That'd about do it.
I know a friend who's going to enjoy this.
This hit her harder than I thought.
So now she's horny AND angry.
Among other reasons.
You're a good pony, Celestia.
Ah. Lowers inhibitions even more than normal alcohol.
So that combined with alcohol which already does that...
Eh?
Oh. That makes sense.
Wait, what?
... OK then.
That, is big.
Kinda reminds me of how Goku Black can adapt stupid fast to whatever he's up against.
Can't blame you.
I'd say ponies are herbivores, but they don't vomit either.
Clever.
I'm worried.
That's a relief.
Oh boy.
That's for sure.
She pronks a lot.
Useful!
It's not forever.
You frighten me.
You're a good man.
Well, a criminal defense attorney, which is probably different from dealing with copyright infringement.
Yes.
Phrasing, Maya.
I'll keep following this in the meantime then so I know when that is.
Too many emotions so I'll just say
8819012
That actually wasn't one of my favorite episodes last season, but it's good enough to borrow from, at least.
Think you mentioned her before as someone who really likes the idea of Rarijack. If you do show it to her, ask her to let me know if she likes this.
She's more or less like Maya right now after she had her own attraction to Phoenix forced upon her. But this was even worse in some ways since Rainbow got shown far more directly it was there. She wasn't emotionally ready for it, but she'll come around faster than Maya did, thanks in part to what follows in this section.
Just like Maya was.
True, but it's a good enough reason for now. There's an extra 'oomph' reason for each mane 6 member, two of which Rarity and AJ already gave.
At heart, she very much is. And that's why Mia arranged all this. Celly can't ascend to the Summerlands (at least, not for a very long time), so she brought the Summerlands to her.
And its effects are even more enhanced when paired with it.
Bingo. That's also why Pinkie's party punch was so intense and hit so hard; it's spiked with black cherry cider and burro sangria as well.
Pretty much! "Screw the rules; I'm Pinkie Pie!"
Exactly the reaction of Phoenix and Twilight.
I'm particularly proud of this, actually. It gives her appearance real meaning.
This is what having at least a slice of Molly in her does!
You know, I don't think I've ever seen a single-word, two-second stick-figure animation that ever said so much so eloquently as that one...
If there's demand, this may be another omake later.
As Vinyl notes later, it's Celly-sized.
Come to think of it, I still need to watch DB Super.
The theme of the sex in this chapter was for it to be not be magic-based. Well, excepting Phoenix's internalized magic, which is pretty much involuntary at this point. It showcased both his new talents--he automatically becomes compatible to his desired partner, and his magic otherwise responds to his conscious and subconscious desires to help bring about certain outcomes, like Celly going down on him. He fantasized about it, and then...
Then again, Celly didn't need much of a push in that direction anyway!
Or Phoenix!
Fun fact: horses and deer will eat meat. They've been observed to eat carrion among other things. I can't pull this from work, but you can look up a video on youtube where a wild deer goes right up to a picnic table and gets fed steak, which she eats quite happily.
Vinyl actually is. Mare of many talents, as she's said more than once. I think it's reasonable that such a spell would be right up her alley.
He should be! I believe you suggested an omake for this later...
There was method to Mia's madness all along.
Human or pony, you're not going to be able to resist that!
Hopefully for readers as well!
Yeah, I should probably remove a couple of those if they're getting too repetitive.
And thoughtful. Celly was thinking of what happened to Maya when she requested them.
It'll feel like it for Twilight. Maybe even for the others waiting for Phoenix to regain his memories and accept what happened so he'll hopefully want to do it again.
Which is what makes her so sexy, to him and many readers.
Which is ultimately why Celly chose him.
Changed so that he specifies defense attorney instead of lawyer.
And she's the only one who could make that comparison and be perfectly in character for it.
Didn't even think of that, sadly... for the record, monkey-style is supposed to mean putting a nest of fries topped with grilled onions, spread and cheese directly on the burger. But according to the chain itself, they don't recognize such a thing. They do animal-style, which means the pickles, spread, grilled onions and mustard fried directly onto the burger.
Appreciated! Thanks again for all your longpost comments, and look forward to seeing more in the future!
8819489
Thanks for the watch! You'll see in due course, promise...
I've seen a couple snippets of it on youtube, but no, I haven't watched it in any real sense. I take it it's good?
8820245
That works! Glad you liked and thanks for following the whole way!!!!
I mean... doesn't sound bad, to me.
Whew... damn, Firesight, this is finished? Wow... I dunno what to say, actually.
This has been one hell of a ride! Damn, when I first read this, I will admit... I was a bit skeptical, some sequels don't really turn out very well, I speak from experience But this was a sequel that I was happy to be along for the ride of, from the start to the finish!
So damn good show man, I loved this story, well written, awesome scenes, and fun stuff all around.
Thanks for the awesome read man, and congratulations on finishing such a project!
8821049
Had good faces.
Oh I INTEND to. This is exactly the sort of thing she'd love. Well written, intense, and really fucking funny.
You make a valid point.
Also a valid point.
I can only imagine how much it helps. Celestia has had to deal with A LOT of shit. And even if she's just a very powerful pony, not a demigoddess, she's still had to deal with wars, Tirek, Sombra, Discord, HER OWN SISTER going mad and being essentially alone for a thousand years. That has to take a HUGE toll on the sanity of even the hardiest of immortals.
It's like they did a fusion dance.
Oh Christ.
Not unlike Discord, except she's far more actively benevolent, Discord isn't the type to go out of his way to help others unless he owes them, or they're Fluttershy or Pinkie Pie.
Yeah, that's REALLY impressive.
Well, she still has her self control, and should she start going overboard, Luna would likely recognize the signs and pull her aside to say "Sister, you're starting to go overboard. What's wrong. No, it's not nothing, don't be fucking stupid. Something's wrong, I'm here to help, I'm not letting you go down the same path I did." Luna strikes me as the type to not put up with ANY of Celestia's misdirection or attempts to take control of the conversation if something's making her uncomfortable. She knows her too well.
