Summer Sun was not a fan of the ground and most of the ponies who lived on it. As a Pegasus she felt she only truly belonged in the sky. With a steady job as a weather pony it seemed she would never need to live on the ground.

That changed one day when she got an assignment to oversee the transfer of water to Cloudsdale. What she thought would be a one time thing turned into a full job.

Now she is stuck in Ponyville. Worse yet she might actually like it there. Worse of all it seems she might honestly have feelings for an earth pony stallion!

Her world is about to come crashing down to earth and she hates every second.

"When a tiny filly from Ponyville ends up in a slave market half a world away, it's up to former slaver Blue Cat to bring her home. The only problem? Her home is in Ponyville, where a thug like him won't last five seconds. Plus, Blue's not exactly good with kids. Then how in the world did he end up with two?"

When I saw this comic, the overwhelming sensation was one of wanting to rescue something small and helpless; I put that feeling into writing, while changing some of the basic aspects of the comic. So please take the attached comic as a scene-setter, but not as canon for this particular story! (The filly pictured is an OC by the artist, so I am using my own OC in her place!)

Thorax will be in her sights for the next few days, leaving her with the question if she can confront both of their feelings within that time, or handle his foal-like curiosity of the equestrian world.

It was a day that changed Equestria forever. The day the terrible Lord Tirek descended upon Maretropolis from the depths of Tartarus, destroying everything in his path. If not for the Power Ponies and their bravery, Maretropolis, and possibly Equestria itself, would no longer exist.
A year has passed since that terrible day and while peace has returned, ponies have become divided over the world they see now. The Power Ponies are seen as a beacon of hope, but are they more a threat to civilization than they are a service? One pony believes that justice should be in the hands of the common ponies, as she takes justice into her own hooves. Another has more sinister thoughts in mind, seeing the Power Ponies as an obstacle in his way and will go to diabolical lengths to get rid of them for good. This is their story…
