place.

"It suits you," she said, resting her hand on Fluttershy's cheek.

Fluttershy gently wrapped a hoof around Elizabeth's wrist, "Thank you."

"You're welcome, Shy," Elizabeth replied, leaning in close.

"That's...that's monstrous," Rarity said, wide eyed.

"I know," Spitfire replied, scowling at the financial statement severely.

"How? Not even I could do that."

"I don't know Rarity. But I have a punishment in mind."

*A SHORT WHILE LATER*

Connor watched as the doors the the meeting room closed, finally bringing an end to the tedious meeting.

"Thank fuck that's over," the muttered, walking over to a chair and dropping into it, immediately resting his head on the table.

"Now now Connor," Luna replied, giggling a little, "You'll be attending many more such meetings over the years."

Connor groaned loudly, "Must I?"

"I'm afraid so. Now, would you accompany me in having supper?"

"Sure. Anything in particular?"

Luna, with a flash of her horn, teleported the pair of them to her quarters where she pointed to a bottle of whiskey and two glasses, beside which was a large, multi tiered white chocolate cake.

"As promised, my student, your cake."

"There," Spitfire said, locking the final cuff around the bed post, "All ready."

"Now all I need to do," she continued, eyeing the ball gag and paddle, "Is wait."

"Luna, where are you?"

Celestia continued to walk around, unable to find her sister who had not gone to the Throne Room to begin her night duties. Eventually arriving at Luna's private quarters, Celestia knocked and having not received a response, opened the door and walked in.

"Luna, this isn't funny," she sternly said, frowning, "You are supposed to be-"

Celestia stopped talking when he saw the behemoth before her.

Her eyes lit up and an ear to ear grin adorned her face. Squealing like a little filly, she launched herself at the cake.

*LATER THAT NIGHT*

Connor watched Luna's chariot leave, the very long and boring meeting having finally ended after many many long, laborious hours. He walked inside his home and closed the door behind him, exhausted from the days tasks, and locked it. Taking his shoes off, he walked tiredly into the lounge and flopped down into one of the armchairs and began to doze off. Too tired to even remove his dress. Not that he could even do it on his own.

"Don't even think about going to sleep, Stiff Wings!"

Connor opened his eyes and saw a grumpy looking Spitfire standing over him, her hind legs between his legs and the inside arm rests, and her forelegs above his shoulder. Her wings were flared and her eyes burning.

Uh oh. She sounds pissed off.

"Something wrong, darling?" he asked tiredly.

"Something wrong?" she repeated, her eye twitching, "You tell me, Princess."

"Well-"

"TEN THOUSAND BITS!"

"I'll pay it off!" he said quickly.

"HOW DOES ANYPONY SPEND TEN THOUSAND BITS IN A RESTAURANT?!"

"Errr..."

Spitfire pushed her nose into his face, "Come with me!"

Uh, yeah. No. I'm sorry, but Celestia basically standing by for all of this, and possibly ruining Connor's career and then refusing to own up to anything? And all to make Luna look better at that, from a writing perspective?

Yeah, no. That's not Celestia, and again I get the feeling you don't like her character despite what you say. I'm sorry, but this officially killed the story for me.

Great work keep it up

So much going on..

He lives! Nice update and keep up the good work been waiting along time for an update. One of the best stories I have ever read.

"Well for starters poverty and war don't exist in Equestria. Remind me, when was the last time there wasn't a conflict on Earth?"

The comma seems unnecessary.

Vulcan looked up and smiled at the sight, "Hey Connor. You being released."

"Really?" Connor asked, not sounding convinced, "I don't believe you."

"I assure you it's true."

"Where is he now?"

"Sleeping off a hangover."

"Excuse me? Hangover?" Connor repeated,

"He was sober enough to be certain."

"Where is he now?"

"Sleeping off his hangover."

"Amateur," Connor muttered.

Not a potential error, but I found it odd how that part of the dialogue was used twice.

"And because I bloody well told you too!"

Uppercase S should be lowercase?

Connor watched as the doors the the meeting room closed, finally bringing an end to the tedious meeting.

"Thank fuck that's over," the muttered,

Love this series! When is the next chapter due?

I liked this story at first, but now I don't think I can read it anymore because of Rarity and Spitfire treating Connor like a bitch. I feel like these things should not be done to him. but like I said I don't hate the story and sorry if it came off like that.

"Hello, I am Conner, the android sent by Cyberlife."

- Definitely something this guy says

I was inspired to write the rhymes of Freaky Fred from Courage the Cowardly Dog, modifying them a little bit to suit the ending of the chapter. I didn't do much!

Not trying to be rude, but do you plan on continuing this book someday? I really love this story.

11044647
I will at some point. But lately I have had virtually no creative spark.

If you don’t mind me asking, how come you haven’t after a year? I’m not trying to be rude, I’m just asking.

Partly writers block, partly work. Up until February this year I was a carer. I left the job due to it pushing me to physical and mental breaking point. I'm a lot better now, but still have a bit of writer's block.