ASDF movies is a GREAT series. It's just pure rapid fire absurd humor and it's GREAT. I'm so glad I found this isolated clip.
Can it please?
She IS bigger than an average pony, so naturally, what might satisfy, I dunno, a pony Cadence's size would not be enough for her.
The dub has reached about the midpoint of the Black arc, and the actors are knocking it out of the ballpark. Once again, I can link you to it, and even to the episode where the actual Super content comes in, not just Battle of Gods and Resurrection F again.
True enough.
She's usually considered the Equestrian epitome of beauty, she's wise and experienced more than any mortals, she clops AND cooks, and has a sense of humor. It's easy to see why she's so beloved.
That's fair. I do know that they're usually herbivorous though.
She's a resourceful mare, and if she knows she's going to end up so drunk she can't remember, she's going to have something to remedy that.
I believe I did.
Of course. She's a criminal defense attorney and now an angel, she's got MORE than enough time and brains to plan.
Yeah, I can't blame him. There's A LOT of fanart of Mia of a, and hell, her official art definitely emphasizes her beauty.
Oh most assuredly.
No, I'm just noticing it. She pronks a lot in canon too.
Of course. Celestia is OLD. She's dealt with a LOT of things. If she can prevent those she cares about from suffering, she's going to.
We shall see how things play out.
Yeah, yeah...
Of course.
Fair enough.
True enough.
I just have normal cheeseburgers. With ALL the ketchup.
You? Disappoint? What are you on about?
8821068
Or me! And more sex she shall certainly have going forward! Trust me, plenty more is planned both in sequels and some standalone Patreon-funded omakes...
Hey, I consider a reaction of speechlessness to be a good thing!
Oh, I know, believe me. And hell, this is one sequel you definitely should have been skeptical of, given what it was trying to do!
And I very much thank you for sticking with it from start to finish, kind sir. It was always a pleasure to see my regular commenters reply on each chapter, including yourself, getting to hear directly how much they enjoyed the latest addition and especially all the sex itself.
You're very, very welcome. I won't continue this for a while yet, but be assured I'll return to this verse. In the meantime? Enjoy my other stories, and I promise to keep editing yours. I certainly owe it to you!
Feels good to finally put the bow on this box, believe me, and to know that so many people liked it. But iin fairness, I never dreamt it would get as long as it did!: pinkiecrazy:
8820943
Definately sounds like Celestia... how can I be sure you're not the princess herself?
8821341
I appreciate the thought, but sadly, I'm not as pretty or as powerful... Hope you liked the final chapter!
8821092
I did not, however, like the season 8 opener at all. I may blog about that later.
Please pass it along then!
In the end, Rainbow's resilient and has a strong support network, though she'd normally never admit she needs them at this stage of the show. The irony is, she's right--Phoenix really isn't her type at all, human or no. But sometimes that creates even more of a spark, especially when it's someone who once saved you.
Fluttershy gave one as well. As for the rest of Twilight's friends? Pinkie likes his occasional goofiness and thinks he's very fun to be around, while Rainbow... TBD. Part of what happened during that whole encounter was Phoenix's internal magic trying to bring about outcomes he wanted, including gettings his hands on Rainbow, but at the same time, his new power can't just make them do it against their will--there has to be some inner willingness and desire on Rainbow's part as well for it to happen, even deeply buried.
Exactly. And for a time she lost herself in a form of insanity when she was Molly as a way of avoiding her grief.
If you want another example of this, check out UtM - Nightmare Night, where what happens is in large part based on this very concept.
Just be glad there wasn't an alchemic agent mixed in there ala UtM-NN as well!
Good point. Even at his best, Discord's basically chaotic netural, only nudging into good territory for those he particularly cares for or about.
Thanks!
She does have her self-control, and it would take some outside help for her to lose it, as happened here--like another keg of that cider. As for Luna, she's not immune to her desires either, as I think The Nightmare's teasing during the trial showed. But yes, she'd happily back down her sister and be quite blunt about it if she thought Celestia was crossing a line.
I believe I will check them out when I get home.
Stay tuned. I will be posting more information on that within a few days.
Which is basically what Celly told Mia the previous night while she was in Molly mode and Mia reminded her that size wasn't everything when she enhanced Phoenix. ("Speak for yourself, spirit! Given my large size, I require such length and girth!")
I'm pretty sure I can dig out the link you sent me again, but go ahead and resend it, thanks. I've put off watching it for long enough.
For a time, I was planning for it to go even further than that, but decided the more limited and magic-less scene was actually more powerful.
And why Phoenix so readily accepts her advances.
Usually, yes, but they'll eat meat in times of want or possibly to address certain nutritional deficiencies, I've read. Isn't just them, either--I've heard of rabbits who eat bacon. Then again, who could not like bacon?
Actuallyl, part of her motivation to do so is so she can tell Octy about it the next day. I really should bring Octy into the stories at some point short of the eventual TAS sequel.
Adding it to the list. So far I have three potential ones spread across two stories...
Death didn't end Mia Fey, it just made her all the more determined to serve the cause of justice. In the word of another great mentor...
She was designed to be eye candy whether living or channeled spirit, and I for one do not mind one bit.
Good. I worry way too much about that sometimes.
True. Just wish there were other words for it I could use for variety.
Well said.
Indeed. Not even I know at this point.
After Twilight's experience with Phoenix and what her student's magic did to him, Celly's now wondering if hers could have the same or greater effects on Ferro were she to see him more often and use more of it. With his permission, she may decide to find out in the months and years ahead...
I really like the ending. I think it's the perfect note to end the story on.
I want mine fully loaded, with double meat and cheese, lots of lettuce, tomato, raw onions and a couple pickles. Mustard and ketchup are also required.
What am I on? Probably AJ's zap apple cider considering some of the things I write...
