Every Nightmare Night a timid little ghost of a long deceased filly comes out to celebrate the holiday which she cherished most when she was alive. Often she kept to the sidelines, never being noticed for hundreds of years. This was until three little fillies, and their group of rag-tag friends, caught her attention.

Dinky has finally gained her wings and become an alicorn! But stopping at the Princess Registry to get her new title brings some discouraging news.

The original version of this story placed 14th in the Writeoff Association's 56th contest, "*Princess Not Included."

Spike has had a lot of extra time since Twilight and Starlight have become busy with their various duties. It's understandable, but he feels rather useless at times.

After taking a trip to the local hospital, Spike starts volunteering to entertain the fillies and colts in the children's wing. Spreading laughs and smiles to children and families who need encouragement is more fulfilling then he could have ever wished.

But, when a certain blonde-maned pegasus with much less fortunate circumstances takes notice of Spike and just how caring he truly is, how will Spike react?

Equestria hasn’t seen a shooting star in over a thousand years. Derpy Hooves thinks it’s time to give her daughters a Hearth’s Warming gift they’ll never forget.

With no other choice, (Mostly thanks to blackmail) Button's friends must help him fool the town into thinking he's dead but he'll have to figure out a way out of this mess or his mother will bury him six feet for real.