Seriously, I just constantly worry if folks are really enjoying my works. I know it's stupid, but the worry is always there...
8821307
Oooh really? Sequels? Well that'll most certainly be interesting to see, hmm... very interesting.
hehehe, so would I.
Hahahaha, yeah, I get ya! But yeah, this was a really awesome story to read and I'm glad you pointed me in the direction of it so long ago, it was fun to be a reader for this
I'm sure a break will do you some good, I can't even begin to imagine what writing this had to have been like for all of you guys. And thanks again for being my editor, I really and truly appreciate your help in ways I can't even begin to express
I bet it does! Finishing a project of this size has to be really fulfilling! And i bet, hehehe.
8821442
Oh boy.
I will in time, right now she's in the middle of a big project and she'd rather I not disturb her. But I will in time.
Opposites attract.
Yep. Celestia, has been through a LOT.
I might do that at some point.
Yeah, and Pinkie is firmly in Chaotic Good territory. Twilight and Applejack strike me more as Lawful Good with shades of Neutral.
Or almost, but that was what I was trying to get at.
It's about 10 minutes total. Ish.
That's fair. Either way, considering Flurry was born, I'd say Shining is doing very well on Cadence's end. It occurs to me that there are better ways I could have phrased that.
Hope you enjoy.
You make a valid point.
Go for it.
She might have died, like a lot of cool older mentors, albeit Mia isn't THAT old, or looks really good for her age, either or, and like a lot of cool older mentors, death only slowed her down.
Same. And it helps that she's not JUST eye candy, she's got brains to match the beauty.
Google is your friend.
Oh boy, good luck Ferro, you're, gonna need it, man.
I just prefer meat, cheese and ketchup. Nice and simple. That said, I'd rather make the patty myself with a few vegetables IN the meat proper, NOT just some half assed fast food burger. If I'm going to have a burger, I'm going to make it a damn good one. Then again, burgers are a whole thing, divisive even among foods.
No no, I understand that. I know a couple authors and they all have the same worries. It's kinda like stage fright. And my tip for that is, don't worry about what your audience thinks. This is fun for you, you get to explore a magical world (hah, I'm clever) with colorful characters and a lot of weird stuff that's fun to explore.
8823122
I'll give it a look this weekend, thanks.
8823814
It's pretty good and the halfway end of the season goes into Miles' childhood and his friendship with Larry and Phoenix in a way the games never mentioned before Next EP after that begins the Justice For All Arc. Also Season 2 has been announced. I think it was stated to air next month.
8821480
Suffice it to say, I found it preachy, basically pushing politics I didn't appreciate at all given I watch the show to escape such things. And you know, you really think that after two invasions and zero ability to resist either, they'd think about rebuilding their military. Where was the Royal Guard when the Storm King came?
Cool, thanks.
Cliche, but true.
In the show, her leadership is... questionable, to say the least. But in my stories? After eighteen hundred years of life, a dozen wars, and plenty of hard lessons and heartbreak, she knows exactly what she's doing. She's a chessmaster in both the literal and figurative senses, patiently shaping the future of not just one, but two worlds.
Feel free. I'll be working on a new chapter of it next.
How about Rainbow and Fluttershy? I'd say Rainbow's neutral-ish good and Fluttershy is lawful good.
For now, I'm thinking of three patreon-funded omakes; each being one-shot/short stories or bonus chapters. Two would be for TLaTU, and one for Midnight Rising. They would be:
1. The Pinkamena/Phoenix scene. Phoenix loses the bet.
2. Rule 63 Phoenix x the Mane 6 as the result of the lost bet
3. The untold Principal Celestia x Vice Principal Luna x Dean Cadance scenes during the events of Midnight Rising.
Heh. I'm sure he does well on *both* her ends, though maybe less so now since caring for natural-born alicorn like Flurry Heart is a full-time job.
I'm certain I will. It'll be DBZ all over again except for better pacing, more frequent action, and consistent animation quality.
I imagine she'll visit with Vinyl at some point. At my most amibitous, I might have her stand in for Franny as prosecutor during Bridge to the Turnabout. She did promise to repay Edgeworth, after
Not even that much, thanks to the fact Maya can channel her. She knows how blessed and lucky she is to be able to help her loved ones so directly in death as well as life.
That too.
He's a pretty easygoing guy, and having now met him in the dream realm, Luna might start arranging dreamtime trysts for them.
Whenever I make burgers, I do the same. I saute some onions and peppers in butter and then mix them dirctly into the ground beef with spices and worcestershire sauce. I consider the latter the most important ingredient.
That it is! I've enjoyed these last few chapters as much as anything I've ever written just for getting to completely cut loose, and better yet, coming up with valid reasons to do so. That everyone seems to like it so much is just a bonus.
8823989
I'd say Fluttershy has a few shades of Chaotic thanks to Discord. Which has helped her A LOT.
Go for it.
True enough. Still, if Flurry's existence is anything to go by, he's obviously doing SOMETHING right.
For the most part. Some of the animation during the Beerus/Golden Frieza arc, suffers sometimes.
I say go for it. If you think she could do it.
I should watch more people play Ace Attorney games. I'm not invested enough to play them myself.
Which is good because I like an attractively designed woman as much as the next guy but, if there's no brains to go with the beauty, yeah, I think ANYONE'S patience would run thin pretty quickly.
Luna is best wingmare. That is all.
To each their own, but I prefer to get the ground beef and mix in whatever I want into the patty myself because as previously mentioned, I'm not going to settle for a fast food joint burger. Maybe I'm spoiled because I'm used to amazing home made burgers, but, they're just not good.
That's fair. I'm glad you're having fun with this.
Oh man, this story is going great. Still knee deep in this during the Heart chapter where Luna shows Phoenix his soul unbarred. Knowing what I know happens in Trials and Tribulations regarding Iris, I can say I am super thrilled for the sequel. Except Case 4 in the 2nd game, I can honestly say I love T and T the best out of the series and Spirit of Justice but I doubt you will quite get that far chronologically.
I will give my thoughts more when I fully complete the story, but I sure hope you will expand on the whole Iris vs Dahlia thing in 3 that it only glanced over in the game. Iris was what Phoenix thought he loved, and it 's an interesting dynamic. I am sooooo glad that I stopped this story when I was still reading it as incomplete when I did, it would have been agony with only 100 pages before you initially stopped.
The little nods and hints you throw in this story to Trials and Tribs, is honestly making me grin and giggle. It's dramatic irony at it's best (Thank you Series of Unfortunate Events!)
You rock for doing this you know!
Now back to the chapter!
8824072
Thanks!
If I do, that's well in the future at this point! Believe me, just completing this story was triumph enough.
If you like, I'd love to hear some comments or thoughts on chapters as you! I live for that sort of thing, but if you just want to give an ending review, that's fine too.
You're absolutely right, and as you're reading now, he shut his heart off to women afterwards as a result of that betrayal. But what happens when he learns differently...? The intention in the eventual sequel is (at least in part) to explore the whole Iris/Dahlia dynamic and what it means for Phoenix/Twilight. And along the way, give Twilight and perhaps a few other ponies a role in the events of T&T.
Sorry to make you wait this long, then! If you're at the start of the trial, you're entering the main arc of the story. The funny thing is, I didn't plan the trial to start, it just appeared in the course of the story, perhaps in response to some commenters saying they wanted to see some character conflict and Ace Attorney action. They got in spades with the twelve chapters of the story. Hope you like!
And after that? Then the third arc, where things get hot and heavy again, though you'll also be treated to one final worldbuilding chapter consisting of Miles Edgeworth and Celestia discussing human history and her role in it over a chess match. I'm especially proud of that chapter. The final three chapters are the grand finale, and be warned I completely cut loose in it! But also justified it quite well in terms of the story... Look forward to hearing what you think!
Irony on my end being, I haven't quite completed the game yet! I still need to finish off the final case, even though I know the ending. I watched walkthrough videos about five years ago, so I know the story at least, if not remembering all the steps to win the case and the game.
Why thank you! It's my most unpopular story in terms of downvotes, which prevented it from ever featuring (the only one of my stories that hasn't), but it's also my most popular and successful in terms of reads and comments... to say nothing of pulling off the impossible ship believably. It helps that it's a damn good story to boot, in my not-so-humble opinion.
Thank you for following and enjoy the rest of the story!
8825543
I finished The Heart's Turnabout arc just yesterday. I wanted to play Samus Returns on my 3DS while I was out at the library then, but I got to roughly the trial's start, started laughing my ass off (I am honestly surprised no one gave me dirty looks at my suppressed laughing as I was at a library. Maybe I wasn't as loud as I thought) and just was hooked.
I live for the chaotic, epic, and slight cinematic appeal of a final case where the game doesn't pull any punches. In the first game, Phoenix defends Edgeworth who was giving him a rough time throughout the game.. and cross examines a parakeet. I played this on my wii and didn't even know it was a final case till the credits rolled. I just thought it was really difficult all of a sudden. Then in the second game which was eh but still enjoyable 3 cases, then we get to the final case, and a whopping ton of shit happens. Maya gets captured, Phoenix gets blackmailed into defending an asshole, and Engarde's reveal honestly STILL gives me chills to this day. This is in my opinion the best final case and is only rivaled by the third game and Dual Destinies... Simply cause I DID NOT see that coming and was completely shocked that one of the best characters in the game..... (devolves into spoiler territory which is in of itself is a spoiler)
The third game was honestly the first time the entire game had some wonderful cases. I honestly loved the prosecutor even if his mannerisms and animations were annoying. I hope, I really do hope that you give him a happier ending here. Dahlia though, was honestly the best part of the entire game, and stole the show. She reminded me of Fluttershy for all of a few minutes. Then... later... not really so much (Am I right at being slightly frustrated that not once did Twilight, Fluttershy, or Celestia catch on the hints on Dahlia messing with him? I get that they didn't want to intrude, but a tease would have been nice author... you can tease things and Dahlia was only alluded to. This is why I like Luna. She gets shit done and opens up about her. I blame it on my inner romantic, but he was stupidly obvious about it, and I would have thought he would have teased it enough for Twilight to wonder why. Stupid boundary respecting ponies. I do know why you didn't tease it though. I am just frustrated that my inner romantic wasn't satisfied about that. It could have made a good conversation and foreshadowing to the bigger reveal later)
I know she dies in the game, but maybe give you know who a bigger role and more Maya interactions! I honestly don't like the tragic implications that Maya never really caught on to her mother till it was too late, and I hate tragic near misses like that. They upset me. The series is fucking full of em, and yet I love the games. Don't get me started on the 3rd case of Prosecutor's Path. That makes me cry!
Still have around 240 pages left or rather the long ass epilogue (the trial was the story) but this story was well worth the wait. I read it for the story more so than the porn, and honestly me saying that is something. This was one story in a series of stories that I followed that I returned to reading Pony fiction for. I have been reading other fandoms lately and playing games (Current game of the month is Bayonetta on my Switch and obviously Samus Returns for the 3DS) and not reading pony stories. I kept an eye on this story and adore everything.
Don't ask me to nitpick as there aren't any and honestly I love the details of the story to much to care about it's controversy. The only thing really is it's an adult version of the games. I can see this happening in the DS game if Capcom ever went crazy and paid Hasbro enough to have it in a game.
I will comment again once I finish the story. It will be more of the same ranting and raving as this comment!
One of the few clopfics I've ever read, this is erotica done right. Rather than just gratuitous porno, the sex serves a purpose in fleshing out the characters and driving their development throughout the story. Even if you just skim through the main sex scenes, as I did, the rest of the story still stands on its own as a thrilling adventure. Bravo, Firesight. Well done.
8833674
Thank you! I just got up, and this comment already made my day. That is exactly my philosophy regarding sex in stories and even sex-oriented stories--always make it serve a purpose. I’m very gratified that the story appeals even to non-clop readers like you and can be enjoyed on the basis of being a ‘thrilling adventure’ rather than the sex alone.
Thank you very much for reading and commenting! And if you’d like to read a non-clop adventure, may I recommend Before the Storm: The Rise of Firefly if you haven’t already read it? It was spawned by Firefly’s appearance in this story and is very well-reviewed.
8825579
Can't say I thought the beginning of the trial laughworthy, but then again, I could see the nightmare where Phoenix gets visited by all his old enemies as being kind of funny if you've played the games and know the characters well. I'm very glad you enjoyed it so much!
Indeed he does, facing off against the great Manfred von Karma to save Edgeworth, who was the first badguy prosecutor of the series. It also established a pattern where Phoenix redeems the main prosecutor he faces throughout the course of the games. On the other hand, you're aware that there's a DLC case in the first game that comes chronologically after Edgeworth's murder trial? Rise from the Ashes pits Phoenix against Edgeworth and the powerful police chief, Damon Gant, who was mentioned in here. In some ways, that's the most difficult case because its a three-day trial and you end up with no less than four PAGES of evidence in your court record and have to use it all at one point or another, never mind the ending where it's an automatic loss if you don't make the last two choices perfectly.
I have played Duel Destinies, so yes, I know. I consider the Matt Engarde case Phoenix's best showing ever as he saved Maya, kept his defense attorney oath by successfully defending his client, but still trapped him into a guilty plea with some very deft use of evidence at the end. In the story here and Turnabout Storm before that, that was his latest case and it remains very fresh in his mind. It's also where a lot of Maya's feelings for him have come from--I mean, how could you not fall for a guy who's saved you not once, not twice, but three times?
Godot. The suavest and coolest of all prosecutors, though to be honest, I don't approve of how he treated Phoenix and I think what he did in the last case wasn't nice at all. There were far better ways to stop Dahlia and save Maya that didn't result in 'testing' Phoenix or sacrificing Maya's mother. The events of Trials and Tribulations will be the subject of the next installment in this series, and yes, I do plan to make some changes.
Yes, she was, and as you've seen, her ghost still haunts Phoenix to this day... and she may yet haunt Twilight as well.
I'm not sure what you mean here, sorry. Phoenix told Twilight about Dahlia and what she'd done to him in part 59 of Turnabout Storm (https://www.fimfiction.net/story/6177/60/phoenix-wright---turnabout-storm/part-59---shadows-of-the-past), and Fluttershy was listening in with their ears to the door with the rest of the Twilight's friends.
Luna examined the dreams of Phoenix and those affecting him, including Dahlia, so she's well aware that there were two 'Dahlias' and Phoenix doesn't know about the one who truly did love him. She chooses not to tell him about that--quite rightly in my view, since that would only complicate things in his head further and likely make them worse. At the point Luna finds him, he's dealing with the fears of betrayal Dahlia left in him, and Twilight's now bound up in all that. Mia also knows at this point, being an angel, but she's not about to tell either, perhaps having seen a little ways into the future (an ability angels have) and knowing that this is not the right time to tell him.
Yep. I think that's really a shame too, and I actually blame Godot for it. There was no need to kill her. You could have just knocked her out and left Dahlia trapped in Misty's body, revealed her, and then extracted her confession to end Morgan Fey's scheming, preform the spirit severence techinique mentioned in the second game, and then send all on their way. Mia safe, Pearls safe, and Misty reunited with her kin.
Then I thank you for taking time out of your game playing to follow it! I have had several readers over the course of this story who have told me that they like the story more than than porn; there have even been a few readers who don't go for clopfics who have said they like this! I consider that very high compliment indeed, that it appeals to both camps.
Actually, if memory serves, Duel Destinies was M-rated for mature themes more than anything explicit. I'd love to see the trial in here turned into a Turnabout Storm-style video, but unfortunately, I don't have the ability to do that right now.
And I very much look forward to it! Take care and thanks for commenting!!!

To be honest, I hadn't read Turnabout Storm in a while, went straight into this based on memory. It wasn't a long time, but I had already re-read Turnabout Storm twice, and was rereading to catch up Lawyer and the Unicorn where I stopped originally. The Dahlia thing must have been too subtle to remember or maybe I had just forgotten. I only remember Phoenix being vague about Dahlia because the memory was too painful for him to say how she hurt him in high detail.
Anyway, I only just have internet now (in New York on vacation and dad only just used his Hotspot thus giving me internet now and internet doesn't exist at my grandparents. No one else exists in the neighborhood that has internet we could borrow) and finished this on the airplane.
I didn't much care for the porn, but I adored the world building. I don't much care for Molestia (never read the comic, never read a lot of stories with her... but Molestia like Disney (HAHAHAH) is hard to not know about. I personally like Tyrentestia (for the AU adventure, and Trollestia... which is the lessor of three evils) either, but it didn't hurt the story. Even here, this was a good backstory.
Godot was a great Prosecutor, but he was too gungho about hating Phoenix. He was annoying throughout the game and the third game was just dark as he wasn't truly redeemed. Since the 4th case of the second game, Franny turned more likable (She steals the limelight from Edgeworth in Investigations) since her debut. He likes to think he was saved but he had already murdered Misty.
My one main concern over the sequel is Misty and Godot personally. They need more closure. Maybe Twilight could figure out the identity and begin a batman gambit (I love Tropes) and fake her death. Even withheld from Phoenix and since I am feeling randy, maybe have a psyche-lock there too.
One thing I didn't like was that you didn't have a lot of Psyche-lock interaction. There was one in the entire story. I don't know about you, but honestly the best thing that came from the second game was that mechanic. Adds a whole different layer of epic to the series. I was kinda sad that you didn't have more of them.
Sure you can say more will come in the sequel, but the third had more. Outside of this and the sex (I don't mind clopfics, but not quite as much during world building centered stories. This was an 846 page story (give or take a bit as I don't have my Nook near me without leaning forward a little) Sex in a long story sometimes wears.
I was a little iffy on Maya's feelings with Phoenix, but it does speak volumes to be saved a ton and everything. I don't mind waiting a long time for the sequel. This was a long story and I can understand. I just hope it doesn't end quite as tragically. Since Mia is a little more active in this world, maybe have her intervene with Godot.
Twilight is pretty smart, she can probably deduce Misty's identity and work out a system to fool everyone else. If you insist on things happening the same but plan on saving Misty and in theory Godot or Diego as well. It can spell trouble if Phoenix realizes Twilight is hiding something from him and there are like 6 or 7 locks and little in the way of evidence to help him out. I think I remember the amount of locks being the weight of how much the person (or in this case pony) cares about keeping the secret!
Outside of these things, I loved this story. I drifted from ponies a little. No longer watching the show as much or at all. But the fandom I still very much like if still distant than what I once was. This story was the one thing I was excited about (among others) returning to and kept a rigid eye on it. I wish Franny had a small role in the end to torture Phoenix and Twilight a little considering how promiscuous the Nightmare was in her form. I kept waiting for Larry to show up to declare his undying love to Sunny... but he never showed up.
You have some fantastic ideas, fantasy elements (Fire and Ice powers and a nicer Trixie overall) and I overall love the changes you added dubious as they were to some people. If I may ask how far do you think you are planning to take this? Are you only adapting Trials and Tribulations or will you eventually introduce Apollo (Will Phoenix even lose his licence in this timeline?) and Trucy.
I adored Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice (The former being slightly better because I loved the nature of the cases but Spirit of Justice was cool too) but I doubt you will adapt this far. So will you condense the highlights of each (mainly characters... I don't technically care I just wanted to know if Apollo, Athena, or Simon will show up in some form or another) into a trilogy of sorts? I realize this is probably a lot, but I just love this AU and I loved the video, and was wondering how far you planned to take it. If you didn't think that far ahead, fine... But I loved this AU and I love the nods you had already to Apollo Justice. That was a fantastic gambit Phoenix pulled. Where was the chessmaster lawyer when we controlled him? Even in later games he was still kinda goofy but he had a cynical, sarcastic vibe that still had a chessmaster vibe to it.
I will probably read your other stories at a later date! I also plan on getting some of the other Phoenix Wright games on my 3DS at some point too! I only have Spirit of Justice right now. I even have yet to watch the anime. So yeah, I love this story, I loved the changes the adaptation had and I have added somethings to my head canon.
I think I even had an idea to adapt a variant on the Sonata, Sunset, and Trixie backstory as an homage in a story I had an idea of. A kind of alternate path otherwise unrelated to everything. I think I can say a few other things too, but they continue to be ego strokers and thus not all that new or original.
Roseluck and Lily further down for the big sex scene. Try as I might I just can't come up with an angle for them doing the entire chapter.
Fuck you, satellite dish!
I still think that episode was pretty crappy. I just can't help but empathize with Pinkie, even if she gets kinda weird. Rainbow Dash should not have held on to such a trivial matter for so long.
They're so warm and supple and there right next to all the other attractions. What's not to love about them?
What about humans?
Neither do any of us who live in such troubled times. But with ebola comes great power.

But can AJ top the seductive power of Roseluck eating cake?
derpicdn.net/img/2017/2/4/1355194/large.jpeg
What is it with earth ponies and sexy eating? I feel like I'm in an MK Ultra mind control experiment with the brony community sometimes. You can't make these coincidences up.
Superior hips and superior banter. Applejack is Best Pony.
[ear flop] B-but, her flowing golden locks of divinity...
The virgin Rainbow Dash versus the Chad Fluttershy.
This is without a doubt the most passionate defense of one man's human/pony harem shipping I have ever seen. Though I won't ever agree that such a thing is ever a good idea in any of my fics, you've nonetheless sold it in yours. As a prereader I felt great pride in your efforts on this paragraph. I couldn't have said it better.
You have an IV in your arm to replace the salt Pinkie sucked out of you. Welcome back to the land of the living! We must hear from you what the Other Side is like from you later.
Well with Luna not present, we went with our second-best option. Littlepip must have had her booked for the night...
Well the latest episode did mention Pinkie Pie can access the Chaos Dimension and I do headcanon that the Chaos Dimension is halfway between reality and the realm of dreams, enabling a being of sufficient ability to be able to dream existence into the universe. This is my take on how she did it.
Haircanon.
The pleasures of the flesh slathered upon the Meat of The Guilty with dijon mustard! And lettuce. Feast now upon my alicorn form and taste... the future!
... Did you really just paint one of Goldie's carrots yellow and stick it on your head? I do like the goose feathers though. If only they matched your coat.
The Princess of Fertility has not the time for your banter! We must review the following scene before my next scheduled milking and I need your help.
Oh- okay... "Princess". We're really doing this routine, huh? (sigh) Alright, alright. I just hope there's nothing too crazy in here.
Such dedication to the craft of lovemaking! The Mane Six will simply have to offer his services to me as consort. Or Escort. Just get that stud over here pronto! ¡Andale! ¡Andale!
That could actually be cool if they got superpowers out of all of this. Bit silly though, the idea of getting special abilities from sex. Not even Marevol Comics would run with a concept like that!
[Roseluck merely smiles]
Lily, you know I gotta ask... so would you smash?
W-wha? Smash? Celestia? No way! It'd be like be intimate with my Mom! And curse you for telling me what 'smash' means. Ew!
I kinda get what you mean. She's got that expression just shouts... Ya know...
Obey?
Yes! That's it. Very good, Lily. Obey. Walking up to her and asking would be pretty scary for a little lady like yourself!
Hey, you're only eight inches higher at the withers!
That's almost a third of my total height!
Alright! Alright! Stahp!
Would you like to nibble my horn, Lily?
Only if I get to eat the entire thing.
Oh, very well. But I get to eat cake while you watch!
(sigh) I don't want the nosebleed...
Me next! Me next! Sequel then me next!
Roseluck, curb your enthusiasm before you destroy the monitor!
Lily, you cannot know the all-consuming need for tail rutting. It fills me like the cold, dark void longing to be purged by the warm shaft of day! Know this, Phoenix, I will hunt you to the ends of Equestria and show you things not even Celestia could dream of! My tail cries out for Justice!
Justice stays crispy, even in milk!
(blinks) What the hay does that mean!?
Horncanon!
Hey amigo, this is my segment!
S-sorry. R-roseluck.
Wings? Horns? Alicorns get the best sex. At least I still got my old reliables on standby... [swivels both ears nearly 180 degrees] They track humidity, dew point, radio waves, and detect evil things that want to get me when not catching stallion attention.
And make you somehow even taller!
Lily, I'm so sorry.
Evil tall ponies...
[cringe]
[cringe]
You keep that thing away from any part of my glorious body! I'm not too keen on the idea of dying, no matter good the lay is.
[urk!]
Lily, I've never seen you turn that color before! Hang on girl, you're doing great! Go Celestia, go!
Kkat is honored by the mention of her word for stallions! Maybe Phoenix could help Littlepip take out a raider nest sometime! He can clobber them all to death with his 19 inch dangler!
Lily you are not showing this scene the deference it deserves!
Make love, not Fallout! Time for bed, AJA.
(to be continued in part 2)
Nor would I ask them to! Rose is a mare who knows exactly what she likes, after all, and cares for little else, while Lily...
Lily just cares about Rose. And her comics. And maybe her chocolate milk. In roughly that order.
The only thing that would make it worse was if they got a "SIGNAL LOST" message like on Satellite in a storm except written in archaic fonts!
I admit it makes no sense. But in fairness, pies have never been my favorite desert either. The only time I ever eat them are with my parents at Thanksgiving and/or Xmas dinner.
Sadly, they come part and parcel with them. And in far too many cases, that's a definite deal-killer.
Must... obey... cake-eating... Roseluck... too... sexy... to... resist...
Put that in there for you, of course! Glad you liked!
You don't understand, my friend--she literally can't expose them for very long. They're just too powerful to be set free except in carefully controlled circumstances; all Equestria might fall at her hooves if she did!
And can even assume different personalities to replace her friends and sell dresses. Top that, Rainbow!
Wow... that's very high compliment coming from you, giving your intense hatred for (most) things Xeno. Thanks! I didn't actually plan for this to happen in the story originally, but... it did, and I think it turned out nicely for it.
You make her sound like a Star Trek B-villian.
Yes, they actually had a salt vampire as the antagonist in one of the shows.
Well, she is paying him a visit to Trottingham later, at least in his dreams...
Works for me!
Perfect.
Fine, but I ain't eating the sundried tomatoes!
Crazy? In a firesight clopfic? You needn't worry, Lily. All my stuff is perfectly vanilla and mundane.
All I can think of when I hear that word is Speedy Gonzales.
You really should know better than to give me ideas! Then again, Phoenix has already gained what amounts to two superpowers from having sex with Twilight and now Celly, even if he doesn't yet know it. He's acquiring some of her fire elmental abilities and a more general ability to exert influence on his surroundings; encourage events and outcomes he wants. Lady Requiem may yet have a talk with him about the latter...
LILY SMASH!
You're now futa servicing an alicorn Roseluck, and yet still so easy to squick!
That might possibly be arranged, Rosy!
Uh, Rose? They're really not meant to be humped, you know!
Well, Phoenix is all about justice, Rose, and he will deliver it in great quantities!
But she's not incorrect! Just think... we invented two new canon with this final chapter!
So you're saying Celly and Luna are evil?
Relax, Rose--the idea here is that Phoenix has absorbed so much magic at this point that he now adapts physically to his desired partner, so here, he automatically became Celly-sized. If he were with Twilight as a human, he'd be back at usual seven-incher, while Twilight as a pony would rate eleven, which is still pushing it a bit (not that she minds!). What size would be ideal for you, Rose? Because if he wants you or even starting thinking about you sexually, he'll automatically beocme it!
Poor girl... and so close to the end, too.
You're right! After all, this entire section is so understated and dignified...
Appreciate your part 1 and looking forward to part 2!
The new artwork for this story is growing stronger everyday.
Does twilight stay human all or most of the time? Cause pony turned into human stories aren't really my thing besides a select few I've found.
8964980
While she’s on earth, she stays human most of the time, for obvious reasons. That is not to say she doesn’t make appearances as a pony even on Earth, though. And who knows? This might be one of your select few. I promise it’s very well-written and even when she’s with Phoenix you’ll see her split time between her pony and human bodies.
8964994
Then I guess I'll be adding this to my reading soon pile. Xd

Excellent! Hope you enjoy!

I feel that I may have not properly expressed what I meant, after rereading my comment. I was thinking more towards the actions of Celestia, Mia, and Vinyl than those of Maya. Maya was obviously not in a position to really think about anything. I just thought it odd that the other three didn't seem to think once about the future consequences beyond 'she'll need to talk about it with him'. No thought to potential taboo, misplaced associations, etc., just 'this is what we have to do, because magic'.
To be perfectly honest, at this point I'm not sure if I am objecting to the characters or potentially lazy writing. All I know is that their seemingly callous disregard for the potential consequences in the moment did not feel like something that any of those three characters would do. Celestia, knowing that Twilight wasn't ready, refused her out of concern for her mental state. Mia, since the beginning, has been trying to help Maya stabilize and understand her feelings. Vinyl, though somewhat ancillary up until this point, has consistently demonstrated a concern for Maya's mental well-being. And yet, at this one point, all of that seems to go out the window. I understand that they were on a bit of a time crunch, and that they didn't have any other known options, but I would have at least expected one of the three to express her displeasure at the necessity of their actions.
And yes, I have read further. I am currently at the band battle, so I have seen a bit of the consequences of the actions of the three. I understand why you need Maya where she is. I just think the three are out of character leading up to that point.

I see. Then I will endeavor to address that when it comes time to do the editing pass/story revamp.
Jesus, this is one if the longest single-page comment threads I've seen!
Ok, so I finally finished the story after taking a short break following the court scene. Regarding that, it was a great ride, with plenty of twists by Nightmare and wonderfully wrapped up. Maya and Vinyl's story took me by surprise as one of my favorite parts, and I loved their part in the trial.
Now the ending... Hoo boy
That certainly wasn't what I was expecting, and it really went all out. Some of the characters seemed a little exaggerated, but all in the name of good fun, so no worries. The portal scene had me in stitches, brilliant.
The final chapter did wrap up all the characters nicely, and I really did enjoy it as a whole (even with no knowledge of Pheonix before this story). If a sequel ever manifests, count me in.
Time to check out Firefly! Cheers

This is indeed my most heavily commented-on original story, and I’ve been lucky enough to have not one but two users who enjoy giving me longpost comments on individual chapters.
Thanks! I’m very pleased with the way the trial turned out, to be sure, and how wonderfully evil The Nightmare was. Maya and Vinyl's story took me by surprise as one of my favorite parts, and I loved their part in the trial.Funny thing about Maya is that she ended up being the glue that held significant parts of the story together and what happened with Vinyl was definitely something I didn’t originally plan! But once it happened, I just went with it, and heck, it gave me the perfect excuse for some rare woman/mare scenes.
I definitely cut loose in the ending! Well, it’s kind of my philosophy to end my adult works with a flurry of fireworks, and this was the form it took! The Portal sequence was easily the most complex sex scene I’ve ever attempted and it actually came out very well for the most part. YMMV, of course, but I enjoyed writing it greatly.
You read this without any knowledge of Phoenix Wright or Turnabout Storm? I’m impressed! And pleased you were able to enjoy it despite that! I do encourage you to at least watch the Turnabout Storm videos at some point. That was my introduction to Phoenix Wright, and I’m very glad for it.
And I see you’ve already started into it! It isn’t adult, but I think you’ll agree by now the action is hot and heavy all the same. I use it and its sequel as a change of pace from my usual fare, and though it’s been a constant struggle to gain readers for it, I still think it’s one of the best military fics on site.
I appreciate you leaving comments and posting a final review! Hope you enjoy Firefly, and any other of my stories you may yet read.
One thing that always mildly annoyed me in this sequel was that Phoenix and Twilight never got a chance to do the whole stepladder vs Ladder correction debate with each other in hearing range. I realize this is a fairly meaningless desire, but I do admit that I find it funny that they obviously are so used to corrections at this point that even if they heard the correct usage of the term, they would automatically correct the other just out of habit alone.
I guess I am just weird. Twilight already corrected Pinkie in the original, so I guess there is no reason for it, but it's a gag I like. I guess only Maya, Pinkie, or Ema really call a step ladder a ladder. As I was replaying Case 5 in the original game I guess I just got a random flashback to this story. I blame the step ladder really.
I guess that's a minor desire for the sequel. That Twilight and Phoenix hear someone call a step ladder a ladder and correct the person/pony at the same time. I'm weird!
9816721
Heh. Well, I’ll tell you what, then--there’s going to be a editing pass/update of the sequel, and we’ll see about adding such a reference in? Regardless, hope you enjoyed!
9816725
Oh I did... very much so. Yours (novelization of the original too) and the original animation are some of my favorite pony things and is one of the things on the list keeping me in the fandom despite long disinterest in watching the show. It's not the only reason (don't want to get your ego too big after all) mind you, but I don't read all that many pony stories. Plus the idea of Twilight in Trials and Tribulations is borderline squee material. Especially as that game is practically a masterpiece in terms of every case being enjoyable (as opposed to 4 in 2 being the sole good case, and 4 and 5 in the first game being really good... but Redd White remains a bastard and I hate the 2nd case for that reason alone. At least Damon Gant doesn't physically annoy me. But man is Case 5 slow... Doesn't really get good till Day 3)
So yeah, despite not really big on the whole mature stuff, I like the story anyway. Guess I am lazy and torment myself with minor annoyances.
9982919
I used online translator for parody purposes, for example:
prepare to fight! i will vomit on your possessions, insolent mushroom! would roughly translate to
prepareth to square! i shall heave the gorge on thy livings, naughty mushrump! into ancient Lunerian
I can't find where but I just remembered that a certain female organ called clitoris. And in one of those sexy chapters Phoenix had been playing with Twilight's sex or something like that. Which really should be Twilight's clit/vagina when I think about it.
9987888
I'll see about changing it with the upcoming editing pass.

A critically important Fallout Equestria joke inspired by one of MLP's worst episodes of all time. Thanks, Dave Polsky!
I swear, when the best thing that comes from an episode is something Pinkie Pie is wearing...
10297481
when i saw that song choice my mind went to monument valley. have both that game and it's sequel on my phone. so much fun for a simple puzzle game
10297482
Never tried it. I'll have to look it up.
10310973
Great, first I'm adding random lines to a Castlevania story I'm helping out on and now this ......makes sense
10309772
I would change your mind, but I'm woefully behind on One Piece. Last thing I read was back in the Grand Line.

Yeah I never been a fan of politics at all. And I never trusted Twitter and Facebook ever (used Twitter for a time but I got bored of it.)
The only thing I use is discord to talk to my friends like ladyarmester and chrome.
I mean we can talk about this over PM later if you want?
